titleBest ways to travel alone
bodyAhhhhh the single, solo, un, table for one trip. To be honest, this is really my least favorite way to travel but I’d rather travel alone than not at all so sometimes you are your best and only travel companion. Be prepared to get annoyed, have a crying fit or two, feel awkward, look awkward and just well, be a person traveling alone. Roadtrips around the States, train tripping around Europe, jet hopping to Spain or Hokkaido, ferrying, biking, hiking, skiing and all manner of transport to a number of places, I’ve done it. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/wiyobqcm4h.jpg) All can be done alone - with a few things kept in mind. ATTENTION WOMEN: YOU ARE A TARGET (because the overwhelming large percentage of humans assaulted and kidnapped are women) When you are a woman traveling alone you will be looked at as a target by some people. THIS IS NOT OVERACTIONG. THIS IS A FACT. FOR FUCK’S SAKE, get yourself a shank, knife, some mace. BE ON ALERT FOR SKETCHY BEHAVIOR. HOSTELS are just that hostel. Ladies, now this is no joke and these stories are 100% true so please, please for the love of all things sacred, pay attention. Hostels can be awesome when traveling in a group, however on your own I would highly discourage for the following reasons. After my wedding, four of us went up to Edinburgh for a weekend trip. We stayed in my first hostel which was non eventful, nondescript and fine. What did come out of that stay was a story and scary af information that made me extremely leary of most hostels. My newly beloved was English and had done the whole lad’s holiday around Europe thing before we had married, so he was a well traveled bloke who had slept on train platforms and such with his four other mates. Mates, lads, blokes. That’s the point - five guys. Five English lads around Europe. Not many people are going to really mess with them because they will fuck a dude up that messes with them. A single woman? Ha. You are not taken seriously. You will be taken sexually, especially if you are young or look young, but this goes for allllllll women. Most countries don’t take young women seriously as you’ll soon be reading. He began on a story about a hostel is some European country where there were two Spanish girls who had been watched while they slept by the hostel front desk guy. Like he came in when they were sleeping and watched them. Um, what and what the fuck. Seriously dude. Not ok and fucking creepy as fuck! Another friend in Korea was staying the night in a Korean bath house, which is totally legit and a great night, but for her, she woke up with a guy sucking on her toe… Yes. A middle aged Korean man sucking on her toe whilst she slept and he played with his tiny dick. Again. Dudes. This is not ok behavior. Seriously. Not ok. When I lived in Japan and Korea, as a young white woman, I was eye fucked, rubbed on, masterbated on, stared at, licked at, yelled at, you name it - it happened on the subway every week without fail. So just know that happens a lot too around the world. BE AWARE. Men will follow you. I’ve had men follow me. Take photos of me on buses sneakily. And these just aren’t old dudes they’re young dudes too. Some seriously not ok fucked up shit. Like butt touching in Spain by the waiter on the beach. Yeah. Gross and disgusting and not ok Spanish man. I always stay in an AirBnB that I’ve given the address to someone at home incase I’m murdered or something horrible happens. I think ahead. At least someone at home will know where to start looking for the body right? Another friend told me of her Japanese woes when a Korean who was terrified of ‘fan death’ kept her from sleeping all night. (Yes, it’s a real thing. Some Koreans believe that you will die if the fan is kept on at night including the AC.) So she and the Korean girl had an all out on/off again war over the AC on a sweltering hot humid Tokyo summer’s night in a hostel. Traveling anywhere in the world by yourself needs extra safety precautions especially as a woman. In certain areas you literally cannot travel alone unless you want to end up kidnapped by the mafia or drug cartel and ransomed off. So I tend to stick to areas with lots of people, hopefully some of them I know, in AirBnBs, at beaches, cafes, galleries and cities. You know, where there are more witnesses. I travelled to Miami and Philadelphia by myself and I was absolutely fine. An adorable camper with other AirBnB guests on site I hung out with, a Lyft to the beach or cafe where I would walk and beach everyday, walks to my local deli for the most amazing chocolate cake and ciggies. I kept in areas that I knew were safe and walked in areas I knew were safe with lots of people. I take Lyfts or Ubers because they are legit and trackable. Don’t pack a lot of stuff. You want to be streamlined so you’re not faffing about with your luggage and get taken unaware. A backpack, carryon and purse should really be it. Your stuff has a higher, much higher, chance of being stolen if you’re bumbling about. Traveling alone, you have to be organized or shit gets frustrating and annoying fast. Know where your important things like cash, phone, cards, passport, water are at all times. Train yourself to put important items back in the same spot. Every. Single. Time. That way if it’s not there, you can look through your stuff, look through it again and know yes, in fact, that thing is gone. Traveling alone is not my favorite because I am a social eater. I love to eat with other people. It’s my thing. My jam. I hate sitting in restaurants alone. But fuck it I do it. In Frankfurt I had one last night on a business trip by myself so I went to the sushi restaurant and sat at the bar in front of the chef. I was uncomfortable af but I had amazing sushi from a really kind chef. Room service is also my friend on trips alone. I like room service and convenience store runs. As is street food. Acceptable social eating alone situation. Museums, cafes, theater shows, movies, shopping, archive seeing, etc are all great by yourself activities which I’ve done all over the world safely. I am a INTJ through and through so I need a lot of alone time which traveling by myself allows me. I’m like an anthropological flailing flamingo who loves the beach. I love travelling...

titleI have seen monster in Forest
bodyI've seen “monsters” in the forest. As a child I saw a werewolf. At least, that was what I kept telling everyone, until the ridicule became too much and I couldn't take the teasing any longer. It wasn't long before I stopped talking about it altogether. But I’ll never forget what I saw that day— the horrible image of the creature is burned into my mind like a fresh snapshot.*italic* ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/y5tmjpqm0l.jpg) I saw it very clearly; it stood directly across from me, merely 20 yards away. The monster and I locked eyes for what seemed an eternity, before it put its head down and slowly walked off into the pines. In a panic, I sprinted the mile or so back to camp and locked myself inside the pickup truck. It took a long while before my breathing returned to normal. I had to be coaxed out at supper time. As I picked over my meal, I kept a wary eye on the darkness outside the ring of firelight. Every snap of twig and rustle of leaves kept me on high alert and close to panic. I chose to sleep inside the vehicle that entire camping trip, instead of in the tent with my brothers. It wasn't a full moon that weekend, but I wasn't going to take any chances. I never went back up to the mountain after that. It wasn't until 35 years later that I happened to see a photo of a bear with mange and was able to identify my “werewolf”! You tell me. Does this look like a werewolf to you? While fishing in the Trinity Alps wilderness, I came upon a giant salamander. I have seen my share of salamanders, but they didn't look anything like the one I found that day. At nearly a foot long, and covered in dark spots, its size was so intimidating that I was afraid to lift it from the current. It might have bitten me or could have been poisonous for all I knew, so I left it alone and didn't get a photo. I didn't catch any fish that day. As a twenty-something adult, my friends and I were out hiking, and decided to rest near a stream. While wading in the crystal-clear glacier runoff, we came upon a wig. It was resting on the streambed near the banks, waving in the current like ghastly tendrils of brown kelp. It was disturbing to find someone's hair, high up in the mountains, 10 miles from the trailhead. A friend fished it out with a stick and left it in the sunshine to dry. We reported our find to the official manning the ranger kiosk on our way out of the national park. I’ve always wondered if anyone checked in with Lost and Found, looking for their hair.

titleWhat Indian boys think about Chinese girls
bodyI have many Chinese Friends. Let me share my thought. I live in Malaysia so everyday I came across lot of Chinese people. Because In Malaysia we have 3 type of people Malay, Malaysian-Indian and Malaysian-Chinese. I even came across some Mainland Chinese people. Even my girlfriend look like Complete Chinese because she is from Bhutan. (LoL). Chinese girls are so cute, the way they dress look so smart and sexy. As we all know Indians have a huge weakness for fair skin and these girls are very fair. As a Indian I will definitely date a Chinese girl if I get a chance. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/56mku1tzrl.jpg) But mostly Chinese girls do not prefer Indian subcontinent guys because of the skin-color, staring attitude, body hair some even have the misconception that we eat smelly food and not so hygienic. But there are lot of difference in between Chinese people based on different-different region. If you are going after a Malaysian-Chinese girl it could be bit difficult for you as most of the girls do not prefer Indian people because of their skin-color. Some are open minded but depends on your luck. But still you have the chance because they already came across lot of Indian people and it depends on you. If you can speak their language and the less body hair you have high is the probability. I have some American-Chinese friends, they are very very open minded but you need to be smart enough for them. If you are going after Mainland Chinese people then task is tough for you. Firstly you need to learn their Language (Mandarin). Secondly you have to change your skin-color (Not possible I know), thirdly you need to remove all your visible body hairs forth you need to convince them that you are Hygienic, and you don’t eat Smelly food. But still you have the chance.

titleThis thing I learnt too late in life
bodyScene - 1 I was in 9th standard. I told my parents that I need ‎₹20 for my project and I am going to my friend's home for the same. My friend said the same thing to his parents that he is coming to my room and bought ₹20. We both went to a shop having PLAY STATION and started playing. And here is the TWIST ------ My father was passing by. He saw my bicycle there and therefore he came in to check what I was doing there. That shop had two rooms, outer room was for daily need stuffs and inner room had a play station. I was shouting like hell - You are gone, you are gone!!! and then I saw my father's face through the curtains. *Silence* But I was damn sure that I heard you are gone now and then the giggling noise coming from the outer room. That damn shopkeeper for sure.* Aao ghar par (come home) My father's only words. I know I am Dumb! What? You want to know what happened at my home. One might think that I was beaten up very VERY badly. But NO, only the words with perfect pinch of emotions over them, were enough. That day at Home I realized and learned that one should never lie to their parents. Scene - 2 I was in 9th standard. I was on the verge of getting committed. I used to talk to her through messages on my first ever mobile phone. I was a Newbie. I didn't know that they have something like Message Packs and stuffs. I used to send messages from my main balance. Unfortunately, I send over 100 messages on the very first day. Obviously didn't have enough balance. Asked my father to recharge it (or give me some money for the same which was really not possible from SCENE 1). What? But it had ₹100 yesterday. What did you do? Where did it go? My father asked. I realized that I am the dumbest person in this whole universe. But it was too late. I had a chat with my friend. I replied. And here is the TWIST ------ Ohh. Show me the messages. He said. I have deleted them. I replied with a litre of sweat on my face. I realized that the older me wasn't the most dumbest person in this whole universe, the newer me was. But it was too late again. :P I know I am Dumb! What? You want to know what happened after that. One might think that I was beaten up and this time for real and my first ever mobile phone was snatched away from me. But NO, only the words with perfect pinch of emotions over them, were enough. That day I realized and learned that one should never hide anything from their parents. Scene - 3 I was in 9th standard again. I had a habit of taking actions. I never stopped myself from doing what I am having a thought of. For me, the order of priority was - Do something > Say something > Think something. We were having a get-together party with my father's friends. There was this boy, two years younger than me who was really annoying. He was disturbing everyone. But everyone was busy with their gatherings, they were talking and thus ignoring him. I was sitting alone, Eating and was enjoying my own Company. After every minute, he was coming to me and was annoying me as well. So, I followed my theory and acted. I stood up and, picked him up by his collar and slapped him. I know I am Dumb! What? You want to know what happened after that. One might think that I was beaten up and this time for so real. And here is the TWIST ------ It did happen. Yes, I was beaten up. That day I realized and learned that one should never slap father's friend's son in front of everyone. Kidding!! I thought that may be because everyone was there It was necessary for my father to do so. But NO, That wasn't the reason. Every time I made a new mistake. I learned something. But, I didn't know that I was missing something every time, and that was - Only the words with perfect pinch of emotions over them, are enough. This is what they want me to understand (along with the mistakes, obviously) because - ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/ul9isw92ua.jpg) Time to read the Bold and Italic Lines again I was only able to see what was visible but was unable to see what was necessary. I didn’t dig a little deeper. The same applies to our lives. Learning something New? Always dig a little deeper. Who knows what else are you missing. By the way, It took me 7 years to understand this correlation. I know I am Dumb.

titleStop dominating Girl
bodySlut shaming. I’m at the Tilted Kilt with some friends. The Tilted Kilt sort of like hooters. The waitresses dress like this: ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/xzfw8p2ev4.jpg) [Source](www.google.com) One (of my friends) comments that they’d consider themselves failures of a father if they had a daughter who worked in a place like that. The other guys agree. “Why?” I ask. I don’t see anything wrong with what they’re doing. They’re working hard and supporting themselves just like everyone else. So what if it involves wearing slightly less clothing that the average person? “Because.” they respond. They don’t seem to even have a reason. To them that’s just the way things are and they don’t question it. I’m watching TV with my roommate. A scene comes on where a women is walking outside with a shirt on which apparently he found too revealing. “I’d never let my girlfriend go outside dressed like that.” Yes, “let”. As in his girlfriends can only dress the way he lets them dress. I’m too shocked to even say anything. I hate when other men act this way. I don’t get it; it’s so obnoxious. And there’s absolutely no reason for it at all. The only reason men shame women for doing thing that they see as “slutty” is because they’re unwilling to question the social norms that they were raised with. I don’t know if this is out of fear or sheer stupidity, but it bothers the hell out of me. Guys, stop doing this.

titleJack ma said inspiring thing
bodyJack Ma once said, 'When Selling to close friends and family, no matter how much you're selling to them, they will always feel you're earning their money, no matter how cheap you sell to them, they still wouldn't appreciate it.' ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/503llef7o6.jpg) There will always be people who do not care about your Costs, Time, Effort, they rather let other people cheat them, allowing others to earn, than supporting someone they know. Cause in their heart, they will always be thinking, 'How much did he earn from me?' instead of "How much did he SAVE/MAKE for me?" This is a classic example of a poor person's mentality! How did the rich people become rich? One of the main reason is that they are willing to SUPPORT their associates business, taking care of one another interests thus naturally they get back more. Your Friends will, in turn, support you, thus the circle of wealth continues to grow and grow! Simple Logic, you will start to get rich once you understand it. Jack Ma on Sales: 'When doing Sales, the first people who will trust you will be Strangers, Friends will be shielding against you, fair-weather friends will distance from you. The family will look down upon you.' The day you finally succeed, paying the bill for every get-together dinner, entertainment, you will realize: Everyone else is present except the Strangers. Do you get the meaning of this? We need to treat our dear Strangers better! And even more so to Friends who know what you are doing and yet still SUPPORT you! Let us treat STRANGERS who buy from us better from today. They are your BEST customers. Darling ;

titleThis childhood thing now I realized
bodyNot childhood, but adolescence, does that count too? I was about 15, third year in high school as we call it here. One fine summer day a fellow student I knew, but had rather little contact with, asked me out of the blue if I was interested in joining him for a swim in the local swimming pool. I’ve always been a rather shy kid, didn’t have many friends and never socialized well, so I was happy with the invitation and accepted with pleasure. So we went swimming. During our time together, I remember a continuous feeling of awkwardness, something wasn’t really right, but I couldn’t put my finger to it. We must have spent about two hours in the pool, just the two of us, no other people we knew were around. We swam, chatted, had a drink and a snack and returned home. After that, things were as they were before. For the remainder of our college years, we were OK with each other but never spoke about it, never mentioned it anymore. He never invited me to personal or social events again. It was only 10 years later at a college reunion I found out he was the leading figure of the gay community in our school. Apparently many of my fellow students were gay and there had been a vibrant and flourishing gay community right in front of my eyes and all of the six years I had spent in that college, I had been totally and utterly oblivious! It was only then that I realized there was no other explanation for what had actually happened that summer day than that this was an active scouting by the school gay community to check if I’d would be ‘eligible for membership’... As I had always been rather shy and closed off, I guess they had always left open the possibility I could be a closet gay, so they had figured it was time to put me to the test. It at least explained the wide, all revealing shorts he was wearing at the time and him spending a lot of time not swimming but walking or sitting by the side by the pool showing off ‘the goods’... Imaging something like this at the pool side: (Oh yes, I had a lot of fun scrolling the internet looking for this picture ;-)!) ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/7sd8yemuvt.jpg) I guess I failed the test miserably… A few years later, the guy died from AIDS. He’s the only person I’ve known in real life that has died from AIDS. I liked him, he was a kind person, but I guess I dodged the bullet called HIV there…

titleEthereum you need to know about
bodyIt is Vitalik Butterin, the founder of Ethereum, and he is still alive. He is a talented young man, and it looks like that Ethereum is a project of his entire life…. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/6wvuojw0yb.jpg) [Image](www.google.com) Ethereum is one of the major digital currencies with a reputation for the ability to process transactions more quickly and cheaply compared with other crpytos. It is not undeniable that Ethereum has undergone a tough period in 2018 just like other cyrptos. However, this can be attributed to the announcements made by countries like China and the US of their intention to introduce stringent regulations on cryptocurrencies, among other reasons. Even with this reality, the idea that Ethereum is dying is far-fetched because there are certain support structures that make Ethereum a network that’s here to stay. First, Ethereum is more than just a cryptocurrency. It is an extensive platform that allows the creation of other tokens on top of its platform as well as the creation of smart contracts. Currently, there are many tokens that have been forked from Ethereum. Second, it’s the preferred ICO platform for most startups and in fact, the market capitalization of Ethereum is only second to that of Bitcoin. This means that investors still have confidence in the stability of the Ethereum network. Third, more and more Fortune 500 corporations like Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, and Intel are joining Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, a leading blockchain initiative whose main agenda is to create an open-source framework on the Ethereum platform for blockchain-based applications. This can help drive up its demand and value. Fourth, by developing the ERC-20 standard, which is s a protocol for proposing improvements to the Ethereum network, the platform is enabling the standardization of tokens and reduction of fraud. This is evidence enough that Ethereum has a future. In fact, Ethereum co-creator Steven Nerayoff said the value of the cryptocurrency could triple in 2018 because businesses in various industries are realizing the inherent value of Ethereum's protocol. If Ethereum can manage to deal with the issue of scaling problem which, interestingly, has been brought about by the increased amount of traffic on the platform, the future can only be bright for the platform. One more ICO of my list >>BASIS NEURO - MENTAL - CONTROL HEADSET. I've been dreaming about this gadget since childhood! The Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology allows controlling the usual everyday devices with the help of MENTAL COMMANDS!

titleEthereum you need to know about
bodyIt is Vitalik Butterin, the founder of Ethereum, and he is still alive.
