      "body": "Matthew 28:18-20\n\nIn the secular world, individuals have different callings or vocations. Likewise, in the church of God, people are involved in various areas of work like ushering, singing, cleaning, working with children, leading the HCF, etc. However, there is a ministry that is compulsory for every member regardless of our involvement in God`s vineyard. It`s evangelism.\n\nJesus, the son of God, affirms His sovereignty over all creations. It is in reference to this that He speaks of His power to redeem, deliver and defend His people. His mediatorial government extends over principalities and powers. \"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth\" (Matthew 28:18). On the strength of His power and authority, He sent forth His disciple and all believers - old, young, literate, and illiterate - to preach. The qualification required to take up the assignment is to be born-again.\n\nOur lord was unambiguous about the great commission. He told His immediate disciples and who believe through their preaching: \"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature\" (Mark 16:15). This is every believer's ministry. Someone rightly said the believers' motto should be \"ONE WAY, ONE JOB\". Unfortunately, many of them today have neglected this all-important assignment. We remain in the church, while the lord asks us to go out into the world.\n\nWe have various methods of carrying out this great commission. These include distribution of Christian books, tracts, magazines, audio/video CDs, person-to-person witnessing, preaching in the vehicle or public places, etc.\n\nThe field of witnessing is vast because the gospel is for all people - white, coloured - in all nations, whatever their religions or creed.       "body": "The passion for souls to an earnest and great concern to see sinners converted. In its border meaning, it includes getting such converts fully established in the Lord and in the fellowship of the brethren (Galatians 4:19, Hebrew 10: 25). \n\nThe text mirrors Apostle Paul`s passion for souls and, especially, his affection for the believers in Thessalonica.\n\nApostle Paul and his fellow laborers - Silas and Timotheus - endured hardship for the sake of the believers in Thessalonica. He said though they \"had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated\", they were not deterred to the point of abandoning the work. What great progress the churches of God would make if the workers, ministers, and members are like Paul and his partners! Those who would succeed in serving God must be ready to persevere even if it meant suffering.\n\nIt is to his credit and testimony of his conscience that Paul labored to win and mature new converts while maintaining an unblemished character and behavior. \"Ye are witnesses and God also, how Holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe\" (1 Thessa. 2:10). Our lives must be exemplary to those we lead, mentor, and mold for the Lord. As a believer, you must not be a reproach to the cause of Christ.\n\nLike a spiritual father, Paul comforted those who were going through persecution and other forms of suffering as a result of their faith in Christ. \"As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children\". (1 Thessa. 2:11)\n\nOur passion for souls will compel us to follow up and visit the believers to comfort and encourage them to continue in the faith, making them realize that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God  (Acts 14:1 to the end). Also, we must make them realize the importance of the daily feeding of the word of God, communing with Him in prayer, evangelism, and regular attendance at the church`s weekly meetings.",

      "body": "Galatians 5:13-15\nRomans 12:3-10\n\nFrom the text above, we discovered the scriptural explanation of the relationship of the members of the body of Christ. The  Bible is not silent on the duty of each believer in the church. Indeed, it emphasises the possibility, necessity and responsibility of serving the body of Christ. The New Testament paints a clear picture of what is meant by the Body of Christ, the Church.\n\nThe church  is likened to a bride and members of the church to the flock being watched/tended by the Shepherd. The Church is also likened to a kingdom where Jesus Christ is the ruling King. The Church is also called the family of God, where Jesus Christ is the Head. She is described as a building whose foundation is Jesus Christ. Over and above all these, the Church is referred to as the Body of Christ. All these metaphors are used for the Church.\n\nTHE UNITY OF BELIEVERS IN CHRIST\n\nRomans 12:$-5\n1 Corin. 12:12-14\n1 Corin. 10:17\nGal. 3:26-29\nJohn 17:20 -21\nEphesians. 2:10-22\nEph. 4:4-6\n\nThe word of God emphatically dwells on the unity of the church, the body of Christ. In the twelfth verse, it says, \"the body is one\", and this truth of oneness in the body runs through the verses. Through there is unity in the body, there is also diversity in the function of the members . This is similar to the human body. While we speak of only one body, there are several parts of the body - head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, legs, toes. Through these parts of the body are several, they all in unity constitute the body.\n\nThe Church ought to be one just as the members of the physical body is one. All the members of the church (blood washed and saved) ought to know that Christ placed them in His body for a  purpose. At salvation. the Holy Spirit baptizes (puts) the new believer into the body of Christ: \"for by one spirit are we all baptized into one body\" (verse 13). That one body consists of all \"Jews or Gentiles...bond or free\". As soon as we are born again, all tribal, national, social, professional or academic discriminations are removed and we are fused into one identity - the body of Christ.\n\nEPHESIANS 4:3-6\n\nHere we see very clearly how the Holy Spirit emphasises the unity of the body. This is the prayer of the lord in John`s gospel: \"JOHN 17:20-21\"",

      "body": "Galatians 5:22-23\n\nJohn 15:1-8\n\nIn Christendom, there is an emphasis on Christian character. Everyone appears to know that the true New Testament Christian life has a striking manifestation of a Christlike pattern of character. The Scripture gives this character pattern a pungent expression in Peter`s second epistle: \"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance: and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor fruitfull in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ\" (2 Peter 1:5-8).\n\nWHAT IS MEANT BY THE EXPRESSION \"FRUIT OF SPIRIT?\"\n\nThese true Christian virtues are collectively called \"the fruitss of the spirit\" and couched in the best words in Galatians 5:22-23. Here, we have the exact definition of the total Christian personality and a beautiful resume of Christ`s Sermon on the Mount presented in a most digestible form. It is the character of Christ reproduced in the Christian through the Holy Spirit.\n\nSome people produce the fruit of human efforts or what may be best described as \"works of human spirit\". Such people strive and endeavour, by a great excersice of will, to produce some fruits - good culture, courtesy, calmness (outward), kindness, endurance - which are only commendable to follow human beigns. But these products of natural effort are not the fruit of the Spirit revealed in Scripture . They come from man`s labour. They are more of ,am`s inention. That is why we call the fruits of human effort or works of the human spirit.\n\nWorks belong to the workshop, whereas fruits belong to the garden. Fruit is the silent growth of the abounding life, whereas, work comes from the skillful factory hand. The presence of fruit - the fruit of the Spirit - assigns the grace of the Christian character to the true source - God.\n\nGalatians 5:22-23    Ephesians 5:9\n\nIn direct contrast to the works of the flesh, Paul the apostle, by inspiration, states the nine fruits produced by the Holy Spirit in the believer. They are: \"Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, temperance...\" (Galatians 5:22-23). They are collectively the fruit, implying that none is without the other and cannot be whole without others. Therefore, everyone who claims to have the spirit of God must possess \"the fruit\" in its entirety.\n\nFirst, love which envelopes other constituents in the fruit (1 Corin. 13:1-13, Romans 13:10, John 13:34, 1 John 4:7-12).\n\nIn reality, love is the attribute of Christ which expresses itself in all the nine virtues. A Christian writer onece wrote how the eight other components are anchored in love. He said, \"Joy is love exulting; peace is love reposing; longsuffering is love enduring; gentleness is love refined; meekness is love with a bowed head; gentleness is love in action; temperance is true self-love; and faith is love confiding; so that the whole sum of Christian living is just loving\".",

The Scripture talks about growing ...\"unto a perfect man, unto the message of the stature of the fulness of Christ\" (Ephesians 4:13). To settle for anything less is to live a life of mediocrity, defeat or unfruitfulness.\n\nPaul`s prayer for the Ephesian church can be described as profound, spiritual and inspired. It can be summed up in the word fullness. First, he asked that they would be strengthened with might by God`s spirit in the inner man. Secondly, that Christ would dwell in their hearts by faith, in all his grace and glory.\n\nThirdly, that the believers would be rooted and grounded in love. Fourth, that they have understanding and knowledge to comprehend the depth of the mysteries of Christ\n\nFifthly, that they would know the depth of Christ`s love. As if the list is endless, he ended by praying that they would \"be filled with all the fulness of God\". (Ephesians 3:19)\n\nPaul`s prayer-points should also be the earnest desire of every Spirit-filled, serious and saintly believer. Christ`s fulness begins from salvation to sanctification and Holy Spirit baptism.\n\nTo partake, we must ensure we abide in Christ. A branch that is served from the vine cannot grow talk less of bearing fruit (John 15:1-7). This is why fellowship with the children of God must be taken with all seriousness. As we attend all the meetings - Sunday worship, Bible Study etc. - we shall \"grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ\".\n\nWe must also not neglect prayer, quiet time and regular meditation on the word of God.\n\nOur God is able to do much more than we ask or desire of Him. He has power to work to an extent we cannot express, more than all that we can conceive in our prayers.       "body": "Ezekiel 33:1\n\nJohn15:16\n\nCities in ancient Palestine were often in danger of attacks from enemies. As a result, they walled their cities and built fortified towers for the purpose of repelling their adversaries. Moreover, they placed watch men in the towers to warn them of impending danger signals to the city whenever there was one.\n\nThe lord used this situation to illustrate the position of believers whose duty it is to warn sinners and evil doers about His coming judgment. \n\nLike city Nations of cold, the Lord says He has appointed believers as watchmen to warn the world about His judgment against sin. \"so Thou, o son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore Thou shalt hear the word at my mouth and warn them from\" Ezekiel 33:7\n\nOur Lord Jesus Christ restated this truth in John 15:16: \"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you...\"  Every genuine child of God should be conscious of this appointment of the Lord and take up the challenge.\n\nThe watchman so appointed is saddled with the all important responsibility of watching and warning the people against danger. As believers, we know that this world of sin and sinners will be judge several when the lord comes. We know that those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell \"where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched\".\n\nTherefore, our urgent assignment is to preach the gospel and labour to rescue as many as possible before it is too late. We should not slack to preach that people should turn away from sin and embrace God's salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one who died on the cross to save us.\n\nThe lord is waiting for us to preach to our Co workers, parents, backsliders, children and everyone that may still remain in sin in our neighborhood. \n\nBelievers cannot afford to be careless with the assignment of preaching the gospel. We must remain vigilant and committed to the task of saving souls. Failure brings adversity and attracts divine judgment. The Lord's verdict is that : \"... If the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.",

      "body": "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.\n\nPsalm 145:3\nHow does the Bible describe God to us?\nThe first words of the Bible in Genesis 1:1 state, \"In the beginning God…\" It just assumes that God is and that God exists and that God was the Creator and then moves forward. The Bible does not argue or defend the existence of God but declares it. There is no preliminary introduction to God that tries to establish that He exists.. Genesis does not start by saying, \"By the following proofs we establish the existence of God and that He created all things.\" Not at all, never! Just \"In the beginning God…\". God's name appears 28 times in Genesis 1 — God did this or God did that, yet not a single sentence is devoted to identifying Him or defining Him. Nothing is said about where God came from or what He is like. The authors of Scripture's clear position is that people come to the Bible already knowing that God exists.  Romans 1:19 says, \"For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.\"\n\nIn reality, God does not need us. God did not create man because He was lonely and we had something that He needed to be satisfied. In fact, it could be the highest form of pride for someone to think that God needed something they had or could offer to Him. How can the creature say to the Creator that they had something He needed? What could anyone give to God that He needed? If we gave God everything that we own, it would have no value to God whatsoever. He has no needs. He never lacks in anything. We need what He has and what He offers.\n\nGod never changes\nProbably no other attribute can bring more confidence and security to the believer than God never changes. Hebrews 13:8 says that \"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever\". Everything about our lives and our world is continuously evolving. None of us are like we were 25 years ago. We have grown, developed, learned, and experienced many different things – but not God. God has never learned something new, and nothing has ever just occurred to God. Change always reflects something getting better or worse, but God cannot improve or get worse in any way. If God were always changing His mind or learning things that He did not previously know, then it would create great anxiety for us. We would wonder that if He loved us before, can He change and no longer love us now? The answer is \"never\". He never changes.\n\nGod is always with you\nGod is always everywhere all of the time. That is almost impossible to imagine because we can never be in more than one place at a time. God, however, is not limited in where He can be. He is not spread out like butter on bread. You always have the fullness of God's presence with you, and that should provide great comfort. He is never taken by surprise when something happens to you. He knew it was going to happen to you before it ever happened. The best part is that He knows the perfect solution to every problem you face, so all He wants from you is trusting Him with your life.\n\nWhat should be my response?\nThe Bible teaches that because of God's \"goodness, \" that ultimately unbelief in God is entire without excuse.  Romans 1:20, speaking about people who reject God, says, \"For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.\"\n\nHebrews 11:6 says that someone who truly comes to God \"must believe that He is\".  God has never done anything in the dark. His love, His Son's sacrifice, His creation – everything is open to sight, visible, obvious. The Bible says that you are \"fearfully and wonderfully made\", and that should be obvious to anyone willing to accept that a great and amazing God has created them.",

      "body": "ACTS. 4:23-31\n\n\nFrom time to time, life throws up challenges which we cannot handle on our own. It does not matter whether they come in the line of duty or right at the centre of God`s will as we are busy serving Him. But the good news is that we have a special privilege of seeking His help in prayer to be able to overcome whatever problems we face. The disciples of Christ were busy obeying the great commission when they met stiff opposition from the chief priests and elders in Jerusalem who ordered them not to preach in the Name of Jesus. \"But Peter and John answered and said unto them, whether it be right in the sight of God to harken unto you more than unto God, judge ye\" (Acts 4:19).\n\nThe apostles refusal to chicken-out and abandon the great commision infuriated the jewish council - the Sanhedrin - who raised persecution against them. Our commitment to preaching the gospel may sometimes bring opposition and persecution from memebers of our family, colleagues and managers in our workplace or other people in our neighbourhood. But like Peter and other apostles, we should stand up to the challenge.\n\nThe disciples of Christ exploited the privilege of prayer when they were faced with opposition against the gospel. Likewise, we also have the privilege to pray to our father in heaven when we are opposed, persecuted, misrepresented or attacked during evangelism. During His earthly ministry, Christ endured persecution and torture through constant communion with the Father. We can do the same today.\n\nThe disciple in our text asked the Lord for courage, boldness and the fortitude to withstand the challenge as well as divine confirmation through signs and wonders. The Lord answered the disciples prayer, \"And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and spake the word of God with boldness\"(Acts. 4:31).\n\nHowever, for God to answer our prayers, we must be free from sin. Besides, we need to exercise faith in Christ and pray according to His will and promises. No problem is too great or too small to take to the Lord in prayers. There are nine manifestation gifts listed in I Corinthians 12:7–11: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.\n\nEach part of a person’s body is needed for the body to function in health and wholeness. In the same way, each member of the Body of Christ is needed for the Church to function according to God’s will. No one is more gifted spiritually or is more important than anyone else in the Body of Christ.\n\nRomans 12:4–6 says: “For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us . . . .”\n\nI Peter 4:10 says, “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”\n\nBased on these two simple passages, we know that:\n\nEvery believer has received “the gift” for the purpose of using it for ministry to others.\nAlthough the Body consists of many members, all members do not have the same function.\nMembers of the Body have different gifts according to the grace given to them.\n“The gifts are placed in the church as resources to be utilized at the point of need for ministry in the body. This means that not every believer will have the same gifts as every other believer.\n\nThe Holy Spirit is the owner and dispenser of the spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7,11). As believers, we are stewards of the gifts of God (1 Peter 4:10). Every believer can expect the Holy Spirit to minister through him or her with spiritual gifts. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good… (1 Corinthians 12:7; emphasis added). This protects us from a static view of spiritual gifts and leads into a more dynamic relationship with the Holy Spirit where we can expect Him to move through us in multiple ways for His Glory as He sees fit.\n\nSpiritual gifts can be experienced immediately following conversion, but are often received at various moments subsequent to conversion. Paul encourages Timothy, “Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you” (1 Timothy 4:14). It is not clear exactly when this happened in Timothy’s spiritual journey, but it was probably when he was commissioned by the church to begin his ministry. This also suggests that gifts can come by impartation from spiritual leadership. This is not some kind of “magical” touch, but instead the culmination of a relationship of discipleship accountability and submission to authority. It is also clear from Scripture that spiritual gifts can be received when a person is filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:44–48; 19:6).\n\nAs we read the book of Acts, we see that spiritual gifts were very much a part of the ministry of the New Testament church. We also see them in operation in the ministry of Jesus. Jesus did His miraculous deeds in His Spirit empowered humanity (Acts 10:38). He asked his disciples to do the things that he had been doing (Luke 9:1). Since his ministry was a demonstration of spiritual gifts through a fully surrendered man, then he could with confidence say to his disciples, “As the Father has sent me, so send I you” (John 20:21).\n\nSpiritual gifts should work together, complementing each other. There is a need for them to be active in the church. Paul exhorts the Corinthian congregation to eagerly desire spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 14:1). This does not mean, however, that gifts should be used to exalt the individual or to feed an immature desire for attention. He repeats in v. 12 that they should try to excel in gifts that build up the church. Spiritual gifts must be used in love (1 Corinthians 13; Romans 12:9; Ephesians 4:15; 1 Peter 4:8). If they are not used in love they will be abused and cause trouble in the body, rather than blessing (1 Corinthians 13:1–3). Love, when used with spiritual gifts is like oil in a machine. It makes all the parts work well together. We must also remember that our “comfort zone” is not the same as spiritual discernment, and at times even a gift manifested in love may make those ignorant of it uncomfortable. Therefore, patient teaching on the gifts and their manifestations is a necessity (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Romans 12:4, 5; Ephesians 4:12,15,16).\n\nAll the gifts are needed in the body of Christ. All the gifts are equally valid. In 1 Corinthians 12:12–26, the Apostle Paul instructs the church that no one should despise his/her own gift by comparing it to the gifts of others. And he also says that no one should despise someone else’s gift as being less than his/her gift. Some gifts are more apparent than others, but each gift is important.\n\nPaul indicates that the gift of prophecy is an important gift, one to be desired (1 Corinthians 14:1). First Corinthians 14:1–25 compares the gift of prophecy and the gift of speaking in tongues in the context of public worship. The clear indication is that the gift of prophecy is more profitable for building up the body of Christ than the gift of speaking in tongues is, unless the tongues are interpreted (1 Corinthians 14:5, 27–28). The context of the ministry is what determines the value of a particular gift. Speaking in tongues is a valid gift for today. However, in the public ministry setting, the gift of tongues must have someone to interpret for it to be profitable for strengthening the body. If anyone speaks in a tongue, two–or at the most three–should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God (1 Corinthians 14:27–28, emphasis added). This would indicate that if there is no interpreter present, tongues should be used in personal prayer to God for which no interpretation is necessary. This, of course, is also of value to the individual believer’s edification and ultimately for the edification of the church and must not be considered a lesser gift.\n\nThere are some who believe that the gift of tongues is the “initial, physical evidence” of being filled with the Spirit. Again, we affirm tongues as a valid gift for today. But we do not believe that the Scripture supports tongues as the only evidence of the filling of the Holy Spirit.\n\nPaul, as he writes to the believers in the Ephesian church, commands them to…be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). “Filled with the Spirit” is a frequent expression in the Book of Acts describing the source of the mighty power of God working in believers in Christ. This expression implies being under the control of the Holy Spirit. We believe this is still a valid command for today, and every believer should seek to be filled or controlled by the Holy Spirit. So, what is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit?\n\nThough there is a record of people receiving spiritual gifts when they were filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:44–48; 19:6), there are other instances of people being filled with the Holy Spirit where there is no mention of spiritual gifts (Acts 4:8, 31; 8:15–17; 9:17–18; 13:9, 52). Though some may speak in tongues when they are filled with the Holy Spirit, others do not. While rejecting the “initial evidence doctrine” we must be careful to say there “should be” and “will be” evidence that a person has been filled with the Holy Spirit. As Tozer strongly notes, “no one ever received the Holy Spirit’s power without knowing it” (Keys to the Deeper Life, p. 57). A creed of power without the experience of power is worthless. One phrase that could describe our posture in this encounter with God is “Expectation without Agenda.” It would seem to be a dangerous thing to try and convince someone they have been filled with the Spirit if there is no manifest evidence in their lives. Our expectancy should be that God will meet His people in a powerful way. However, it would be equally dangerous to demand a specific agenda or manifestation at that moment. Again, we should come to the Lord with great expectation, while seeking to free ourselves from human agendas or motives.\n\n1 Corinthians 12 lists a variety of manifestations that occur when the Holy Spirit is ministering. We have no reason to believe this is an all-inclusive list of manifestations or evidence. Weeping, for instance, is not mentioned. Yet many believers have experienced tears as a manifestation of the Spirit’s work and power. Others may experience a manifestation of “joy unspeakable” and God’s love but never shed a tear. Rather than demanding a single gift or manifestation as the evidence of the filling of the Holy Spirit, we ought to gratefully embrace all the gifts, manifestations and fruit that the Lord desires to bring into our lives.\n\nIt is possible for a person to neglect a spiritual gift. Paul warns Timothy not to neglect his gift (1 Timothy 4:14), and he also encourages him to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hand” (2 Timothy 1:6). Therefore, it is a biblical necessity that believers discover and move in the arena of spiritual gifts. It has been said that Christians are not primarily natural beings having temporary spiritual experiences. Rather, we are spiritual beings having a temporary natural experience. We live in a spiritual, Kingdom reality. If the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts, then their discovery must by nature be a spiritual experience. When we walk in obedience, we must trust that the Holy Spirit will respond with the revelation of His gifts in our lives. Having said this, there are some diagnostic instruments that may help us uncover what God has given. A better way of confirming a person’s spiritual gifting is through the local congregation and its leadership. What do the leaders and the local body think that you do best that contributes to the welfare of the congregation? That is probably your spiritual gift. A person does not need to announce or advertise his/her spiritual gift. The local congregation will recognize and validate genuine spiritual gifts as the gifted person’s ministry contributes to the building up of the local church body. Of course, this requires the individual believer to step out in faith and obedience to God’s Word. First, that the prevailing power of enmity in a person's heart has been taken away by the blessed Spirit of God. Secondly, that the person has actually been reconciled to God the Father. Thirdly, that the person has an abiding communion and fellowship with God — what in Scripture is called \"the Holy Spirit dwelling in us.\" Finally, walking with God implies our making progress in the divine life. Walking requires progressive motion. But how does a Christian maintain such a walk with God?  \n\nTo begin with, believers maintain their walk with God by reading His Word. \"Search the Scriptures,\" says our blessed Lord, \"for these are they that testify of me\" (Jn 5:39). The psalmist tells us that God's Word was a \"light unto his feet, and a lantern unto his paths\" (Ps 119:105). The characteristic of a good man that \"his delight is in the law of the Lord, and that he meditates on it day and night\" (Ps 1:2). \"Give yourself to the public reading of Scripture,\" says Paul to Timothy (I Tim 4:13). \"This book of the law,\" says God to Joshua, \"shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it\" (Josh 1:8). “Whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction\" (Rom 15:4). The word of God is \"profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work\" (2 Tim. 3:16). If we ever think we are above our Bibles, we shall soon lie open to all manner of delusion, and be in great danger of making shipwreck of faith and a good conscience. This the apostle calls the \"sword of the Spirit\" (Eph 6:17).\n\nHoly and frequent meditation is another blessed means of keeping up a believer's walk with God. Says Luther, \"Prayer, reading, temptation, and meditation makes a minister.\" And they also make and perfect a Christian. Meditation is to the soul what digestion is to the body. David found it so, and therefore he was frequently employed in meditation, even in the night season. Meditation is a kind of silent prayer, whereby the soul is frequently (so to speak) carried out of itself to God. Through meditation, the soul is, to a degree beholds the face of our heavenly Father. None but those happy souls that have been accustomed to this divine practice can tell what a blessed promoter of the divine life meditation is. \"While   I was musing the fire burned,\" writes David (Ps 39:3). And while the believer is musing on the works and word of God, he frequently feels the fire of divine love kindle, so that he is obliged to speak with his tongue and tell of the loving-kindness of the Lord to his soul. Be frequent therefore in meditation, all you who desire to maintain a close and uniform walk with the highest God.\n\nThose who would maintain a holy walk with God must walk with him in His commandments as well as in His providences. It is recorded of Zacharias and Elizabeth, that \"they walked in all God's ordinance, as well as commandments, blameless\" (Lk 1:6). All rightly informed Christians will look upon commandments, not as beggarly elements, but as so many conduit-pipes by which the infinitely condescending Jehovah conveys his grace to their souls. They will look upon them as children's bread, and as their highest privileges. Consequently, they will delight to visit the place where God's honor dwells — \"Come, let us go up to the house of the Lord\" (Ps 122:1).\n\nIf you would walk with God, you will associate and keep company with others who walk with Him. \"My delight,\" says David, \"is in them that do excel in virtue\" (Ps 16:3). In his sight, they were the excellent ones of the earth. The early Christians kept up their vigor and first love by continuing in fellowship one with another. Writes Paul, “Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together (Heb 10:25). For how can one be warm alone? Did not the wisest of men say, \"As iron sharpens iron, so does the countenance of a man sharpen his friend\"? (Prv 27:17). So it is necessary for those who would walk with God to meet together when they can, in order to provoke one another to love and good works (Heb 10:24).\n\nEven though men began to call upon the name of the Lord in the early days (Genesis 4:26), Enoch was the first man to uncover the true delight of walking with God. He found something even Adam didn't experience. He pressed into God until he learned how to commune with God through every facet of life. To find that dimension of relationship certainly required an intense spiritual pursuit, and then when he found it, the Lord made a graphic statement by taking him up to heaven.\n\nBy taking Enoch up to glory, God wasn't trying to get us impressed with Enoch's piety. Nor was God saying, \"If you get to be as spiritual as Enoch, you'll get taken up to heaven, too.\" This was a unique experience God used to emphasize a specific point. God's point was, \"I love to walk with a \n![rutht.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmewPLCP9giHbXMrrtzreg6bffPYm65vXA7Xo6jtQqUxyC/rutht.jpg)\nman! Enoch was the first man to truly walk with me, so I decided to highlight his example by doing something extraordinary with him. I took him up to paradise to underscore how much I value and desire a daily walking relationship with my chosen ones.\" Enoch's example continues to witness to all generations of the great zeal God has to walk with man.\n\n\nWhen we walk with God, we enter the dimension where God unfolds the secrets of his kingdom. These are the paths that the ancients trod before us. Noah knew the secret of walking with God (Genesis 6:9), as did Abraham (Genesis 24:40). Through Christ, you can explore the glorious riches of knowing God as they did—and to even a greater degree because of the Spirit which has been given to us!\n\nGod had a relationship with Adam and Eve that found them \"walking in the garden in the cool of the day\" (Genesis 3:8). God created man for the enjoyment of a walking relationship that involved companionship, dialogue, intimacy, joint decision-making, mutual delight, and shared dominion. God longs to walk with you, which is why his arms of grace have been pulling you into a closer walk with him. \n\nEnoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him\" (Gen 5:24). The original Hebrew meaning for walked implies that Enoch went to and fro with God, continually conversing with him and growing closer to him. In him, we see a new kind of believer. He walked arm in the arm every day with the Lord – the Lord was his very life — so much so that at the end of his life, he did not taste death but was translated out of life (Heb 11:5). Like Enoch, those who walk closely with God are translated out of Satan's reach — taken out of his kingdom of darkness and put into Christ's kingdom of light (Col 1:13).\n\nThe secret place is not the destination; it is only the catalyst. It is designed of God to establish us in an intimate friendship with him that is walked out through the course of our everyday lives. The goal we're after is an everyday walk of unbroken communion with our Lord and friend.\n\nConviction is the thing that brought me to God in the first place by the feelings of “needing to get right with God.” Conviction of the Holy Spirit is what kept falling on me in the club. First, a feverish pitch of angst would pummel me. Not the typical kind of anxiety I often struggled with, mind you. This was panic-attack material; leaving me stricken by a nauseous trepidation at the thought of working the floor, talking to customers, or anything else. I felt too paralyzed by fear to even leave the dressing room. Next, a furious disdain for the industry would engulf my emotions. The ghetto girl inside me blazed with anger, she wanted to kick tail and take names. For things I’d seen, things I knew of, and things I ignorantly took part in; things like filth, and degradation, and outright injustice. I resented that I couldn’t pack my bags, head for the door, and never don that disgusting establishment again. Had I been able to I would have. But no, I felt trapped. I had to work.\n\nThen, a resentfulness toward the men would enrage me, while a slew of disturbing images flashed in my head like a strobe light. I almost couldn’t take it. The perversion. The expectations. The beastly behaviors. The scores of married men. I wanted to scream, “Go home to your wife, you good-for-nothing loser!” Only I’d have added a few expletives back then, of course. Now I absolutely get it. I was feeling the conviction of God’s Spirit at my workplace. Conviction feels like guilt but is more than guilt; it’s the Spirit of God saying, “This is the way to go. Walk-in it.” He’s urging us to go to him. Right this second. Yes, you are guilty. But if you’ll go to him, talk to him about what’s going on, and own up to whatever you need to own up to, he will grace you, forgive you, cleanse you, and empower you with newfound strength, resolve, and the continued awareness of his leadership in your life. The hardest part was I had no way to logically resolve this mess in my head. It made no sense, and I had no way of mentally contextualizing it. It was baffling. Nothing was powerful enough to relieve that heavy load of misery crashing down on me. Not a personal pep talk, not a shot of liquid courage, and not a drug either. The only relief was to pack my bags and head back home.\n\nConviction is feeling the drawing of God’s presence in your life to surrender to him in a particular way. Conviction is also the sorrow we feel when we fail to surrender to God. Conviction is a beautiful gift from God that draws on our emotions for the sole purpose of bringing us back to where we belong: In the presence of God. Drenched in a wonder for God. Allowing his Spirit to purify us. Once he saturates us, he sets us free to run forth by lighting up our world for his fame and people’s highest longing.\n\nFor a person who has believed in Jesus Christ concerning God’s gift of eternal life, living a personally satisfying life that also pleases God is far from automatic. The wise professor Hodges created and crafted for us a beautiful tapestry and useful primer of spiritual living that itself displays a measure of the wisdom, pleasure, and glory of the Person of God as intimately known by this book’s author.\n\n(1) The resurrection life of Jesus Christ who is in us who have believed, (2) transforms our minds (=hearts) by means of His Spirit, (3) so that God’s life in us is displayed (=glorified) through us in our daily decisions and directions, (4) resulting from an honest heart (=mind) deliberately facing the light of the truth of God’s Messiah revealed in His written Word, (5) that we speak to God about in reference to our experience,(6) whose glory we are invited to regularly pursue as a process with an intentional focus (mindset) on all we can discover in and about God’s Son alive in us.\n\nRepentance is getting raw honest with God. Talking to him about what we’re feeling. Hiding nothing. Withholding nothing. Throwing our guts up before God and getting the whole rotten mess out before him. Repentance is how God cleanses the deepest places of our soul. It’s also how he ushers forth the power of his Holy Spirit to transform our lowly selves into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. Bypassing a lifestyle of true repentance before God will quench the Holy Spirit’s available power from manifesting itself in our daily lives. Repentance keeps our house of worship (our bodies) clean and usable for God and his kingdom. If we want to stay aware and sensitive to God each day, living a lifestyle of repentance before him is vital. Repentance is taking full responsibility for every thought, action, word, misdeed, and all areas of pride, self-reliance, ways we’ve not heeded God’s conviction, or lack obeying Christ.\n\nHaving a teachable heart is vital for knowing God more, for keeping what we’ve already attained in him, and for actively engaging with God from day to day—even being used by him. Having a teachable disposition before God not only blesses him, it allows him to use us in greater measures. Why is this so? Because the one who has a teachable heart is yielding to his conviction by surrendering themselves fully; plus, they are showing signs of great humility and obviously yielding in repentance before him too. Those who are teachable get to enjoy the secret things of God because they’ve proven themselves trustworthy enough to share his heart with. When we walk with God, his ways are not like our ways. We must yield to his leadership, his way of doing things, him calling the shots and us simply following. But oh when we follow. This is where the “more” is found.\n\nIntercession is living in a place of open dialogue with God for you and for others. Where conviction draws us to God, intercession keeps us before God. It positions him in the most prominent place for everything pertaining to life, to godliness, to his will and work in our lives, as well as his will and work in others. If a crisis comes up and we turn to God in prayers, calling on him to act, throwing the situation and circumstances before him, that’s intercession. Intercession is more than the simple act of praying but it’s throwing all things before him and calling on Him to move, to act, to intervene, and to respond. Intercession is not about having polished and primed prayers for others to be impressed by. Intercession is living a humble life before God, welcoming him into every area of our lives and the lives we are bringing before him, and keeping our ear to his chest to hear his heartbeat. Intercession is not just praying; it’s listening for his plans, purposes, and areas where he is inviting us to join him in the work he has in mind and desires to do.",

      "body": "Hebrew 13:1-3\n2 Corin. 8:1-15\n\nThe most essential quality Christ expects in the life of all believers is love. It is the foundation and fulcrum on which the Christian faith rests. \"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself\" (Gal. 5:14). It is the most visible identification when people around us behold the measure of love we show towards one another (John 13:35).\n\nLove becomes more pronounced when it is shown among believers in Christ. It is not surprising then that the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul admonishes us: \"Let brotherly love continue\".\n\nBrotherly love consists of Christian affection, hospitality,, empathy towards the less privileged or afflicted, giving to others, especially those who are of the household of faith, and a Christlike attitude towards others. Those who profess faith in Christ must show by their works of righteousness that they are genuine. Buoyed by the same doctrine, John the Beloved said, \"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth\" (1 John 3:18). Believers therefore must ensure they are full of work towards other people since faith works by LOVE.\n\nThe brethren in the Macedonian churches showed by example, the profound nature of brotherly love and kindness. Their acts of liberality was so pronounced that Apostle Paul's commendation was their willingness to part with their resources even when they had little of it. \"How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality\" (2 Corinthians 8:2). Their attitude should provoke us to do more for the brethren and the church of God.\n\nIn His love for the disciples, Christ served them. Since \"the servant is not greater than his lord...\", we also must follow His example by serving our brethren in love. To do this, we must put aside our status in society and see service as a privilege given to us by God.       "body": "In Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan, the Good Samaritan has compassion on a man who was beaten by robbers and left for dead on the side of the road. The Good Samaritan bandages the critically injured man’s wounds and pours on oil and wine. He poured on the wine to fight the infection, and he poured on the oil to soothe the wounds. I believe that is what James was thinking of when he wrote this verse. We see a beautiful balance in Scripture between the practical use of medicinal treatment and the power of prayer. Whether healing is by medicine or whether it is by miracle, it is all the work of Christ, accomplished through the prayer and loving presence of the church body.\n\n\n\nJames tells us, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise” (James 5:13 NIV). That word “suffering” is also translated “troubled.” It has to do with emotional distress, those who are facing hardships in life. James is thinking of anyone who is facing external pressures of any kind that affect us on the inside, like depression, anxiety, dysfunction in the family or financial stress, among many other trials.\n\nWhen we face stress of all kinds, prayer is not our last chance but our first choice. James does not promise us here that our emotional pain will always go away, but he does guarantee us that God cares about our suffering. When we cry out to God and bring him our pain, he is a “friend that sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24 NIV) When we put our burden in his hands and accept the loving arms of Christ around us, then we experience comfort and gain strength to bear up under the pressure.\n\nJames says, \"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.\" What James is describing here is the healing touch of the ministry of the church to its people. \n\nThis doesn’t mean that everyone who is prayed for is going to get well. Physical healing is a mystery wrapped in the sovereign will of God. We should always pray for people to get well, but we must also always pray, “Lord, your will be done.” That's what Jesus prayed. For the Christian, the ultimate healing is not here, but in heaven. These verses are not a blanket promise for healing. They’re a reminder of the ministry of the church, the ministry of the body of Christ. We are always to pray for people when they're sick and when they're suffering.\n\nHOW TO PRAY FOR OUR SPIRIT LIFE\n\nTherefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working… My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins” (James 5:16, 19-20 ESV). We must confess our own sin and pray for those who have wandered from the truth.\n\nWe must stay connected to the truth and close to the truth, for our sakes and the those of our brothers and sisters in the faith. And the good news of Christ is that anyone can be restored. Jesus is the friend of sinners — all of us.\n\nAs we observe this National Day of Prayer, we need to make sure that we're always praying for those who are suffering emotionally, physically and spiritually. Everyone appears to know that the true New Testament Christian Life has a striking manifestation of a Christlike pattern of pungent expression in PETER`s second epistle: \"And besides this, giving all diligence, add to the knowledge temperature; and to temperature patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things are in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord JESUS CHRIST\" (2 Peter 1:5-8).\n\nThese true Christian virtues are collectively called \"the fruit of the spirit\" and couched in the best words in Galatians 5:22-23. Here, we have the exact definition of the total Christian personality and a beautiful resume of Christ`s sermon on the Mount presented in a most digestible form. It is the character of Christ reproduced in the Christian through the HOLY SPIRIT.\n\nSome people produce the fruit of human effort or what may be best described as works of the human spirit. Such people strive and endeavour, by a great exercise of the will, to produce some fruits - good culture, courtesy, calmness (outward), kindness, endurance - which are only commendable to fellow humans. But these products of natural effort are not the fruit of the spirit revealed in the scripture. They come from man`s labour. They are more of man`s invention. That is why we call them fruits of human effort or works of the human spirit.\n\nWorks belong to the workshop, whereas fruits belong to the garden. Fruit is the silent growth of the abounding life, whereas, work comes from the skilful factory hand. The presence of fruit - the fruit of the spirit - assigns the grace of the Christian character to the true source - GOD.\n\nGal. 5:22-23\nEph. 5:9\n\nIn direct contrast to the works of the flesh, Paul the apostle, by inspiration, states the nine fruit [produced by the HOLY SPIRIT in the believer. They are \"love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, faith, meekness, temperance...\" (Gal. 5:22-23). They are collectively called \"the fruit\", implying that none is without the other and can not be without others.       "body": "Genesis 5:22-24\nGenesis 17:1\n\nOne of the negative end time prophecies of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ is that the love of many Christians shall wax cold. It's fulfillment, being presently witnessed in the Christendom, spells grave consequences. It is obvious that now many who were once zealous and committed to the Lord are losing their first love and enthusiasm with which they served God. This is because the god of this world has enticed them with materialism, injected them with spiritual sleep and sown tares of discord, misfortune and sickness into their lives. Manipulated by the enemy, these Christians lose their conviction as their fellowship with God and His people become irregular. They have consequently become unstable and unpredictable in character, and unfaithful to God and His Church. Outright backsliding has become rampant. \n\nWith this development, Christ, the ever living one, charges fervent believers and the church to wake up to their responsibility of reviving despondent, weak, lukewarm and inconsistent believers (Revelation 3:2-3). Saved from sin or restored from backsliding, the believer needs to maintain a consistent righteous life to qualify for heaven.\n\nTHE CHARACTER OF HEAVEN-BOUND PILGRIMS\nGen. 5:22-24\nGen. 17:1\nHebrew 11:5-16\nPhillipians. 3:20\n\nEnoch, the Son of Jared and father of methuselah, is mentioned in our text as one who maintained a consistent, God pleasing lifestyle throughout his lifetime. According to scripture account, he knew God at the age of 65 and walked with him for 300 years. That he lived in the old Testament period before the cross strips inconsistent believers of excuses they give for rising and falling in the Christian faith. Enoch lived in this same wicked world infested with demons as we do today. With the death and resurrection of Christ at calvary, every earnest seeker can live a righteous life. If it were not possible to live a righteous life, God would have not called Abraham to it. (Gen. 17:1)\n\nThe call to salvation precedes the call to consistent Christian living and perfection. Abraham had first responded to the call to come out of sin into salvation and seperation before this time. None is on pilgrimage to heaven until he or she is genuinely saved from sin. Pilgrimages to holy lands and engagement in religious rites or duties do not set the religionist free from sin. Every sinner and backslider needs to repent from sin and receive Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and saviour... One thing else is to make Jesus lord over your life as you have repented... Run this Christian race as Paul described it with all seriousness - not allowing time to waste - Do not push yourself into sin. You should always be aware and understand that this race is to have a well done my good and faithful servant at the end. You should always be aware of the things that can slow you down in this race. Anyone that wants to have the reward at the end of the race, must first strive with all diligence.  Every path of his life must be ordered, you must be under the control of the Spirit Of God, the doctrine of the Bible {Heb. 12:1, Heb. 11:1}.\n\nTherefore running this race, you need to shoulder off things that can weigh you down, that will make you not run accordingly to the will and purpose God has for you - shoulder them off only if you want to have the prize at the end of the race - run with patience - run with the word of God - run with the spirit of God (1 Peter 4:2-8). Running this heavenly race requires us to run according to the will of God, not the will of any human or our friend (Gal. 5:7-10). \n\nPhilippians 2:14-17\nGal. 2:2\n\nWhen running the race of the heavenly, do everything you ought to do without a doubt. The word of God must guide our hearts and everything we do. We should not be tired while running this race (Gal. 2:2-20). Always try to talk with each other, I mean with fellow believers. The only way to run this race is to be crucified with Christ - when Christ lives in you - you do according to the way Christ lives - Live by faith in Christ - When we do these we get strengthened by God Almighty.\n\nIsiah. 40:31\n\nThe world does everything to obtain a corruptible crown - but when we do everything God has instructed, we will obtain an incorruptible crown. \n2 Timothy 2:4 \nJames 1:12\n\nYou do not strive against the world, you must endure temptation and hard times. Whoever endures the temptations in the race, certainly you will be faced with more temptation in the race - Receives such an important prize of life - which God has promised to those who love Him. When you love the Lord - you do according to His will (The bible testaments) - you will receive the prize. As you run this race do not fear the things that will come, trials will come, temptations of different kinds will arise - do not compromise.       "body": "While the plagues are upon the earth at the Great tribulation, the overcomes will be rejoicing for their victory over the Antichrist and his antics to make them compromise their faith in God. \"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his image, stand in the sea of glass, having the harps of God...\" (Revelation 15:2-3). The standing saints are the great tribulation saints that were victorious over Satan and his agents. This victory of the tribulation saints is the\" victory of all victories \" which God guarantees to all who make Everlasting fellowship with him at the end. For the participants at this eternal fellowship, some would get the victory by martyrdom, natural death or through the rapture. But by whatever means it is attained, it is the crowning glory of all efforts of striving \"to enter in at the strait gate...\" (Luke 13:24).\n\nThe victory and subsequent celebration of the redeemed reveal that with determination and faith in God, the believer can overcome the greatest obstacles and oppositions. No doubt, the Antichrist \" Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped...\" (2 Thess. 2:4) would have done so much to compel these persons to accept his mark, but they will be firm in their rejection of the mark of the beast.\n\nHowever, while one rejoices for the resilience of these tribulation saints, it is far better for every believer to make effort to avoid going through the rigors and anguish of the great tribulation. The victory of the dead and living believers under the New Testament is consummated at the point of being caught up in the rapture of the saints. The Church anxiously awaits this glorious experience. \"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. The first is the Antichrist, the second is the false prophet. The Antichrist will be the political power leader while the false prophet will be the religious leader. They both derive their power from the dragon. From this episode, we have an unholy trio namely, the dragon, which is Satan, the antichrist, and the false prophet. This unholy trinity will work together during the time of the great tribulation and will counterfeit the Holy trinity. The dragon is the anti-God(Rev. 12:3-9), the first beast is the antichrist, the son of perdition (Rev. 12:4-7, 2 Thess. 2:3-4), and the second beast which is the false prophet is the anti-spirit (Rev. 13:11-15). \n\nSatan is the master counterfeit with the grand purpose and plans to deceive all people of the earth. The main function of the Holy Spirit is to direct praise and glory in the person of Christ. Here, we see the false prophet counterfeiting the Holy spirit by directing people`s praise and worship to the Antichrist who is the second in the unholy trinity (Rev. 13:12-13). Essentially, the events of this chapter will occur at the mid-point of the seven years of the great tribulation.",

      "body": "This final victory will cause inexplicable joy in His presence when the Bride (the church) will be presented to the Bridegroom at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9)\n\nRev. 15:5-8, Rev. 11:19, Psalm 75:8, Jeremiah 25:15-17, Job 21:14-28- 30, John 3:36, Ephesians 5:3-6, Hebrews 10:26-31, Nahum 1: 2-8, Matt. 3:7-12, 1 Thess. 1:5-10, 1 Thess. 5:1-9\n\n\n\"And after that, I looked and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened\". After seeing the vision of the redeemed singing the song of their deliverance and of the redeemed singing the song of their deliverance and of their Lord`s dominion, John saw the temple in heaven opened. The temple is the peculiar dwelling place of God. Here it is referred to as \"The temple of the tabernacle of the testimony\" because it bears testimony to the presence, power, and pre-eminence of God. \"And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues\". The seven angels who are appointed to execute the plagues of judgment on earth will come \"out of the temple,\" that is, from the immediate presence of God. They have given \"seven golden vials full the wrath of God.\"\n\nThe judgement and wrath of God on the earth will be full and final without any allowance for mercy. \"And the temple was filled with smoke from the Glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.\" The smoke here is the manifestation of the appearance of the majesty of God as seen in EXODUS 19:18. When the final fury and wrath will be poured out by the appointed angels, the divinely appointed instrumentalities of end-time judgement, \"no man will be able to enter into the temple\" to make intercession or turn away God`s wrath. We are still in the period or dispensation of grace; the time of intercession and invitation to escape from the wrath to come. \n\nIn the light of the unprecedented calamity that will befall unrepentant sinners during the great tribulation, believers have the duty to warn them before it is too late. We are to run with the message of salvation and deliver it to them whether they will hear or forbear. Without genuine repentance, God`s judgement upon sinners is certain.       "body": "Rev. 15:2-4, 1 John 5:4-5, Rev. 12:11-17, Exodus 15:1-18, Rev. 7:9-17, Psalm 78:12-15, Rev. 17:14, Rev. 19:16, Luke 12:4-5, 2 Theso. 1:6-12, psalm 86:9-12, Psalm 22:3-28\n\nTHE SONG OF PRAISE, VICTORY, AND WORSHIP:\n\nThose who \"Had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and his mark, and over the number of his name... sing his mark, and over the song of the Lamb\". As those who were delivered from the wrath of Pharaoh and the judgement of God under the ministry of Moses celebrated their deliverance with an appropriate song of praise.\n\n\"And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb\". The song of Moses was sung at the Red seas; the song of the Lamb will be sung at the crystal sea. The song of Moses was the song of Triumph over Egypt; the song of the Lamb is the song of triumph over Babylon. The song of Moses told how God brought His people out of oppression; the song of the Lamb tells how God brings His people into glory land. The song Moses commemorated the execution of the king of terror; the song of the Lamb celebrates the exaltation of the LORD, the triumphant King of Kings. The song of Moses was the first song in Scripture; the song of the Lamb is the last song in Scripture.\n\nWhile the plagues are upon the earth at the great tribulation, the overcomers will be rejoicing for their victory over the Antichrist and his antics to make them compromise their faith in God. \"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God...\" (Rev. 15:2-3). The standing saints are the great tribulation saints that were victorious over Satan and his agents. This victory of the tribulation saints is the \"victory of all victories\" which God guarantees to all who make everlasting fellowship with him at the end. For the participants at this eternal fellowship, some would get the victory by martyrdom, natural death or through the rapture. But by whatever means it is attained, it is the crowning glory of all efforts of striving \"to enter in at the strait gate...\" (Luke 13:24). \n\nThe victory and subsequent celebration of the redeemed reveal that with determination and faith in God, the believer can overcome the greatest obstacles and oppositions. The victory of the dead and living believers under the New Testament is consummated at the point of being caught up in the rapture of the saints. None but Christ can fashion anew the character that has been ruined by sin. He came to expel the demons that had controlled the will.52\n\nThe Lord Jesus is making experiments on human hearts through the exhibition of His mercy and abundant grace. He is effecting transformations so amazing that Satan, with all his triumphant boasting, with all his confederacy of evil united against God and the laws of His government, stands viewing them as a fortress impregnable to his sophistries and delusions. They are to him an incomprehensible mystery. \n\nThe angels of God, seraphim and cherubim, the powers commissioned to cooperate with human agencies, look on with astonishment and joy, that fallen men, once children of wrath, are through the training of Christ developing characters after the divine similitude, to be sons and daughters of God, to act an important part in the occupations and pleasures of heaven.53\n\nThey were purified in the furnace of affliction.       "title": "THE FULL AND FINAL WRATH OF GOD",
      "body": "REVELATION 15: 1-8 \n\nThis is the shortest chapter in the book of Revelation. It has a close connection with the previous chapter and with the one that follows. It gives the pledge and assurance that the worshippers of the beast would be judged and there will be the ultimate triumph of all who have faith in Christ and keep the commandments of God. \n\nAs an introduction to the subsequent chapters, this chapter details how the predicted judgements will be inflicted on all who dwell on the earth in the latter part of the great tribulation. The details are given with solemnity. \n\nThe chapter opens with the appearance of seven angels, having the last plagues that are filled up to accomplish completely the wrath of God. Then those who \"Had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image\" sing and rejoice because of their victory in the latter part of the chapter, the temple in heaven is opened and the seven angels having the seven plagues receive the commission to empty their vials, full of the wrath of God upon the earth. Their swiftness and sense of responsibility in the discharge of God`s will and command are worthy of note as there is no iota of hesitation in their quest to do the bidding of the Almighty. Like the angels, God expects true believers to be ready to do His will at all times.\n\nWHAT CAN BELIEVERS LEARN FROM THE ANGELS` READINESS TO DO THE WILL OF GOD?\n\nRev. 15:1, Rev. 16:1-21, Rev. 21:9, Rev. 17:1, Isaiah 13:9-13, Jeremiah 10:10, Zephaniah1: 14-18, Romans 1:18- 32, Romans 2:3-9, Rev. 14:9-11. Rev. 19:11-15, Zechariah 7:12\n\n\"And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them has filled up the wrath of God\".  A sign or wonder designed to hold the mind in astonishment, amazement, or wonder was beheld by Apostle John. It was a sign of terrible judgment coming on the earth. It is represented as appearing in heaven because the judgments that are to fall upon the world are to come from there. The judgments will be \"great and marvelous\" - shockingly great and overwhelming.\n\nWhile angels are ministers of mercy for the saints of God, these same angels are ministers of wrath toward sinners and the enemy of God. The seven last plagues will be the worst calamities and judgment to be inflicted on the inhabitants of the earth who forsake the true God and followed the Antichrist during the great tribulation. The plagues will be the expression of the climax of God`s wrath and indignation to be poured out on the unbelieving world of unrighteous people. God has always been working to save men from His wrath. He has always sent His servant to warn men \"to flee from the wrath to come\". As ambassadors of Christ, believers are still preaching and calling sinners to repent and receive forgiveness, favor, and grace from Christ so that they will escape the wrath and judgment of God. All who repent, believe in Christ, and receive grace to \"Live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world\" will be \"delivered... from the wrath to come\" (Titus 2:11-12, 1 Thesssalonians 1:10).",

      "title": "THE CALL TO SALVATION",
      "body": "A drowning person needs to be rescued. Someone who is sick needs the attention of a physician. The desperate cry of a person who is trapped in a building house is to be saved. Likewise, a sinner, separated from God as a result of sin, is in danger of eternal damnation and needs urgent salvation from sin.\n\nGod is \"... Not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance\" (2peter 3:9). He will punish all sinners who engage in adultery, fornication, lying, cheating, stealing, unforgiving spirit, murder, deceit, wickedness, idolatry, and other sins.\n\nThe message of the gospel centre's around the call to come to the lord Jesus Christ. It is a simple message, \"that is, the word of faith, which we preach\" that men should believe and be saved. Sadly, like the Jews, some people think that salvation comes by works of righteousness which is of the law. They engage in almsgiving, works of mercy, kindness, offerings, church service, even animal sacrifice. But the scripture says, \"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us... For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself : it is the gift of God : Not works, lest any man should boast\" (Titus3:5, Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, those who would be saved must receive the message by faith and accept the conditions by repenting of their sins and receiving Christ as Lord and Saviour.\n\nE very sinner who desire to answer God's call to salvation must repent, acknowledge their sinful nature and accept that Christ is the sacrificial Lamb who shed His blood on the cross at Calvary for the remission of our sins. \"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, Thou shalt be saved\".\n\nGod promised to pardon and forgive those who repent of their sins and surrender their lives to Christ. \" For whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved\" (Romans20:13). Besides, those who are given to lawlessness in the conduct of their dairy affairs seem to prosper while the godly are relegated to the bottom off the rung. It was in bitter consideraation of the above contradictions that the psalmist declared, \"My feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked\" (psalm 73:2-3). He furher mused; \"Behold these are the ungodly who prosper in the world; they increase in riches\" (psalm 73:12). Believers are usually tempted to fall into the same disposition when they see the wicked prosper.\n\nIf the wicked are not duly rewarded for their evil acts, what then is the incentive for doing good even when it is not convenient; and what is the deterrence for wrongdoing? We are impatient, Forgetting that one day with the lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 peter 3:8). We jump quickly into wrong and unhealthy conclusions, which tend to jeopardise our spiritual lives and those of others. Some believers feel that God is too slow in judging the wicked and they resort to spiritual jungle justice. This is the root of the 'fall and die' prayer trend which has engulfed a greater portion of the pentecostal movement.\n\nThe psalmist fell into a dangerously miserable state of mind consequent upon a shallow contemplation of the fate of wicked people of his generation. As a result, he made some false deductions and went further to generalise them. With respect to the wicked, he moaned: ONE, \"there are no bands in their death\"; TWO, \"their strength is firm \", THREE, \"neither are they plagued as other men\", FOUR \"they are not in trouble as other men. FIVE, \"they have more than the heart could wish\"; SIX, \"they prosper in their ways\", SEVEN, \"they increase in riches\".\n\nIt is obvious that the psalmist based the above suppositions on a grossly inadequate sample size of ungodly men, as well as incomplete information . Surely, his arguments do not apply to majority of the wicked .\n\nAs the psalmish approached God (the lord) for explanation, his eyes were illuminated and he saw the bigger picture. \"When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end\" (psalm73:16-17)\n\nMajority of ungodly people suffer and have encounterred great tragedies. Those who seem to prosper among them represent a very insignificant proportion of all ungodly people in the flamboyant proportionof all ungodly people in the world.\n\nA short sighted beleiver is often dazzled by the flamboyant make-believe lives and Damas, many have made a shipwreck of their Christian profession by constantly comparing themselves with the ungodly that prosper in their ways.\n\nGod will judge the wicked, but His perfect will is that theyy should repent. If He was quick to judge and slay the ungodly, many of us would have died before we hhad a chance to hear the gospel. Unfortunately, many carnal believers spend their precious time praying the death of wicked people rather than for their salvation. This is against the will and eternal purpose of God. We need to \nidentify our “big rocks” that we have to prioritize our time around. \nWhat should we prioritize each day? God, family, health, work, \nministry, friends and hobbies, last. An equally important question \nto ask to help us manage priorities is, “whose priorities are you \nfocused on?”. Matthew 6:33 commands us to put God’s priorities \nfirst; He is not saying though that we should not work anymore but \nthat God’s kingdom should be first in our agenda each day. As one \nyoung woman who loved Jesus wrote in her journal shortly before \nshe passed away, we must tread lightly on this earth because we \nare simply pilgrims (travellers) in this life—focus on the (heavenly) \nKingdom that is to come; not on either pleasure or pain on this \nearth.\nColossians 3:17 tells us that you can have the most menial job in \nthe world, and yet do it in the most God-glorifying way. Moms who \nare homeschooling, dads who take time to be with their children \nafter a tiring day at work, even those who use their downtime to \nfellowship with friends on weekends---what you do can be your \nbig rock for eternity if you do it all for the Lord. Often, you have to \nsay “no” to say “yes” to God. As our senior pastor wisely puts it: \n“I have enough time to do what God wants me to do. I won’t have \nenough time to do what God wants me to do and (everything) \nI want to do. I won’t have enough time to do what God wants me \nto do and everything others want me to do.” Know God’s Word so \nyou will know what the best \n\n------------\n\n###### `` are to say yes to.       "body": "Psalm 63:1-13\nIn the wilderness of Judah, in a thirsty land where no water is and all comfort of the palace was lacking, David resorted to the all surpassing possession of his relationship with God. That was enough for him. It was the rock of his hope in this baren land. How comforting to have the almighty God as your very own personal God. \n\nBesides his relationship with God, David was also passionate about Him. In this unlikely place in the wilderness, he sought God with all the power of his being. His soul thirsted and his flesh longed for him. He was determined to seek him early (psalm63:1). It could be rising a great while before daybreak or seeking Him early in life. David desired fellowship with God more than anything else. He had known Him from his childhood and had experienced mighty deliverances on several occasions while keeping the sheep of his father. He ascribed his exploits to the help of the lord (1 Samuel17:34-37). He knew God as his life shepherd and decided to dwell in His house all the days of his life (psalm23:1-6).While in prosperity and power in the palace, he sustained his deep longing for God. Now far away from the temple, the physical house of God in Jerusalem, his passion for Him did not diminish. Even in the wilderness, he longed to experience the power and the glory of God as he had seen it in the sanctuary.",

He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. It can lead to eternal hell. When we fail to honour God with our obedience.  We often find ourselves in situations where we think lying our way out of  situations is easier than admitting the truth.  Lying often brings destruction it cause us to hurt others,cause mistrust in relationships and often result in endless cycles of more lies. Lies ultimately leads to eternal destruction. \n\nBelievers let us strive get rid of lies  and all other sins out of our lives. Let us honour God by our obedience to his words.\nDON'T ALLOW LIES  TO CAUSE YOU TO MISS HEAVEN .\n\nREPENT AND RETURN TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. \n\nREPENT means to turn from sins to Christ.  REPENT means change. They will do what is required, of course, your name would have been changed to \"The Corpse \".\n\nThey will\n1 - Take you out of the comfort of your expensive home.\n2 - Buy you new white clothes\n3 - Wash your body\n4 - Take you to your new place of stay (the grave, where equality of mankind is assured)\n5 - Many will come to bid farewell at your funeral - in fact, many will cancel work for the sake of your burial, even though most of them didn't know you whilst you were alive.\n6 - Your belongings will be gotten rid of:\n  - Your cars\n  - Your cheque books\n  - Your bags\n  - Your shoes\n  - Your clothes\n  - Your job: Someone else will take your position (Whether in the circular world or in the church)\n   - Your wealth will go to inheritors or opportunists\n   - Whereas you will remain to be questioned about every minor and major deed.\n\nMourners will congregate and there will be 3 types of mourners over you\n 1- The people who knew you only at face value will say 'poor man'\n 2- Your friends will grieve for hours or days but then return to laughter\n 3- The deep grief at your household will last for a week, two weeks, a month, 2-months or even a year; and thereafter they will add you to their memories. And so your story amidst the people ended\nwhile your story with the reality begins: \"Eternity\". Where have you prepared to spend it? And that is the life after death\n\nIndeed, the following things will leave you:-\n - Beauty\n - Wealth\n - Health\n - Children\n - Connections and influence \n - The mansions\n - Your spouse, in fact, among those who come to mourn will be those eyeing to take over.       "title": "TESTIMONY OF HELL",
      "body": "I WALKED IN HELL\nAND THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH\n(ALINE BAXLEY'S TESTIMONY)\n\nI received the Lord in my life when I was eleven years old. I married at the\nage of seventeen, left church, and headed into a world of sin.\nTHE ONLY HELL I FEARED WAS\nSEPARATION FROM GOD\nBy the age of forty I was in my second marriage, a complete alcoholic,\nhooked on drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. I was running from the call of God\non my life. One week before my accident, I ran by my mother's house on my\nway to work. When I went in the door, Mama started weeping. She said,\n“Aline, when are you going to give your life back to God? You are looking so\nold.” Mama knew I didn't care if I lived or died. I had made several attempts\nto take my life. I was so possessed by alcohol and drugs that I couldn't\nbelieve God could or would set me free again. I had turned my back on God\nso many times that I didn't even have the right to ask Him to forgive me\nagain.\nI said, “Mama, I won't mind Hell. You tell me one thing the devil could do to\nme that my life on this earth hasn't been. I have had one heartache, sorrow,\nand Hell my entire life. The flames and the devil couldn't touch me.” I\nlooked at Mama, I said, “Mama, if there is a Heaven and if there is a Hell,\nmy Hell would be to be separated from my God I have loved so much all my\nlife.”\nI ran out the door, crying, and Mama got on her knees like she always did.\nShe prayed, “God, you heard her words. She's not afraid of death or Hell.\nSomehow, show her a portion of her Hell and turn her back around and put\nthe fear of You back in her heart.”\nTHE ACCIDENT THAT SENT ME TO HELL\nOne week later I fell asleep at the wheel of my car. I went over an\nembankment and was thrown out. I had my neck broken, four major breaks\nto my spine, nine broken ribs, crushed left lung and crushed kidneys. My\nmother was called to the hospital, and two doctors met her at the door and\ntold her my only hope was God. I would have to have a miracle from God Almighty.\nIn the meantime I found myself walking in the Valley of the Shadow of\nDeath. That valley was so deep, dark and wide, I was so afraid to even move\nan inch. I started crying out for God to stay my feet and not to let me move.\nI was in a place of thick, gross darkness. I couldn't see my hands before me.\nI had always loved the 23rd Psalm. I started quoting it: “Yea, though I walk\nthrough the Valley of the Shadow of Death...” but I couldn't go on. I couldn't\nsay His rod and staff would comfort me. I stood there with sin in my life -\nundone, to meet that Almighty God up there. The only thing that was alive\nwithin me was the Word, and the Word turned into Jesus Christ . He started\ninterceding on my behalf as my high-priest unto God the Father, to stay my\nsoul in that Valley of Death. In the right hand corner appeared the mighty\nDeath Angel. I started crying, “What is the Death Angel here for?” He had\narrived so that, on the command of the Father, he would have to separate\nme and my Lord. The Death Angel carried me out to that outer darkness. I\nfound myself in Hell, screaming, hollering, gnashing my teeth, begging the\nDeath Angel not to leave me in Hell. Souls were around me by the hundreds\nand thousands, screaming and gnashing their teeth, just trying to die.\nTHERE ARE TWO DEATHS\nWe think it's all over when we die, but that is only the death of the flesh.\nAfter that there is the second death when the judgment of God is\npronounced upon the soul. We either have a life sentence given to us in\nGod, or we have a death sentence - but we do not “die”. We do not cease\nto exist. We are even more aware after the first death. The soul lives on\nforever and forever. The rich man's soul (Luke 16:19-31) is still out there\nscreaming and hollering and gnashing his teeth, awaiting the Judgment Day,\nto be cast into the Lake of Fire.\nHere I saw a great gulf fixed, and all these souls were trying to climb up to\nGod the Father, but the only way through the deep gulf was through the\nprecious Blood of Jesus Christ, the Blood I had taken so lightly.\nThen God showed me the Lake of Fire where the third of the angels were in\nchains of darkness. There were red-hot piercing flames going through all\nHeaven and earth. Yet they gave no light. The Lake of Fire was in total\ndarkness. Hell was enlarging itself and here began this mighty, earth-\nquaking voice of God. He began to penetrate the atmosphere as He spoke to\nme. He said, “You were right not to fear the devil, though I let him kill you\nwith the first death. You fear Me. I am the One that can destroy both your\nbody and your soul. I own Hell. I had to cast these souls out here.” God said,\n“He did not create Hell for the soul of man, but Hell was enlarging because…\nbroad is the way that leads to destruction... but narrow is the way which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:13,14) Many are\non the road to destruction but refuse to turn back.\nGOD SPOKE TO ME IN HELL\nDuring the days that I lay in a coma, I waited in that dark valley. It seemed\nan eternity, but it was just a few days in earth-time. During this time my\nsister was in great intercession for my life. At last, after what seemed ages,\na bright light began to shine. It was so holy, so righteous, I wasn't fit to even\nlook up on this Almighty light. I covered my eyes and fell flat on my face in\nthat dark, deep valley. Here, for the second time that Almighty voice of God\nbegan to speak to me again. All God would say to me was Romans 11:29,\n“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”\nI screamed, “God forgive me!” I thought I was dying at this point, as my\ncrushed lung began swelling and my right lung deflated, and for four\nminutes I didn't breathe. They were trying to force a copious volume of\noxygen into my lungs, but there was no improvement. They tested me after\nfour minutes. There was no life at all - one more minute and they would\nhave pronounced me dead and would have taken me off all life - sustaining\nmachines.\nMY SIN\nI didn't know what all they were doing to try to save my life, but I knew I\nwas dying. There appeared in the Heavens a beautiful scroll. A hand\nappeared and began rolling it out. There, in a matter of seconds, I saw my\nentire life before me - everything I had ever done. And that same Jesus that\nloved me so much and wouldn't leave me in the valley had to take His finger\nand write my judgment across my life. I saw Him write the name of my sin\nthat was going to separate me and God forever. I could not believe the word\nthe mighty hand of God began writing across my life. That mighty finger\nbegan writing the word “LUST” across my life! The thing I had called love\nfor my husbands, God called LUST!\nI started screaming, “No God, no God, that's not me, that's not me!” I had\nnever considered myself a lustful woman. I knew I was dying when I saw my\njudgment. As I died, I was hollering, “God, forgive me, forgive me! Have\nmercy on me!”\nCALLED FROM MY MOTHER'S WOMB\nI found myself back in the spiritual womb of my mother. God let me witness\nhow hard my mother and my sister travailed in prayer to birth me back\nagain into the Kingdom of God. In the vision which the Lord gave me then, I\nsaw how my sister started praying so hard to rebirth me, she turned into a\nskeleton; all her flesh was consumed off her. A doctor will tell you, that  there is just a hair's breadth between life and death when a mother gives\nbirth to her child.\nI saw myself as I had once been but a “substance” back in my mother's\nwomb. Here, for the third time, the voice of Almighty God spoke again. He\nsaid, “Before you were in this belly, I foreknew you, I called you and\nordained you from the foundation of the world. In the same manner that I\ncould not repent of the call on the life of My only begotten Son, I won't\nrepent of the call I have placed on men's lives.” And one more time God\nrepeated, “I will not repent.” My mother began to have labor pains. Each\npain began bringing life back to this undefinable “substance” that was me,\nuntil life was restored to me. Again I could feel the presence of Jesus and\nthe Holy Spirit upon my life as it had been in my unborn state. I was being\nformed anew with each labor pain. (When we are newborn in the Spirit, we\nhave many, many growing pains.) As my mother began bearing down on that\nlast birth pain, it moved me in my mother's womb and positioned my head\nup to the opening of my mother's birth canal. As I burst through her birth\ncanal, God was saying to me, “Preach My Word, My Word, My Word, every\nword will be held accountable on the Judgment Day.”\nTHERE IS A HEAVEN AND THERE IS A HELL!\nLittle ones, I truly found out there is a Heaven. I saw the lights of paradise.\nBut there is also a Hell. I've walked in Hell. God answered my mother's\nprayer that He would let me experience the Hell I had described. My Hell\nwould be separation from my God Whom I loved so much and Whom I had\naccepted as my Savior at the age of eleven.\nWhen the soul sees it's going to be separated from it's God for all eternity, it\nplunges into such a terrible spiritual fire, as can never be kindled on earth.\nIt is the spiritual torture of a soul that has once known God and now is cast\ninto that outer, outer darkness, separated from God, his Creator, forever\nand ever.\nMy friend, I truly found out there is a Hell. I walked in the pits of Hell. You\nmust choose while you are in this life where you are going to spend\neternity, in Heaven or Hell. We just begin to live when we die the first\ndeath. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”\n(Hebrews 9:27). You have an appointment with God and you are going to\nkeep that appointment. The Bible describes Hell (and I found this to be\ntrue) as a place of future punishment for sinners and unbelievers. Hell is a\nLake of Fire, a place of torment, a place where lost souls never die and the\nfire is not quenched, a place of weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth, a place\nwhere sinners drink of the wine of the wrath of God, a place where the\nsmoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever. The rich man's soul is\nstill screaming and crying out, just trying to die; but there is no death to the  soul. It lives on forever. The fire of Hell consumes the flesh, but it cannot\nconsume the soul. I am a living witness that Hell is real. Hell is enlarging\nbecause people refuse to believe. You must make the greatest decision\nyou'll ever have to make. Every soul in\nHell would give anything in this world to be me or you, back in this life, with\none more chance to cry out, “God forgive me!” If we come to that dark\nValley of Death with unrepented sin in our life, it will be too late. You may\nnot have a praying mother and sister that will pray for your soul until they\ndie.\n“I HAVE CALLED BUT YOU REFUSED”\nSo many, many times while I sat on the bar stools, God spoke Proverbs 1:24\nto my heart, “I have called but you refused. I have called but you refused. I\nhave called but you refused.” It was sad that at forty years of age I was still\nrunning from God, bound by drugs and alcohol. God had to break my neck\nand let me die for four minutes and take me to Hell and back before I would\ntotally surrender my life to Him.\nSTOP RUNNING FROM GOD!\nDon't keep running from God. Like me you may think you know Him as your\nLord and Savior. But if you keep running from doing His will, you'll run right\ninto a God of Wrath in that dark Valley of Death and He will be your Judge.\nThere is a side of God that is one of great wrath, and that is how you will\nmeet Him on the Judgment Day. You will face the truth you have feared and\nwill know there is a Hell, with a Lake of Fire and Brimstone.\nBut you don't have to take a chance on going to Hell. He did not create your\nsoul for Hell. He created Heaven for you and Hell for the devil and his\nangels. You can say, “That 'Hell' business is for yesterday - intelligent\npeople don't believe that nonsense anymore!” But, friend, you can't keep\nfrom dying. Death will claim you and you can't keep from going there. But\nthen it will be too late. Woe, woe, woe, to you if you shun God's plan of\nsalvation! God is a God of wrath as well as a God of love, and woe be unto\nthe person upon whom His wrath falls. WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?\nWhere will you spend eternity? It will be in one of two places, Heaven, or\nHell with its Lake of Fire and Brimstone. Unless you repent of your sins and\nbelieve on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it will be Hell. God\ndid not create Hell for you, my beloved, He created Heaven for the soul of\nman, and He created Hell for the devil and his angels. And if we go there, it\nwill be our fault. Jesus made a way for you and me by the shedding of His\nprecious Blood.\nYou can be free from all your sins and make Heaven your eternal home\nforever. Accept Jesus into your life. He will heal your broken heart and set\nyou free from drugs, alcohol, disease and all sins. If the Lord could set me\nfree, He can also set you free. Beloved, I am a living witness: There is a\nHell. I have walked there, I have been there screaming, hollering, weeping,\nwailing, gnashing my teeth, begging God not to command the Death Angel to\nleave me in Hell.       "body": "The Identity of Abaddon\n\nIn the Book of Revelation ( 9:1-11 ), when the Apostle John sees his vision of the fifth trumpet blowing, a vast horde of demonic horsemen is seen arising from the newly opened abyss. \n\nThey are sent forth to torment the unfortunate inhabitants of earth, but not to kill them. They have a ruler over them, called a king (basileia [basileiva]), the angel of the abyss, whose name is given in both Hebrew and Greek. In Hebrew it is Abaddon and in Greek Apollyon, both words meaning Destroyer or Destruction.\n\nThe word only occurs once in the New Testament ( Rev 9:11 ) and only five times in the Old Testament (Job 26:6  ; 28:22 ; 31:12 ; Psalm 88:11 ; Prov 15:11 ). In Psalm 88:11 Destruction is parallel to the grave; in Job 26:6 and Proverbs 26:6 it is parallel to Sheol; in Job 28:22 it is parallel to Death. job 31:12 says sin is a fire that burns to destruction. So in the Old Testament Abaddon means the place of utter ruin, death, desolation, or destruction.\n\nThe angel of the abyss is called Destruction or Destroyer because his task is to oversee the devastation of the inhabitants of the earth.\n\nAlthough Satan has gone by many names, Apollyon is not one of them. Abaddon appears to be a demon who works under him who rules an Abyss full of locusts that will arrive onstage during the Final Days. The locusts will bite, sting, or cause pain to those who do not believe in the Lord Jesus.\n\nAnd it goes to the 1 Enoch:\n\nApollyon = Abaddon = Azazel\n\nBoth Apollyon and Abaddon mean \"destroyer\". In the Book of Enoch it is Azazel who specifically taught mankind to make the instruments of war. These instruments were subsequently used to decimate the children of Azazel and the other angels' children after Azazel was bound in the Abyss.
