| body | Hey crypto ray, Thanks for the comment! Serving the unbanked is definitely an ambitious goal for any blockchain company to tackle straight out of the flood gates. However, I believe their initial product and roadmap will focus on cities that have established cryptocurrency hubs. This will build reputability and give the team a chance to fix any kinks or issues with their product. Localbitcoins.com is a centralized platform that allows crypto holders to buy or sell online or offline with fiat or other payment methods. They are used in unbanked countries already. Dether, hopefully, will be able to provide more online trading of assets as they develop their product and escrow system. Thankfully localbitcoin has given users a sense of security which Dether can take to the next level using the blockchain. Profitability will be determined by the transaction rate you charge. I believe people value security, their identity, speed of receiving the crypto (Coinbase can take up to a week), and protecting your earnings (for countries suffering from hyperinflation ) that buyers will pay a higher transaction rate. |

| body | maybe i have missed something here. But it doesn't seem to me like this application has much use. The goal is to bring cryptocurrency to the unbanked. Well the unbanked are people who live in areas where its hard to even have a bank account. So with Dether, they can now buy cryptocurrency and have it on their phone like a mobile bank. The only problem is they need to actually meet up with some one who owns cryptocurrency to sell to them. I would think that these people usually do not live in the same geographical location as those who are considered unbanked. it is an interesting idea. i would be interested in it if selling could be a profitable enterprise. But is it really profitable for me to run around all day meeting people who want to buy my crypto in New jersey? feel free to correct me if i am misinformed about Dether. |

| body | What is Zilliqa (ZIL) and Should you invest? Before going into my review of what Zilliqa (ZIL) is I would like to discuss with you a few key things that I look for when considering an investment. When searching for an investment that could potentially bring you 10-100x returns you need to do you due diligence and have a strategy in place. With that being said, I will only invest in blockchains or infrastructure projects for the most part because I have noticed through my analysis that they bring the highest returns on average. Not only do they give you the highest average returns, but they get dumped the least as opposed to Dapps. Sure, there are some great Dapps (decentralized apps) out there that have given investors some seriously impressive returns, but I tend to stay away from them unless it really catches my eye. Some other key things to look for are: 1. Does the project already have a working product? 2. Does the project have a great team? 3. How big is the community surrounding the project? (Twitter, Telegram, Reddit, etc) 4. How much has the project's price increased since its ICO and since it was listed on exchanges? 5. And finally, always BTFD! (that's "Buy the F***ing Dips" for those of you who don't know) Now that we have our strategy in place let's take a closer look at what Zilliqa actually is. Below are some key metrics about ZIL at the time of writing: market cap: unknown circulating supply: unknown total supply: 12,600,000,000 Zilliqa is a blockchain protocol designed for use by developers of Dapps. Zilliqa claims to be a next generation high throughput blockchain 3.0 platform. All this means is that Ziliqa was built to scale to thousands of transactions per second through the use of sharding, which we will discuss later on. What Problem is Zilliqa looking to solve? Existing cryptocurrencies/smart contract platforms suffer from scalability issues. What this means is that the number of transactions they are capable of processing per second is extremely limited. As you can imagine this would deter large companies like Facebook, for example, from utilizing the blockchain because they would require much faster transaction rates. Ethereum, for example, can only process about 10 transactions per second. So what can be done about this HUGE scalability issue? Enter Zilliqa. Zilliqa claims to be able to reach transaction speeds in the thousands per second and will only continue to get faster as the network grows. At Ethereum’s current network size, Zilliqa claims it will be able to scale about a thousand times faster. They have built a blockchain protocol with the specific intention of fixing these scalability issues that current blockchains suffer from through the use of sharding. But what is sharding? In order to understand what sharding is we must first understand how blockchains like Ethereum work. Currently, all nodes in the Ethereum network store and process each and every transaction that takes place on the network. As you can imagine this is a huge problem because as the network grows each transaction will have to get validated by more and more nodes, thus increasing the time it takes for the transaction to be processed. This is exactly why large applications can not feasibly be hosted on the blockchain. This is also exactly why a stupid application like CryptoKitties was able to have daunting effects on the Ethereum network. They are just too large. Zilliqa aims to solve this scalability issue through sharding. Basically, sharding means to divide the mining network into smaller shards, each capable of processing transactions in parallel. Get it? Simply put, it is the use of a smaller subset of network nodes to validate every single transaction instead of waiting for every node in the network. This saves a bunch of time because as the network grows, it will not require every node to validate every single transaction. I believe this is a HUGE idea and Zilliqa are the first to market when it comes to sharding. Sharding is a new concept/protocol that many hope will revolutionize the industry and help to take it mainstream It must be noted that Ethereum and other blockchains have discussed the possibility of reengineering their blockchains to utilize sharding. However, Zilliqa is the first blockchain to actually implement it. Furthermore, they claim that while Ethereum and other blockchains may be able to implement sharding and thus increase their transaction rates, they will never be able to be as fast as Zilliqa because it was built from scratch with the specific intention of scalability. Zilliqa Network: There are two main entities of the Zilliqa network. Users and Miners. 1. Users-external entity who uses the Zilliqa infrastructure to transfer funds and/or run smart contracts. Users pay for transaction processing or running smart contracts in the form of the ZIL token. 2. Miners-nodes in network who run Zilliqa’s consensus protocol and get rewarded in ZIL for their service. Should you invest? I am not a financial advisor. Invest in ZIL at your own risk and not without DYOR. With that being said I think ZIL is a HUGE idea and is trying to solve a MAJOR problem that current blockchains suffer from today. I believe as a first mover in the sharding arena they have a very big advantage. However, at the time of writing this article I believe ZIL is overpriced. It is currently sitting at $.08 down from its initial listing of around $.13. Currently Zil is already up almost 22x its ICO price $.0038. To me this is alarming. However, Zilliqa does have a working product which is something I’d like to see. But, it should be noted that the mainnet release is not scheduled for Q2 of 2018, some months away. This is another reason I believe ZIL to be overpriced at the moment. After some thorough research of the team I am neither impressed nor alarmed. Many of the team member seem to be members of academia and don’t have much work experiences with any major tech companies or things of that nature. However, the advisors on Zilliqa really do stand out as two of them were advisors on the Kyber project. Zilliqa is fresh out of the gates having been first listed on exchanges on the 25th of January. I do believe that Zilliqa could have a strong future especially considering it is targeting asian markets. But, because I believe ZIL is overpriced, the mainnet launch is a few months away, and the team isn’t as strong as I would like to see; I will not consider investing in Zilliqa unless the price drops below $.05. Thank you for reading one of my very first articles on Steemit. I hope I did a good job informing and educating those of you not yet familiar with ZIL. If you liked this article please give me a follow! Again, I am not a financial advisor, just a crypto enthusiast who has made a bunch of money sitting in front of his computer! Thanks for the read, until next time. |

How much has the project's price increased since its ICO and since it was listed on exchanges?\n5. And finally, always BTFD! (that's \"Buy the F***ing Dips\" for those of you who don't know)\n\nNow that we have our strategy in place let's take a closer look at what Zilliqa actually is. Below are some key metrics about ZIL at the time of writing:\nmarket cap: unknown\ncirculating supply: unknown\ntotal supply: 12,600,000,000\n\nZilliqa is a blockchain protocol designed for use by developers of Dapps. Zilliqa claims to be a next generation high throughput blockchain 3.0 platform. All this means is that Ziliqa was built to scale to thousands of transactions per second through the use of sharding, which we will discuss later on. \n\nWhat Problem is Zilliqa looking to solve?\nExisting cryptocurrencies/smart contract platforms suffer from scalability issues. What this means is that the number of transactions they are capable of processing per second is extremely limited. As you can imagine this would deter large companies like Facebook, for example, from utilizing the blockchain because they would require much faster transaction rates. Ethereum, for example, can only process about 10 transactions per second. So what can be done about this HUGE scalability issue?\n\nEnter Zilliqa. \n\nBut what is sharding? \nIn order to understand what sharding is we must first understand how blockchains like Ethereum work. \n\nZilliqa Network:\nThere are two main entities of the Zilliqa network. Users and Miners.\n1. Users-external entity who uses the Zilliqa infrastructure to transfer funds and/or run smart contracts. Users pay for transaction processing or running smart contracts in the form of the ZIL token. \n2. Miners-nodes in network who run Zilliqa’s consensus protocol and get rewarded in ZIL for their service. \n\nShould you invest?\nI am not a financial advisor. But, because I believe ZIL is overpriced, the mainnet launch is a few months away, and the team isn’t as strong as I would like to see; I will not consider investing in Zilliqa unless the price drops below $.05.\n\nThank you for reading one of my very first articles on Steemit. I hope I did a good job informing and educating those of you not yet familiar with ZIL. If you liked this article please give me a follow! Again, I am not a financial advisor, just a crypto enthusiast who has made a bunch of money sitting in front of his computer! Thanks for the read, until next time.",

| body | What is Simple Token (OST) and Should you invest? Before going into my review of what Simple Token (OST) is i would like to discuss with you a few key things that I look for when considering an investment. (that's "Buy the F***ing Dips" for those of you who don't know) Now that we have our strategy in place let's take a closer look at what Simple Token actually is. Below are some key metrics about OST at the time of writing: market cap: 370,925,300 circulating supply: 35,500,000 total supply: 100,000,000 Simple Token is an infrastructure project for developers that is built on the Ethereum blockchain. Their mission is to easily enable any company or application to utilize blockchain technology without the need for expertise in blockchain. The target market is mainstream consumer applications. This is a huge idea that aims at solving a MAJOR problem with blockchains today. Current blockchains such as Ethereum suffer from many challenges that include but are not limited to: latency, high transaction fees, scalability, and privacy. These blockchains are cumbersome which is one of the reasons that blockchain has not yet gone mainstream. We all know the story of how a simple app like CryptoKitties was able to slow down the Ethereum Network in a dramatic way. Simple Token seeks to solve this problem by allowing for the use of sidechains to help bridge the gap between blockchain and mainstream consumer application. But what are sidechains? Put simply, sidechains are used to fix the current scalability issue that blockchains are having. For example, having all applications built on the Ethereum Mainchain is and will continue to slow down the blockchain, thus making it less desirable for mainstream adoption. With the use of a sidechain, Dapps can instead be built on the sidechain without slowing down the mainchain. Furthermore, the Simple Token protocol was designed to be extremely user friendly. This means that any mainstream consumer application can easily create their own token and benefit from deploying their own crypto-backed economies without having to actually build or maintain the blockchain. In fact, it requires no real blockchain expertise at all. Instead they can focus on the core of their business and stick to what they know while still reaping the rewards that blockchain technology has to offer. How is this project unique? Well, Simple Token claims to be the only platform that targets mainstream consumer applications with user friendly software that will allow them to utilize the blockchain. This means that any company can utilize blockchain technology and issue tokens without complex programming knowledge, without having to launch an ICO, and without having to deal with all of the regulation hassles. But what about Bancor, isn’t their mission similar? Yes and no. The main difference between Simple Token and Bancor is that Bancor was designed to be used by developers who already have extensive knowledge of blockchain protocols and languages. Now that we know what Simple Token is and what they hope to achieve let's talk a little bit about the infrastructure itself. OST tokens: OST tokens enable holders to apply to become members of the platform to stake against launching their own branded tokens. This means the utility tokens or “Branded tokens” will retain their value because they will be backed by the OST tokens. Branded Tokens: Branded tokens are created by member companies for use within their individual communities. Unlike OST tokens, these tokens are not tradeable outside of the Simple Token ecosystem. These branded tokens offer many advantages to the member companies and the end user that are simply not present in most other blockchain ecosystems at the moment. Some of these advantages include: enabling microtransactions, increasing transaction rates, and allowing mainstream apps to tokenize the end-user consumer experience. Member Companies: Member companies are simply companies or applications looking to create Branded Tokens. Should you invest? I am not a financial advisor. Invest in OST at your own risk and not without DYOR. With that being said, I think OST may prove to be a solid long term investment. The idea behind the project is big and I can see a wide variety of use cases in the future. If you believe that blockchain technology is the future like i do, then you should be able to foresee a time when non-blockchain companies are scrambling to keep up with their competitors who have already made the transition into the blockchain. With their assumed lack of knowledge, Simple Token could provide a seamless transition into a technology that would otherwise be too technical for them to figure out in a timely manner. At $.67 OST is up 7x since its ICO and is down from it's all time high at $1.43. This thing still has some more room to grow. Currently OST has a market cap of around $175MM. If OST could just reach the top 30 by market cap that would bring its market cap to right around $1.3BB. (1.3BB/175MM=7x) That’s 7x your money, not bad! Furthermore, the Simple Token team is HUGE, consisting of members from all kinds of different backgrounds with years of knowledge and expertise. Jason Goldberg, CEO, has over 18 years experience in bringing products to scale and has previously founded the Pepo app. The last thing I want to address is that Simple Token has just launched ostKYC, The Complete KYC & Whitelisting Solution for ICOs. This is very exciting because it proves that Simple Token will never stop innovating and finding solutions for problems that keep popping up in our new crypto world! Thank you for reading on of my first articles on Steemit. I hope I did a good job informing and educating those of you not yet familiar with OST. I am eager to hear your feedback and network with all of you. Again, I am not a financial advisor, just a crypto enthusiast who has made a bunch of money sitting in front of his computer! | body | What is Quantstamp and Should you invest? Before going into my review of what Quantstamp or (QSP) is i would like to discuss with you a few key things that I look for when considering an investment. Sure, there are some great Dapps out there that have given investors some seriously impressive returns, but I tend to stay away from them unless it really catches my eye. (that's "Buy the F***ing Dips" for those of you who don't know) Now that we have our strategy in place let's take a closer look at what Quantstamp actually is. Below are some key metrics about Quantstamp at the time of writing: market cap: $278,615,491 Circulating supply: 617,314,171 total supply: 976,442,388 Quantstamp is calling itself Security 3.0. It is the first smart contract security-auditing protocol. If your new to blockchain and cryptocurrency that sentence can seem a bit confusing and intimidating. But all that really means is that they want to automate the smart contract process which will make it more secure, scalable, and cost efficient. This is an infrastructure project for developers that is built to be an Ethereum extension. What does this mean? This means that Quantstamp is not its own blockchain per se and is built to help solve some of the security issues that Ethereum is currently having with its smart contracts. What is the need for Quantstamp? Currently blockchain networks, such as Ethereum are secure, however, their smart contracts are not. Just last summer a hacker stole $30MM Ether due to one little bug in a smart contract and this has not been the only case. With the growing demand of the blockchain and expansion of the market the need for smart contracts is expected to grow from 500,000 to 2MM in less than 1 year. With that growth will also come the growth of more and more smart contract bugs and errors. Currently all smart contract auditing has to be contracted out to auditing companies which produces a whole other bag of issues. These consulting companies are not practical, as they are expensive because they employ human auditors that require salaries to audit each and every smart contract. Employing security auditing companies also requires the blockchain to put its trust in one company. And of course, we must allow for the unavoidable human error that will cause more and more money to be stolen from smart contracts. Quantstamp seeks to solve all of those problems by completely automating the process, thus eventually eliminating the need for human security audits all together. This will make security audits much cheaper, more scalable, and of course nearly impenetrable. Infastructure Network: Every infrastructure project is made up of different participants that have different functions within the ecosystem. The Qsp tokens will be used to pay for, receive, and/or improve upon verification services. All this means is that the tokens will be used to pay for verification services for the auditing of the smart contracts. 1. Contributors- are paid QSP for contributing verification services 2. Validators- receive QSP tokens for running validation nodes and contributing computing power to the network. 3. Bug Finders- receive QSP for finding bugs in smart contracts 4. Contract Creators- Pay QSP to get smart contracts verified 5. Contract Users- have access to results of smart contract security audits. 6. Voters- Quantstamp was built to be modular and upgradeable. What this means is the voters self govern quanstamp in order to reduce the chance of forks and to decentralize influence of the Quantstamp team over time. Should you Invest in Quantstamp? I am not a financial Advisor. Invest at your own risk and DYOR. With that being said, i think Quantstamp is a great project with a HUGE idea that could see some nice returns in 2018. They have a proven product which is one of the most important things to look for in my opinion. They have successfully audited the Request Network smart contracts and popular YouTube star, Ian Balina's, smart contract for pooling. Currently, at $.44 QSP is only up 6x since its ICO price of $.07. QSP current market cap is around $275,000,000. If it can reach the top 20 by market cap this year that would give it a market cap of around $2BB. ($2BB/$275MM=7X). That's a 7 times return on your money, not bad. Furthermore, Quantstamp is trying to solve a real problem that is expected to only get worse in the future. As the market expands, more and more businesses and services will move in the direction of the blockchain. With that influx will come the rapid increase in the number of smart contracts all over the world. Security should be of the upmost importance. Thank you for reading one of my first article's on Steemit. I hope I did a good job informing and educating those of you not yet familiar with Quantstamp. I am eager to hear your feedback. Again, I am not a financial advisor, just a crypto enthusiast who has made a bunch of money sitting in front of his computer! Thanks for the read, until next time. Cryptorayrv |

| body | ![[email protected]](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaSZPSxdNJozxmp3o28jz1exdyWNhER3AixhLRa98G3wH/nebulas%402x.png) What is Nebulas and Should you invest? Before going into my review of what Nebulas or (NAS) is i would like to discuss with you a few key things that I look for when considering an investment. Sure, there are some great Dapps out there that have given investors some seriously impressive returns, but I tend to stay away from them unless it really catches my eye. (that's "Buy the F***ing Dips" for those of you who don't know) Now that we have our strategy in place let's take a closer look at what Nebulas actually is. Below are some key metrics about NAS at the time of writing: market cap: 370,925,300 circulating supply: 35,500,000 total supply: 100,000,000 Nas, in short, is an open source blockchain 3.0. It is a decentralized search framework for ALL block chains. Think Google Search Engine for block chains, but only bigger and better. Nebulas aims to be for block chains what google was for the internet. This does not mean that you will be able to go onto the nebulas site and search the web in a decentralized way. What this means is that Nebulas utilizes a ranking system that we will go into more detail about below to allow for the search of all blockchain data. However, Nas is not just a search engine. It is also a fully functional blockchain 3.0 aimed for use by developers much like Ethereum. Nebulas has 3 main features: 1. Nebulas Rank 2. Nebulas Force 3. Developer Incentive Protocol Nebulas Rank: Value ranking Nebulas rank is basically the measure of value in the world of blockchains. What does this mean? Well, this means that you will not be logging onto Nebulas to look up definitions or google your favorite celebrities! Sorry to disappoint you, but I think Nebulas is much cooler than that! Nebulas rank is used to measure the importance of various blockchain users, smart contracts, and Dapps (decentralized apps). Why would i want to do this you might ask? Well, you could use this function to find many useful things such as: which blockchain is gaining the most traction, which exchanges (including DEXs) move the most volume, or to show all prediction smart contracts. Nebulas Force: Self Evolving With Nebulas force, the blockchain is created with the intent of being self evolving. What does this mean? Well what this means is that it basically intends to firstly not have any of the existing problems and scalability issues that Ethereum is currently having; and secondly, to be able to adapt/evolve to any future unforeseen issues that may occur. Nebulas force allows for the flexibility to make changes, incorporate new technology, and fix bugs without having to hardfork. If you can't see how HUGE these features are, especially with all the problems Ethereum is having right now, then you probably shouldn't even be considering investing in Crypto at this time. Developer Incentive Protocol: Incentive for Developers What this means is that basically developers will get rewarded for creating better Dapps. The Dapps will be ranked using Nebulas Rank and higher ranked Dapps will get higher rewards in the form of NAS. With the incentive protocol developers will now be motivated to develop even better Dapps and to choose the Nebulas platform over alternatives on the market. So why should you invest? I am not a financial advisor. Invest in NAS at your own risk and not without DYOR. With that being said I think NAS is a great investment and has the potential to even bring 50x-100x times returns just this year! Why? Well for starters this is a great project that brings a bit of uniqueness to a blockchain platform. At the time of writing this article NAS is only up 5x since its ICO. To put this in perspective for you, two other blockchain platforms that were listed recently are ICON (ICX) and DRAGONCHAIN, both up 70x and 36x respectively since there ICOs. Currently NAS has a market cap of around $370,000,000. If it were to reach the top 10 by market cap next year that would bring the market cap of NAS to right around $7,000,000,000. ($7,000,000/$370,000,000=19) That's a 19x return on your money if NAS is able to reach the $7 billion market cap by years end, a feat that is not at all impossible in this market as we have seen. Furthermore, as far as the team goes, they are top notch A++. The founder and CEO, Hitters Xu was also the founder of Antshares (NEO), former director of Alibaba's financial arm, part of the Google's Search & Anti-Fraud team, and much much more. Seriously, go check out the team on their website if you don't believe me. It doesn't get much better in my opinion. It is also important to point out that NAS hasn't even hit any major exchanges yet and its only a matter of time. The last thing i would like to point out is that the team plans to release its MainNet late Q1 which is right around the corner! Thank you for reading my very first article on Steemit. I hope I did a good job informing and educating those of you not yet familiar with NAS. I am not yet familiar with the platform and I am eager to hear your feedback. Again, I am not a financial advisor, just a crypto enthusiast who has made a bunch of money sitting in front of his computer! Thanks for the read, until next time. Cryptorayrv |
