After Barack Obama shattered the stigma that a Black Man could never be President of the United States, the immediate follow up from the DNC was \"it's time for a woman\". They gave little regard to the woman that they put up front and placed Hillary Clinton as their Chosen One. \n\nWhat the DNC failed to realize is, even though Black vote majority democratic in the United States, we are not beholden to any party and we have a very long memory of things. Hillary Clinton?! The same Hillary Clinton who endorsed the Crime Bill that Prosecuted many young Black Men in a system that is tainted with racial injustice? The same Hillary Clinton that called young Black Men \"SUPER PREDATORS\"? And her message? \"I'm a Woman\". Well, that wasn't enough for Black People. The \"Hot Sauce\" in my purse wasn't enough for Black People. The visits to Black Churches and the endorsement of the CBC wasn't enough for Black People. \nWalking around with Trayvon Martin's mom wasn't enough for Black People. We would never trust her.\n\nNow, they are giving us another Prosecutor of Black Men. Kamala Harris. I've watched her closely over the past four years since President Obama called her the \"finest A.G in America\" and I knew that she would be propelled into the National spotlight and would make a bid for the Presidency. And, of course, like any other Democrat - is trying to play the \"Race Card\" and use identity Politics to manipulate Black People. She states that she is Black but doesn't state that she is Indian, which I would find offensive if I were Indian. [ What? Do Indian votes not count?] Black People are rejecting Kamala Harris and the media and the DNC doesn't care and are still trying to sell us on Mrs. Harris even though we have taken the time to research her record before she became a Senator and replied with a resounding \"Awwww Hell No!\" \n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTFYLV6syYVsLL3aZxaNbHkHxXZEAsY2SqHcmozTk6gN1/image.png)\n\nRadio Host Charlamagne Da God, has been endorsing her for the past two years as she has made sporadic visits to the show and is never truly questioned about the things that CthaGod claims that he stands for. He doesn't ask her about her choosing to Prosecute instead of Defending Black Men; knowing that the lack of good Public Defenders is one of the problems with the Criminal Justice system that leads to mass incarceration. He doesn't ask her why she rarely brings her husband out in public. Is she trying to hide the fact that he's white? We really don't care. But, we don't want to hear about all the African American love you have at the same time. \n\nBlack Men are now being called misogynists for not standing behind her and waiting to see what other candidates have to offer. The same Black Men that voted majority for Hillary in 2016. The same Black Men that cheered Tezlyn Figaro for her candid interview on \"The Breakfast Club\" just last week. Only to have the same people call Kamala Harris back in to help her do damage control.\n\nWe are not going. We will not be manipulated. We are not stupid. We will vote our values and will vote with those who fall in line with our values. We will not be told who to vote for. The Democratic Party had their Chosen One in 2016 and they have their Chosen One now.       "body": "I'm a black man living in America and I have been seeing my people go crazy over Marvel's latest film, \"Black Panther\". I'm not really puzzled but I am amazed at the success of the Marketing Machine of the Walt Disney company. They seized the moment. They capitalized on the socio-political climate and strategically released the movie during \"Black History\" month. Now, if you thought a black Storm Trooper was breaking the glass ceiling or Hermione being portrayed by a black woman or even \"Luke Cage\" on Netflix with it's empowering message; \"Black Panther\" was able to attract Black People in the way that Trekkies are drawn to Klingon speech classes. [After all, who wouldn't want to learn to speak Klingon?]\n\nWe did have other Black heroes and \"Luke Cage\" also had a predominantly black cast like most other films put out by black movie makers. But, this one was a about a Superhero from Africa. Blacks in America reach out and identify with Africa even though they may have never visited. Why? Well, unlike many other people in America who actually immigrated, We, Black Americans were stripped of our culture. Ask any white person in America about their heritage and they will be able to to tell you that they have a German, Italian, Polish or other ancestry. With Ancestry comes heroes of legend. This is something that Black America lacks. So, a character created by Stan Lee will have to suffice- for now.  \n\n\"Black Panther\" will have to serve as the gateway to the Motherland- for now. \n\nI'm glad that people are wanting to connect with Africa in a more realistic way and are bringing to life the heroes within themselves. As, I work with the African-based blockchain www.Forus.Global , I hope that more people will want to make another real connection, one that will close the financial gap between those who go to the movies and those who make the movies. \n\nI'm hoping my people will take empowerment serious and will go beyond chants. We have an opportunity now. The world is watching.
