Biar tidak hilang, saya posting di sini._ Lhokseumawe, 17 September 2020. Oleh Suci Idealisti Meutia HUKUM memiliki banyak definisi. Mulai dari Plato, Aristoteles, Karl Marx, EM Meyers, Utrecht, sampai para ahli hukum di Indonesia seperti Prof Dr Mochtar Kusumaatmadja, Soerojo Wignjodiporoe, mendefinisikan hukum secara berbeda. Plato, misalnya, menerjemahkan hukum sebagai seberangkat peraturan yang mengikat hakim dan masyarakat. Dalam hal ini, Plato cenderung menerjemahkan hukum melalui pendekatan hukum yang melibatkan otoritas penegakan hukum yakni hakim, serta masyarakat. Sedangkan Prof Dr Mochtar Kusumaatmadja memberikan definisi hukum sebagai keseluruhan kaidah dan asas yang mengatur pergaulan hidup bermasyarakat dan memiliki tujuan untuk memelihara ketertiban. Kalau kita membaca semua definisi hukum menurut pakar, kita akan menemukan beberapa substansi menyangkut hukum yang memiliki kesamaan di antara para pakar. Substansi tersebut adalah bahwa hukum itu dibuat untuk mengatur kehidupan manusia dengan cara mengikat, memaksa, dan memberikan sanksi (hukuman) bagi semua pelanggarnya. Setiap manusia sama di depan hukum, kecuali beberapa hukum yang memang diskriminatif, seperti diskriminatif terhadap penyandang disabilitas, diskriminatif terhadap perempuan dan anak, dan sebagainya. Hukum disusun melalui serangkaian proses yang panjang yang melibatkan banyak ahli. Di sinilah terkadang hukum memiliki banyak kekurangan dan kelemahan karena setiap ahli menerjemahkan sesuai kapasitasnya. Hukum juga sarat dengan kepentingan ekonomi dan politik, makanya dikenal beberapa istilah dari jenis hukum seperti politik hukum karena sejak kelahirannya sudah ada campur tangan politik. Hukum juga memiliki banyak jenis, sifat, waktu, dan unsurnya. Hukum memiliki karakteristik dan tujuan yang diatur untuk kepentingan bersama, bukan kelompok tertentu. Hukum yang dibuat untuk kepentingan bersama dan dijalankan sesuai yang tertulis, akan menciptakan ketertiban di tengah masyarakat. Tetapi, produk hukum yang bagus seperti undang-undang, peraturan daerah atau qanun, dan sebagainya, menjadi lemah kalau aparat penegak hukumnya lemah, korup, dan tidak amanah. Jadi, ada hukum di satu pihak dan ada penegak hukum di pihak lain. Hukum yang dibuat manusia memiliki banyak kekurangan. Dalam Islam, dikenal hukum yang bersumber dari Al Quran, hadis, dan ‘ijma para ulama. Di Aceh yang memberlakukan syariat Islam, beberapa produk hukum dibuat berdasarkan syariat agama seperti qanun tentang maisir, khalwat, dan sebagainya. Menurut Ketua Pelaksana, Ratri Candrasari, menyebutkan ada lima keynote speaker dalam konferensi yang berlangsung secara daring tersebut. Mereka adalah Prof Peter Charles Taylor dari Murdoch University Australia, Assoc Prof Dr John McCarthy dari Autralian National University, Dr Shamsuddin L Taya dari Development Academy of Bangsamoro, Filipina. Kemudian Assoc Prof Dr Yusliza Mohd Yusoff dari Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia, dan dari Indonesia ada guru besar Universitas Gadjah Mada Prof Hermin Indah Wahyuni. “Mereka dipastikan akan menjadi keynote speaker dalam konferensi bulan November mendatang,” ungkap Ratri Candrasari, Kamis (17/9/2020). Menurutnya, konforensi akan membahas tentang berbagai persoalan dan ilmu sosial dan politik, budaya, ekonomi, hukum, dan pendidikan. Tema yang diangkat adalah “Tantangan dan Peluang Membangun Tatanan Sosial Baru di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19”. Ditambahkan Ratri, konferensi ini akan mempertemukan para akademisi, peneliti, ilmuwan, mahasiswa, dan pemangku kepentingan dari berbagai latar belakang keahlian dan dari berbagai Negara. Mereka akan mempresentasikan, berbagi, dan mengatasi berbagai masalah politik, hukum, pendidikan, dan bidang ilmu sosial lainnya di tengah krisis Covid-19. “Tidak ada negara di dunia ini yang bisa melepaskan diri dari pengaruh pandemic Covid-19, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Mereka adalah Prof Peter Charles Taylor dari Murdoch University Australia, Assoc Prof Dr John McCarthy dari Autralian National University, Dr Shamsuddin L Taya dari Development Academy of Bangsamoro, Filipina.** \n\n**Kemudian Assoc Prof Dr Yusliza Mohd Yusoff dari Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia, dan dari Indonesia ada guru besar Universitas Gadjah Mada Prof Hermin Indah Wahyuni. “Mereka dipastikan akan menjadi keynote speaker  dalam konferensi bulan November mendatang,” ungkap Ratri Candrasari, Kamis (17/9/2020).**\n\n**Menurutnya, konforensi akan membahas tentang berbagai persoalan dan ilmu sosial dan politik, budaya, ekonomi, hukum, dan pendidikan. Tema yang diangkat adalah “Tantangan dan Peluang Membangun Tatanan Sosial Baru di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19”.**      \n\n**Ditambahkan Ratri, konferensi ini akan mempertemukan para akademisi, peneliti, ilmuwan, mahasiswa, dan pemangku kepentingan dari berbagai latar belakang keahlian dan dari berbagai Negara. Mereka akan mempresentasikan, berbagi, dan mengatasi berbagai masalah politik, hukum, pendidikan, dan bidang ilmu sosial lainnya di tengah krisis Covid-19.** \n\n**“Tidak ada negara di dunia ini yang bisa melepaskan diri dari pengaruh pandemic Covid-19, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung.
