If they were to become victim of a hack, and unless they have a way to cover those losses, you would lose your digital assets and essentially lose your money. They have ridiculous fees for their services and often take a ridiculous amount of time to fund your account. With the volatility of cryptocurrency, missing an opportunity to purchase a crypto asset by minutes, hours, or days can possibly cause you to miss out on potential profits. However, dealing on the peer to peer level isn’t like that. Peer to peer is trading directly with another human being, meaning you cut out the middleman and secure the best deal possible directly with the person you are transacting with. Our main goal at Epic is to establish an international peer to peer network, where users interact directly with other users and utilize Epic as a safeguard.\n\n\n\n**<h1>Introducing the EpicTrader Platform</h1>**\n\nHere at Epic, we see the need for consumers to have a platform where they can buy and sell cryptocurrency with fiat, on a peer to peer level. A platform that is very simple to use, that requires no previous cryptocurrency or trading experience. After all simple is better, especially when you are dealing with buying and selling digital assets. By using our EpicTrader P2P Platform, sellers can easily liquidate their Bitcoin, Ethereum, Epic, and other altcoins directly to the fiat of their choice. Our platform acts as a 3rd party escrow service, simply holding and locking users cryptocurrency for the duration of an ad and completed trade. This ensures the user purchasing the cryptocurrency is guaranteed to receive that cryptocurrency. If a user does not have the correct amount, or any, cryptocurrency to match an ad, there’s no way he will be able fulfill that ad.\n\nCurrently we have 6 payment method options available: 1) PayPal 2) Paytm 3) Alipay 4) WeChat Pay 5) Western Union 6) Bank Transfers. \n\nWhen a user creates an ad for selling his or her cryptocurrency, they we will be able to select as many payment options as they would like to receive payment. When buyers select an ad, the seller’s payment information will displayed allowing the buyer to send the fiat funds directly to the seller. This enables faster payment times as the fiat payments do not have to go through our platform first.\n\nAfter payment is sent, the buyer will notify the sellers by selecting a “I have sent payment” button within the trade transaction. The seller will get an email or text notification saying payment has been sent for that particular ad. Once the seller confirms payment has been received, he will release the cryptocurrency to the buyer by selecting the “I have received payment” button within the trade transaction.  If for any reason the seller refuses to release the cryptocurrency, or if he claims to not have received payment, the buyer has the power to supply payment proof to our support team. It must include a timestamp, payment amount, and must match the account information provided by the seller. Since the cryptocurrency is locked for the duration of the trade, the support team at Epic can verify the buyers support ticket and manually release the cryptocurrency to the buyer.\n\n**<h1>EpicTrader’s Platform Utility Coin - EPIC</h1>**\n\nEPIC is a masternode and proof-of-stake cryptocurrency specifically designed for use with our EpicTrader platform. There are three benefits for using EPIC on our platform:\n\t1) Users are able to pay the fees generated on the platform with EPIC.\n\t\tAll successful trades are subject to a 1% trading fee.\n\t2) When you use EPIC to pay fees, you will receive a 50% discount on those fees.\n\t3) Every quarter 50% of all platform fees will be distributed to EPIC masternode holders.\n\t\tA snapshot of the active masternodes at the time of generating the quarterly report will \t  \tbe taken and those masternode holders will be credited.\n\nIn order to run an EPIC masternode users will need 10,000 EPIC coins. The team is very busy behind the scenes working on partnerships, the p2p platform, exchanges, etc. I'll cover most of everything that is coming up for EPIC!\n\n_**1) Epic coin will be added to our [P2P Platform](epictrader.io) within the next few days.**_\nOnce EPIC is added, users will be able to pay the fees on the platform using EPIC, and enjoy a 50% discount on those fees. Additionally, users can buy/sell EPIC for fiat!\n\n_**2) Light-paper and road-map are scheduled for end of November.**_\nAs the current white-paper stands now, it is outdated and unappealing. We will have our first version of our light-paper out by the end of November, and we have full intentions to release the new, full white-paper by the end of the year.\n\n_**3) Investors in China are interested in using the platform but want it in better working condition.**_\nOver the course of the past few weeks, we've had a Team Adviser over in China speaking to potential investors and platform users. From what we've gathered and have been told by our team member, the Chinese investors are very interested in using our P2P Platform, but feel it is lacking in it's current state. Once we bring the platform up to speed, we could potentially have 1000 users or so willing to use the platform right out of the gate.\n\n_**4) New exchange listing by the second week in December.**_\nI won't say the name of the new exchange just yet, but by the second week in December we will be listed on a new exchange. If you know who are partners are, you can take a good guess at which exchange it will be.\n\n_**5) Q1 2019 we plan for another larger exchange listing.**_\nThe community talks and we listen. General consensus is one exchange in particular and we are targeting to get listed on that exchange in Q1 of 2019. We are planning on early Q1 if all goes well.\n\n_**6) We will be getting Epic registered and are already in the process to do so.**_\nTo prove we are a legitimate company and to solidify our partnerships, EPIC we will be getting registered and we are actually in the process of doing so. We plan to be fully registered and have all the licenses we may need by the end of January 2019 at the latest.\n\n_**7) Kubo and Aeryus will be added to our P2P Platform.**_\nOur new partners, Kubo and Aeryus, will have their coins added to our P2P Platform once we get it fully operational. Both companies deal in payment processing and point of sale, so this will help them increase liquidity and ease of crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto. \n\n_**8) Epic physical gold coin marketing campaign will kick off in Q1 2019**_\nIf you've been paying attention to our social medias, you've seen some pretty EPIC physical gold plated coins! We made 200 for a limited run and will be using them in a marketing campaign that we will start in Q1 2019. \n\nI know a lot of users have asked why aren't we marketing any now? To be completely honest and transparent, the EPIC Team feel our P2P Platform in it's current state is not ready for mass adoption. We've gone through the platform and found some small issues and bugs. While the platform is completely usable right now, we want to make the platform bulletproof and more user friendly by January of 2019. I don't feel we should be marketing a platform that doesn't work as it should. Below are some of the questions most commonly asked.\n\n_**Q1) Will we inform community of white paper and road-map update?**_\nA1) Of course. We are planning to release a light-paper and road-map by the end of November. The full white paper will come before end of the year.\n\n_**Q2) Licensing work for P2P Platform (working with fiat) in the US and other countries?**_\nA2) There is no fiat that will actually pass through the platform. Since we will have payment methods (eg PayPal, Paytm, Western Union, etc) integrated, the fiat will pass through those methods. They are already set up and licensed, registered, and regulated.\n\n_**Q3) Will there be an original Epic mobile wallet that has masternodes and staking?**_\nA3) We would eventually love to make this happen, but as of now there is no set date or quarter yet. Our main focus is on the P2P Platform. You can use Linda coin’s MyStakingWallet mobile app to run MNs and stake for now. When this project was first created, the original founder was rather ambitious and wanted to have both the P2P Platform and Marketplace (like an eBay for crypto) done by Q1 2019. Since the change in command, the new team has realized that we are nowhere near ready to start on that marketplace. We’ve found some issues with the P2P Platform that we are hashing out, and our sole concentration is on that. I cannot say whether we will ever get to that marketplace or not. Some of our partners have discussed similar things, so it may be in everyone’s best interest to combine forces and create that together.\n\n_**Q6) Tell us more about negotiations with Kubo and Aeryus.**_\nA6) The CEO for Aeryus, Nick, was on the call and described in great detail how Aeryus works, what it’s future looks like, and how EPIC falls in to piece. Kubo has also talked many times about this. Just to summarize: Aeryus is a company that deals with blockchain developments, payment processing developments, and cryptocurrency encapsulation. Imagine a mobile wallet that allows you to send crypto through a text message. Imagine large vendors using payment processing on a blockchain level for significant lower fees. There is email verification, mobile phone verification, and ID verification. Are they necessary to use our platform? No. You can create ads and trade without any KYC. However, users do have the option to trade with other users who are verified and reject those who are not. Rank system and account sale? (Essentially the more successful trades an account makes the higher rank it gets. And having the ability to sale an account.) No, we do not plan to have this option.
