In this essay I explain some of the lessons I have learned from the hundreds of hours I have spent on this platform and in the Steem community.\n\nBut first let me say, most of my earnings have come from capital appreciation, i.e. the Steem Power I have earned has gone up in value. In the long run investing in the future is the only way to make big money. Steemit not only facilitates our transition from mere consumers to active producers, but also allows us to transition from being workers to being investors, giving us a stake in the project we are working for and helping to make successful.\n\nI still cringe when I remember the fundraising of Oculus, where they crowdfunded 2 million dollars from everyday people, and then Oculus was bought up by Facebook for 2 billion dollars, and the crowd was left with their perks, t-shirts and an alpha product, instead of getting a stake in the success of the company. Steemit changes this. If Steemit is someday worth billions of dollars like Facebook is now, we will all have a stake in its success, just by working and earning Steem Power.\n\n𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅, 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒓:\n\n𝟏. I recommend writing about what you know. For each post that succeeds with a generic topic there are hundreds that never get upvoted, so whereas most successful posts are in that category, the most unsuccessful ones are as well.\n\nPersonally I write a lot about crypto, since that is a hobby of mine and I am involved in a company called BitSpace. But my education is in philosophy, and much of my interests are in spirituality, so I have also been writing a lot about that. By writing about issues that you know and are passionate about you create actual value instead of trying to copy someone else.\n\n𝟐. It is often easy to hide things from oneself and be dishonest, but in one way or another it will shine through, and people can sense it. It is therefore best to be completely transparent and write in the light of your inner truth.\n\nIn my introduction post I tried to sum up my life story as it relates to how I reached the point of joining Steemit. Just by being honest about your journey people will learn a lot and realize how it is to have an entirely different perspective, and how it is to take what is maybe a completely different path in life.\n\n𝟑. If you can produce something of value that is still creative and original, you have a chance to make it big. Most people follow the template set by other successful posts, and dare not take a chance on a new concept. I would urge you to find your inner creativity, and think completely from scratch with how you can provide value in a post.\n\nIn the beginning I tried to be creative and original with the format and type of content I posted. To some extent, Steemit was like a new game, and everyone was learning the rules and how to do new things. For instance, I posted a post on How to do gambling, Prediction Markets, and Charity on Steemit. I also created a post called Top Wanted Features for Steem. Both of these use the self-referential nature of Steemit to create value by the interplay of post and comments.\n\nAlso think about how your interests may combine into original content suited for Steemit. For instance, while cryptocurrency related content tends to do well on Steemit, my education is in philosophy and my interests are in spirituality, so I created a post that combined all three elements in Decentralize Your Self! that sees links between decentralization in crypto and ego-death in spirituality.\n\n𝟒. On Steemit, you get instant feedback from votes and comments, so you need to learn and adapt according to how the audience responds to you content. For instance, most of the time, posting a link with little or no text gets no upvotes, and you may notice the more time you spend on a post and the more original content it contains, the easier it is to get upvoted.\n\nFor each of my successful posts I have five that have failed. It is not easy to predict in advance what will get really popular, so just keep posting, keep trying, and adjust your strategy underway. As I said in the introduction, Steem Power is an investment in the future, and the earlier you get in, and the more successful the platform is, the more you get for your investment. In addition, as the competition heats up it will be more difficult to get noticed and establish a presence.\n\nThis means that you shouldn’t save your best content for last. It also means don’t let perfectionism be the enemy of your productivity.       "body": "গল্প (রক্ত তৃষা) - পর্ব ০২\n\n\nhttps://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVgrE5hH3qEktwytmoEiF4pWZyUzdmQdzinSba9bddC5z/Screenshot%202024-03-22%20205750.png)\n\nhttps://sites.google.com/view/earn5000in1minute/home\n\nরমেশবাবু বুড়োকে তাঁর বিপদের কথা সংক্ষেপে বুঝিয়ে বললেন । এও জানালেন যে এই রাতের মতো একটা যেমন তেমন কোনো রকম আশ্রয় পেলেই তাঁর চলবে । রাতের খাওয়া দাওয়ার কোনো দরকার নেই । কিন্তু, হেমন্তের এই হিম রাতে সারা রাত প্ল্যাটফর্মের বেঞ্চিতে বসে রাত কাটানো খুবই কষ্টদায়ক ।\n\nবুড়ো চুপ করে কিছুক্ষণ তাঁর কথা শুনলো । তারপরে ভাঙা ঘড়ঘড়ে গলায় টেনে টেনে গ্রাম্য ভাষায় যা বললো তার মর্মার্থ হলো গ্রামের এই দিকটায় তেমন বাড়িঘর নেই । স্টেশনের এই দিকটা গ্রামের একদম শেষ প্রান্ত । এখান থেকে প্রায় মাইল দু'য়েক দূরে মনুষ্যবসতি শুরু । বুড়ো একলা মাঠের ধারের একটা ভাঙা জরাজীর্ন পুরোনো বাড়িতে তার মেয়েকে নিয়ে থাকে । কাছাকাছি আর কোনো জনবসতি নেই । বাবুর যদি মন চায় তো আজকের রাতের মতো তার ভাঙাচোরা ঘরে অতিথি হতে পারেন ।\n\nএই কথা শুনে রমেশবাবু যেনো হাতে স্বর্গ পেলেন । সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বুড়োর কথায় তিনি রাজি হয়ে গেলেন । বললেন -\n\n\"বাঁচালেন মশাই, এই রাতে কোনোরকমে একটা জায়গায় মাথা গোঁজার ঠাঁই পেলেই আমি বর্তে যাই ।\"\n\n-\"চলুন তবে বাবু আমার বাড়িতে। ...\", বুড়ো খুব আন্তরিকভাবে বললো ।\n\nরমেশবাবু বুড়োর পিছুপিছু মেঠো পথ দিয়ে হাঁটতে লাগলেন । কেরোসিনের টেমির ঝাপসা আলোয় রাস্তা ঘাটের অন্ধকার তো কাটেইনি, বরং আরো যেনো জমাট বেঁধেছে । সেই অন্ধকার রাতে একরকম অন্ধের মতো হোঁচট খেতে খেতে রমেশবাবু বুড়োর পিছু চলতে লাগলেন । আকাশে আজ চাঁদ নেই, তাহলেও হয়তো এই নিকষ কালো আঁধারের কিছুমাত্র অংশ তরল করতে পারতো না । বাতাসে বেশ হিম আজ, রমেশবাবু টের পেলেন তাঁর বেশ শীত করছে ।\n\nকালো কালো জমাটবাঁধা ঝুপসি গাছপালার নীচ দিয়ে সরু পায়েচলা মেঠোপথ ধরে চলছে তারা । ঝোপেঝাড়ে দু'একটা জোনাকি পোকা জ্বলছে । মাঝে মাঝে হু হু করে উত্তরে হিমেল হাওয়া এসে সর্বাঙ্গ কাঁপিয়ে দিচ্ছে । সহসা দূরে কোথাও মানুষের বাচ্চার গলায় কারা যেন তীব্রভাবে কেঁদে উঠলো । মানুষের বাচ্চা তো নয়ই, এখানে কোথাও মনুষ্য বসতি নেই । অথচ নির্ভুল মানুষের বাচ্চার গলা । তবে, স্বরটা আরো বেশি তীব্র আর সরু ।\n\nদারুন আতঙ্কে জমে গেলেন রমেশবাবু ।\n\n-\"ও ওটা কী ? কে কাঁদছে অমন ভয়ানক ভাবে ?\"\n\nছাইয়ের মতো ফ্যাকাসে হয়ে গিয়েছে রমেশবাবুর মুখ ।\n\nবুড়ো টেমি ধরা হাতে থমকে ফিরে দাঁড়ালো । আর তারপরে, সহসা হেসে ফেললো ফোঁকলা দাঁতে ।\n\n[চলবে]",

      "body": "গল্প (রক্ত তৃষা) - পর্ব ০১\n\n![Screenshot 2024-03-22 205750.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVgrE5hH3qEktwytmoEiF4pWZyUzdmQdzinSba9bddC5z/Screenshot%202024-03-22%20205750.png)\n\nhttps://sites.google.com/view/earn5000in1minute/home\n\nট্রেন থেকে নেমেই রমেশবাবু টের পেলেন পাড়াগাঁয়ে রাত্রির অন্ধকার আসলে কেমন হয় । আজীবন কলকাতায় মানুষ, আলো ঝলমলে রাতে আঁধার বেশ তরলই থাকে সেখানে। কিন্তু, পাড়াগেঁয়ে এমন ঘুরঘট্টি অমাবস্যার রাত দেখে তিনি একদম হাঁ হয়ে গেলেন । রাত্রির অন্ধকারের যে এমন ভবাবহ রূপ হয় তা তিনি এই প্রথম প্রত্যক্ষ করলেন ।\n\nবেশ ছিলেন ভালোই ছিলেন, কেন যে মরতে এক বন্ধুর কথায় রাজি হয়ে ব্যবসায় নামলেন ! এখন লাও ঠ্যালা সামলাও । বাংলার শেষ সীমায় ঝাড়খণ্ডের সীমান্তে এই শালবনের ইজারা সংক্রান্ত কাজে এখানে আসা । তিনি কাঠের সাপ্লায়ার । পথে যে ট্রেন এতো লেট করবে তা কে জানতো । লাইন মেরামতির কাজের জন্য প্রায় ঢিকোতে ঢিকোতে সন্ধ্যা ৬ টায় পৌঁছনোর পরিবর্তে রাত সাড়ে ন'টায় এসে পৌঁছেছে ।\n\nট্রেন থেকে নেমেই তাই একরকম দিশেহারা হয়ে পড়লেন । প্ল্যাটফর্মের এ মাথা থেকে ও মাথা অব্দি তন্নতন্ন করে খুঁজলেন, কিন্তু কাউকেই পেলেন না। যার তাঁকে রিসিভ করতে আসার কথা ছিল, সে হয় আসেনি, নতুবা এতো দেরি দেখে চলে গিয়েছে । তখন তো আর আজকের মতো মোবাইল ফোন ছিল না যে কল করে দেবেন । রমেশবাবু তাই ভারী বিপদে পড়লেন ।\n\nকোনো উপায় না দেখলে শেষমেষ স্টেশনের বেঞ্চিতে বসে রাতটা কাটিয়ে দেবেন, এমনই একটা সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে ফেললেন রমেশবাবু । এমন সময় দেখলেন কেরোসিনের টেমি হাতে একটা বুড়ো লোক হালকা খুঁড়িয়ে খুঁড়িয়ে প্লাটফর্ম থেকে নেমে গাঁয়ের মেঠো পথে ধরছে । শেষ আশা হিসেবে রমেশবাবু দৌড়ে বুড়োর কাছাকাছি গিয়ে তাকে ডাকলেন ।\n\nবুড়ো তাঁর ডাকে সাড়া দিয়ে তাঁর দিকে ফিরে তাকালো । বয়সের ভারে ন্যুব্জ দেহ, অসংখ্য বলিরেখা ফুটে উঠেছে তার মুখের সর্বত্র । নিতান্তই গেঁয়ো মানুষ । রমেশবাবু তাকে সব খুলে বললেন । কেরোসিন টেমির অস্পষ্ট ধোঁয়া-ওঠা আলোয় বুড়োর চোখ দু'টো যেনো ধক করে জ্বলে উঠলো । কিন্তু, পরক্ষণেই আবার সেই ঘোলাটে চোখ দেখতে পেলেন রমেশবাবু, বয়সের কারণে চোখের উপরের চামড়া ঝুলে এসে চোখ প্রায় বুজিয়ে দিয়েছে । তাহলে কি ভুল দেখলেন তিনি ?\n\n[চলবে]",
