Mi madre Isvel, quien tenía en ese entonces 27 años, y  mi padre Agustín, tenía 33 años, luego llegaron mis dos hermanas, Mariela en el año 1989 una pequeña muy tímida pero que escondía un gran genio dentro de ella, siempre se destacaba en todo lo que hacía, siempre obtenía la mayor calificación, dejándome en ridículo a mí que no era más destacada que el promedio. Luego llego la pequeña, Alejandra en 1992, una chiquilla regordeta muy hermosa y valiente, parecía no tener miedo de ser ella misma y enfrentarse a cualquier situación, siempre levantaba la voz para defender lo que ella considera correcto y no le importa a quien se enfrenta, ya sea una persona o una multitud, incluso por las noches no temía decir “dame la mano” con tanta actitud que solo le faltaba decir “es una orden”. \n![maracaibo 001.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmX2QpAL54xdVhiJKE2mHX129tXb82y4cWCMKfSeFowcks/maracaibo%20001.jpg)\nCon mucho esfuerzo y sacrificio mi madre y mi padre lograron formar una familia y criar a sus hijas, mi padre fue contratado por una transnacional debido a que era el único gerente que no bebía cerveza luego de salir del trabajo, lo que era y sigue siendo prácticamente una costumbre del venezolano.\nCon el nuevo empleo de mi padre nos fuimos a vivir a Puerto Rico en una casa muy lujosa. Recuerdo haberme despedido de mis compañeros del 5to grado para comenzar en una escuela totalmente diferente, en idioma y costumbres. No nos tomó mucho tiempo adaptarnos a Mariela y a mí, ya teníamos muchos amigos y nos sentíamos “parte del equipo”, así que la más pequeña, hermosa y extrovertida no debería tener problemas, asi que no le prestamos mucha atención. Un día en el recreo vemos un pequeño grupo de niños en círculo alrededor de un par de niñas que estaban en el suelo de tierra, los niños arrojaban tierra a la cabeza de una niña afrodescendiente, me acerco para ver de qué se trata y veo a mi hermanita menor en el centro del circulo levantando a la niña que estaba tirada en el suelo, me llene de furia y ahuyenté a todos los niños del círculo, le pregunte a mi hermana si estaba bien y me dijo que sí, que ella solo estaba defendiendo a la niña que tenía tierra en la cabeza, estaba llena de furia y con lágrimas en sus ojos, para mi sorpresa mi hermanita no conocía a la niña a quien molestaban, pero como es ella no pudo quedarse sin hacer nada y aunque no la conocía entro a defenderla! Qué valor de una niña tan pequeña enfrentarse a un grupo de niños extraños, en un país nuevo en un colegio nuevo por defender a una desconocida quien desde ese día fue su amiga inseparable. Alejandra, más que Mariela y yo pudo darse cuenta del racismo, la discriminación, el abuso y maltrato que en este país existía y que para los niños de allí era natural, en casa no veíamos nada de esto, gracias a Dios solo fueron dos años, hasta que mi madre decidió separarse de mi padre y volvimos a Venezuela, donde nos reencontramos con nuestros compañeros y Alejandra fue feliz de no volver a ser testigo de abusos o maltratos hacia los débiles o hacia las personas de color…\nYa en Venezuela nos graduamos cada una en su debido momento, en los últimos años de colegio comencé a salir con el hermano mayor de mi mejor amigo quien me acompañó al baile de graduación, mi amigo, ahora cuñado y yo comenzamos a estudiar juntos en la Universidad Central de Venezuela en la facultad de ciencias veterinarias y gracias a su apoyo incondicional logre graduarme junto con el sin repetir ninguna materia. Nos hemos graduados juntos del colegio y la universidad y aún hoy, sigue siendo mi mejor amigo, apoyo emocional y consejero, me ha ayudado a superar obstáculos y a lograr metas. \n![32377_10152355652250595_1680804651_n.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeReCM3gPR4E7GkSs3miWAHQbZZvJeaLYVRsjDqirECX3/32377_10152355652250595_1680804651_n.jpg)\nLamentablemente ya no somos cuñados pues su hermano decidió dejarme justo antes de la graduación de grado, arruinando mis planes de ser madre a los 26 años. Entonces pensé, con ser madre antes de los treinta me conformaría, pero pasaron los años y ya casi cumplía 30, comenzaba a perder la esperanza y a resignarme, hasta que conocí por casualidad a un hombre que se veía mayor, pero era joven, tenía 10 años más que yo, pero fue la segunda vez que conocí a alguien, que a pesar de todos sus defectos yo lo veía perfecto, este hombre no estudio nada, no sabe escribir bien, habla incorrectamente, con 22 años ya había tenido dos divorcios y 4 hijos, pero es un hombre muy trabajador, muy organizado y dueño de su propio negocio del cual se hace cargo personalmente. No era nuestro plan tener hijos, apenas nos estábamos conociendo y el usaba un anticonceptivo para hombres inyectado el cual yo misma llegue a ponerle, pero luego de 4 meses, en enero de 2016 tuve un retraso, por lo cual fui al ginecólogo quien me sorprendió con la noticia de que estaba embarazada, le comente sobre la supuesta inyección que él se coloca, y la doctora me dijo que lo han estado estafando porque esa inyección no existe en el país, así que, a pesar de que no fue buscado, yo estaba muy feliz de ser madre al fin a mis 29 años de edad, y de que el padre es un hombre a quien yo amo muchísimo y considero que tiene los genes más perfectos para darme un hijo hermoso y san. él estuvo conmigo durante el embarazo pero nuestra relación nunca fue muy fuerte, así que finalmente soy madre soltera.   \n![foto.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZxbwuUh2LUnuJPByS4oh6CZ8JkZYaUiJ94byZxVARkK7/foto.jpg)\nEstoy agradecida de ser madre y poder darle a mi hijo un techo y todo lo que necesita, su padre eventualmente nos ayuda, pero es innegable que me abandonó con su hijo en mis brazos, yo no le tengo rencor para nada, pienso que lo mejor es lo que pasa, y aunque no entendamos, los planes de Dios son perfectos, agradezco no tener que pelear con él por la custodia de mi hijo, porque realmente no le permitiria llevárselo ni por un par de horas, es más, no le confiaría ni a mi mascota, diría que fue un error confiar en él, pero gracias a eso existe Maximiliano y aunque no conoce a su padre, no puede evitar ser como el, con el carácter tan fuerte, tan organizado y trabajador, realmente parece que su padre lo hubiera enseñado a ser como el, pero no, eso lo trae en la sangre, me imagino que si viviera con su padre sería la sombra, el reflejo de él, yo no podría soportar pelear con él por la atención de mi hijo o porque no le enseñe a hablar mal, o a decir groserías o mentiras, sin mencionar que tiene esa mentalidad retrograda de que “a los varones hay que criarlos a los coñazos” sus palabras textuales, y se refiere a que a los varones hay que tratarlos con rudeza para que sean hombres, que si se tratan con cariño como a las mujeres entonces lo criare homosexual. Si, ya lo sé, está loco, pero yo no discuto con él, (como dicen loro viejo no aprende a hablar) lo dejo pensar lo que quiera. He tenido la dicha de trabajar bajo la tutela de doctores excelentísimos, en sus respectivas áreas de especialización, lo que me ha permitido afrontar el día a día en un consultorio veterinario con agilidad y efectividad. La vida en la clínica puede ser muy variada, desde simples vacunas hasta emergencias donde la vida de una mascota está en riesgo.\nGracias a mis profesores y a mi determinación de aprender de ellos he podido responder a todo caso clínico que haya cruzado la puerta de mi consultorio, y si no puedo hacer lo que buscan (ya sea por falta de equipo, o herramientas) los puedo referir con mucha responsabilidad al médico más calificado para el caso particular, lo cual también agradecen, el que los haya puesto en las mejores manos. En este país nuevo donde también ejerce su carrera pudo darles a sus hijas un hogar y una mejor educación, muchos juguetes, ropa y comida.
