| body | Do you know that there are thousands of people who are victims of racism in web3? « Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn’t matter which color does the hating. It’s just plain wrong » - Muhammad Ali Oh yes! I am one of them. How was i a victim? Let me explain. Now I was once a community manager for a web3 NFT project called RyokoNFt. It's actually the best project I have worked for over the years, they not quite popular but as the community/collab manager, it's the first project I worked for that sold out its collection. While managing the community, I experienced racism. It was really bad but as a community manager I had to make sure I didn't act irrational. What really happened? I was trying to pass a message to the community via discord AMA and for the first time, I disclosed my identity has a Nigerian and suddenly some of the community members left the session. I approached one of the community members who was a Russian lady and I asked why she left and she said “I don't like Nigerains”. It is important to recognize that racism, discrimination, and prejudice have no place in any community, including web3. Racism is a serious issue that has plagued society for centuries. It is the belief that certain races are superior to others, and it manifests itself in many different ways, including discrimination, harassment, and prejudice. Racism is harmful not only to the individuals who experience it but also to society as a whole. Web3 is a relatively new space that is still in its infancy, but it is rapidly growing and evolving. It is essential that we address the issue of racism early on to ensure that it does not become a pervasive problem in this space. Here are five solutions to help curb racism in web3: Education: Education is key to understanding and addressing racism. Web3 communities can organize workshops, seminars, and other educational events to promote awareness and understanding of racism. Community Standards Web3 communities can establish clear community standards that explicitly prohibit racism, discrimination, and prejudice. These standards should be enforced consistently and fairly. Diversity and Inclusion Web3 communities can actively promote diversity and inclusion by encouraging the participation of people from different backgrounds and cultures. This can be achieved through targeted outreach and recruitment efforts. Accountability Web3 communities can hold individuals and groups accountable for acts of racism and discrimination. This can be done through community-led initiatives, such as reporting systems, and community-led investigations. Communication Open and honest communication is essential in addressing racism. Web3 communities can create safe spaces for people to discuss and share their experiences with racism. This can help promote understanding and empathy and lead to meaningful action. Final words Racism has no place in web3, just as it has no place in any other aspect of society. It is up to all of us to work together to ensure that our communities are safe, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone. By promoting education, community standards, diversity and inclusion, accountability, and communication, we can create a web3 community that is free from racism and discrimination. •Together we stand, divided we fall. Let love lead• |

| body | Do you know that even Michael Jackson was exploited? Music is known to be a source of comfort, inspiration, and entertainment for humanity. However, the relationship between music and the music industry has always been fraught with controversy. The music industry, especially record labels, has a history of exploiting artists and robbing them of their rightful income. In this article, we will examine the relationship between music and web3, and how this new technology can offer a better future for musicians. To begin with, let's take a look at the current state of the music industry. According to a report by Citigroup, record labels take a whopping 88% of the revenue generated from recorded music sales. This means that for every dollar earned by an artist, they only receive 12 cents. This is a staggering amount, considering that artists are the ones who create the music, and without them, there would be no music industry. Now that’s how Michael Jackson was exploited! This exploitation of artists has been going on for decades, and it's time for a change. Enter web3. Web3 is the next evolution of the internet, and it promises to be a game-changer for the music industry. Here are five reasons why musicians have a better future in web3: Decentralisation Web3 is decentralised, meaning that there is no central authority controlling the platform. This means that artists have more control over their music and their revenue. They can distribute their music directly to their fans, without the need for a middleman. Yeah that’s right, the likes of Spotify, Apple Music and audio Mack would no longer be able to steal your funds. Smart Contracts Smart contracts are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement between buyer and seller being directly written into lines of code. This means that artists can set their own terms and conditions for the use of their music, and they can be assured that they will receive their rightful income. Isn’t this wonderful? Record labels like Warner music group, universal music group, Sony music entertainment and Atlantic records will no longer treat musicians like puppets, trust me web3 is the only way out for every musician out there. Transparency Web3 offers complete transparency, meaning that all transactions can be tracked on the blockchain. This makes it easier for artists to track their revenue and ensure that they are getting paid what they deserve. Fan Engagement Web3 offers new ways for artists to engage with their fans. They can create their own tokens, which fans can buy and use to access exclusive content, merchandise, and experiences. This creates a new revenue stream for artists and a deeper connection with their fans. Innovation Web3 is still in its early stages, which means that there is a lot of room for innovation. This creates exciting new opportunities for musicians to experiment with new business models, revenue streams, and ways of creating and distributing their music. Bottom line it's clear that the relationship between music and web3 has the potential to be a game-changer for the music industry. With decentralisation, smart contracts, transparency, fan engagement, and innovation, musicians have a brighter future ahead. It's time for artists to take control of their music and their revenue. The music industry has been exploiting artists for far too long, and it's time for a change. Join the web3 music industry today, and take the first step towards a brighter future for musicians everywhere. |

| body | The high budget promotion is not a bad idea, truth of the matter is, it doesn’t always work. I have worked with 100s of NFT project and 90% of these project fail. They fail not beacause of a low budget, even if a low budget sometimes can also be a disaster, most of them failed after having spent thousand of dollars to promote their projects. At the end no sales, no community, ultimately a total loss. Does it have to continue this way? No! In this article, I will be discussing 10 solid solutions for how to promote an NFT project with a low budget. In the fast-paced world of NFTs, promoting your project effectively can make or break your success. Unfortunately, not everyone has the budget to invest in expensive marketing campaigns. So what can you do if you don’t have enough budget to promote your NFT project? First, it's essential to recognize that even high-budget projects can fail to succeed in the market. This is because simply throwing money at a problem doesn't always guarantee success. Many high-budget projects fail because they don't understand their target audience or don't know how to communicate effectively with them. On the other hand, some low budget projects succeed because they focus on building strong relationships with their community and take a creative and strategic approach to their marketing efforts. They leverage cost-effective channels and create compelling content that resonates with their target audience. If you're facing a low budget for promoting your NFT project, here are ten solutions that you can consider: Build a strong community: Don’t you mess around with the potential of a strong and supportive community. Focus on building a loyal and engaged community through social media platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. Engage with your audience regularly, and build personal connections with them. Why is this so? This is because through regular engagements, founders create a bond with community members and with that bond build trust and when trust exist between them, the project succeeds. Use NFT marketplaces: Participate in NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Rarible, and SuperRare. These platforms can help you reach a broader audience, and the fees charged for listing and selling are relatively low. Collaborate with other NFT creators: Collaboration is so important, Partnering with other NFT creators can help you cross-promote your work and reach a wider audience. Ps: Remember to always collaborate with like minded projects Leverage existing networks: If you have existing networks, such as friends, family, or business connections, don't be afraid to tap into them to help spread the word about your project. Now some of you don’t have existing networks, which is really bad. To succeed in any field or profession do not take networks or connections for granted. Keep close contact even when deals have been finalized. So in times like this, connections would help you spread the word. Host giveaways and contests: Hosting giveaways and contests can help increase engagement and generate buzz around your project. Oh yes it does, when members of the public hear about how much giveaways members in your community win on a daily basis, they might as well want to stop by. Utilize influencer marketing: Partnering with influencers in the NFT community can be a powerful way to reach a larger audience. You should try to get I touch with influencers like OhhShiny, RealMissNFT, Farokh, DeezeFi and Artchick. Collaborating people like them, shows you stand a chance and your effective promotion is secured. Create compelling content: Create high-quality and engaging content, such as videos, blog posts, and social media posts, that resonate with your target audience. What you feed your audience is very important, it’s the way members of the public will view your project. Attend virtual events: Attend virtual events in the NFT space, such as conferences and webinars, to connect with potential buyers and other creators. Utilize paid advertising: Consider using paid advertising, such as Google ads or social media ads, to reach a broader audience. Start with a small budget and track your results to ensure that you're getting a good return on investment. Hire a skilled partnership manager: Consider hiring a skilled partnership manager who can help you develop and execute an effective marketing strategy, even on a limited budget. As a founder, you should stop influencing 99% of your partnership managers choices, you employed them because you believe they are capable. Now let them prove they capable! conclusion promoting an NFT project on a low budget is challenging but not impossible. By taking a strategic and creative approach to marketing, building a strong community, leveraging existing networks, and partnering with other creators, you can successfully promote your project and reach a broader audience. Remember that while a large budget can help, it's not the only factor in achieving success in the NFT market. |

| body | Partnership can be easy if you know the fundamentals “Alliances and partnerships produce stability when they reflect realities and interests” -stephen kinzer Web3 partnerships are becoming increasingly popular as more and more companies are realising the potential of decentralised technologies. But how do you ensure that your Web3 partnership is successful? Here are four proven ways to succeed at Web3 partnerships: 1) Build a Strong Foundation The first step to succeeding at Web3 partnerships is to build a strong foundation. This means understanding your partner’s needs and goals, as well as your own. It’s important to have a clear understanding of what you both bring to the table and how you can complement each other’s strengths. Communication is key, so make sure you establish open lines of communication from the start. 2) Collaborate Effectively Once you have established a strong foundation, the next step is to collaborate effectively. This means setting clear goals and expectations, and working together to achieve them. It’s important to be flexible and adaptable, as the Web3 landscape is constantly evolving. Make sure you are willing to pivot if necessary, and don’t be afraid to take calculated risks. 3) Embrace Creativity To truly succeed at Web3 partnerships, it’s important to embrace creativity. This clearly means thinking outside the box and exploring new ideas and approaches. Do not be afraid to experiment and try new things, and be willing to learn from your mistakes. Remember that Web3 is still in its infancy, and there are many opportunities for innovation and growth. 4) Collaborate with like minded Projects This is really essential, because to succeed as a gaming project you need to collaborate with gaming communities. When I see some communities make this mistakes, it makes me furious. “I mean you never go to a store where shoes are sold, to buy food” Bottom line is this, whatever community you wish to build, from gaming, fashion, alpha dao etc. It’s a necessity that you partner with those who are of the same interests and goals. ………… Take Away In conclusion, the key to succeeding at Web3 partnerships is to build a strong foundation, collaborate effectively, embrace creativity and collaborating with like minded projects. By following these four principles, you can create a partnership that is both successful and sustainable. The connection between two or more web3 projects, would determine its unity and growth. “Together we stand, divided we fall” I urge you all to apply this methods, if you wish to scale higher in web3. |
