body2. Song: “I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN.” By Deborah Marie Moreno/Hillman. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN, they were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. My dad was that last of 4 and treated like a girl, but he overcame his obstacles to grow and let his mother know he loved her so much and would always be with her despite the fact that she treated him like a girl and that’s a fact. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. My sister Sue would choke me ya know if she knew I was calling her Sue, but she’s in line now and can not be disturbed so here I go. God bless her in her travels and please hold me a spot in the line to heaven and beside her side is what I want. She put up with a lot on Earth and I hope God takes that into account, when he decides her fate to live her life throughout. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. Then there was Joe, my nephew two. He tried to do more, but did not know. He was such a wonderful kid, full of life, love and sin. He didn’t mean to do bad and a matter of fact he lead me to a pad. A pad where I met my best people here. I know He is guiding his son and taking a lead to prevent another one from going to heaven too soon. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. Tae Cruise was a baby who captivated our hearts. He took the old frowns of me and my friends and turned them upside down. He was so young and precious too, but his fate met him, too soon. His mother had a sickness that made her seek attention and the cost was a little sweet boy who has got to be through the gates of Heaven. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. Just when one thinks life can’t take anymore my loving nephew Tony will not see his children No More. He was carless you see, didn’t buckle his seatbelt and keep his nose clean. He did find God thankfully, so I know he is in line, patiently waiting for me to arrive. When I think of all my loved ones that have gone, I think the line to heaven must be long. Everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know. The day will be grand and full of joy, for me anyway, when I join the line to heaven. Try not to fret, I will save you a spot because the line to heaven is very long you see everyday more come in and everyday some leave, which way will they go? I can’t help but believe mine went to HEAVEN. They were the best one could know, grateful, kind and loving you know.

bodySee, Hear, Speak NOT To see like a blind person, then you might know a true person, not what your eyes tell you, but what your heart tells you. They can’t pretend to look a certain way with you. You will not be fooled For you see with your heart and soul so to see like a blind person is my advice to you. SO you may truly know others like God knows you. To hear like a deaf person, then you might know the peace within you. What’s in your head, your inner voice. Such quiet and peacefulness or is it chaos? Only you can know, but you don’t have to hear the lies and exaggerations of daily speech. You may long for it, but sometimes it is harsh and hurtful but hear like a deaf person so you may truly know yourself inside like God knows you Talk like a mute person, no evil comes forth. Can not tell you how much I love you or don’t. Can not tell you how happy you make me or sad. Can not speak poorly or kindly of others so you must show it with action. How hard to communicate without a voice or is it? A hug, a kiss, a smile or a shove, hit and scowl will say what you need or will it? Talk like a mute person so you may know how to show the feelings deep within that only your God shares with you. To pray like a child of God then you will surly know the Lord in all of his glory. The confidence to know you don’t have to see, hear or talk to feel GOD’s love. So pray like a child of GOD so you may reunite your soul with your creator and live in peach forever more.

bodyHe was 28 yrs old and was ejected from a car while out having fun with friends. Found out he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Really? He has kids, he tells them to put the seatbelt on. WT!!! Such a great spirit. In a different life he would have probably excelled. He had a great smile and kind eyes. He knew how to apologize, which is huge. I wished so much more for him. He donated all the organs he could and was cremated. Never to be seen on earth again. He left behind 3 beautiful kids. Wish he was doing something with them instead of being out partying that night. I pray for the children to have a more positive future than their dad. Still, LOVE HIM and will MISS HIM. Auntie.

I felt that you resented me for making the money I made before I got hurt and now I feel that you resent me because I don’t make any money. So, you pay the mortgage now, well I paid it the whole 7 years we were together prior to my injury (and since 2000), even when it took my last bit of savings to do so. And when you started to pay and it wasn’t because you volunteered, it was because I had to tell you to, after I took out credit card debt to keep up with it. You have never been forthright in contributing to our family, I’ve always had to tell you to participate. When we first married, you tried to get away with not paying anything, until I ended up telling you to pay the bills at least. You let me pay for our wedding and never attempted to pay for any of it, even when you had gotten some money, until I stayed on your ass about it and you finally gave me 1/8 of the cost of what I spent. You resented me for having to pay for some of Ethan’s birth, but my insurance paid for almost all of it, and I have paid for our family insurance ever since, even now, and you still bitch if you have a co-pay. You resented me for getting a tax refund, but again never had you even gotten a refund by your own admission, now you figured you are entitled, even though you know I had always gotten one. I had never had to pay in to taxes until you decided to change your contributions without telling me a few years ago and that ended in me paying $600.00 for it. If you think this is hard on you, try my shoes. I lost my career due to this injury. A career that I loved. And to top it off, nobody here in MS believed me, at least that is how it felt. To this day, I don’t think you or anybody in your family believes me, why? I’m not sure, probably because I suck it up and try to take part and still be there for them even when I am in pain, I endure. I never ended up on any prayer list at their church, we never received any financial help from anybody on your side of the family to help us with our bills, at least that I know of. Yes, dad gave you a loan to pay off the floors, but that was only a loan and was re-paid and I had already paid for the majority of the bill. The $50 we received from Mom and Dad for a Christmas present we spent on grocery, so that is sort of help, I guess. On the other hand, my family and friends have consistently helped me/us, financially, spiritually and mentally. They are the only reason I haven’t gone into financial default too bad or out of my mind through all of this. My mom, my uncle John, my aunt Ann, my aunt Gina, my cousins Pete and Paul, my sister Marilyn, my niece Heather, my friends Kim, Dawn, Katheryn, Dan, Sarah, Karen have all helped me pay for legal help, bills and/or food for our family, Dawna and Ann and even Dad and George before he died have been there for my soul and mental health and in trying to help with fixing this house. I think for the most part that these people know me, and love me and trust me and know that I loved my job and what I did for a living and they also know that I wouldn’t find it easy to give it all up. But you don’t seem to realize my loss at all. You try to say I have been taking everything out on you? Well that is BS and you know it. You are the one that misplaces things and blames me and when you find them you never apologize for being an ass. You spill things and get pissed off at me. I don’t know what you think I should be doing, but you should know that I do what I can, when I can and often pay the price for doing too much. I will admit there are times when I hurt bad and may be a little short with Ethan, but I try hard not to do that and if I did, I apologize to him which is more than I can say for you towards me. I don’t have anything else to offer you. Sorry you thought you were marrying for money and it didn’t work out for you. At least I gave you a beautiful son, which is more than any of you other wives did. I love him and I know you do to, so we have that in common, but little else apparently. I am tired of birthdays and holidays coming and going and nothing from you. You never think enough of me to even try to do something special for me. It is always a hindsight thing with you. So, for this Valentine’s day I give you an OUT. I think perhaps we need to split while we are still friends on some level so Ethan doesn’t have to deal with the ugliness that comes out of two people not liking to be around each other anymore. I ask that you and your family refrain from speaking ill of me and my family. I don’t like the obvious racism that is in your family and don’t care for Ethan to be exposed to hate. I wasn’t brought up to dislike people that are different from me, whether it be race, creed, color, sexual orientation, political differences or religion. If I find out that this is happening, I will definitely re-think any custody arrangements we have made, but I do want him to have opportunity to know and love both sides of his family. I expect for things to be asked of me, I don’t want his head shaved, his eyebrows trimmed or shaved or his feelings hurt from being called names like half-breed. We gave it 8 years. You are not the person I thought you were when we met and I obviously am not the gal you thought you were getting. I will leave the marriage with what I came with and you will do the same. I guess you will always be able to collect my social security, so that is something of a win for you. That’s my thought for this day 2/12/2018, I don’t know if I will give this to you are not yet. That will remain to be seen.

But you don’t seem to realize my loss at all.\n\nYou try to say I have been taking everything out on you? Well that is BS and you know it. You are the one that misplaces things and blames me and when you find them you never apologize for being an ass. You spill things and get pissed off at me. I don’t know what you think I should be doing, but you should know that I do what I can, when I can and often pay the price for doing too much. I will admit there are times when I hurt bad and may be a little short with Ethan, but I try hard not to do that and if I did, I apologize to him which is more than I can say for you towards me.\nI don’t have anything else to offer you. Sorry you thought you were marrying for money and it didn’t work out for you. At least I gave you a beautiful son, which is more than any of you other wives did. I love him and I know you do to, so we have that in common, but little else apparently. \n\nI am tired of birthdays and holidays coming and going and nothing from you. \n\nI ask that you and your family refrain from speaking ill of me and my family. I expect for things to be asked of me, I don’t want his head shaved, his eyebrows trimmed or shaved or his feelings hurt from being called names like half-breed.\n\nWe gave it 8 years. You are not the person I thought you were when we met and I obviously am not the gal you thought you were getting. I will leave the marriage with what I came with and you will do the same. I guess you will always be able to collect my social security, so that is something of a win for you. \n\nThat’s my thought for this day 2/12/2018, I don’t know if I will give this to you are not yet. That will remain to be seen.",

I THOUGHT I DID THE RIGHT THING, BUT INSTEAD LIFE HAS GIVEN ME TOTAL CRAP. I DON'T GET IT. I HAD TO APPLY FOR DISABILITY AS A RESULT. THE END TO A 21 YR CAREER. bodyRobert, Your mom asked me if I would write you something about my perspective on how you turned out the way you have so far in your life. I wish I could say that it is for one reason or another specifically, but I cannot. I can only speculate on what contributes to one’s destiny. I do know this “it is the people you meet and your observation of those people and the choices you make that mold you as a person over time.” Yes, you were a premature child with many disadvantages from the beginning, your need to be on prolonged oxygen and have feeding tubes was a lot for a little guy to handle, but many premature children grow up to be wonderful and successful adults, like your aunt Susan. Yes, you had a father that has never accepted any responsibility for anything in his life. He is a horrible example of a man, a parent, an adult and a human in general. You always thought your dad was “so cool” with all his big talk of being a gangster, and strong-arming people (your dad said once that his dad was like that too, and he hated him for it). That is a strong genetic component that likely contributed to the you that you are today. A lot of kids look up to their parents growing up, but you failed to realize how hard your mom worked to try to give you kids a normal life and how your father sabotaged those efforts and treated your mother horribly (hitting, cheating on and neglecting your wife like she doesn’t matter is not acceptable behavior) and how he really let you kids suffer because he couldn’t grow up. His irresponsibility in taking care of his family and rising to the task of growing up and being a responsible adult impacted you kids just as your life choices have affected your own kids. That is a tradition you should want not to pass down to your own kids. It is a poor choice and again I say it comes down to your choice. Your own children may have an opinion of you at this point in their lives as well, but whatever that opinion, you still have time to make it better. Yes, you had parents that divorced when you were a child, but again there are plenty of people that have experienced this in childhood that didn’t make the choices you did. Your mother and I come from parents that divorced, we didn’t choose to go the route you did in life. Again choice. Yes, you experienced abuse (mental, physical) as a child at the hands of some adults in your life and maybe some kids as well. Your step-dad Danny again was a horrible example of a man, a step-parent, adult and a human. He will have to a tone to a higher power some day for the way he treated you kids, but that is not for us to judge. I didn’t know of this experience until your brother Joseph told me about the nightmare Danny put you kid through, especially you, when he came to live with me years after you did. I know that this man thought it was alright to hurt you kids and he was so wrong. I only wish one of you would have let me know when you were going through all of this so I could have helped you kids, but that is in the past and you kids didn’t for fear or whatever. But know that your own kids may be experiencing something similar and you are not being there for them now. You were provided opportunity in your younger years to see and be in a more normal and positive environment. You were not interested in it at that time. I remember you excelling in your school grades while you lived here with me as a young teenager. I know it was because we took the time to study and try to learn and you proved not only to me, but to yourself I hoped, that you could learn, and retain information to make some really good grades. That you had a lot of potential. I hoped this would help you see that you can do anything you put your mind to and really want, but again, you choose to sabotage the situation and lie and that caused a huge problem for many years between me and your mother. I tried to help you and you head butted me in the face and called me a “punta” and tried to spit in my face. You left with your dad and left us with a horrible situation. I can’t help but think if you would have stuck it out with me, you would have had a whole different more positive path in your life, but who knows? Maybe not. Again, it came down to your choice to do what you did. All we (me, your mom and Chris) wanted to do was help you and you choose to mess that up. ********************************************************************************** An internet search will take you to several theories. Here is one that explains some of the theories about that question. Nature vs. Nurture Debate The nature vs. nurture debate is the scientific, cultural, and philosophical debate about whether human culture, behavior, and personality are caused primarily by nature or nurture. Nature is often defined in this debate as genetic or hormone-based behaviors, while nurture is most commonly defined as environment and experience. History of the Nature vs. Nurture Debate The nature vs. nurture debate is an ongoing one. The modern debate often centers around the effect genes have on human personalities as opposed to the influences that early environment and development might have. As cultural mores have changed, so have popular understandings of this debate. In the 1960s, for example, psychologists—and pop culture in general—were heavily influenced by the theories of behaviorism. This theory led to the widespread belief that human personality is primarily influenced by experience and training. It was during this time that researcher John Money attempted to demonstrate that gender was a product of early conditioning by raising a boy, whose circumcision was botched, as a girl. His experiment seemed successful in the beginning but ultimately was a failure. Find a Therapist Advanced Search In recent years, the nature side of the debate has gained more attention, with headlines trumpeting newly discovered genes for virtually every behavior. Evolutionary psychology and sociobiology are two branches of science that attempt to demonstrate the evolutionary roots of human behavior. Books authored by scientists in these fields are extremely popular. However, critics still emphasize the important role of early childhood environment, development, and cultural influences, and many have argued that sociobiology and evolutionary psychology are deterministic pseudosciences. How Nature Affects Mental Health While nature, or genetics, has been proven to be an important factor in the development of some mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, bipolar, and major depression, the development of mental illness is not entirely genetic. Nature, or genetics, has been proven to be an important factor in the development of some mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, bipolar, and major depression: Bipolar, for example, is four to six times more likely to develop when there is a family history of the condition. However, although the importance of genetic factors cannot be denied, the development of mental illness is not entirely genetic. Take identical twins, for example: They share genes, yet if one twin develops schizophrenia, the other twin only has a 50% chance of also developing the condition. This shows that nature, while it plays an important part, is not the only contributing factor. Another area where researchers may place more emphasis on nature than on nurture is that of addictions. Studies show that alcohol addiction, for example, can recur in families and that certain genes may have an influence over the way alcohol tastes and the way it affects the body. How Nurture Affects Mental Health Certain genetic factors may create a predisposition for a particular illness, but the probability that a person develops that illness depends in part on environment (nurture). When a genetic variant indicates the possibility of development of a mental illness, this information can be used to direct positive (nurturing) behavior in such a way that the condition may not develop or may develop with less severity. James Fallon, a neuroscientist who discovered that he had the brain of a psychopath, has stated that he believes growing up in a nurturing and loving environment helped him to become a successful adult and may have been effective at preventing him from fully developing traits of psychopathy. Similarly, the basis for addiction is not thought to be entirely genetic by most researchers. Environmental aspects, such as the habits of parents, friends, or a partner, might also be significant factors contributing to the development of an addiction. A genetic predisposition to alcohol addiction may be far more significant if one is routinely exposed to binge drinking or other forms of alcohol abuse and comes to view this as normal alcohol use. Researchers at the University of Liverpool recently found that while a family history of mental health conditions was the second strongest predictor of mental illness, the strongest predictor was in fact life events and experiences, such as childhood bullying, abuse, or other trauma, supporting the idea of nurture’s significant role in the development of mental health issues. Twin Studies Several studies done on twins separated shortly after birth reveal that genetics do play a significant role in the development of certain personality characteristics, sexual orientation, and religiosity. The bond between identical twins was also suggested to be genetic by these studies, as 80% of identical twins reported that they felt closer to their twin than they did to their closest friends, despite having just met their twin. One study also suggested that genetics play a significant role in the development of personality: Environment had little effect on personality when twins were raised together, though it did have an effect when they were raised apart. Nature x Nurture Many scientists eschew the debate by emphasizing “nature x nurture.” In this schema, nature and nurture are inseparable. Some genes, for example, cannot be activated without certain environmental inputs. The development of vision is a prime example of this. People cannot develop normal sight without exposure to visual stimuli. Similarly, some environmental inputs may be undermined by some genes. For example, some lifelong smokers may never experience smoking-related illnesses, and this may be due at least in part to their genes. Environmental toxins may alter the expression of some genes, and genes for many behaviors presumed to have a genetic basis have not been discovered. Developmental systems theory, among other theories, presents an alternative to this debate that does not require scientists to advocate either for nature or nurture. References: 1. Agin, D. P. Last Updated: 08-12-2015 ************************************************************************************* So, you can see, this debate has been ongoing for a long time. You may be able to look up some of these references to help you understand further, if you really want to know, do your homework and research it. Maybe you will find your thing is psychology, genealogy, or theory. I do know the little boy that came to spend a summer with me as a child is not the same child that lied to his family about me as a teenager and the adult you see in the mirror today. I hope you find what you are looking for and equally important I hope you realize how your behavior and choices have affected your own family and children so you can make a choice to leave them with a better opportunity for a better destiny. You are still young and have time to make a difference in your life. One foot in front of the other in the right direction, that is what it takes. There is no “easy” path, just choose the good one. How will you know? Because it takes real work and dedication to want to be a better person. Look in your kids faces and make the most important promise to do better, then do it. I love you, Aunt Debbie.

You may be able to look up some of these references to help you understand further, if you really want to know, do your homework and research it. Maybe you will find your thing is psychology, genealogy, or theory.\n\nI do know the little boy that came to spend a summer with me as a child is not the same child that lied to his family about me as a teenager and the adult you see in the mirror today. \n\nI love you, \n\nAunt Debbie.",
