It's possible in some circumstances to change very little and still be able to win a fair use defense, and in other circumstances to change a lot and still be found to have infringed the copyright. I encourage you to study how it actually works, and maybe ask a copyright attorney. In fact, I happen to know of [Leonard French](https://www.youtube.com/user/ljfrench009), an attorney who talks a lot about copyright (including fair use) and other topics, as well as various cases in the news, on his YouTube channel.\n\nThat said, the DMCA is being abused a lot. Something needs to be done to stop that abuse. Lenz v Universal was a step in the right direction, but I don't think it actually did as much as it could have. It's even worse when people make DMCA claims that are completely invalid, as e.g. someone did sometime back to Imagos Softworks and quite a number of their fans. At least they got a positive resolution, but a lot of damage was already done.",

      "body": "Unfortunately, this fails, because DTube videos are only hosted as long as the Steem rewards last. (Mind you, the storage costs aren't much at all, and according to what they said, a typical video can be retained for many months on just a few cents.) Since no one upvoted within 7 days, it got no rewards, and thus is now not being hosted. The video is gone, as a quick IPFS request will show. DTube videos technically can't be censored, but they can disappear for lack of popularity, or if they stop being hosted for some other reason. It's completely unsuitable for serious archiving.",

And I increased the speed of the modem simulation to ~4800 bps, since I decided 1200 was too slow and might cause problems in the castle. (Actually, I think 4800-bps modems were less common, but I didn't want to go to 9600.) Turns out it wasn't that much of an issue, but I liked the faster speed.\n\nWe enter a castle under a mountain, where we see the same dreamy fantasy world... or not. And I increased the speed of the modem simulation to ~4800 bps, since I decided 1200 was too slow and might cause problems in the castle. (Actually, I think 4800-bps modems were less common, but I didn't want to go to 9600.) Turns out it wasn't that much of an issue, but I liked the faster speed.\n\nWe enter a castle under a mountain, where we see the same dreamy fantasy world... or not. In fact, the tone takes a decidedly cynical turn as we get deep inside.\n\nOh, and there's a nasty dragon inside, although not really as dangerous as he's made out to be. Although he can inflict physical harm, he's unlikely to one-hit kill you as long as you stay healed, there's a good chance he'll teleport away even if you just stand there and do nothing, and all you have to do to escape is move one room away.\n\nMore things *The Legend of Kyrandia* \"borrowed\":\n* A large castle that has been abandoned. Well, maybe we can let this one go, seeing as lots and LOTS of fantasy settings include castles.\n* Someone named Brin (except this one is male, with an accordingly different spelling).\n* Surprisingly not much else from this castle, even though *LoK* has a large castle in it as well.\n\nThe cryptogram in the odd-shaped cave:\n\nHQOFOWY ASITPQNM IFQNPYTUVC QOTMAY GIOEM LOOPAS ASIT, ILLIADA FALGORIA SIMAJF. Anyone?\n\nSimilar elements to *The Legend of Kyrandia* seen in this episode:\n* A silver altar, although this one is used for the birthstone puzzle instead of being an amulet dispenser\n* A spring, but no sunstone hidden in the stream\n* A dead wooded glade, though the puzzle there is completely different\n* A Tree of Rubies, complete with snake ready to strike\n* Pine cones, but not lying on the ground\n* A magical fountain, without a statue\n* Bushes that are magically on fire, in this case a whole thicket\n* A brook that may have something hidden in it, but I'm sure it's not a sunstone, since that's not one of the gemstones in this game\n* A tree with a singing bird in it, but no puzzle associated with it AFAIK\n* A grave, but again no puzzle\n* A stump\n* A lagoon, with some association with Pegasus\n* A waterfall (two actually), though with no rainbow described\n\nThat's 13 more things in less than an hour, and this LP is just getting started. On the other hand, note the number of things unique to this game.\n\nIf you're wondering why the text is now green instead of cyan, I have no idea either. On the other hand, note the number of things unique to this game.\\n\\nIf you're wondering why the text is now green instead of cyan, I have no idea either.
