The rhythmic crash of waves against the rocks below created a symphony of serenity, captivating my senses and igniting a deep appreciation for Bali's natural wonders.\nMy favourite spot to eat was at 'Padang Padang Sari Guesthouse'. The owners were more than kind, the food was made with much love. Not typical indonesian, but also not typical western. \n\nContinuing northward, I found myself immersed in the bohemian vibes of Canggu, a laid-back enclave beloved by surfers and digital nomads alike. Days were spent exploring quaint cafes, browsing artisanal boutiques, and catching waves at Batu Bolong Beach. Evenings unfolded in a kaleidoscope of colors as I savored the best vegan burgers at 'Burgreens' against the backdrop of fiery sunsets painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. The markets were cute and the variation of tropical fruits touched my heart. \n\nBut perhaps the highlight of my Bali escapade was my retreat to the idyllic Gili Islands, a trio of paradise isles nestled off the northwest coast of Lombok. Here, time seemed to stand still as I surrendered to the blissful tranquility of palm-fringed beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. Snorkeling amidst kaleidoscopic coral gardens, cycling around the car-free pathways, and savoring fresh coconut water straight from the husk became cherished moments etched in my memory. Nightlife at Gili Trawangan, honeymoon-vibes at Gili Meno and relaxing at Gili Air. A combination to fall in love. \n\nAs I bid farewell to Bali, I carried with me a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences and a profound sense of gratitude for the beauty and diversity of this enchanting island paradise.
