Almost forgot that I had any.\nToday I decided to log into Bittrex again for the first time in two years,\nJust to find out that my account has been disabled and unable to withdraw\nor deposit anything. Reason being probably because of a new change of rules.\n\nI send a ticket, asking for why my account was disabled. I got a reply really fast, saying I need to verify myself. Went on the site and noticed that verifying myself requires copying and uploading\nyour ID in my case my passport to the internet. Which I am not going to do, the money I have on there is not worth potential Identity fraud.  So I decided to consider my money lost and maybe deleting my account.\nThen the costumer service asked me to withdraw funds before deleting my account, but I can't because it has been disabled.\n\nWhere I am from even government institutions warn not to upload ID photos online.\nIf anybody is thinking about uploading their ID online I advice them to think it over twice.\nI really doubt that this data is fully safe from hackers or scammers.\n\nI am now hoping to find a more private decentralized exchange.\n\nWould love to know other people's opinion on this stuff.\nHope you all doing well.\n\nHave a nice day.",

Now you hear stories, about paypal denying companies services, Visa threatening to deny companies services. And gab has been taken down by their hosting companies.\n\nTo me these companies, are monopolies, and that gives them power. And them banning these people and denying people services without any good reason, is a clear abuse of their power. This is because too many people being able to use these companies has become as necessary as having the phone.\n\n\nPeople that need to earn their money online, are completely dependent on these services because there is no alternative. Or maybe I should say, now that gab has been taken down, there is no alternative, that cannot be threatened by the already existing monopolies. If you want to build an alternative to the Facebook monopoly, you would still be dependent on the monopoly of Paypal, Visa, banks, hosting services etc to make it. And they are likely good friends of your competitors. And for ideological but more likely financial reasons choose their side and cut you off if they are pressured to do so.\n\nWhat would be a good solution to this problem?\nI alone, can not do anything, but I still want to think of potential solutions.\nBut since I'm no expert at everything, I don't want to think about these solutions alone. \n\nTherefore I would like you who reads this to think with me. If possible, I want to build up a community of people who think with me, to come up with new ideas or solutions for certain problems.       "body": "https://hacked.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/cryptocurrencies.jpg\n\nWhen I heard people talking, about how crypto is the future,\nI have always been skeptical.\n\nI could always imagine crypto being something that exists next to fiat and other forms of value like gold for example.\n\nBut then you get to read about the trade wars, how the east and west are trying to devalue each others currencies and disrupt each others trade in their battle for power which will go at the cost of us pawns.\nHow company's like master card threatened to cancel their services with other company's if they don't censor people or end their services with certain clients that are depended on them. And we are dependent on them. crypto right now seems to be the only way to re-gain independence from these countries trade wars, and companies services.\n\nThere may be other ways, and I'm planning to look into those ideas.",
