I arrived here from Instagram, and just like on IG at first, it looks like I have a lot of learning to do!\n\nI made my recent posts from SteepShot (the Instagram-like version of SteemIt). As it's a lot like IG, it's more like.. micro-blogging oriented, and it limits the size of my posts. Am I correct to assume(after reading your post) that this is not playing in my favor??\n\nAlso.. the application itself is not working at all at this moment..(no clue if its temporary, of if the app was just abandoned) I cannot even see my own posts there, but they show up here on SteemIt.. I cannot find anything pertinent about this, or even mildly recent.. You would not happen to know a little about SteepShot as well, would you?? \n\nI'm considering giving up on SteepShot.. but ain't sure if I want to jump in SteemIt as I prefer sharing pics and thoughts/events than actual long blog articles..  But if small posts will never cut it on SteemIt, and won't even appear on SteepShot.. I don't know why I'm doing it then.. I'm a bit disappointed in the whole thing.. I'm desperate for guidance (as Google won't help me..)\n\nHope reading me won't take too much of your time.\n\nCheers.",

(Dec. 16th 2018)\n\nTurned out pretty well so far, as it started rising the very day after our discussion and as been going up ever since.\n\nThere are a few reasons why I believed this coin was set to rise:\n-They have an ongoing coinburn system, decreasing the total supply of the coin multiple times a year.\n-They are planning of splitting BNB from the Ethereum BlockChain. Having their own BlockChain will allow them to list other coins under BNB, giving it increased volume for each one of them. Binance, being such a well known and used exchange, will be very well positioned to attract potential tokens, as long as their upcoming BlockChain can handle it.\n-They are planning on launching their own DEX (like a decentralized version of themselves). This will just make them an even bigger company with more resources, and attract even more investors who might have stayed away as there was no decentralized options while using them so far. BNB will be at the center of most trading pairs on both exchanges.\n\nSo all in all, the supply is slowly going down, while the potential use cases are rapidly going up, increasing it's demand.\n\nThis morning they announced that the Binance Chain and the Binance Dex have now entered the public testnet phase. This might be a short time catalyst to drive the price higher, because it's another step closer to their end game: Mass Adoption and Usage of the BNB Coin (and of course the price will inflate proportionally).\n\n*Note that here I'm writing about legit increase of value and therefor price. I write this in complete disregard of any market condition (Bear/Bull Run), as this is not on what I relay on for profits.\n\nSo anyway, this is not financial advice. Something made a clear difference in their lives. I will explain, in 4 points, how taking responsibility makes a crucial difference.\n\n1-Cultural Mindset:\nPeople want to protect their ego at all cost. When something isn't working out, they often blame it on anything but themselves. That gives them excuses for their failures and leads to acceptance of never getting what they want. They will also lower their standards and personal value based on this. 'This guy is always late, so it's OK if I'm late too sometimes. It's just fair.'\n\n2-Why It's Inappropriate:\nWhat people fail to realize, is that INACTION IS A CHOICE! Let's say you can act and change something for the better but decide to do nothing about it. IT'S NOW YOUR FAULT if it hasn't changed, based on your choice for inaction. In other words: If you could act, the outcome IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Also, lowering your personal value based on other people's failures sets you for the same results.. Failure.\n\n3-Applicable Principles:\nLeadership principles teach to TAKE OWNERSHIP and make it your responsibility(because it probably is). It teaches to TAKE ACTION. Once you stop the self-sabotage of your life and blaming it on others, you can redirect your focus on the impact and results you can generate. Here lies the meaning of 'Be the change that you seek.' Also keep in mind WHO you want to be and WHY. Prioritize being a valuable individual instead of comparing yourself with others.\n\n4-Result:\nOnce you change this about your mindset, you slowly realize that things don't happen to you. THINGS HAPPEN FROM YOU. You learn to let go of what other people do(which you can't control) and focus on what you can do(which is what you control). That's how you start shaping your life yourself. It's like discovering you have a superpower! And by NEVER lowering your standards or personal value, you can only improve. On average, each person can give 10 full upvotes per day, because it's also how much upvotes recharge daily. People have to pick between many posts to decide what they're going to upvote, often choosing something they like but also taking profits into consideration. If someone doesn't upvote you, they could be waiting for their voting to recharge.\n\n- **Your free account started with a borrowed 15 Steem Power**. As you earn from your posts and comments, that will be taken away until you're standing on your own feet in the platform.\n\n- **Remember to both give and take.** If people only want to take away from the platform, the STEEM coin will eventually be worth nothing, because then everyone wants to sell while noone would be willing to buy.\n\n- **If you run into posting limitations, that means you need more Steem Power.** It's like a \"bandwidth\". The more you hold, the more you can do. It recharges, but slowly if you don't have much SP.\n\n- **Steem Power can be bought, but it can also be delegated** (borrowed/lent) using a steemit command.
