I am doing good, infact, I feel lot better since I received a Gold Foiled Legendary as part of the booster pack received today.\n\nI have been a Splinterlands player since about a month and so far so good.\n\nBut, today, it was a day to remember for me as a Splinterlands Player as I pulled a **Gold Foiled Legendary** monster from the Untamed pack I received for completing the Daily Quest.\n\nBelow are the details of rewards from Daily Quest including an Untamed pack as we can see the last reward.\n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/f0NQx8P9-image.png)</center>\n\nI had few potions and decided to open the pack straightaway as I was curious about it and when I opened the cards, I got monsters cards as below including that *Gold Foiled Legendary* **Magnor**.\n\n![coolmonstersuntamed080720.JPG](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/WiB7DZxZ-coolmonsters-untamed080720.JPG)\n\nThis is my first Gold Foiled Legendary although I got few Regular Legendary monsters from Season End Rewards including **Spirit Miner**\n\nThe Gold Foiled Card is currently priced at **$62** and I listed it at $60 for someone to buy it.\n\nNow that, I pulled the huge amount monster and not sure whether to keep the card or just list it for selling on Market.\n\nI just listed it for selling and try to get regular cards to level up some from the DEC I am gonna get.\n\nWe are into half way mark and **I am already into Gold I league**, my best so far in previous seasons and with a little push, I can make it to Diamond Leagues, but my low rating and less effective cards means, it's not an easy task to complete.\n\nI hope you all are enjoying the Splinterlands battles with all those new rewards cards being paid thru Daily Quest.\n\n**Thank you and wishing you all good day and happy battling thru Splinterlands cards.**",

      "body": "## Hi Friends,\n\nIt's just my second season and I am already into so many battle because I like this game and I keep battling.\n\nI opened the chests today morning from the Season End Rewards, 30 chests in all for completing in Gold I league and the details are as below.\n\nI was fortunate to get couple of gold foiled cards **Ettin Spearman** and **Screeching Vulture** and an Epic **Kretch Tallevor**, one of the new rewards cards introduced.\n\nAs we know, **Kretch Tallevor** is a Dragon summoner and with 3 mana cost, it should be the one we will be seeing more and more used by lower ranked players instead of the current Untamed Dragon summoner or high cost Daria Dragonscale and other summoners.\n\nWe can see below that, I got a **Silvershield Assassin**, an **Octopider**, an **Ant Miners** along with a **Baby Unicorn** as reward cards.\n\nThere are many Alchemy potions and a Legendary potion as well.\n\n![coolmonstersSeasonEndRewards300620.JPG](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/S6kAOy3h-coolmonsters-SeasonEndRewards-300620.JPG)\n\nIn the below one, 2 gold foiled monsters and an epic **Kretch Tallevor** as summoner and few common cards.\n\nBut from both above screenshots, we can see couple of huge DEC returns.\n\n![coolmonstersSeasonEndRewards3006202.JPG](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/GTWJSoGs-coolmonsters-SeasonEndRewards-300620-2.JPG)\n\nI got  chest with 1403 DEC and another one with 1310 DEC with many others in the range of 20 to 40 DEC which all counts roughly about 3K DEC!!!! not a bad one for someone who is just into third season.\n\nHopefully, these rewards will help me to level up few cards and new rewards cards are always exciting and I should be using wherever there is mana cap which can accommodate the new cards.\n\nThanks all for reading and hopefully, you all got good returns and raring to go in the new season.\n\nI am as excited as ever to go and battle it out to level up the cards and reach new levels in Splinterlands rankings.\n\nWishing you all happy Wednesday in advance :)\n",

      "body": "## Hi friends,\n\nThis is my first ever blog on HIVE and I am blogging about the Weekly Challenge for Splinterlands battles involving a monster **Twisted Jester**.\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/atACqBB7-image.png)\nhttps://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-twisted-jester\n\n###### Twisted Jester is a Death Splinter Rare monster from Alpha and Beta editions and me being a new Splinterlands player(playing since 3 weeks), I have to purchase one from **monstermarket.io** in order to participate in this Weekly Challenge and I am happy to win the battle with couple of initial battles itself with **Twisted Jester**.\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/ERWl9BAf-image.png)\n\n**Twisted Jester** being a *ranged attack* death splinter monster, gives us 2 ranged attack which is with *snipe* ability and can be a maximum of 4 ranged attack at level 8.\n\nIt has good speed starting with 3 and a maximum of 4 from level 4 onwards and also has good health beginning with 4 and a high of 6 in levels 6 and 8.\n\nThe abilities of *snipe* from level 1 and *dodging* from level 5 makes it one of the best *snipe* monsters and also has increased chances of evading the attack from melee and ranged attack monsters due to *dodging*.\n\n---\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/Zvc28yb2-image.png)\nhttps://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=c36e45611ceaf469579dd9156efa29250f0794df\n\nThe battle I fought for this weekly challenge was with 17 mana and included battle scenarios **Equalizer** and **Even Stevens**.\n\n**Equalizer** being the battle enabling all monsters to have mana of the monster with highest mana from both sides and **Even Stevens** enabling only the monsters with even mana cost.\n\nFor this low mana battle, I included monsters as below including Twisted Jester.\n\n**1. Animated Corpse:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/GqFH1ZqO-image.png)\n\nMe still being a new Splinterlands player, have some cards delegated to me and this is one such monsters and I used this because this was the one with 2 melee attack and the one with highest mana among the cards I used.\n\n**2. Boogeyman:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/OjeGkLgj-image.png)\n\nNext, I included **Boogeyman** since that was the only other card from melee or magic attack with 2 attack and it's ability of *slow* will be useful in such low mana battles.\n\n**3. Twisted Jester:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/It5DbLFq-image.png)\n\nThis is the monster featured in this week's challenge and being a *ranged* attack monster with *snipe* ability, helps in removing second line *ranged* or *magic* monsters and was particularly useful in this battle to remove **Spark Pixies**.\n\n**4. Furious Chicken:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/WN6sdxBy-image.png)\n\nThis No mana cost monster I used in the last position since this being a *Equalizer* battle and gives protection to other monsters from *sneak* attack.\n\n### Battle:\n\nThis battle with 17 mana cost, but with *Equalizer* battle type is expected to be of medium rounds and opponent used **Daria Dragonscale** Summoner to increase the melee attack by one and involved **Elven Defender** and **Spark Pixies** in his lineup.\n\n**Round 1:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/G6NQSRVM-image.png)\n\nIn round 1, Summoners bluffing and de-bluffing enabled opponent's **Elven Defender** to gain a melee attack to go one up to 3 and the Summoner I used, reduced the ranged attack by one from opponent's **Spark Pixies** making it the attack as per original attack.\n\nAlso, **Boogeyman** usage reduced opponent's monsters speed by one.\n\n**Round 2:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/tV3fHNRf-image.png)\n\n**Animated Corpse** with 4 health before second round started, has to go off because of combined attack of 4 from **Elven Defender** and **Spark Pixies** and **Boogeyman** now got elevated into the main attack position and it's usage proved to be worthy as it could withstand the attack from both monsters I mentioned above and see through the battle.\n\n**Round 3:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/cYJTUiUl-image.png)\n\nNo monster was removed in this round, but **Boogeyman's** magic attack kept reducing the health of **Elven Defender** and it was left with 2 health by the end of this round.\n\n**Round 4:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/MbjhYeyR-image.png)\n\n**Elven Defender** finally removed in this round because of **Boogeyman's** magic attack and **Spark Pixies** couldn't attack further because it being a *ranged attack* monster.\n\n**Round 5:**\n\n![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/coolmonsters/VJwIRYKa-image.png)\n\n**Spark Pixies** has to bow down to magic and ranged attack monsters I had by this round and that was a win for me.\n\n**Twisted Jester** missed to attack the **Spark Pixies** couple of times due to *flying* ability, but was crucial in this win and **Boogeyman** was equally helpful as well.\n\n---\n\n### Questions from Splinterlands team:\n\n#### Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?\n\nI think yes, although, the usage of **Boogeyman** was a last minute thought, it proved to be important one in this battle involving **Twisted Jester**, but this was also the best lineup from the limited monsters I have.\n\nNothing I could have tried differently since these are the only 3 monsters with best attack level for me.\n\n---\n\n#### Do you use the TWISTED JESTER often?
