| body | There is only one event in the world. Many incidents are extremely common, some incidents are very startling. Today we are going to tell you about some of the world events that are considered very mysterious. Many of these incidents are such that scientific research was done, but the exact reason could not be ascertained. However, it is strange in its own right, but despite the progress of science, the curtains did not get any curtain yet. Let's know about some such incidents. We have taken these incidents through the internet. 1∆. Hanging Zombies. Cooper Family bought an old house in Texas around 1950. During his first night celebration in his house, his father took photographs of the family. In this photo, two children are sitting in the lap of their mother and grandmother. The whole family is horrified after the development of this photo Gaya because in the photo there was also a hanging corpse with the family. It was claimed that there was no such thing at the time of taking the photo. Some people said that it is possible that Negative may have been tampered with, but Cooper Family denied it. Many people tried to know the truth of the photo later, but it still remains a mystery. 2∆. Voicemail Manuscript. It was acquired in 1912 by Wilfrid M. Wynyich, a Polish-born American archaeologist bookseller. Boenisch Manuscript Voynich Manuscript is a complete 240-page book that uses such language and scripts that hardly anyone can read. As you are seeing in the picture, the entire book is full of colorful artwork and odd-looking lines. The kind of plants that are mentioned in the pages is rarely found on this earth. So far, it has not been clear that who is going to write this book. With the help of carbon dating, it has been revealed that the book has been written between 1404-1438. It is known as the world's most mysterious manuscript. Some believe that it would have been designed as a pharmacopeia so that medieval or modern therapeutic subjects can be explained. 3∆. Astronaut of the Solvay Firth. This photo was taken by Jim Templeton, a photographer and local historian in 1964. They took their daughter to 'Soul Firth' in an area in Cambria, England. When the photos were developed, they saw a photographed look like an astronaut. Jim had claimed that there was no one behind his daughter during taking photographs. There was also a lot of debate about this photo. Therefore it is often included in the list of mysterious incidents. 4∆. The secret of Sky Power. A church in St.Pancras suffered a severe thunderstorm in 1638. During this time, a sky lightning struck the church. Because of the afternoon's time, the church was packed with 300 people praying. Four people were killed in it, 60 were badly injured and the building also collapsed. This incident was the first strange dark shadow. The bright light went back after damaging the church and those sitting in it. According to therichest.com, local people had claimed that a devil had done this incident on the call of the jurors. What really happened, speculation is still being made about it. Many researchers tried to go to the bottom of the incident, but they did not even touch anything. 5∆. British Columbia cut shores of beaches. On August 20, 2007, many shattered human legs were found on the shores of the Sea of Selsey. Only some of these could be identified. It was speculated that these feet could be of people killed in a boating accident or a plane crash in the sea. Secondly, these quadrants can be the legs of four people killed in the plane crash of Iceland. No traces were found on the feet, but murder after murder and torture cannot be ruled out. It was also added to the Tsunami in Asia on December 26, 2004. |

| body | In 1998, Wei Dai published a description of "b-money", an anonymous, distributed electronic cash system. Shortly thereafter, Nick Szabo created "bit gold". Like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that would follow it, Bit Gold was an electronic currency system which required users to complete a proof of work function with solutions being cryptographically put together and published. A currency system based on a reusable proof of work was later created by Hal Finney who followed the work of Dai and Szabo. The first decentralized cryptocurrency, bitcoin, was created in 2009 by pseudonymous developer Satoshi Nakamoto. It used SHA-256, a cryptographic hash function, as its proof-of-work scheme. In April 2011, Namecoin was created as an attempt at forming a decentralized DNS, which would make internet censorship very difficult. Soon after, in October 2011, Litecoin was released. It was the first successful cryptocurrency to use scrypt as its hash function instead of SHA-256. Another notable cryptocurrency, Peercoin was the first to use a proof-of-work/proof-of-stake hybrid. IOTA was the first cryptocurrency not based on a blockchain, and instead uses the Tangle. Many other cryptocurrencies have been created though few have been successful, as they have brought little in the way of technical innovation. On 6 August 2014, the UK announced its Treasury had been commissioned to do a study of cryptocurrencies, and what role, if any, they can play in the UK economy. The study was also to report on whether regulation should be considered. |

| body | After the harvest, the grapes are taken into a winery and prepared for primary ferment. At this stage red wine making diverges from white wine making. Red wine is made from the must (pulp) of red or black grapes and fermentation occurs together with the grape skins, which give the wine its color. White wine is made by fermenting juice which is made by pressing crushed grapes to extract a juice; the skins are removed and play no further role. Occasionally white wine is made from red grapes; this is done by extracting their juice with minimal contact with the grapes' skins. Rosé wines are either made from red grapes where the juice is allowed to stay in contact with the dark skins long enough to pick up a pinkish color (maceration or saignée) or by blending red wine with white wine. White and rosé wines extract little of the tannins contained in the skins. To start primary fermentation yeast may be added to the must for red wine or may occur naturally as ambient yeast on the grapes or in the air. Yeast may be added to the juice for white wine. During this fermentation, which often takes between one and two weeks, the yeast converts most of the sugars in the grape juice into ethanol (alcohol) and carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is lost to the atmosphere. After the primary fermentation of red grapes the free run wine is pumped off into tanks and the skins are pressed to extract the remaining juice and wine. The press wine is blended with the free run wine at the winemaker's discretion. The wine is kept warm and the remaining sugars are converted into alcohol and carbon dioxide. The next process in the making of red wine is malo-lactic conversion. This is a bacterial process which converts "crisp, green apple" malic acid to "soft, creamy" lactic acid softening the taste of the wine. Red wine is sometimes transferred to oak barrels to mature for a period of weeks or months; this practice imparts oak aromas and some tannin to the wine. The wine must be settled or clarified and adjustments made prior to bottling. The time from harvest to drinking can vary from a few months for Beaujolais nouveau wines to over twenty years for wine of good structure with high levels of acid, tannin or sugar. However, only about 10% of all red and 5% of white wine will taste better after five years than it will after just one year.[1] Depending on the quality of grape and the target wine style, some of these steps may be combined or omitted to achieve the particular goals of the winemaker. Many wines of comparable quality are produced using similar but distinctly different approaches to their production; quality is dictated by the attributes of the starting material and not necessarily the steps taken during vinification. Variations on the above procedure exist. With sparkling wines such as Champagne, an additional, "secondary" fermentation takes place inside the bottle, dissolving trapped carbon dioxide in the wine and creating the characteristic bubbles. Sweet wines or off-dry wines are made by arresting fermentation before all sugar has been converted into ethanol and allowing some residual sugar to remain. This can be done by chilling the wine and adding sulphur and other allowable additives to inhibit yeast activity or sterile filtering the wine to remove all yeast and bacteria. In the case of sweet wines, initial sugar concentrations are increased by harvesting late (late harvest wine), freezing the grapes to concentrate the sugar (ice wine), allowing or encouraging botrytis cinerea fungus to dehydrate the grapes or allowing the grapes to raisin either on the vine or on racks or straw mats. Often in these high sugar wines, the fermentation stops naturally as the high concentration of sugar and rising concentration of ethanol retard the yeast activity. Similarly in fortified wines, such as port wine, high proof neutral grape spirit (brandy) is added to arrest the ferment and adjust the alcohol content when the desired sugar level has been reached. In other cases the winemaker may choose to hold back some of the sweet grape juice and add it to the wine after the fermentation is done, a technique known in Germany as süssreserve. The process produces wastewater, pomace, and lees that require collection, treatment, and disposal or beneficial use. |

| body | This week CoinDesk released its State of Blockchain Q1 2017 study, which details recent trends, statistics and sentiment around cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. While the entire report is worth a read (there are some surprises), two slides especially caught my attention. When put together and compared with current data, they point to what could be a fundamental shift in market dynamics. https://media.coindesk.com/uploads/2017/06/SOB-sentiment-2-728x410.jpg Ninety-four percent of respondents to our 'Bitcoin and Ethereum Sentiment Survey' indicated that they were positive on the outlook for ethereum – almost three times as many as for bitcoin. The main reasons for the disillusionment with bitcoin appear to be the high fees, the increasing centralization and the outlook for scaling. Interestingly, this has not slowed down the increase in the bitcoin price, which has climbed 160% since the end of Q1. It does, however, point to a growing interest in ethereum as an investment vehicle. The price of the platform's ether token has increased by 420% in the same period. https://media.coindesk.com/uploads/2017/06/SOB-exchanges-2-728x434.jpg This shows that ether purchases in Q1 were largely in bitcoin. Now, why would investors give up bitcoin to buy into ethereum? Either they believe that bitcoin will soon start heading down – slide 62 shows that almost 45% of respondents are negative on the cryptocurrency – or that it could continue to go up, but that ethereum will increase by even more. Either way, we’re looking at an asset reallocation. If you take a look at the ether trading volumes today, though, you see a different picture. The volume of fiat purchases of ether has shot past that of bitcoin to account for approximately 70% of volume (at time of writing). A large part of that growth is due to a jump in interest from South Korea, but US dollar purchases have also increased significantly. This looks like ‘new money’ is coming into cryptocurrencies and choosing ethereum over other alternatives. Bitcoin’s trading volume is also increasing (and still dwarfs that of ethereum), but not by as much. What could this mean? While trading data of a few weeks does not necessarily translate to new market trends, it could hint at a shift in portfolio prominence. While bitcoin has traditionally been the main cryptocurrency holding for both private and institutional portfolios, ether is emerging as a strong contender. One interesting effect from this will most likely be a change in the conversation. It should move from the 'bitcoin isn't money' diatribe, to one of 'what can ethereum do?'. Although over 85% of our survey respondents felt that ether could serve as a currency as well as bitcoin could, it has never worn the currency cloak like bitcoin has. Ether has traditionally been positioned more as a ‘digital token’ that can engage with scripts and contracts, and can be used to enable apps across a wide range of sectors. From an asset allocation and a sentiment perspective, ether’s rise in prominence is encouraging. A shift in focus from threat to innovation would be more constructive for all, and should push development in the cryptocurrency sector even further. |
