| title | Liverpool better than Barca? |
| body | Eusebio Di Francesco’s men came from 4-1 behind to end Barca’s Champions League hopes in the last round. They now face a similar task in overturning a 5-2 deficit against Liverpool in the second leg of their semi-final clash. Nainggolan says Roma will draw inspiration from their comeback against the La Liga champions but admits repeating the feat against Liverpool will be much more challenging. “It was difficult against Barca and we need it so we need to believe in what we do,” said the Belgium international. “It will be more difficult than against Barca because physically they are a better team and the only thing we need to try is to try and score three goals and not concede. ROMA stars were pictured training today in shirts dedicated to Liverpool fan Sean Cox - who was left badly injured in crowd trouble prior to last week's Champions League semi-final at Anfield. Edin Dzeko Twitted “I am afraid Liverpool players were more consistent. In some parts we did well at the beginning and end but not the whole 90. At Barcelona, we did it for large spells of the game. "We cannot afford to repeat the mistake by conceding the goals. We know what we have to do.” Roma boss Di Francesco mirrored the views of his midfield ace ahead of the showdown in the the Stadio Olimpico. “It will be more difficult than against Barca because physically they are a better team” Radja Nainggolan He said: “In terms of the Barcelona match, I would do a copy and paste like you would on Microsoft Word but in the minds of the player and physically, in order to compete against Liverpool, we need to raise the bar against Liverpool with physical effort. “Then comes attitude, approach to the game and the fact we need to try and score an early goal and to have the fans behind us even more. “From a motivational point of view, we have the desire to complete this comeback and put everything on the pitch and try and do something great and massive.” |

In some parts we did well at the beginning and end but not the whole 90. At Barcelona, we did it for large spells of the game.\n\"We cannot afford to repeat the mistake by conceding the goals. | body | good old Facebook dot com to discover I was one of the 311,127 Australians – and one of about 87 million people worldwide – who had their personal data harvested by Cambridge Analytica sometime around 2013-15. I was a small and unwitting cog in a vast, beguiling narrative of unfurling geopolitical upheaval encompassing the Trump presidency, Russian interference and Brexit. Here’s what Facebook told me. I was not one of the 270,000-odd people who signed up to the now infamous This is Your Digital Life survey app but one of my friends was. As a result, Facebook “probably” shared my public profile, page likes, my date of birth and the city I lived in. Just 53 Australians used Facebook app responsible for Cambridge Analytica breach Read more Oh, and if I’d written messages – public or private – to my friend who did the quiz, they might have shared those too. Guardian Australia has revealed that only 53 people in Australia installed the app. Was one of my friends among them? Did they know what they were getting me into? What did they buy with the few dollars they were paid to complete the survey? So for the past two weeks, with the thought that Donald Trump being in the White House is maybe a little bit my fault sloshing around in my head, I’ve undertaken the most socially awkward investigation of my career. Like having unprotected sex with 500 people for a decade and then trying to figure out which one of them gave you chlamydia. The results so far are inconclusive. Prime suspects – such as my father, whose habit of clicking incoherently on pretty much anything the internet prompts him to is legendary – have proved to be dead ends. The guy from university who appears to be preternaturally geared towards sharing random Buzzfeed quizzes has been given the all clear. I’ve narrowed it down to about 40 of my 436 current Facebook contacts, mostly by sending a pro forma message to hundreds of my friends and asking them to check whether their data was compromised. (Facebook has started warning me that it “looks I’m using this feature in a way that it wasn’t meant to be used”, which almost feels too obviously ironic to bother pointing out.) Most people have been happy to show me screenshots but a troubling number of so-called friends have seen the message and not responded. I glower at the little picture of them in the chat window, my suspicion growing. Others have proved frustratingly resource intensive. Facebook friendship runs infamously parallel to actual friendship, and I have had to spend hours catching up on what X from high school has been doing in the past 11 years in an effort to convince them I am not a spambot. Australians ignorant about social media data, ACCC chief warns Read more There are any number of holes in my search method, of course. There’s nothing stopping them from lying to me and there’s a lingering feeling of distrust surrounding those who simply respond “wasn’t me” and then ignore follow-up questions about whether they actually checked. But what happens if it turns out to be none of them? By downloading my Facebook data I know there are about 60 other former friends who I deleted in culling sprees in 2013 and 2015. If I get to the end of my current list, I will have to start contacting those people. The conversations will be ... weird. What about P, a girl I added after meeting in a nightclub in the north of England about eight years ago and never spoke to again? I looked up her profile the other night. She’s married now and looks as happy as can be reasonably expected in 2018. Presumably she is unaware that Jared Kushner may well know she likes the film Boyhood. Can I really bring myself to tell her? Since you’re here … … we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading the Guardian than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. The Guardian’s independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too. I appreciate there not being a paywall: it is more democratic for the media to be available for all and not a commodity to be purchased by a few. I’m happy to make a contribution so others with less means still have access to information. Dictionary (Merriam Webster Dictionary) Best Android Apps in 2016 When compiling this list of top10 Android Applications for 2017, we thought of removing the dictionary app for another utility app as the dictionary app would be serving only those in the English speaking regions. We recommended the Merriam Webster Dictionary in this post for its simplicity in defining and explaining words and also for its simplified user interface. This is the best Android app for English language reference, education, and vocabulary building. And now they’ve added new word games! It’s never been more fun to learn new words and test your vocabulary for everyone from English learners to total word nerds. Hundreds of words to test your skills. Integrated Thesaurus: synonyms & antonyms are included with the dictionary Example Sentences: understand how a word is used in context Quick Definitions: perfect for on-the-go lookups Audio Pronunciations: voiced by real English speakers, not text-to-speech robots Favorite Words and Search History: Keep track of the words that are most important to you. | title | Galaxy S8 Iris Scanner |
| body | From The Korea Herald report, it looks as though Samsung is looking forward to using the iris scanner on the Galaxy S8 for financial transactions, presumably through payment systems such as Samsung Pay. The feature is expected to be enabled in South Korea and in parts of North America, although there is no mention of when that will be happening. The iris scanner which was originally on Galaxy note 7 has been incorporated as well in Galaxy S8, which predominantly is said to be more secure than other biometric forms of security such as fingerprints. This is also why it doesn’t surprise us that the feature could be used to facilitate financial transactions in the future. Iris scanning was part of the Note 7 and financial institutions in Korea. It actually allowed users to log into their accounts using the feature, but this will be the first time that transactions can be made and verified using the iris scanning technology on the phone. Assuming that this is successful, we wouldn’t be surprised if in the future more phones were to include the feature. As it stands Apple is also rumored to be looking into alternate means of security beyond the fingerprint, such as a laser scanner that can be used to scan the faces of the user to authenticate them. |

| title | How to jailbreak an iPhone 6s |
| body | Jailbreaking is perfectly legal. If you wanted, you could put your iPhone in a toaster - we don't recommend it, but it's your property and you're entitled to do whatever you want with it. And that includes installing Pangu and customizing your device. Let's take a look at how to free your smartphone or tablet from iTunes. This is a jailbreak for iOS 9.2, 9.3.3 and ios 10 on 64-bit iPhones and iPads, so update your device as normal if you're not on the latest firmware already. Also keep in mind 64-bit iOS devices include the iPhone 5s and higher, the latest iPod Touch, the iPad mini 2 or higher, the iPad Air or higher, and the iPad Pro. If you you so much interested in jailbreaking and you don’t want to brick a brand new iPhone, another option is buying a reconditioned iPhone. We have an entire post dedicated to this subject, complete with links out to all the best places to buy certified reconditioned iPhones. Disclaimer Jailbreaking your iOS device can go wrong, so please, follow these instructions at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any damage made to your phone while following these instructions. Step 1: Backup Your Device Hook up your iPhone, iPod or iPad to your computer and perfume a full iTunes sync before going any further. The good news about jailbreaking is that if anything goes wrong, you can use this backup to put your device back exactly as it was. It's a great safety net that removes much of the risk. Step 2: Turn off Find My iPhone on your iOS device. Go to Settings > iCloud and disable Find My iPhone. This helps stop the iPhone from phoning home. Step 3: Download the installer from Pangu’s website. Right now the installer is only in Chinese but an English version is coming very shortly. Step 4: Run the pphelper installer. This will install the PP 5.0 tool. Click the installer to begin. When the installation finishes, click the “next” button to launch the PP 5.0. Step 5: Download the PP 5.0 components. These components are needed for the actual jailbreaking. Click the green button to begin the download. |

| title | Galaxy S8 Iris Scanner to be Used for Financial Transaction |
| body | From The Korea Herald report, it looks as though Samsung is looking forward to using the iris scanner on the Galaxy S8 for financial transactions, presumably through payment systems such as Samsung Pay. |

"body": "From The Korea Herald report, it looks as though Samsung is looking forward to using the iris scanner on the Galaxy S8 for financial transactions, presumably through payment systems such as Samsung Pay.\n\nThe feature is expected to be enabled in South Korea and in parts of North America, although there is no mention of when that will be happening.\n\nThe iris scanner which was originally on Galaxy note 7 has been incorporated as well in Galaxy S8, which predominantly is said to be more secure than other biometric forms of security such as fingerprints. This is also why it doesn’t surprise us that the feature could be used to facilitate financial transactions in the future.\n\nIris scanning was part of the Note 7 and financial institutions in Korea.
