      "body": "This post is deeply reflective and grounding and it resonates with me so well too.\n \nI graduated from the university early last year and went on to enroll for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. \n\nI chose to serve in a state that’s not only very far from where I come from, but very different in more of operation and culture of the people living there.\n\nIt started out as an extremely rough journey and I found myself often looking back at where I’m coming from and wishing I hadn’t embarked on this new journey.\n\nEventually I realized that perhaps, the reason why life is looking messy right now is because I’ve chosen to hold on to the past rather than propel towards the future. I started to welcome thoughts of my past just as past and not as a necessity for my present self. \n\nI love how you frame growth as something that requires discomfort rather than avoiding it and my journey reflects that.\n\nLife has been a lot more pleasant now. I’m more optimistic and I’m finding joy in the little things.\n\nThis piece feels like both a mirror and a gentle push to do better for ourselves. Still learning too… especially how to live in the moment and take life a day at a time.",

I am not someone who doubts a lot or is suspicious of whatever people say but I recently discovered I’m less trusting and I started to ask myself how I became like that. \n\nHaving reflected on it, I discovered it’s as a result of having people not honour their words countlessly so I’m either being extra careful, doubting or not just trusting what I’m told. \n\nI do also understand that sometimes things do not go as planned so it could lead to anyone not sticking with what they said but overall, as you’ve rightly spoken, we need to do that which we can do within our power - honour our words.\n",
