Everyone in the team calls him the ‘Master Jugaadu’, who emblems the saying:\n‘Where there is a will, there is always a way.’\nRead on to know his authentic take on it.\n\nBeing from a business family, I was well aware of the inertia faced by small business players to adopt anything online. And hence I was apprehensive about the idea. But then I met Nishank and Sanjay, our co-founders. I was particularly impressed by their will, rigour, understanding of the problem, and tenacity to solve it, and that got me on board Anar. It being a remote work made the decision making easier.\nI started off setting the backend and got my hands on Ruby on Rails. After Abhishek (our Backend engineer) got on board to steer our backend, I took to Frontend development on React Native framework. React native was the obvious choice for its flexibility, compactness, server-side rendering capability, and community support. Shortly after, we released the first version of our app in Feb 2020 and iterated at a blazing speed to grow to what it is today.\n\nIt has surely been one hell of a journey, with a steep learning curve📈. Imagine! For the first 2 lakh users, Anar was solely built by a team of three engineers. To add to it, two developers, Sumit and I, learned React Native from scratch on the go. Despite that, we have been executing and delivering right from Day 1.\nSanjay has built an incredible result-driven work culture in the tech team from the very inception. Here at Anar, we solve real-life problems, rather than performing monotonous and routine tasks every day.\nI can give multiple examples that highlight how this fosters innovation in the solution. At one particular instance, we wanted to give our users the capability to chat with others. We tried multiple chat SDKs such as Sendbird and Applozic. However, due to user privacy issues, we decided to build an in-house chat system, to prevent the messages being sent to and stored with a third party application.\nWe started exploring building a real-time chat system with Elixir and Phoenix. But adopting this approach added to the complexity of the app and led to a marked performance drop due to open connections.\nThe tech and the product team sat down together to tackle the challenge, we had a profound realization that we don’t need chat per se. We rather needed a basic technology with a similar functionality such as that of the SMS, which did not have to be in real-time. Just looking at the same problem from a different perspective led us to a more efficient and effective solution, which we managed to deliver in less than a week.\n\nOur chat is completely integrated, such that it can be accessed from multiple source points and can also give access to multiple endpoints. It isn’t just a simple peer-to-peer communication consisting of text and images. We enabled actions such as:\n- sharing the collection and product\n- ordering a product\n- requesting a review\n- posting requirements\nright from within the chat by custom cards. This robust chat system has been highly appreciated by all our users, to the extent that more than 50% of our daily active business users use chat everyday.\nFast forward a year and a half, I have seen Anar scale tremendously with some commendable achievements -10K+ product uploads a day, 20k+ connection requests a day, 400k+ product views a day. What hasn’t changed is the vigour and sense of ownership I feel towards the work I take up. In fact, taking complete ownership is the core cultural value of Anar and this is something that I completely embrace.\n\nAnar is a business networking platform for 70 million SMBs in India with over 200k+ registered businesses who are using it regularly to grow their network, exposure, knowledge and business.\nAnar is open for manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers and resellers across India and works especially well for businesses in the clothing, apparels, textiles and gems & jewellery sectors.",

It was a moment I had been waiting for.\nBut It all Failed!\nBut the process ended up a failure, my bank IT unit was not willing to recruit a new guy (me)from banking operations for one reason. No programming experience, an experienced full stack backend developer was in need. my boss broke the news and It appeared my life was in shambles. I finally took permission to cross to the marketing department where I spent 3 additional years before I eventually resigned from the monotonous work and I decided to create a future for myself in IT Industry. Resigning my job was a risk I was willing to take; Afterall all I want is fulfillment.\nI Hate IT Job\nThis was not my intention, I was not willing to work in a 6–7 job anymore, I started an IT and Training Outfit to help small businesses with IT solutions and also training tech enthusiasts on basic IT Skills. Thanks to few friends who shared space with me as an office. the Journey was not a rosy one but I enjoyed all the hardship. I was broke, tired, and even sick of everything. Well, think again, because the Bangtan Boys aren’t even close to being done making the world a better place.\n\nThis week, the Korean boy band — composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — made waves at Global Citizen Live with a special performance of “Permission to Dance” from Seoul.\n\nKicking off the once-in-a-generation broadcast special that traveled across all seven continents, the band once again showed how they take action on today’s most pressing global issues. And they did it in true BTS fashion, and welcomed masked back-up dancers to perform with them!\n\nWith international crises like the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change threatening people around the world, each member of BTS has consistently shown their commitment to defending the planet and defeating poverty.\n\nAt the start of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) last week, BTS joined President of South Korea Moon Jae-in to spotlight the importance of youth activism for the future of the world. Instead of focusing on how the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted our next generation of leaders, though, BTS decided to flip the script and show how resilient today’s youth truly are in the face of adversity.\n\n“We think that instead of the ‘Lost Generation,’ a more appropriate name would be the ‘Welcome Generation,’ because instead of fearing change, this generation says, ‘Welcome!’ and keeps forging ahead,\" BTS member Jin said in opening remarks at the Sustainable Development Goals Moment.\n\nFrom speaking up on the ills of racism and xenophobia to supporting health care access for low-income families, BTS takes their advocacy from the stage to the people. And hundreds of people did, shoving inside the Boeing C-17 military aircraft; tumbling over, then pulling their bodies into tight huddles on the floor to let as many others in as possible.\n\nAs the rear door closed and the deafening engines started, lifting the heavy plane off the runway at Kabul’s international airport, people broke down wailing; crying. Now refugees.\n\n\nMilitary aircraft are far noisier inside than passenger planes and almost windowless, so the plane heading for a Qatari military base did not grant its 400 passengers a last view of the Hindu Kush mountain range.\n\nMost on board had lived comfortable lives, weeks filled with work and weekends with family and friends – with visits to suburban gardens or parks, drinking the traditional iced yoghurt beverage “dough” during the hot summers. Their lives were dignified, happy even, despite the war. They had not wanted to leave their homes, but their lives tilted overnight when the Taliban advanced, taking the Afghan capital on 15 August.\n\nAfghans fleeing their country are being evacuated from Kabul airport after the Taliban took over the city.\nAs the deadline for withdrawal neared the US and UK sent reinforcements to Kabul to evacuate diplomats, soldiers and citizens as well as thousands of Afghans.
