      "body": "Following the first part of this work, this second part goes further to talk about why we need to be deliberate about our lives, discovering ourselves, identifying and taking opportunities are some of things that being deliberate will fetch us in life as we are going to see below.\n![download.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTtnZ8w1WLuxDGnnCcuR4RLYRU2tsrVSZb3Yqpe6icC9J/download.jpg)\n\nThere comes a time in life where we remove ourselves from the strings of our parents, no matter how wealthy they are, we always want to carve a personal niche for ourselves, so we go out to make our own name and create our own way, at this point in our life, the act of being conscious and deliberate about our action is of the utmost importance and that is why the first point to be discussed would be identifying ourselves. The first important thing a person is tasked with in life is knowing herself, immediately you’re off age, whether by law or by design, you’re tasked with knowing what is good you’re good for and what is good for you and this is the process where you begin to identify the person you are and the purpose to which you are that person. This stage of life is where so many people get it wrong because they fail to be conscious and deliberate in finding themselves. There are unique qualities that informs the purpose that a person carries, these unique qualities are not always the most obvious and the clearest things about us, but they are always there, manifesting in small part and showing influences on us at all time, for this uniqueness to be cultivated, we need to identify them and groom them into qualities that would make us achieve our purpose in life. The only way for a person to identify and groom this uniqueness is to be conscious of one self. We need to be deliberate in assessing our life all the time in order to really identify who we are. You are not a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant, a pastor or a musicians, these are either titles we’ve been given or acquired one way or the other, but there is something that is unique about being that lawyer, that doctor, accountant, musician or a pastor, that uniqueness is who we really are and without it we are just another person stuck in a professional web or stuck in the circle of life doing what we are told to do. We cannot discover this uniqueness by being blind to ourselves, by living life as it comes without any form of calculation and consciousness of ourselves. We need to study the traits that we display without being told to, without struggling for it and we have to determine which category they belong to, negative or positive, then we need to groom the positive aspect of it to pursue and fulfil the purpose which we were created for. Until you identify who you truly are, you are just another number in the headcount of life making up the world population. Men that lives without fulfillment often times are not the ones who didn’t have money or the things they want in life but the ones who has failed to discover themselves, because without self-discovery there is no purpose and without a purpose life is a wasted adventure. So many time we misguide and limit our opinion about not making it in life to money and materials things alone, but we forget that there are so many rich men that do not want their own children to be like them, they want them to be better even with all the riches, why? Because not making it in life goes beyond the materials and the money but goes deep down into know who you’re, pursing it and fulfilling it and a man who has not achieved this in his lifetime is the real description of not making it in life. The act of being deliberate and conscious helps you identify the hidden uniqueness about yourself and how to groom them into achievement but when you just live without being conscious, living freely, you will miss this important uniqueness and then life becomes more and more tedious later on.\nWhat comes next after knowing yourself is growing yourself and for a person to grow in life, you need opportunities and this is one of the qualities and advantage that being conscious and being deliberate offers you. Thus, our second point of discussion is identifying and taking opportunities. Just as it was stated earlier, a person after knowing who he is and ready to groom his uniqueness needs opportunities to do this growing and in life opportunities comes at all time in different form in a way where if you’re not conscious of what you want most of these opportunities would be missed. So many people only identify an opportunity when someone else tells them that it is one, but for someone who wants to grow and achieve purpose in life, you must be conscious enough to identify opportunities and take them when they present themselves. Of course, this cannot be done by someone who has not identify who he is, this is why one these first two point goes hand in hand. A person who doesn’t know who he is would not know what he needs to achieve the purpose he hasn’t even find, thus, identifying and taking opportunities through the act of being conscious and deliberate is a tool that can be used by a man who has gone through the first process which is self-discovery. Opportunities comes and appears in several manners and in different places in different forms, to identify all these, you need to be attentive, you need to be conscious and also access everything deliberately. Your consciousness makes you identify various opportunity because being conscious about everything and your action keep you aware and being deliberate helps you take and use these opportunities. Often time people are conscious enough to identify there is an opportunity but are not deliberate enough about their action to seize and make use of such opportunities. Often times people identify opportunities and go ahead to let people sway them off what they’ve identified because they’re not deliberate enough about what they want to do with such, they just want to try and see or give it some time and see whether people are right about it or whether it will work out. At the first sign of challenge they give up on the opportunity and this because their actions right from the moment that opportunity was presented has not been deliberate, they were only “trying to see”. Someone who understand the principle of being conscious and the act of being deliberate works and seize opportunities with a defined plan and not a person that is just hooping along to see if and how it would work. People that are not deliberate finds it hard to achieve results because challenges appears to them like failure and they stop trying before they even fail and since they don’t fail, they don’t learn and since they don’t learn there is nothing to apply in pursuing the next opportunity and they end up being on the same mediocre point for so long that stagnancy feels normal to them. If you want to go far in life, you need to live everyday being conscious of the tiniest details about how your day is because inside the bits are some things that can propel you to achieve your purpose in life and when you identify these bits, you need to be deliberate about the actions you’re taking next and not just working on maybe or because people says. Nobody is asking you to put all the piece together at once, but you must put some pieces together to move forward.\nstay glued and look forward to subsequent part. God bless you all.",

For the purpose of this work, this is would be the short definition we would be using for our topic. Being alert and having knowledge of what is going on around or with you defines your consciousness and the level of your consciousness would determine how deliberate you are or would be about your actions and the things you do. Life did not just happen, life was a conscious and deliberate effort of our creator, things does not just happen, people put in conscious and deliberate effort into making things happen. We live in a time where we leave mostly everything to chance. Let us take the life of an average person growing up for example, you are taught to work hard, focus and be disciplined in whatever you do, you’re taught to listen to teachers in school, elders in the community, pastors/imam in the religious homes and always keep good company, you go to school to study a course which often time is influenced not by what you know or think is the best for you but by what your parents think or how they influence you, then follow a path from there, from what the teachers says to what the employers says by the time you’re out of the schools and often time, millions of people follow these routine because it has been embedded in the society they grew up in and not because they sit to come to a conclusion or make a deliberate and a conscious analysis of what they need, how things evolve with them and how everything else around them will work for them, they just do the thing they have/need to do in order to get by and fit in the circle that has been created for them. The only way to be something real, something you would identify as yourself or yours is by being deliberate about the things you do, without this all everyone is left with is are the particles sprinkled from everywhere by everyone into your life.\nYour life is not yours until you have the required level of that awareness that gives you the consciousness required to be deliberate about every action you take each day. We live in a time where people put much more of themselves into being deliberate and conscious of all the wrong things around us while they give little or nothing into being calculative about the things that will give their life the purpose that they were created for, parties, girls, enjoyment and much more are the things people dedicate more time to be conscious about as against the real things that will make their life better. For a life that wants to be driven by purpose, you must take out the effort to be conscious and deliberate about the important things in your life. People follow other most times not because they choose to be followers as against pursuing and fulfilling their own purpose in life but because they’ve not taken their time to consciously and deliberately choose anything at all, so they fall along with everything.\nThe real actions come with the conscious and deliberate effort and not relying on luck, you make your own luck by sticking out to what you want and deliberately pursuing such, leaving life to chance is not what winners do and that is why in this work, effort is being dedicated to make us understand the useful of us being conscious and deliberate about life.       "body": "If you have been following and reading my blog post, you will discover there has been a sequel on this heading that I have been working on, today this piece represent the last part to the sequel and its not just very powerful but brings a clinical and enlightening conclusion to the sequel. When you understand this fact, it will aid you in not getting stuck on a spot. Asking is a principle that growth demands, it a necessity, begging on the other hand is mostly done without the purpose of growth. A hungry man with purpose and plan to grow will ask for capital to start a business and keep asking until he gets an answer somewhere, on the other hand a beggar will beg for money to buy food and eat and come back the next day and the next one to ask for more money for food. It is important to note that beggars are restrictive in nature, they are always begging from something to fill their belly, something that will last for today alone, something that doesn’t cover the field, a person that understand the process and the art of asking as a principle of growth understandings that he is asking for substances and content that will build a lifetime, and not substance like money to spend on trivial things like a beggar will do. Beggar do not have plans to grow, beggars are always stuck on the spot and want something from their target and if they don’t get what they want, they turn down on themselves on everything, it becomes an uphill task for them to move forward. A beggar is at the mercy of the people he/she is begging from, we already examined the fact that the trust of the person asking is not rooted in the people he is asking from but in the process of the art of asking as a principle of growth.\nThere is also differences between the art of asking and demanding. This flows into the point we made on not getting stuck on a spot when you’re asking. When you’re asking you already understand that getting an answer from a particular person you asked from is not your right, it’s not something you’re entitled to, your concern is more rooted in the process and getting an answer from someone, sometimes in the process of asking. This means when you’re asking, you’re not demanding or trying to force answers from people you’re asking from. When you act like you have a right, or you’re above the person or you have leverage on the person, you’re not asking, you’re demanding. A person that is asking do not use the threat of a higher advantage on anybody he is asking from, the process of asking does not involve the extraction of answers through means that are note entirely peaceful and voluntary. \nBe specific. The people you’re asking are not in the best position to know what you need in order to grow, the purpose of you asking is for you to be able to develop your life and grow to fulfill your purpose, thus, you’re the only person who knows the best ingredient for you to grow. “I can do anything” as an answer to a question asking you “what you can do” amounts to you saying you can do nothing. In the same vein, “I’ll take anything you could give” is begging and not asking. Being specific in the art of asking as a principle and tool for your growth is why you need to have figured out what your purpose is and your plans to fulfill your purpose before you use the tool of asking. When you’re vague in the process of asking, you do yourself more damage than when you do not ask. This is because the people you asked vaguely without being specific about what you need from them will further refer to you as a joker and mediocre, this would not be the kind of description you want them to give of you. When you use Numbers and you’re Being specific about what you need to grow it will be easier for people to give what you’ve asked of them, because they wouldn’t need extra effort and analysis in determining what you need what you’re asking them for. These happens all the time, you ask people for something and their first question is, what are you going to do with this? If you fail to answer the question, then you have fail a step in the principle of asking as a principle of growth. Figure out who you are, figure out your plans and be specific about what you need to reach your goals.\nWe’ve considered asking the right people/source and not being shy to admit when you’re asking from the wrong people/source and move on, but we must also understand that when we use the tool of asking as a principle of growth, moving one does not involve Burning bridges. Whatever response you get from a particular person/source, you must not forget that your trust and hope is not anchored on the person or that particular source but the process of asking. If a source says NO to you, this doesn’t mean you have to tag such as your enemy, cut ties and swear revenge against them. Only Jesus can walk on waters so why burn bridges. \nWhen you ask, be ready to receive. People ask for a Range Rover but only prepare a parking space for a bicycle. You need to be prepare for the opportunities that the process of asking will present to you, the aim is to ask and receive and be a source to others that will further ask you, the aim is to use this tool of asking as a ladder of growth, so you must be prepare to grow when you start using the tool of asking. Use the tool to grow your network, build new relationships and achieve your goals in life. Remember nobody is an island and nobody has ever done it on their own. There is a popular saying in Yoruba that means “the person that ask for directions will never miss his way.”\nAsk and it shall be given you.",

It is when a man is not driven by his purpose that he will be hired to build on another man’s purpose.\nFor a person to be purpose driven the first thing that must be done is for the person to be aware of his purpose in life, someone who is not aware of his purpose in life cannot be driven by it and a person who is not driven by purpose in life cannot live a fulfilled life.\nA person who has not identified his purpose in life has nothing to work towards, everything being done by such person at that time is being done in a vacuum and does not have a foundation of a why. The only way you can get the necessary HOW is if you have developed a powerful WHY. Your powerful WHY in life is your purpose, once you’re aware of this, the necessary know how as to how to achieve it would be clearer to you because you are now working towards a know destination and every step you take is calculated towards achieving that purpose, now you can be properly driven.\nIn life, too many people know what they are running from but cannot identify what they are running towards, people put money at the center of their lives and run towards money but when gotten feel an empty vacuum that requires more than finances to fill, this is why in our lives, purpose should be at the center of what we run towards. \nA person without the awareness of his/her purpose in life is the person that starts so many things without finishing any. Myles Monroe said: there is something for you to start that is ordained for you to finish. This can only happen when you’re aware of the purpose you’re built for in life. You cannot live without the right aim in life and achieve the right results for life.\nThe real freedom of life comes from being soaked into something that you’re made for and that is made for you, without this, we only live in captivity both with our body and our mind because what the body demonstrates it’s the interpretation of what the mind produces. Without our purpose, we will live in captivity for the rest of our lives.\nTrue happiness only comes from pursuing your purpose in life, the adrenaline, the urge, the pure joys that follows life only come when the body, spirit and soul is in pursuit of what they are meat for. We see so many unfulfilled people today with so much money and assets but remain unfulfilled because they’ve failed to realize and fulfilled their real purpose in life.\nGod will provide the necessary tools for you to achieve your purpose in life once you’re pursuing it.\nI am going to round up by telling you not to just work yourself but work yourself with purpose. So many people just passed through life without living because they failed to realize their purpose in life. If you spend more time thinking about the problem than you take to think about a valid solution, you will only end up magnifying the problem, and a single problem when magnified brings along other ones, this way, people get trapped in the web of problems lamenting why they are having those problems instead of solving them.\nMy addition to this is, dwell less on the problem and spend more time analyzing what could solve it.\nPeace be unto all.",

This is an important point for everybody to note when asking. It was never stated anywhere how many times or how many people you should or you can ask before you get an answer, therefore, there is no need to stop asking until you get what you are asking for. The number of times you ask will not matter at the end of the day when you get what you want. Number should boost your chances of getting an answer and not serve as deterrence to you when you’re practicing the art of asking as a principle of growth. When you are practicing the art of asking as a principle of growth you must let your quality be in quantities. This means you must ask as many people you know or believe have the ability to give you what you are asking. The number doesn’t boost your chances if you’re asking the people you should not ask as that would be quantities without quality. Who to ask, why and what to look for was briefly addressed in the introductory part of this work. We must learn to use number to our advantage when we are practicing the art of asking as a principle of growth and must not allow it to serve as discouragement to us. Your ability to keep asking is very important if you want to get good results.\n\nDo not get stuck. This is the second point for everybody to note when asking, and it is important this serve as the next point discussed after Numbers because it further underline the importance of having quality in good numbers when you are practicing the art of asking as a principle of growth. We have underline the fact that there is no commandment as to how many times or people you can ask when you are asking, and now you must also understand that it is not necessary you get an answer or wait forever for one when you’re asking. Keeping it moving don’t get stuck. People get stuck because they put their hope in the people they are asking from. This is a quick way to get yourself depressed, your hope should be in the fact that you’ve ask, the fact that you’re asking and this is why is it important for you to use Numbers. People are going to disappoint you, but the fact that you keep asking underline your faith in the process and your commitment to get an answer through the process of asking and not from a particular person, if you know this, you will not get stuck weighing all your hopes on somebody and you will eventually get the answers you need in other to grow. Trust the process, use the numbers and always keep it moving till you get something positive out of the process of asking as a principle of growth. It is important not to be shy to admit that you’re asking from the wrong source/person, when you discover you’re asking from the wrong person/source, admit it and move on. As much as growth need asking, growth also requires moving forward.",

If you want to leave outside of the norms, you must be able to put up the  right attitude to never say never.\nAttitude is what makes people settle for average when they have the potentials to be excellent, doing the great things demands a great and a positive attitude.\nImpossible are impossible because you think that way and not because somebody has not done that thing you think its impossible before, and even if nobody has done it before, if you have the right attitude, you can be the record breaker. This principle is what everybody knows but still are guilty of not following it in details as it's suppose to be followed.\nOn your road to success and self fulfillment in life, the first ingredient that has to be present is yourself (You). Nobody can or would live your life for you, if you're not present to ask for what you need to grow, even the people that are around to help you would act on their own knowledge and help you with things that you do not need instead of the ones you need, because you've delegated the decision making in your life to them, instead of you being there for yourself to make these decisions for yourself. Many people are disconnected from themselves, they do not have enough time for themselves, they do not make decision for themselves, they invest so little into themselves but still complain day in day out about how they are not growing in life. The fact remains that without you, you cannot grow in life. Sometimes, people set their life in motion and that is all they would do, they expect other people around them to help them drive their lives forward, they refuse to take charge of the wheel, many delegated this to their spouse, parents, friends and some total strangers, these people can know a little about what you want, but the only person on earth that know what is best for you is you.\nSo many people make the mistake of growing their work, their job, don't get me wrong, I am not asking you to quit your job so that you  can work on yourself, but any job that doe not offer you self fulfillment and development in life is no the kind of job that is worth sticking with.\nThere are so many things we do personally in life to develop ourselves, no one will do these things for you, no one would read that book and understand it for you, no one  would make that self developing research on your behalf, everybody is busy pursuing one thing or the other that has nothing to do with developing your own personal life, so you cannot delegate you to someone else. An Irish proverb said; you've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was. No matter your background in life, self development can only be don by you. This principle applies to everybody’s life and it does both in physical and spiritual realm, I am not a pastor, trust me not to do the work of your religious fathers, you still need them as this work will be confined to the physical aspect of the principle of asking. For a person to become that which he aim to become in life, it is imperative that the person seek to grow in all aspect of his life, an as no man is an island, you need people to help you on your quest to grow in life, some of the times, the people that will help you grow in life are not the people that you know today, and some are the ones that you know currently, but as the case may be, none of these aforementioned group of people can really determine on their own what you need for you to grow, you are in the best position to know that, thus, in order for them to help you grow, the first responsibility is for you to ask these people to help you in whichever way that you need their help and now it would be left for them to determine whether they will help you or not. There are couple of points we are going to look at in this write up as applicable to asking as a principle of growth. It is imperative that we note it from the onset that asking it’s imperative for growth and if you cannot ask, you will not grow.\nOne of the question that will come to mind when we talk about asking is who do I ask? A lot of people think the best people to ask is the rich people among us, or the people that are holding the high position or are classed higher than the others in the society. This is often not the case when the purpose of you asking is for you to grow. Thus, the first thing to be sure of before you begin to ask is yourself. A man that has purpose and focus would know the right set of people to ask in order to fulfill his purpose. Thus, your plan and purpose will help you to determine who would be best in helping you move forward, giving you ideas of the right people to ask. I believe as much as self-evaluation is very important in properly getting through our time on earth, so is taking action, our action are the input we make with the limited time we have and we need to utilize that wisely and realize that evaluation without facing and acting on the realities of such would only pile up more pressure on us. \nPeace unto everyone.
