      "body": "Unity is said to be one of the vital cords that binds people together. The only thing that brings peace among people is the character of unity. When the man was alive he used to advice his children about the merits and imperatives of living in unity because his sons used to fight all the time. Unfortunately for them death met their father and he went to the land of the ancestors. \n\nNow the sons were to manage the properties and all the wealth of their father. They started well in the beginning but as time goes on they began to show up this sore behaviour of disunity. This led them to the sharing of their father's property and each one of them left to his own way. As time went on they all misused their portion and even one of them ended in death. Before his death he had a severe stomach attach but his brothers turned death ears to him. Unity is the basis of a successful life. Without unity we cannot be successful in this life. This confirms the adage, \"two heads are better than one\".\nLet's all adapt the attitude of living in unity. It will help us to achieve our goals and purposes in life. Even the bible in Genesis 11 tells us about the power of unity. All the people around the world were one people and of one accord. The Lord even said these people are one and nothing can stop them from what they have planned to do.       "body": "But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen \n2Peter 3:18\n\n\nThe words of the Apostle Peter in the above scripture makes it clear that it is the responsibility of the believer to grow in grace. Every christian was given a measure of grace in the day he or she believed in Christ. And after that he is suppose to work out  for his growth in grace. \n\n\nYou don't sleep and wake up one time to expect walking in an incredible or strange grace, you've got to work it out. When you check our opening text it says we should grow in grace and knowledge. The \"and\" use here is the Greek \"kai\" which means that is or also. So in other words growing in grace is the same as increasing  in the knowledge of God. \n\nAfter receiving Christ as your Lord and personal Savior the next thing is to learn the word of God to be transformed into the very image of Christ. The standard for every Christian is Christ and God has set things in place so that we can meet the standard. But our meeting of God's standard is by our increase in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.\n\nMost believers of today do not like studying the word of God or things  of the Spirit but they want to experience greater grace.
