Sometimes, we write without realizing that we've copied someone's work. This particular instance is termed plagiarism.\nPlagiarism can be seen as an act of using someone's work without reference or proper reference.\n\nThis term plagiarism is prone in our educational system. This generation children who are blessed with a lot of technology finds it to difficult to do proper research, so the only thing is to go into the internet and copy someone's work. This act is called plagiarism.\n\n#### TYPES OF PLAGIARISM\nThere are several types of plagiarism people often commit. The essential ones will be discussed below.\n\n##### SELF PLAGIARISM \nOne of the frequent occuring type of plagiarism is self plagiarism. This occurs when an individual copies his previous work or works knowingly or unknowingly without referencing it.\nIt doesn't really matter if the work belong to you, as long as it's not what it's been used in the current work, it should be referenced.\n\n##### COMPLETE PLAGIARISM \nAs the name goes, complete. This mean completely using someone's idea without reference. It's not nice to steal, and this act is regarded as stealing. So in other to avoid it, every copied work should be referenced.\n\n##### ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM\nAnother type of plagiarism people often commit unknowingly is the accidental plagiarism. In this type of plagiarism, an author accidentally copies someone's work without realizing it. Sometimes, he feels what he's writing on his own is his real work without knowing someone has already used such writing before.\nIt's adviced to always check your work before posting to avoid accidental plagiarism.\n\n##### PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM\nSome individuals knowingly paraphrase. Paraphrasing in other words can be seen as an act of changing someone's word to suit your interest. This changed words represent the same meaning as the other person's word. When this happens, it is called paraphrasing.\n\n##### SOURCE BASED PLAGIARISM\nThis type of Plagiarism comes with mistake in correctly sourcing a copied work. In some instance, an author can get ideas from two sources but uses only one source. This type is called source based plagiarism.\n\n#### CITATION\nCitation can sometimes be called reference. It is said to occur when an author references or cites a copied text. Below is an example of what citation looks like.\n\n>A citation is a reference to a source. Memo key:** This key is used in encryption.\nEncryption is type of security used in safeguarding a file that can be understood by the person that encrypted it or the original person the message is meant for.\n\n**4. Owner key:** This key grants full access to the owner of an account.\n As the name implies, to own means to possess something that belongs to you. So, the owner key is the key that controls everything in Steemit.\n\n**Master password**: The word master denotes experty in something unique to someone.\nA master in Steemit is a person who has explored the ups and downs of Steemit and have understood everything in the platform.\nThe master key is that key used in controlling other keys in steemit. My dad is a retired civil servant and my mom is also a civil servant, a pharmacist to be precise. I concluded my primary school education in the year 2004 while I finished my secondary school education in the year 2010 and also obtained my West African Examination Certificate (WAEC). I got my admission into a higher institution (Ignatius Ajuru University of Education) in the year 2014 immediately after I concluded a two year diploma course in law. I graduated in the year 2018 as a **B. Ed** holder with a second class in English and Communication Art department. Finally, I completed my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the year 2020. \n****\n****\n\n<center>**HOW I DISCOVERED THIS PLATFORM**</center>\nIt is important in life to engage in meaningful conversation with sound minds. I found about Steemit during one of my conversation with some group of friends at my place of work. At first, I had no interest about it but honestly, when I got to know more about Steemit through their testimonies, my interest got aroused and I indicated interest in being part of this great community. \nTo end the long story, it won't be have been an easy road if not for the help of a wonderful friend in the of @ederra. \n****\n****\n\n<center>**HOBBIES**</center>\n\nI have few hobbies and they're; Reading, gaming, music and playing soccer. Amongst all, I particularly enjoy playing soccer because I have interesting memories on it. I've been scolded to stop playing soccer because of the numerous injuries I've sustained and the few motorbike accidents I've been involved in just because of playing soccer and despite all these, my love for it still wax stronger. \nWhen talking about soccer, I fancy two big names in the game in the name of Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.\nThe physique of Ronaldo and the trick in Messi's left foot is something awesome to this our generation.\n****\n****\n<center>WHY I JOINED STEEMIT</center>\n\nTo be concise, I have two major reasons for joining Steemit. I'm a native of Bukuma in Degema Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria. I was born on October 28, 1992. I'm the 2nd son in a family of six(6). My parents are Mr & Mrs Olari Fortunatus. My dad is a retired civil servant and my mom is also a civil servant, a pharmacist to be precise. I concluded my primary school education in the year 2004 while I finished my secondary school education in the year 2010 and also obtained my West African Examination Certificate (WAEC). I got my admission into a higher institution (Ignatius Ajuru University of Education) in the year 2014 immediately after I concluded a two year diploma course in law. I graduated in the year 2018 as a **B. Ed** holder with a second class in English and Communication Art department. Finally, I completed my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the year 2020. \n****\n****\n\n<center>**HOW I DISCOVERED THIS PLATFORM**</center>\nIt is important in life to engage in meaningful conversation with sound minds. I found about Steemit during one of my conversation with some group of friends at my place of work. At first, I had no interest about it but honestly, when I got to know more about Steemit through their testimonies, my interest got aroused and I indicated interest in being part of this great community. \nTo end the long story, it won't be have been an easy road if not for the help of a wonderful friend in the of @ederra. \n****\n****\n\n<center>**HOBBIES**</center>\n\nI have few hobbies and they're; Reading, gaming, music and playing soccer. Amongst all, I particularly enjoy playing soccer because I have interesting memories on it. I've been scolded to stop playing soccer because of the numerous injuries I've sustained and the few motorbike accidents I've been involved in just because of playing soccer and despite all these, my love for it still wax stronger. \nWhen talking about soccer, I fancy two big names in the game in the name of Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.\nThe physique of Ronaldo and the trick in Messi's left foot is something awesome to this our generation.\n****\n****\n<center>WHY I JOINED STEEMIT</center>\n\nTo be concise, I have two major reasons for joining Steemit. Firstly, I find inner joy whenever I'm writing because of my hidden ambition in writing about different things ranging from societal norms and things borne out of my imagination. I desire to inspire readers through my writing and also pass across meaningful information.
