I've just finished building my first website.\nhttp://g4gold.co.uk\n\nThe intention is to facilitate newer members of the Cryptocurrency community by providing a number of useful links that will help them get Started with investing in Cryptocurrency. \n\nThe website is just the bare minimum at the moment with links to Coinbase, Wallets and a few exchanges but I plan on adding a whole lot more to it. Tutorials, podcasts and a shop for mining and staking hardware are my first priorities, Ill even promote Steemit on there too.\n\nAs far as Steemit goes I think ill be using it less for personal blogs and more for helping people. I don't play as often as I used to because of my involvement with Crypto but I can never pass up on playing SCOOP. Any serious online poker player is familiar with SCOOP because of the massive prize pools, but what makes SCOOP so interesting to me is the varied buy in levels. \n\nFor anyone new to poker SCOOP is held on the biggest poker site in the world, Pokerstars. It has always offered big prizepools for low buy-ins because of the sheer amount of players online at any given time. Regular tournaments with thousands of players run everyday and on any given Sunday its just madness, with tournaments of player counts in excess of 20,000 players. Now SCOOP, well SCOOP is like Sunday, everyday for a solid month and on a SCOOP Sunday, there isn't even words. It's genuinely a sight to behold!\n\nAs I said before the thing that makes SCOOP so amazing is the varied buy in levels. The tournaments range from $2.20 to $25,000 yeah! 25k yep... so there is something for everyone and what makes it even better is the colossal amount of satellite tournaments for every single event. \n\n### Lowest\n![low1.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmS1uum69vtwDE4J9mJGxM3hQ8n8vgeHwjGX7X6fAVhgsY/low1.png)\n\n### Highest\n![high1.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbotXDakykQSi5Y1fDVZeHE8gL2MdhkAAmxdZkRhAvxkd/high1.png)\n\nFor newbies a satellite is a tournament where the prize is an entry or a seat in a bigger tournament. For example if you wanted to play in an $11 tournament but didn't want to risk all $11 you could play a $1.10 satellite and if you place in the top 10% you would win an entry to the $11 tournament. \n\nSo this really makes it amazing, genuinely anyone could be playing for serious money, even life changing money for a  small investment. \n\nSmall disclaimer alert!\nObviously with all high reward ventures there is a high risk. I would never suggest playing with more than you are perfectly OK to lose but if you want to take a gamble with online poker, this would be the most exciting time of the year to do so, in my opinion but honeslty it should just be seen as an entertainment cost. Any good poker player understands good bankroll management and in doing so understand the risk of playing these insanely high risk tournaments. Be responsible!\n\nIf  however you decide to have a spin at the tables.       "body": "I've been on Steemit for over a year but really I've only used it for a small fraction of that time. \n\nEverytime I remember about it, I instantly regret my lack of involvement. I mean the people on here are much more like myself than any other social platform. The fact that most of you even know what Bitcoin is, already sets the Steemit community miles ahead of the general population in my book. \n\nI'm writing this as a bit of a note to self but I intend on posting more and more here. I already create different pieces of content not just about Crypto but just general hobbies and interests and I would like to share them with you. I've also just started streaming again on Twitch so I intend on posting on Steemit before my live streams. \n\nSince I haven't been on here in ages, 4 months I think. I don't expect much interaction from my already existing followers so I'm kind of treating this as a fresh start.\n\n I'll not bore yous with my introduction again. I just ask that if you are already following me to stay tuned as more frequent content will be arriving soon and if your not following me this is your chance to get in early lol.\n\nTo end this post I would like to leave an opinion on why I think Steemit is looking more and more attractive for investors and as a social media platform itself.\n\nOne of the reasons I keep being reminded of Steemit is the Market Cap. Everytime I look on Coinmarketcap I keep seeing Steemit, staying strong always chilling around the 30's . Then I go onto Steemit and the same people are still posting regularly content and haven't taken a break lol, just grinding it out producing daily content for the readers and keeping the ecosystem flowing along nicely(respect to you guys). \n\nThe last thing I've noticed is the continuous innovation on the platform. Dtube, eSteem etc. \n\nAlthough at first it doesn't appear to have changed a lot of the last year.       "body": "If you check https://www.coinmarketcap.com right now you might have seen the prices have dropped significantly from last night.\nOne of the things I noticed is the prices from the Korean exchanges have been excluded from the average taken from by coinmarket cap. The entire rigs power consumption is ~ 500w \n\nOne of the main dilemmas for a miner is what coin to mine. It seems most people just mine Ethereum or Zcash and why not, they are two great coins with a big market cap, excellent teams and a strong support from investors, the prices are high and don't look they're going anywhere anytime soon. \n\nI however have decided to take a different approach with my hash power. I have decided to mine the smaller market cap coins with a smaller difficult and a high return of full coins. \n\nThe fact my set up is still very small and my hash rate doesn't go very far mining these giants ETH, ZCASH, XMR etc. Probably affected my decision to do so in the beginning  but now I actually see a lot of merit in this strategy.\n\nThe name of the game for me is to make as much money as possible and I believe to do so means implementing a higher risk strategy. \n\nFor example when I started mining Ethereum was around $300, actually it was lower for a month or so but approximately $300. It's now worth almost $1000 after a big run up this week.  It takes me a week to mine 0.1 eth with my 100mh/s so over six months I would mine 2.4 eth.\n If I held all of them it would be worth 2.4k and thats being generous in Eths favour.\n\nSo to compare to some of the smaller coins I've mined.\n\nUBIQ I can mine 30 per week @ time of mining $1.10 now worth $6.76\n\nKomodo I can mine 15 per week @ time of mining  $2.15 now worth $10\n\nEthereum classic I can mine 1.5 per week @ time of mining $10 now worth $35\n\nAt the time each of these coins were making almost the same profit as Ethereum per week but these coins have all increased their market cap by 3.5 - 6 times, in the same amount of time ETH has only tripled it's Marketcap.  \nMaking each of these coins a more profitable decision to have mined until this point.\nAlso these coins still, relative to ETH,  have a small market cap which means they still have a lot of room to grow and can explode in price easier than the likes of ETH.\n\nUBIQ and ETC that I've mentioned above can dual mine with PASC another small market cap coin that I mine which has went from $0.30 to $4.65 in the same time frame. So out of the list of coins I've mentioned the most profitable coins to have mined over the last 6 months would have been UBIQ + PASC both very small market cap coins that exploded in the last month.\nActually double the profitability of mining Ethereum and since these coins have exploded I personally take some profit to reduce variance and buy the top market cap coins. BTC, ETH etc.  Also some of the POS coins that cant be mined QTUM, NEO etc.\n\nSo I suggest everyone point some of their hash power towards these small market cap coins, and take profit once you have made more than the everyday ETH & ZCash miners. \n\n\nIt is a higher risk strategy but if you want to make more than everyone else you have to do something different.\n\nTake a look at some of the smaller market cap coins that have big potential..
