      "body": "Saludos @aputigbas, muy bonito el mensaje de monseñor, sin duda alguna está para reflexionar.\n\n----\n\nAhora bien, quiero compartir una pequeña orientación. Es importante que sepas que en steemit si sólo compartimos material de otra persona, así dejemos clara su fuente; si no le agregamos valor personal y el post se compone en su mayor porcentaje por contenido que no es propio, estamos cayendo en el denominado \"abuso de contenido\". Para evitar caer en este tipo de abuso, la recomendación es declinar el pago en el post, pero mi mejor recomendación es que siempre agregues valor original de modo que nuestro post se componga en su mayoría por contenido propia y de esta manera podamos ser bien recompensados.\n\nHay que tener claro que se debe plasmar la fuente de todo lo que no sea nuestro, por ejemplo, la imagen de este post tiene su fuente [aquí](https://twitter.com/nelsonbocaranda/status/1021740548825206785). DE LA CHIQUINQUIRÁ - LA FLORIDA\n\nMartes 24 de julio de 2018.\n\nQueridos hermanos: con mi saludo cordial y fraterno, agradezco la presencia de todos ustedes, en el inicio de mi ministerio episcopal como Pastor y Administrador Apostólico de esta Iglesia arquidiocesana capitalina, en esta eucaristía compartida con el pueblo que peregrina en Caracas y que por Providencia divina coincide con la fecha aniversario del natalicio del más ilustre hijo de este pedazo de Patria, el Libertador Simón Bolívar. No es fecha para exaltar a un héroe prometeico, sino para rescatar los valores de libertad, igualdad, rompimiento de las cadenas de cualquier esclavitud, la exaltación de la civilidad por encima de las gestas guerreras, y la entrega generosa de la vida por la causa de los oprimidos.\n\nLa palabra de Dios que acabamos de proclamar y escuchar nos recuerda, en la primera lectura tomada del libro del Éxodo cuál no debe ser la actitud del creyente ante el forastero, la viuda, el huérfano o el necesitado de ayuda. Por vía negativa es un espejo de la tentación de omisión insolidaria subyacente a la situación omnipresente, dramática y angustiosa que vivimos por la pobreza e incluso miseria generalizadas.\n\nEs el reverso negativo de la opción preferencial por los pobres hecha de solidaridad y misericordia como sello distintivo de encarnación evangélica en un presente con claros rasgos de inhumanidad insoportable. La pobreza aquí es múltiple: la material, clara y primariamente; pero también social, moral, espiritual. Pobreza espiritual doble: en su aspecto rechazable: caer en la mentira, la denigración, la doblez, el ansia violenta de poder, la acción sin escrúpulos. Pobreza, sin embargo, como actitud de humildad, de apertura a la Gracia, de abrirse a todo otro por “prójimo”, porque no se vive al nivel del tener, poder, placer.\n\nRespondemos con el salmo: “yo te amo, Señor, tú eres mi fortaleza”. Pero no nos quedamos sólo en palabras, como nos dice San Pablo a los Tesalonicenses. El testimonio, siendo imitadores del apóstol y sus discípulos, lleva “a probar la alegría del Espíritu Santo en medio de fuertes oposiciones”. El breve evangelio de Mateo que escuchamos nos pone también a prueba a nosotros. El primer mandamiento es amar al Señor con todo el corazón y con toda el alma. Este es el principal y primero, pero el segundo es semejante: “amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. Estos dos mandamientos contienen la ley entera y los profetas”.\n\nAquí radica lo más bello y transformante de la vocación cristiana: tener y comunicar esperanza contra toda desesperanza. Es la cara positiva de la realidad negativa que denuncia la primera lectura y que cargamos sobre nuestros hombros. En efecto, venimos a anunciar la alegría del evangelio, resumido en las bienaventuranzas, en particular las relativas a la vida, la paz y la esperanza. En nuestra cotidianidad ellas corresponden a los tres niveles del Bien Común: la supervivencia, la convivencia social, política, y el “buen vivir” moral trascendente, espiritual. Todo ello asentado en los “bienes mesiánicos”: la libertad de los hijos de Dios; la justicia como igualdad de fraternidad; la caridad como reconciliación y misericordia. Todo un programa evangélico de fidelidad al Señor y de dignificación de nuestros hermanos.\n\nInicio esta nueva etapa de mi ministerio episcopal con la convicción profunda de pedir al Espíritu Santo el don del discernimiento que debemos ejercer todos, ustedes y yo, en la seguridad de la unidad que nos otorga la gracia divina, mediante el análisis permanente de la realidad, la confrontación con el mensaje evangélico y la creatividad de acciones que den razón de la alegría y la esperanza. “Sin la sabiduría del discernimiento podemos convertirnos fácilmente en marionetas a merced de las tendencias del momento”. “El discernimiento no solo es necesario en momentos extraordinarios, o cuando hay que resolver problemas graves, o cuando hay que tomar una decisión crucial. Es un instrumento de lucha para seguir mejor al Señor. Nos hace falta siempre, para estar dispuestos a reconocer los tiempos de Dios y de su gracia, para no desperdiciar las inspiraciones del Señor, para no dejar pasar su invitación a crecer. Muchas veces esto se juega en lo pequeño, en lo que parece irrelevante, porque la magnanimidad se muestra en lo simple y en lo cotidiano” (G et E. 169).\n\nLa Iglesia se construye en la pluralidad y diversidad de sus miembros, señal positiva de fruto abundante por la riqueza de dones y cualidades puestas al servicio de todos, en particular de los más pobres y necesitados. Tomo pues, sobre mí, con “temor y temblor” (San Pablo), pero con la ayuda de la gracia, esta inesperada nominación que me hace el Papa Francisco. Intentaré, por tanto, con la ayuda de todos y cada uno, no defraudar la confianza depositada en mí por el Santo Padre. Una primera actitud es la que nos señala San Agustín: “para ustedes soy el obispo, con ustedes soy el cristiano”, aquél es el oficio, éste la gracia. Hay que serlo con apertura a todos, para que ninguno se pierda. Nuestra actitud, la mía y la de ustedes, debe ser la de la escucha, la fraternidad y la paternidad espiritual compartidas en espíritu de continuidad y renovación.\n\nEsto sólo es posible si somos “iglesia en salida”, “con olor a oveja”, es decir, inmersos con lucidez y valentía en una sociedad herida, desorientada, desanimada. El sufrimiento de la inmensa mayoría es, debe ser, también nuestro, y exige una actitud samaritana de entrega sacrificada, pero generosa y alegre. Las líneas trascendentales del Evangelio nos tienen que llevar a superar partidismos y visiones miopes y estrechas. El futuro de nuestra esperanza es una sociedad reconciliada en la verdad, la justicia y la misericordia, sin venganzas fratricidas ni memorias selectivas; este servicio se impone cristiana y patrióticamente, sin injerencias clericales ni maniqueísmos entre fe y política, para caminar con creatividad y coraje, en la seguridad de que quien da el incremento o el “más y mejor” es el Señor.\n\nComo nos dice el Papa Francisco: “Todos tienen el derecho de recibir el Evangelio. Los cristianos tienen el deber de anunciarlo sin excluir a nadie, no como quien impone una nueva obligación, sino como quien comparte una alegría, señala un horizonte bello, ofrece un banquete deseable. La Iglesia no crece por proselitismo sino «por atracción»” (EG. 14). “Por consiguiente, un evangelizador no debería tener permanentemente cara de funeral. Recobremos y acrecentemos el fervor, ‘la dulce y confortadora alegría de evangelizar, incluso cuando hay que sembrar entre lágrimas (…) Y ojalá el mundo actual que busca a veces con angustia, a veces con esperanza pueda así recibir la Buena Nueva, no a través de evangelizadores tristes y desalentados, impacientes o ansiosos, sino a través de ministros del Evangelio, cuya vida irradia el fervor de quienes han recibido, ante todo en sí mismos, la alegría de Cristo’” (EG. 10).\n\nEl crédito moral, la confianza social de que disponemos como Iglesia a partir de una vivencia religiosa presente en nuestro pueblo descansa en dos pilares: la “piedad” expresada hacia Cristo, la Virgen y algunos santos; y la aceptación por el servicio social-caritativo desplegado en circunstancias adversas. Esto no podemos ni debemos hacerlo solos. La colaboración de todos es urgente. Pero colaboración no es seguimiento ciego a “mi” proyecto o propuesta. Ni siquiera puede cerrarse a “los míos”, a los católicos, a los que piensan como yo; relegando ese inmenso mundo civil, bautizados o no, a la vera del camino o a la exclusión.\n\nLa reciente exhortación de la Conferencia Episcopal nos convoca a un “sursum corda”, a un arriba los corazones de humanización contra la desesperanza; de compromiso con obras que expresen la solidaridad de rigor; de plantear la exigencia de acción a largo plazo que exige formación y cultivo del espíritu para encarar los desafíos. La tarea que tenemos por delante es de todos. En continuidad y creatividad con lo que esta iglesia de Caracas ha desplegado a lo largo del tiempo, debemos reforzar los valores y virtudes que nos permitan que cualquier acción que emprendamos esté signada por el respeto, la ayuda mutua, la reconciliación, el perdón y la misericordia, con la actitud samaritana de que estamos salvando la vida, curando heridas con la satisfacción interior de ser hermanos y no enemigos.\n\nLos invito a que juntos emprendamos la suave carga de ser los auténticos constructores del mundo que deseamos, preludio de los bienes eternos en esta porción patria y del Pueblo de Dios que es Caracas. Me pongo a la disposición de todos, cuenten no sólo conmigo, sino también con mis colaboradores más cercanos, dispuestos a ser discípulos misioneros al servicio de todos, mujeres y hombres, niños, adultos y ancianos, pero primeramente de los más pobres y excluidos. En este quehacer nos acompañan la protección maternal de María Santísima y la fuerza transformadora del Señor, que en la imagen del Nazareno de San Pablo renueva el milagro del limosnero del Señor.
