| body |

Someone posted this question on [Quora](https://www.quora.com/). I decided to [answer the call](https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-single-most-epic-act-anybody-in-Star-Wars-has-ever-performed/answer/Jeremy-Adams-85). What a great question. There’s so many characters to choose from. I’m going to try to make a case for R2-D2 here, specifically in the context of The Clone Wars series on Netflix. If you look at just this series, R2-D2 plays a HUGE role and aiding the Grand Army of the Republic and saved Anakin’s ass more times than I can count. Here’s a quick list of all the shit he was involved in and was a key contributor to the Republic Army at large: 1. [Battle of Geonosis](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Geonosis) 2. The Defense of Christophsis 3. Malevolence Resuce Mission (Padame’s dumbass was trapped on board) 4. Exposed R3-S6 as a Traitor 5. Escaping [Drol](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Drol) in order to find the cure for the [Blue Shadow Virus](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Blue_Shadow_Virus) 6. [Liberation of Ryloth](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Ryloth) 7. Battle of Malastare (savior from the [Zillo Beast](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zillo_Beast)) 8. The Vanqor Trap (saved Skywalker and Mace Windu) 9. Infiltrating and Escaping the [Citadel](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Citadel) 10. Saving the entire planet of [Aleen](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Aleen) 11. Establishing Democracy and murdering [Hay-Zu](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hay-Zu) (accidentally) 12. **Serving in [D-Squad](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/D-Squad)** 13. Saving Anakin on [Cato Neimoidia](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cato_Neimoidia) (safely landed his fighter while he was unconscious) 14. Escorting Yoda to Dagobah and Moraband (to complete his Jedi training and discover the Origin-of-Life) The list could go on forever, but you get the point. Here’s where I’ll make the case for his miraculous adventures while serving D-Squad. R2-D2, along with a band of other droids, is sent on a dangerous mission to retrieve a decoding module from a separatist warship under the supervision of this ugly, annoying slug thing called Colonel [Meebur Gascon](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Meebur_Gascon). They make it out alive, but crash land on the waste planet of Abafar. After successfully navigating the squad through the barren wasteland they eventually find themselves back on a Republic cruiser en route to the [Republic Strategy Conference](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Republic_strategy_conference). They discover the cruiser has been captured by a group of Separatist droids and is packed with [rhydonium](http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rhydonium), a highly-explosive type of starship fuel of which the Separatists planned on using to nuke the Strategy Conference. After a long skirmish inside of the Republic cruiser between D-Squad and the Separatists, most of D-Squad is able to get onto a small ship to escape the inevitable exploding doom. Like a huge pussy, Gascon takes off leaving R2 behind. Not only was R2-D2 able to regain control of the commandeered cruiser, but he did so with style. Like a mother fucking champion he preemptively activated the rhydonium detonator, blowing the ship up before it could reach its destination. He saved thousands of clones in the Republic Navy, as well as the lives of Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi. This act of valor could arguably be one of the most selfless and heroic events that took place during the Clone Wars. It’s either this long-winded story or the battle where Obi-Wan Kenobi defeats both Darth Maul and Savage Opress in this wicked little battle (Starts around 3:05). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE_CVWMWK74 |

This is a project I've been working on with a friend of mine for quite some time now and we're happy to report our **first sale within five hours of starting our marketing campaign** (and we're almost at break-even)! We're still pretty far off from becoming millionaires, but it's a good start to the year. Things we're currently working on: 1) SEO Optimization 2) Vendor Acquisition 3) Product Offerings 4) Social Media Presence We offer a variety of unique hand trimming equipment, specifically tailored to best manicure your bud and marijuana product to help save you time and money in the long haul. This will hopefully be the first post of many to come on how effective our campaign is going and reporting back any progress as we roll out new products, come up with new strategies, and much more. If we're successful, I'd love to post our techniques and share ideas to help other entrepreneurs in the future.
More to come and Happy Trimming!

*[email protected]*
|

| body |

For a while now I've been accomplishing "30 Day Tasks" in an effort to combat boredom and provide an outlet for interesting reading/writing material. As I sat down and started looking into this whole [30 Day Challenge epidemic](https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?rs=ac&len=2&q=30%20day%20challenge&eq=30%20day%20challenge&etslf=NaN&term_meta[]=30%7Cautocomplete%7Cundefined&term_meta[]=day%7Cautocomplete%7Cundefined&term_meta[]=challenge%7Cautocomplete%7Cundefined), I quickly realized that I was turning into a basic-ass-bitch. Literally nothing I was doing was interesting so I shall not be posting any of that dribble. However, there was one that was particularly entertaining to me of which I shall reveal the details of during my journey below. Enjoy! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My [first 30 day journey](https://steemit.com/food/@antbird23/30-days-of-no-added-sugar-lessons-learned) went through with complete success. I was pretty pumped about the results and knowledge I gained from the experience. This then led to this spur of bullshit "Challenges" I tried out over the coming months. These aren't really challenges per se as most people call them, but more like the equivalent of a participation award given to anyone who shows up. Like most brilliant ideas that come to mind, I decided to jump right in without analyzing the potential flaws or negative consequences. I'm an action based person. I have worked in the corporate environment for for over five years now. I know what it's like to talk about a bunch of shit and get no actual work done. So when I get into something, there's very little thinking that goes on. I just say fuck it, go for it, pivot around the obstacles and track results. Without hesitation I decided I'd cold turkey masturbating for 30 days. Here's the quick breakdown by each week for the four week process:
**WEEK 1**

Not a lot of great stuff happened in Week 1. Like Christmas music playing before Thanksgiving is even over, it was too early. No real cognitive benefits took place and there were no real noticeable changes. I actively avoided talking to women who I thought were attractive so as not to be tempted by the fruit of the devil. The urge to masturbate was not strong with this one.
**WEEK 2**

Again, not too terrible of a challenge at this point. I began to notice small changes in terms of happiness in my relationship (did I mention I had a girlfriend who had no idea this was going on at the time? - whoops) and motivation to accomplish other things. I believe this was mostly onset from not constantly jacking off to freakishly huge computer based titties (aka porn). There's [some evidence to support](https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/therapy-matters/201205/does-porn-contribute-ed) the notion of ED caused by over-stimulation of watching porn, but I'll leave that for the scientists. I definitely saw a change in what I was being "turned-on" by now, and it was incredibly different than what was going on previously.
**WEEK 3**

Week 3 came and the metaphorical shit hit the fan. Not only was I battling a girlfriend with unlimited amounts of sexual desire, but EVERYTHING became increasingly sexual. Daily household objects, dreams, foods, you name it. My immediate thoughts raced towards "How can I fuck this thing?" The [madness](http://souleater.wikia.com/wiki/Madness) was setting in and it was winning. I remember sitting in a meeting one day. It was one of those "Why the hell am I even here?" meetings - a complete snooze fest. The presenter got up to write some words on the white board. Pretty standard. I don't remember the word exactly, but she wrote something on the board and it began with a big ass "W." This wasn't your average looking "W" like the Wonder Woman logo - it was emphatically curved and droopy. The edges of my vision blurred. My thoughts were in a torrent of chaos and confusion. My hearing weakened as the giant booby-like W began speaking to me in Parseltongue. It was the most erotically unexciting event that took place and the urge to break the streak had never been stronger. I eventually regained focus after some internal monologue, which mostly consisted of me asking myself "WTF is wrong with you!?" Aside from the ridiculous sexual antics I noticed the urge to have physical intimacy was much stronger. Breaking the porn-addiction was mentally freeing and I felt more primal. This, I believe, was a positive step that would pay dividends in the long run in my relationship if I could fend off the ferocious female tigress clawing at my door every night. I also noticed increased levels of energy and found women more beautiful in their natural state. Instead of being chained by the shackles of stimulated computer screen watching, I seemed to be more pleased or more easily aroused by simply gazing at my surroundings.
**WEEK 4**

Week 4 was surprisingly easier than the previous weeks. It was very similar to the feeling you get when you're almost done going for a long run. The finish line is just in reach and you get a sudden burst of energy to drive it home. Don't get me wrong, the urges of the dreadful Week 3 were still in full effect, but I was able to batten down the hatches and stiff arm any foreign invaders from infiltrating my progress. This was great and all, but a new challenger stepped into the ring. I now had to fight the lingering creeper effect to stare at women in the office and on the street. No one wants to be known as the fucking dude who's cat calling and staring inappropriately with a "we both know I'm intently looking at your ass and I don't give a shit" gaze. Fortunately I was able to stave off any/all HR violations and no known restraining orders were filed. One last note: a major benefit, albeit ridiculous in nature, was the [amount of time I regained](https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/30/time-spent-on-porn-america_n_3832321.html) at night instead of searching for the perfect porn video. I don't know if many women know about this, but guys probably spend more time looking for the right porn to watch than it takes to complete the task at hand. The time-spent-searching-to-masturbation ratio is prob like 15:1. 15 minutes spent searching for a good movie to one minute of depressed masturbation. It's a hilarious waste of time that was better off spent sleeping. |

"body": "

\n\nFor a while now I've been accomplishing \"30 Day Tasks\" in an effort to combat boredom and provide an outlet for interesting reading/writing material. Enjoy!\n\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nMy [first 30 day journey](https://steemit.com/food/@antbird23/30-days-of-no-added-sugar-lessons-learned) went through with complete success. I was pretty pumped about the results and knowledge I gained from the experience. This then led to this spur of bullshit \"Challenges\" I tried out over the coming months. These aren't really challenges per se as most people call them, but more like the equivalent of a participation award given to anyone who shows up. \n\nLike most brilliant ideas that come to mind, I decided to jump right in without analyzing the potential flaws or negative consequences. I'm an action based person. I have worked in the corporate environment for for over five years now. I know what it's like to talk about a bunch of shit and get no actual work done. So when I get into something, there's very little thinking that goes on. I just say fuck it, go for it, pivot around the obstacles and track results.\n\nWithout hesitation I decided I'd cold turkey masturbating for 30 days. Here's the quick breakdown by each week for the four week process:\n\n
**WEEK 1**
\n

\n\nNot a lot of great stuff happened in Week 1. Like Christmas music playing before Thanksgiving is even over, it was too early. No real cognitive benefits took place and there were no real noticeable changes. I actively avoided talking to women who I thought were attractive so as not to be tempted by the fruit of the devil. The urge to masturbate was not strong with this one.\n\n
**WEEK 2**
\n

\n\nAgain, not too terrible of a challenge at this point. I definitely saw a change in what I was being \"turned-on\" by now, and it was incredibly different than what was going on previously.\n\n
**WEEK 3**
\n

\nWeek 3 came and the metaphorical shit hit the fan. Not only was I battling a girlfriend with unlimited amounts of sexual desire, but EVERYTHING became increasingly sexual. Daily household objects, dreams, foods, you name it. My immediate thoughts raced towards \"How can I fuck this thing?\" The [madness](http://souleater.wikia.com/wiki/Madness) was setting in and it was winning.\n\nI remember sitting in a meeting one day. It was one of those \"Why the hell am I even here?\" meetings - a complete snooze fest. The presenter got up to write some words on the white board. Pretty standard. I don't remember the word exactly, but she wrote something on the board and it began with a big ass \"W.\" \n\nThis wasn't your average looking \"W\" like the Wonder Woman logo - it was emphatically curved and droopy. The edges of my vision blurred. My thoughts were in a torrent of chaos and confusion. My hearing weakened as the giant booby-like W began speaking to me in Parseltongue. It was the most erotically unexciting event that took place and the urge to break the streak had never been stronger. I eventually regained focus after some internal monologue, which mostly consisted of me asking myself \"WTF is wrong with you!?\"\n\nAside from the ridiculous sexual antics I noticed the urge to have physical intimacy was much stronger. Breaking the porn-addiction was mentally freeing and I felt more primal. This, I believe, was a positive step that would pay dividends in the long run in my relationship if I could fend off the ferocious female tigress clawing at my door every night. \n\nI also noticed increased levels of energy and found women more beautiful in their natural state. Instead of being chained by the shackles of stimulated computer screen watching, I seemed to be more pleased or more easily aroused by simply gazing at my surroundings.\n\n
**WEEK 4**
\n

\n\nWeek 4 was surprisingly easier than the previous weeks. It was very similar to the feeling you get when you're almost done going for a long run. The finish line is just in reach and you get a sudden burst of energy to drive it home.\n\nDon't get me wrong, the urges of the dreadful Week 3 were still in full effect, but I was able to batten down the hatches and stiff arm any foreign invaders from infiltrating my progress.\n\nThis was great and all, but a new challenger stepped into the ring. I now had to fight the lingering creeper effect to stare at women in the office and on the street. No one wants to be known as the fucking dude who's cat calling and staring inappropriately with a \"we both know I'm intently looking at your ass and I don't give a shit\" gaze. Fortunately I was able to stave off any/all HR violations and no known restraining orders were filed.\n\nOne last note: a major benefit, albeit ridiculous in nature, was the [amount of time I regained](https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/30/time-spent-on-porn-america_n_3832321.html) at night instead of searching for the perfect porn video. I don't know if many women know about this, but guys probably spend more time looking for the right porn to watch than it takes to complete the task at hand. The time-spent-searching-to-masturbation ratio is prob like 15:1. 15 minutes spent searching for a good movie to one minute of depressed masturbation. It's a hilarious waste of time that was better off spent sleeping.",

| author | antbird23 |
| body |

For whatever brilliant reason on April 30'th, 2017, I decided I could easily make the switch to a "No Added Sugar" diet for 30 days, starting May 1 (the next day). And like most of my decision making habits, I figured cold turkey with zero planning was probably the best way to go. I know this isn't a novel or new idea, but I said fuck it, let's roll with this and see if I can handle it. I wasn't doing this to be healthier or lose weight or any of that nonsense. And like most of my decision making habits, I figured cold turkey with zero planning was probably the best way to go. I know this isn't a novel or new idea, but I said fuck it, let's roll with this and see if I can handle it. I wasn't doing this to be healthier or lose weight or any of that nonsense. | body | Funny you mention that. I didn't plan on having a one per month average, it just sort of worked out that way. One month I would read three books and others I wouldn't read at all. It really came down to how motivated I was at that particular time. I try to balance my reading between business and philosophy. If I really like an author, typically they have other suggested readings in the back, or they mention people who have inspired them within their book. It's the same principle as going on YouTube: you start watching "cat videos" and somehow end up watching "how to make magic mushrooms in your pressure cooker at home." Half of the fun is going along for the ride. This helps me create a backlog of stuff to look into also. |
