It should be recalled that the LSE was founded by [**Fabian Socialists**](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Society), with _Sidney Webb_ playing a particularly significant role. Among the original patrons of the LSE was _Sir Ernest Cassel_, a partner in **Kuhn, Loeb and Co.**, and in the armaments firm of Basil Zaharof, Vickers. Cassel, whose humanitarianism might be open to suspicion, nonetheless backed the LSE as a means of training a “socialist bureaucracy.” Prof. J H Morgan K.C., wrote of Cassel’s support for the LSE:\n\n> When I once asked Lord Haldane why he persuaded his friend, Sir Ernest Cassel, to settle by his will large sums on … the London School of Economics, he replied, “Our object is to make this institution a place to raise and train the bureaucracy of the future Socialist State.”\n\nOther funding came from the **Rockefellers** and the **Rothschilds**, the quintessential international capitalists. The relationship can be readily determined by Sir Ernest Cassel’s having established the chair of “economic geography”; and of Sir Evelyn Robert de Rothschild having been a Governor of the LSE.\n\nIn 1923 the first contribution from the Rockefeller Foundation (via the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Fund) of $1,000,000 was made to the LSE. From 1929-1952 the Rockefeller Foundation donated $4,105,592 to the LSE.\n\nThe archival history of the London School of Economics and Political Science is instructive in respect of the political motivation and funding of the LSE. A synopsis of the Archives held by the British Library of Political and Economic Science, a department of the LSE, states:\n\n> The London School of Economics and Political Science was officially opened in the autumn of 1895. It owed its existence to the will of Henry Hunt Hutchinson, a provincial member of the Fabian Society, who had left a significant sum of money in trust for “propaganda and other purposes of the said [Fabian] Society and its Socialism and towards advancing its objects in any way they [the trustees] deem advisable.”\n\nThe Archives confirm that largesse came from Rockefeller and Cassel funds:\n\n> The appointment of Sir William Beveridge in 1919 marked a period of rapid expansion in all areas of the School’s activity. The Commerce Degree (BCom) was instituted, attracting both applicants and finance. The School was able to expand the Clare Market site into Houghton Street, building the “Old Building” (1920) and the Cobden Library Wing, and expanding the Passmore Edwards Building to incorporate the Founder’s Room. Beveridge also used new funding from the Cassel Fund and the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Fund to make numerous academic staff full-time and permanent, and create chairs in subjects including Political Economy, Social Anthropology and Statistics. New departments were created, notably International Studies, and emphasis placed on social science research.\n\nIt might be asked what individuals regarded as epitomizing the free market, and the institutions connected with them, were doing subsidizing overtly socialistic causes? Dialectics seems to answer the paradox, and H. G. Wells’ comment on the convergence of capitalism and communism as forms of collectivism seems to offer an explanation. Force - physical\n2. Deception -mind\n\nHistorically the first method failed because it is literally _'bloody_' cumbersome to the governor whilst it is revolting to the governed, which offered no peace to the governor ending up spending more time suppressing the _resistance_ than governing the subjects.\n\nThe second method is more effective, quite stable and easier to manage. Btw this' ongoing as you're reading. The governor forms a team and aptly called it **govern-ment** (Latin for mind [_mens, mentis_]), govern-the-mind.\n\nThe modern day **govern-ment** is highly organized and structured for a systemic control and it seems to work fairly well albeit a few resistance here and there by colorful boat-rockers. \n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcDht8SNW1fV7mHy2e75otVv7y5DjFfkXdj5knYnWjw7J/image.png)\n\nThe main device to deal with disorder and resistance is the inglorious **Law**. The Law is tightly enforced and policed, and law-breakers will be dealt-with by the **Legal and Justice system**\n\nArmed with the _legal-machinery_, the governor can now govern and loot the subjects (peacefully).\n\nThe bigger the subjects the more tedious it gets. Its difficult to police every individual subject, but the governor accepted that and its ready to lose to some (clever) sneakers, but try catch them whenever he can.\n\nIn actuality the current form of control is flimsy because it is basically _docu-control_ (data documented) method.\n\n1. Birth Certificates\n2. Identity Cards\n3. Passports\n4. Licences\n5. Permits and Titles\n6. Paper Money\n\n...and so on.\n\n<h3>The Bugs</h3>\n\n1. **Document** (both paper and digital) can be easily duplicated and/or falsified completely as signed and sealed.\n\n2. **Corruption** - An oversight perhaps by the governor is the whole control system he created to tame the subjects has turned them into corrupt monsters who have lost their minds and creating havoc. Even _George Orwell_ didn't see it then in  [1984](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nineteen_Eighty-Four) \n_How do you control their minds when they've lost it?_\n\n3. The biggest flaw in the system is the _Papier-mâché_ **fiat money**. Fake as it is, it must be spent for it to be of any purpose. _Produce and consumption_ is the idea and this idea has led to the corruption of the mind.\n\nTo get the paper money one has to beg, borrow or steal...or _\"under-the-table\"_\n\nCorruption is boring many big holes in the system, collapsing it and destroys the governor.\n\nCorrupt politicians/businessmen/police/judges and just about everybody else.\n \nThe _Orwellian_ governor must now come up with a meaner system if he is to remain relevant because the giant has awakened. \n\n\n>If properly and effectively understood, it will become the generally accepted notion that every thinking and reasonable person knows that  using the coercive power of the government to compel anyone to sacrifice their life for others is as ethically not right as expecting others to be forced to sacrifice for them.\n\n>Then, as a matter of implied first principles, it will be impossible for some in the society to successfully coerce others through the tools of political power because it will be culturally counter to the general habit of the mind that liberty is too precious as both a moral and practical matter to be forgone for even the most attractive short-run gains from political paternalism and plunder.\n\n>It is neither an easy nor a quick task to change, in this sense, the climate of opinion about the appropriate moral order to sustain a free, prosperous, and ethical society. But we have no tools other than our minds and our reason and an understanding that it is in our own self-interest to try.\n\n> If enough of us take on this task, the growth in government can be both halted and reversed. The world of plunder can be replaced with a community of free people pursuing mutually beneficial peaceful production.
