Sin embargo, debido a que ella aparenta ser demasiado perfecta, él le escribe una mala reseña, por lo que Chizuru lo regaña y revela que es peor de lo que esperaba. Sin embargo, cuando la abuela de Kazuya se derrumba en el hospital, él la lleva consigo y su abuela se enamora de lo genial que es. Kazuya continúa alquilando a Chizuru para mantener las apariencias con su familia y amigos, pero las cosas se complican cuando descubren que son vecinos en los apartamentos donde viven y además asisten a la misma universidad. Su obra tiene una premisa interesante, empieza bien y, lo admito, su estilo de dibujo es agradable. Pero pronto se notan sus deficiencias como escritor. Personajes mal construidos y desarrollados, un ritmo desastroso, el abuso de recursos. Poco a poco se convierte en una burla a la inteligencia del lector. Pero ese no es el principal asunto que me concierne aquí. \n\nAccidentalmente, Rent a Girlfriend ha planteado una visión sincera de un par de asuntos ignorada: la soledad y la idealización excesiva del amor. ¿Por qué digo accidentalmente? Toda acción de Chizuru, por muy irracional o perjudicial que sea, es algo bueno, según él. Es la ceguera completa de aquel que está enamorado y ha idealizado completamente a su objeto de deseo.  Otra que la sufre es Ruka. Y el único punto de su personaje. Está eternamente enamorada, hasta el punto de no ver los defectos de Kazuya o minimizarlos.\n\nVarias veces, la obra hace preguntas verdaderamente interesantes o describe situaciones en donde los personajes exponen sus creencias de forma madura. Desde lo que supone amar a una persona, pasando por las dificultades que conlleva una relación real. Es en esos breves intervalos en donde se deja ver que la historia puede ser más de lo que es. Algo profundo, una  critica a las creencias idealistas que sostenemos hombres y mujeres y que tanto daño nos hacen. \n\nSin embargo, termina echando todo eso por la borda pues las acciones de sus personajes y la forma de presentar sus ideas contradicen cualquier intento por hacer una reflexión. En ocasiones fuerza momentos para detallarnos no lo que el personaje piensa, sino lo que el autor piensa. Es Miyajima hablándole al espectador. Es un chico tímido, nervioso y un tanto depresivo, obsesionado a niveles insanos por lo que cree va hacerlo feliz: tener una novia.\n\nKazuya no tiene ninguna otra motivación en la historia más que esta. Es el motor principal después de su rompimiento con su exnovia, Mami.  Llegando a gastar mucho (MUCHO) dinero en rentar a Chizuru, arrastrando toda su dignidad en el proceso. Cosa que, por obvias razones, resulta desagradable para muchos de los espectadores.\n\nPero el asunto de fondo es más complicado; en la primera temporada del anime, que abarca los primeros volúmenes, vemos de manera sutil el problema de fondo. Sus amigos, familia y demás entorno lo presiona de tal forma que cree que su valor consiste en si puede conseguir novia o no. Pueden verlo en la actitud de la abuela al conocer a Chizuru. No puede creer que su nieto, su tonto nieto, tenga algo con una chica tan hermosa como ella. \n\nDe esto se desprende el centro de la personalidad de Kazuya, un entorno familiar nada sano en donde su abuela, la líder de su familia, le ha inculcado la idea de que solo valdrá como hombre si consigue una buena mujer. Y para ganarse la aprobación de su abuela, tiene que continuar con la mentira.\n\nHe leído pocos mangas o novelas ligeras que muestren tal cosa. En la mayoría de estos, los familiares del protagonista son seres lejanos que aparecen brevemente para dar algún consejo en momentos clave, o tan solo no parecen existir. En Kanojo Okarishimasu, el autor nos muestra desde el principio la influencia que ejerce la abuela de Kazuya en su personalidad. Incluso más que sus padres.\n\nSumado a esto, sus amigos representan una pandilla toxica en donde ellos mismos parecen valorarse a partir de cuanta atención femenina reciben. Tanto así que uno de ellos, Shibuya tiene que rentar a una novia para sentir que no se queda atrás. \n\nReji Miyajima toca algo poco hablado: la creencia de muchos hombres jóvenes que piensan que toda su felicidad estará en tener una relación. Al principio se muestra como la chica perfecta: amable, divertida, calmada, inteligente, atlética y con un aspecto espectacular. No obstante, es poco a poco que se va abriendo, demostrando que es una chica más frágil de lo que parece. Duda de sí misma y de sus sentimientos. \n\nAunque, siempre hay un pero, el autor nunca desarrolla realmente a Chizuru. Se contradice muchas veces y, a pesar de ser mucho más madura y profunda que Kazuya, nunca se atreve a romper el círculo vicioso ni ser proactiva. En ocasiones se siente un personaje vacío. Solo parece ser el objeto de deseo de Kazuya, como decía el renglón anterior; una chica linda y ya. Sin pensamiento independiente de sus circunstancias. Las razones que dan para caer enamoradas del protagonista son básicamente porque el autor así lo quiere. Llegando a tener actitudes irreales y hasta estúpidas.\n\nMami es otro asunto; el manga la utiliza como antagonista, cumple bien su función, apareciendo en momentos clave para agitar las aguas. El asunto es que Miyajima tarda mucho en describir el porqué de su actitud. Pero en algún punto llegamos a conocer las razones detras de todo. No es justificable, pero sí entendible. Mami es de los personajes más salvables de toda la historia, a pesar de que también tenga muchos problemas,  y que sea la menos querida por los fans.\n\n***Nota: Bueno, en este punto debo ser sincero, amo a Sumi. Chicas lindas con personalidades tipicas y un protagonista con el que el espectador pueda identificarse fácilmente. La estructura clasica del harem.\n\n Cada asunto que he mencionado se toca manera superficial,  no se detiene a reflexionar sobre Kazuya y su entorno (más específicamente su abuela), nunca hay un intento de introspección seria, solo un círculo vicioso enfermizo. Nunca contrapone ideas y pensamientos que pongan en tela de juicio la visión de los personajes. Más bien, solo se refuerzan las ideas de Kazuya de que debe “esforzarse” y al final terminará teniendo a la chica. \n\nCreo que con un buen autor, el manga tenía potencial de romper estereotipos y hacer pensar al lector, pero incluso en el punto más alto del manga (El arco pronto a adaptar), termina siendo decepcionante porque el solipsismo nunca termina. Siempre es Kazuya siendo Kazuya y Chizuru yendo de aquí a allá sin avanzar ni un gramo.\n\nLas actitud ambivalente de Chizuru, la forma de comportarse de Kazuya y las ideas plasmadas en el manga podrían tocarse de mejor manera, con un desarrollo menos forzado, si el tono fuese de drama, no un harem en donde todo lo que sucede en la historia es una excusa para meter fanservice y retrasar hasta el cansancio el momento cumbre. Esto le ha pasado factura, pues los fans se han sentido decepcionados y hasta insultados por el rumbo que ha tomado hoy en día la obra.\n\nLo peor es que a Miyajima se le escapa el elefante en la habitación:  la cuestión de la novias de alquiler, que es cada vez más común en países como Japón, Corea y Singapur.  Algo muy complejo de abordar y toca una fibra sensible en occidente. It's the main driver after his breakup with Mami. Going so far as to spend a lot (A LOT) of money on renting Chizuru, dragging all his dignity in the process. Which, for obvious reasons, is off-putting to many viewers.\n\nBut the underlying issue is more complicated; in the first season of the anime, which covers the first few volumes, we subtly see the underlying problem. He is pressured by his friends, family and other surroundings in such a way that he believes his worth is whether he can get a girlfriend or not. You can see it in the grandmother's attitude upon meeting Chizuru. She can't believe that her grandson, her silly grandson, would have something with such a beautiful girl like her.\n\nFrom this comes the core of Kazuya's personality, an unhealthy family environment where his grandmother, the leader of his family, has instilled in him the idea that he will only be worth as a man if he gets a good woman. And to win his grandmother's approval, he has to continue the lie.\n\nI have read few manga or light novels that show such a thing. In most of these, the protagonist's relatives are distant beings who appear briefly to give some advice at key moments, or just don't seem to exist. In Kanojo Okarishimasu, the author shows us from the beginning the influence Kazuya's grandmother has on his personality. Even more than his parents.\n\nIn addition to this, his friends represent a toxic gang where they themselves seem to value themselves based on how much female attention they receive. So much so that one of them, Shibuya has to rent a girlfriend to feel that he is not left behind.\n\nReji Miyajima touches on something little talked about: the belief of many young men who think that all their happiness will be in having a relationship. Going to the point of neglecting themselves and their surroundings for the sake of getting what will supposedly bring them peace. The loneliness to which Kazuya feels subjected, added to his ideas, ends up making him commit all his foolishness. This is a very valuable point, because in the romantic comedy environment (at least in my experience), there is little questioning of how male characters behave or whether what they believe is valid. Chizuru's every action, no matter how irrational or harmful, is a good thing, according to him. It is the complete blindness of one who is in love and has completely idealized his object of desire.  Another one who suffers from it is Ruka. And the only point of her character. She is eternally in love, to the point of not seeing Kazuya's flaws or minimizing them.\n\nSeveral times, the play asks really interesting questions or describes situations where the characters expose their beliefs in a mature way. From what it means to love a person, to the difficulties involved in a real relationship. It is in those brief intervals where you can see that the story can be more than what it is. Something deep, a critique of the idealistic beliefs that men and women hold and that hurt us so much. \n\nHowever, it ends up throwing all that away because the actions of its characters and the way of presenting their ideas contradict any attempt to make a reflection. At times he forces moments to detail not what the character thinks, but what the author thinks. It's Miyajima talking to the viewer. She contradicts herself many times and, despite being much more mature and deeper than Kazuya, she never dares to break the vicious cycle or be proactive. At times she feels like an empty character. She only seems to be the object of Kazuya's desire, as I said in the previous line; a pretty girl and that's it. No thought independent of her circumstances. The reasons they give for falling in love with the protagonist are basically because the author wants them to. They have unrealistic and even stupid attitudes.\n\nMami is another matter; the manga uses her as an antagonist, she fulfills her function well, appearing at key moments to stir the waters. The thing is, Miyajima takes a long time to describe why she has this attitude. But at some point we get to know the reasons behind it all. It's not justifiable, but understandable. Mami is one of the most savable characters in the whole story, even though she also has a lot of problems, and is the least liked by the fans.\n\nNote: Well, at this point I have to be honest, I love Sumi.       "body": "Exacto tanto Akebi como Sono Bisque nos sorprendieron a todos con la gran calidad y animación que nos entregaron y al lograr conseguir escenas realmente hermosas y memorables. \n\nAkebi en un principio no me había llamado la atención pero luego de solo ver 2 capítulos con sus escenas de animación me engancho totalmente.       "body": "Akebi-chan es precioso. La verdad, no esperaba mucho, al principio crei que era otro anime de \"ChicasLindasHaciendoCosasLindas\" pero quedé sorprendido por la animación y lo dulce de la historia.  Los paisajes y las tomas son algo digno de ver.\n\nA pesar de que hace rato seguía el manga, Sono Bisque fue otra sorpresa, por su calidad en la animación y lo bien que vienen adaptando todo.\n\nAkebi y Marin de han llevado todos los elogios esta temporada. Sus Seiyuus también son excelentes. Por ahora son los únicos animes en emisión que sigo. Le echaré un ojo a los demás que mencionas.",
