      "body": "Introduction \n\nHuman beings have made an effort to overcome their limitations in a ceaseless pursuit of self-betterment. They have lifted themselves from creatures that once struggled for survival, into evolved intellectual beings with a consciousness and free will. With these very skills, they can ponder a direction of their own choosing. \nHumans have mastered the ability to control the self. This understanding has improved their physical and mental capabilities. Likewise, the will towards self-betterment has served the foundation of transhumanism. Examples of humanity pursuing transhumanism throughout human history can be easily found. \nShennong in ancient China studied the effects of various plants and herbs by testing them himself, and his experiences became the bases of agriculture and medicine. Emperor Qin Shi Huang who first united the Chinese continent searched worldwide for the herb of immortality. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, the protagonist Gilgamesh also sought immortality. \nChina’s Taoism and India’s yogic tradition can also be considered examples of transhumanism. Both pursue transcendence and spirituality through body and mind practices. Buddhism similarly places importance on awakening from the pains of human life. Following the same pattern, alchemy in the Middle East and the European pursuit of an elixir have a basis in transhumanism.\nIn modern times, human life has been changing with the development of science and technology, and with these changes, the potential for human beings to develop themselves is higher than ever. That is, it is getting easier to prolong our life spans and improve our physical and mental capacities, ultimately, to reach a higher level of consciousness. Raymond \"Ray\" Kurzweil from Google, Dave Asprey from Bullet Proof Coffee, and Vishen Lakhiani from Mind Valley, are widely known for making such efforts. They sometimes make drastic biological efforts such as combining human bodies with machines. \n\n2. Concepts of Holistic Transhumanism \nHumans are whole beings, bigger than the sum of their own parts. They are intrinsically integrated and intact. A simple summation of cells and organs does not accurately express what a human being is. It takes the power of an emergence as whole beings. Transhumanism should be based on an understanding and acceptance of humans’ wholeness, which is preceded by a deep understanding of the body, mind and spirit.   \nHolistic transhumanism, therefore, aims to understand humans as whole beings and to improve and develop this form. It dismisses intentionally mechanized bodies, since it gives a priority to the intactness of the human body. \nHolistic transhumanism, above all, focuses on the improvement and development of human individuals. The principle, however, is not to discourage or harm other individuals’ improvement and development in their own pursuit. \nAs individuals get together and form groups, the improved and developed individuals will lead to greater groups. This process will facilitate a rise in humankind’s conscious. This will lead to positive changes in group phenomena in such areas as industry, society, culture, economy and politics. And again, such changes will create a virtuous cycle, which will bring improvement and development to human individuals. \n\n3. Four Aspects of Human Individuals \nDifferent human aspects can largely be divided into four categories. These aspects are interrelated with each other organically in the human body’s physical, chemical and electrical systems. \nMaterials – Human bodies are made up of materials. Humans consume and use the materials that constitute their body. These materials serve the human body, not only with their constituting bodies, but also with their functions of keeping homeostasis.  \nEnergy – Human bodies are also made up of energy. Human bodies change materials into energy metabolically. Energy also exists in the form of waves, such as heat and in electromagnetic fields. \nMovements – Human bodies are a tensile integration, where many different tensions are integrated. These continuously working tensions maintain forms and build stability and mobility. \nAppearance – Human appearances reflect their inner state. They also serve as a medium through which an individual communicates with the outer world.  \n\n4. What I am going to do \nI have always pursued the whole healing of human beings into better states, while going through various medical approaches and body/mind practice methods. At the same time, I have felt a structural problem with the way human beings become aware of the development of the self. \nThe first problem lies with the mechanical perspective towards the human body. In which a human body is the sum of its parts. They do not accept and perceive an individual as a whole being; instead, they perceive one by dividing it into several areas. It is their perspective of the human body that has become fragmented and divided. \nThe second problem can be found in the exclusive medical system. Modern medical systems are controlled by hierarchical academics, capitals that regard human bodies as products on the market, and the government agencies that try to protect stakeholders with systems and regulations.\nTherefore, I would like to suggest an alternative. By integrating bio-data and bio-data based business  through decentralized platforms, we can collect various bio-data and integrate it through new data that will go beyond existing clinical experimental systems. While existing experiments allow fragmentary and linear verifications, the new ones will provide us with an organic and stereoscopic approach to human bodies. Hopefully, it will lead to integrated healing and integrated disciplines. \nDecentralized platforms will present effective and valuable methods, though they are not included in the existing exclusive medical systems. The methods, in turn, will be verified and developed further. And then, the mechanism working behind the methods will emerge through the integrated principles. \nThis is how decentralized platforms will revolutionize the way human beings deal with human bodies. \n\n5. Holos and Holistic Transhumanism \nI started HOLOS Project in the hope of human beings being reborn into complete beings. HOLOS refers to ‘completeness’ in Latin. This project is starting to make holistic transhumanism ideas a reality. \nI hope you join the HOLOS Project with me.",

      "body": "1.서론\n\n 인류는 스스로의 한계를 극복하고 더 나은 존재가 되기 위한 노력을 거듭해왔다. 인류는 단순히 생존을 위해 적응하는 존재를 넘어서서, 스스로가 나아갈 방향을 고민하고 선택할 수 있는 의식과 자유의지를 가진 지성체로 발달했다.  \n\n 인간은 스스로의 존재를 인식하고 통제하는 방법을 터득하였고, 이를 통해 육체적 혹은 정신적 상태와 능력을 개선하고 증진시켜왔다. 이처럼 스스로의 존재를 보다 낫게 하려는 의지는 트랜스휴머니즘의 바탕이 된다. 우리는 역사 속에서 인류가 트랜스휴머니즘을 추구해온 사례를 찾아볼 수 있다.\n\n 고대 중국의 신농씨는 온갖 식물과 약초를 직접 먹어보면서 어떤 작용을 하는지 탐구했으며, 그의 경험은 농업과 의학의 기반이 되었다. 중국을 최초로 통일한 진시황은 영생불사를 추구하면서 불로초를 찾았다. 영생을 얻고 싶어 했던 길가메시 서사시의 주인공도 비슷한 사례이다.\n\n 심신수련을 통해 초월성과 영성을 추구하는 중국의 도가, 인도의 요가도 트랜스휴머니즘을 추구하는 사례로 볼 수 있으며, 깨달음을 통해 인간세계의 고통으로부터 벗어나려는 불가와 물질의 제련을 통해 영약(Elixir)을 얻고자 했던 유럽과 중동의 연금술도 그 궤를 같이 한다고 볼 수 있다.\n\n 현대에 이르러서는 과학과 기술이 발전하면서 가시적으로 인류의 삶이 바뀌고 있으며, 과학과 기술의 도움으로 인류가 스스로를 발전시킬 수 있는 가능성이 훨씬 커지고 있다. 생명을 연장하고 신체 및 지적 능력을 증진하며 더 높은 의식 수준에 이르는 것이 보다 쉬워지고 있다. 구글의 레이 커즈와일, 불렛프루프커피의 데이브 애스프리, 마인드밸리의 비셴 라키아니 등이 이런 시도를 하는 것으로 널리 알려져 있다. 때로는 신체를 기계와 결합하거나 과감한 생물학적 시도를 하기도 한다. \n\n2.전인적 초인류주의의 개념\n\n 인간은 인간을 이루는 여러 부분들의 합 이상의 전인적 존재이다. 인간은 그 자체로 통합적이며 온전하다. 세포를 모으고, 장기를 조합한다고 해서 인간이 되지는 않는다. 온전한 존재로서 창발성을 갖추어야 한다. 트랜스휴머니즘은 인간의 온전함을 이해하고 받아들이면서 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해서는 육체, 정신, 영성을 통합적으로 이해할 필요가 있다. \n\n 온전한 존재로서의 인간을 이해하고, 인간 존재를 통합적으로 개선하고 발전시키는 것이 전인적 초인류주의(Holistic Transhumanism, 홀리스틱 트랜스휴머니즘)가 추구하는 바이다. 인체의 온전함을 우선적으로 여기기 때문에, 의도적인 신체의 기계화는 지양한다.\n\n 전인적 초인류주의는 인간 개체의 개선과 발전에 우선적으로 초점을 맞춘다. 그리고 그 과정에서 다른 인간 개체의 개선과 발전에 저해가 되지 않는 것을 원칙으로 한다. \n\n 개체가 모여서 집단을 이루며, 개체의 개선과 발전은 집단의 개선과 발전으로 이어진다. 이는 인류의 의식 수준 상승과 더불어 산업, 사회, 문화, 경제, 정치 등 집단 현상의 보다 나은 변화를 유도할 것이다. 이러한 변화는 다시 인간 개체의 개선과 발전을 촉진하는 선순환을 일으킬 것이다.\n\n3.인간 개체의 4가지 양상\n 인간 개체의 양상을 크게 4가지로 나누어 생각할 수 있다. 이 양상들은 인체에서 물리적, 화학적, 전기적 체계 등으로 서로 유기적으로 연결되어 있다. \n물질 - 인체는 물질로 구성되어 있다. 인간은 인체를 이루는 물질을 섭취하고 활용한다. 이 물질들은 인체의 구조를 이루면서 인체 내부의 항상성을 유지하는 기능을 수행한다. \n에너지 - 인체는 에너지로 구성되어 있기도 하다. 인체를 대사 기능을 통해 물질을 에너지로 전환하여 사용한다. 에너지는 열과 전자기장을 비롯한 파동의 형태로도 존재한다. \n움직임 - 인체는 여러 가지 장력이 통합되어 있는 긴장 통합체이다. 종합적으로 지속되는 장력에 의해 형태가 유지되고 안정성과 운동성을 절충한다.\n외형 - 인체의 외형은 내적 상태를 반영하고 드러낸다. 아울러 그 개체가 외부와 소통하는 매개가 된다. \n\n4.나는 무엇을 할 것인가\n 나는 그동안 다양한 의학과 여러 심신수련체계 등을 접하면서 인간의 온전한 치유와 더 나은 상태로의 발전을 추구해왔다. 그러면서 현 시대에서 인간이 스스로를 인식하고 개발하는 방식에 구조적인 문제가 있다고 느꼈다. \n 첫번째 문제는 인체를 부분의 조합으로 인식하는 기계론적 인체관이다. 한 개체를 온전하게 받아들이고 인식하는 것이 아니라, 편의에 의해 여러 영역으로 나눠서 인식하면서 인체에 대한 관점은 분절되고 파편화되어 왔다. \n 두번째 문제는 독점적이고 배타적인 의료체계이다. 현대의료는 위계 중심의 상아탑, 인체를 시장으로만 여기는 자본 그리고 그들을 제도와 규제로 보호하는 정부조직에 의해 운영되고 있다. \n\n 이에 나는 탈중앙화된 플랫폼을 통한 생체데이터의 통합과 생태계로 대안을 제시하고자 한다.\n다양한 생체데이터를 수집하고 통합하게 되면, 기존의 임상실험 체계를 뛰어넘는 데이터를 얻을 수 있게 될 것이다. 기존의 임상실험에서는 단편적이고 선형적인 검증만 할 수 있었다면, 유기적이고 입체적으로 인체에 대해서 파악할 수 있게 될 것이다. 이는 더 나아가 치유의 통합과 학문의 통합으로 이어질 것이다. \n 탈중앙화된 플랫폼의 생태계를 통해서 기존의 독점적이고 배타적인 의료체계에 포함되지 않았지만, 효용과 가치가 있는 방법들이 소개될 것이다. 그 방법들은 생체데이터를 통해서 검증되고 발전될 것이다. 그리고 통합된 원리를 통해 그 방법들의 메카니즘이 밝혀질 것이다. \n 이 탈중앙화된 플랫폼은 인간이 인체를 대하는 방식을 혁신할 것이다. \n\n5.RICCO HOLOS와 전인적 초인류주의\n 나는 인간이 보다 풍요롭고 완전한 존재로 거듭나기를 바라는 마음에서 RICCO HOLOS프로젝트를 시작했다.       "body": "인간의 몸은 하나이지만, 그것을 보는 관점은 다양하다.\n기계론적 관점을 바탕으로 하는 현대의학, 여러 문화권의 전통의학, 동종요법 및 카이로프랙틱 등 보완대체요법, 영양학, 뇌과학, 에너지의학 및 양자의학 등 새로운 관점의 의학 등 인체에 대한 학문과 관점은 다양하고 파편화되어 있다. \n\n 나의 개인적인 미션은 이러한 다양한 관점과 학문을 통합하는 것이다.\n인간의 몸과 마음에 대해 온전히 이해할 수 있는 통합된 관점을 구축하고자 그동안 개인적으로 많은 노력을 해왔다. 그 과정에 대해서는 지난 번 포스팅에 언급이 되어 있다.(https://steemit.com/holistic/@drholos/ricco-holos)\n\n 다양한 의학을 통합하기 위한 현실적인 방법으로 내가 생각하는 첫번째 단계는 생체데이터의 수집이다.\n다양한 생체데이터가 있을 수 있겠지만, 현재 내가 좀 더 주목하는 것은 기능의학적 검사 데이터와 microRNA이다.\n\n 기능의학적 검사는 기존의 의학적 검사에 비해 정밀하면서도, 전체적인 몸 상태를 유기적으로 반영한다는 장점이 있다. 그리고 일부 기능의학적 검사는 피를 뽑지 않고도 이루어질 수 있기 때문에, 병원을 방문하지 않아도 된다는 장점이 있다. 모발 미네랄 검사, 소변 유기산 검사, 장내 미생물 검사 등이 이에 해당된다. 굳이 병원을 방문하지 않고 검체를 배송해서 데이터를 얻을 수 있다는 편리성이 있고, 식이요법이나 환경의 영향도 파악할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. \n모발 미네랄 검사를 하면 체내에 축적된 원소와 중금속을 알 수 있는데, 데이터가 많이 쌓이다보면 지역마다 환경에 의한 영향도 알 수가 있다. 내 경험에 따르면 일부 지역 주민들에게서는 우라늄이 많이 나온다. 그 지역은 방사능에 의한 오염이 있을 것이라 추측할 수 있다. \n\n DNA가 인체의 설계도라면, RNA는 그것을 물질화하는 역할을 한다. microRNA는 유전자들이 정상적으로 작동하도록 통제하는 기능을 한다. 질병을 일으키는 DNA가 있어도, microRNA의 작용에 따라 그 DNA가 발현이 되지 않을 수 있다. \n\n microRNA는 그 자체로 귀중한 데이터이면서, 새로운 솔루션을 개발하는데 다양하게 활용할 수 있다. 탈모를 예를 들어보자. 두피에서 머리카락이 나는 부위가 있고, 나지 않는 부위가 있을 것이다. 머리카락이 나는 부위에서는 microRNA가 머리카락을 나게끔 작용하고 있을 것이고, 그렇지 않은 부위에서는 microRNA가 머리카락이 나지 않게 작용하고 있을 것이다. 이 데이터를 활용해서 탈모에 작용하는 microRNA를 파악해서 솔루션을 개발할 수 있다.\n\n 이외에도 웨어러블 디바이스를 통한 통증의 정량화된 측정, 프리모 관 체계(Primo Vascular System)의 계측, 뇌파를 이용한 감정의 측정 등에도 관심을 가지고 있다. \n\n 생체데이터를 보다 쉽게 수집할 수 있게 되면, 여러 치료법들을 쉽게 검증할 수 있게 된다. 단순히 효과가 있는지 없는지뿐만 아니라, 효과에 영향을 미치는 여러 요인들과 그 기전까지 파악할 수 있을 것이다.",

      "body": "HOLOS라는 이름은 퍼스널 브랜딩의 대가인 임문수 교수님께서 2013년도에 지어주셨다.\nhologram, holistic 등의 어원이 되는 라틴어이며, '완전한 존재 holistic entity'라는 의미를 가진다.\n\n이런 이름을 짓게 된 계기는 내가 그동안 추구해온 미션 때문이다.\n나는 그동안 모든 의학과 모든 치유의 통합을 꿈꿔왔다. \n나는 의과대학을 졸업한 의사이다. \n2001년부터 태극권을 수련해왔고, 대학원에서는 선도학을 전공하며 다양한 심신수련법을 접했다. \nNLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming), EFT(Emotional Freedom Technique), 액세스 바즈(Access Bars) 등 심리기법과 에너지 힐링을 터득하기도 했다.\n임상현장에서 통합기능의학을 접목해서 진료를 봐왔으며, 그 경험을 바탕으로 스타트업을 창업했다. \n줄기세포, 누트로픽, 디바이스, 유전자 치료 등의 활용에도 관심이 많다.\n\n임문수교수님께서 이런 나의 삶을 아셨기에, 당시에 HOLOS라는 브랜드 이름을 제안해주셨다. \n약 5년이 흐른 지금에서야 나는 그 이름으로 프로젝트를 시작하게 되었다.\n이 이름 그대로 HOLOS는 인간이 보다 완전한 존재가 되는 것을 도와주는 프로젝트이다. \n\n질병, 노화, 고통 등은 불균형상태(imbalance)에서 비롯된다. \n균형이 잘 맞는 상태(balance)를 유지한다면 계속 건강하게 살 수 있다. \n그 균형상태를 상향조정(hyperbalance)한다면 더 건강하게, 더 행복하게, 더 활기있게, 더 똑똑하게 살 수 있다.\n\nHOLOS는 RICCO를 만나면서 업그레이드되었다. \nRicco는 이탈리아어로 rich라는 뜻이다. \n균형(balance)에서 초균형(hyperbalance)로 업그레이드되듯이, HOLOS도 RICCO HOLOS로 업그레이드되었다. \n\nRICCO는 호주에 근거지를 둔 글로벌 펀딩 및 재능기부형 암호화폐/블록체인 프로젝트이다. \n블록체인을 통해 사회에 기여하려는 정신이 강하며, 역량있는 멤버들과 영향력있는 글로벌 파트너들이 함께 하고 있다. \n\nRICCO팀에서 HOLOS프로젝트의 취지를 온전히 이해하고 목표의식을 공유하면서 RICCO HOLOS로 거듭나게 되었다.",

      "body": "During my years of med school, I stumbled over an extremely easy, yet highly paid part-time job. \nIt was easy as long as I could read comic books, watch a movie or even do nothing at all.\nThat was something I could definitely do, and I could earn about a month’s worth of private tutoring fees at the time, in only about two days. \n\nThat job, was taking part in clinical trials on therapeutic equivalence(TE).\nPut simply, it was an experiment to see if the original medicine and the generic medicine had the same effects.\nIt involved gathering people who were not too concerned about side-effects, placing them in a controlled environment, administering medicine at a specific time, and drawing blood for examination.\nIt rewarded participants with some hefty income, and that income reflected the value of the data the human body could produce.\n\nThe human body produces tremendous amount of data, constantly. \nIf all that ‘bio-data’ could be collected and utilized, it would be of exorbitant value.\n\nMoreover, such data doesn’t necessarily have to involve drawing blood at a medical institution, as I had done. Weights from a scale is a bio-data. Information of daily activity from Fitbit is also bio-data.\n\nNowadays, we can even send hair or urine through courier to check DNA or cell functions, which is again bio-data.\n(for reference, the company HaloKorea that I have founded and am taking the CEO of, is providing such examinations)\n\nBut, are there really people out there who are willing to pay for such bio-data?\n\nThere are. In fact, there are lots.\n\n1. Practitioners or healers who want to prove their remedies,\n\n2. Supplement companies that want to prove and inform their products’ effectiveness,\n\n3. Pharmaceutical or medical equipment companies that want to develop new products based on data,\n\nAnd so on, and so forth.\n\nUntil now, interested parties could not collect ‘bio-data’ with ease.\nUntil now, people did not know how to provide ‘bio-data’ to those who need it.\n\nThere is supply, there is demand, but there is no market for them to freely work. \n\nOnly through medical schools or large medical institutions could such supply and demand limitedly be met, meaning centralization and a lack of transparency.\n\nBut now, a technological innovation called blockchain has emerged, and token economies are being created.\n\nIf biodata could be digitized, encrypted, stored on a blockchain platform, and be traded with tokens,\nWe, as suppliers of biodata, can easily produce revenue and income simply by weighing ourselves on a daily basis.\nInterested parties, as consumers of biodata, such as Calamansi juice producers can easily gather people to participate in proving whether their juice is effective in weight-control;\nPeople other than professors of medical schools, can also easily get access to data for theses;\nAnd pharmaceutical or medical appliance companies can reduce their burden of trial-and-error.\n\nThe memory of my extremely easy, yet highly paid part-time job and token economy came across each other.
