I've been looking through the categories, reading people's stories and watching the trending ones.  I must say, a month later, i still don't get it!\n\nWe've all seen and read articles written here where people pour out their heart, tell us their life story, the goods and the bads. We've seen incredible content, short stories and funny ones, engaging articles and mind-boggling information, and yet for some reason this kind of stuff sinks down to the bottom like a wet cracker shark. \n\nAm i getting the STEEM message wrong? In order for a creative blogger with good content and a message to broadcast to make it in this sea world of writers, they need to keep writing. Keep doing their thing, never go astray and sell themselves out for a few extra pennies.\n\nI know people here who struggle to make a living and STEEMIT is a ray of hope for them. I see their joy when they get a whale lick, and i see their frustration when they don't. I see happy, i see rage. But there's one thing you kids fail to realize.  PERSEVERANCE. You can have all the whale licks you want, but in the end those who will win and make a stable income from this are the people hat have a follower base. I already have a few people i follow and their content has become my morning newspaper replacement. I sit there, have a sip of my coffee, read, and laugh and cry with them. We've bonded.  As long as these people don't whore out and keep true to their style and topic, they will forever remain my coffee mates. \n\nAnd isn't that what every author here thrives to become? I've been looking through the categories, reading people's stories and watching the trending ones.  I must say, a month later, i still don't get it!\n\nWe've all seen and read articles written here where people pour out their heart, tell us their life story, the goods and the bads. We've seen incredible content, short stories and funny ones, engaging articles and mind-boggling information, and yet for some reason this king of stuff sinks down to the bottom like a wet cracker shark. \n\nAm i getting the STEEM message wrong?
