      "body": "What is self-esteem?\n\nSelf-esteem is how we value and perceive ourselves. It's based on our opinions and beliefs about ourselves, which can sometimes feel really difficult to change.\n\nYour self-esteem can affect whether you:\n\nlike and value yourself as a person\n\nare able to make decisions and assert yourself\n\nrecognise your strengths and positives\n\nfeel able to try new or difficult things\n\nshow kindness towards yourself\n\nmove past mistakes without blaming yourself unfairly\n\ntake the time you need for yourself\n\nbelieve you matter and are good enough\n\nbelieve you deserve happiness.\n\nWhere Does Self-Esteem Come From?\n\nParents, teachers, and others. The people in our lives can affect how we feel about ourselves. When they focus on what's good about us, we feel good about ourselves. When they are patient when we make mistakes, we learn to accept ourselves. When we have friends and get along, we feel liked.\n\nBut if adults scold more than they praise, it's hard to feel good about yourself. Bullying and mean teasing by siblings or peers can hurt self-esteem, too. Harsh words can stick, and become part of how you think about yourself. Luckily, it doesn't have to stay that way.\n\nThe voice in your own head. The things you say to yourself play a big part in how you feel about yourself. Thinking, \"I'm such a loser\" or \"I'll never make friends,\" hurts your self-esteem.\n\nThere are other ways to think about the same things. \"I didn't win this time — but maybe next time.\" \"Maybe I can make some friends.\" That voice is more hopeful. It helps you feel OK. And it could turn out to be true.\n\nSometimes, the voice in our head is based on harsh words others have said. Or on bad times we have faced. Sometimes, the voice is just us being hard on ourselves. But we can change the voice in our own head. We can learn to think better of ourselves.\n\nLearning to do things. We feel good when we learn to read, add, draw, or build. Play a sport, play music, write an essay, ride a bike. Set the table, wash the car. Help a friend, walk the dog. Each thing you learn and do is a chance to feel good about yourself. Step back and look what you can do. Let yourself feel happy with it.\n\nBut sometimes we're too hard on ourselves. We don't accept that what we do is good enough. If we think, \"It's not really any good,\" \"It's not perfect,\" or \"I can't do it well enough,\" we miss the chance to build self-esteem.\n\nWhat If My Self-Esteem Is Low?\n\nYou can do things to feel better about yourself. It's never too late. Here are some tips to raise your self-esteem:\n\nBe with people who treat you well. Some people act in ways that tear you down. Others lift you up by what they say and do. Learn to tell the difference. Choose friends who help you feel OK about yourself. Find people you can be yourself with. Be that type of friend for others.\n\nSay helpful things to yourself. Tune in to the voice in your head. Is it too critical? Are you too hard on yourself? For a few days, write down some of the things you say to yourself. Look over your list. Are these things you'd say to a good friend? If not, rewrite them in a way that's true, fair, and kind. Read your new phrases often. Do it until it's more of a habit to think that way.\n\nAccept what's not perfect. It's always good to do the best you can. But when you think you need to be perfect, you can't feel good about anything less. Accept your best. Let yourself feel good about that. Ask for help if you can't get past a need to be perfect.\n\nSet goals and work toward them. If you want to feel good about yourself, do things that are good for you. Maybe you want to eat a healthier diet, get more fit, or study better. Make a goal. Then make a plan for how to do it. Stick with your plan. Track your progress. Be proud of what you've done so far. Say to yourself, \"I've been following my plan to work out every day for 45 minutes. I feel good about it. I know I can keep it up.\"\n\nFocus on what goes well. Are you so used to talking about problems that they're all you see? It's easy to get caught up in what's wrong. But unless you balance it with what's good, it just makes you feel bad. Next time, catch yourself when you complain about yourself or your day. Find something that went well instead.\n\nGive and help. Giving is one the best ways to build self-esteem. Tutor a classmate, help clean up your neighborhood, walk for a good cause. Help out at home or at school. Make it a habit to be kind and fair. Do things that make you proud of the kind of person you are. A recent innovation has led to the recovery and concentration of water-soluble antioxidants from palm oil milling waste, characterized by its high content of phenolic acids and flavonoids. These natural ingredients pose both challenges and opportunities for the food and nutraceutical industries. Palm oil's rich content of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids has actually been turned into an asset in view of current dietary recommendations aimed at zero trans content in solid fats such as margarine, shortenings and frying fats. Using palm oil in combination with other oils and fats facilitates the development of a new generation of fat products that can be tailored to meet most current dietary recommendations. The wide range of natural palm oil fractions, differing in their physico-chemical characteristics, the most notable of which is the carotenoid-rich red palm oil further assists this. Palm vitamin E (30% tocopherols, 70% tocotrienols) has been extensively researched for its nutritional and health properties, including antioxidant activities, cholesterol lowering, anti-cancer effects and protection against atherosclerosis. These are attributed largely to its tocotrienol content. A relatively new output from the oil palm fruit is the water-soluble phenolic-flavonoid-rich antioxidant complex. This has potent antioxidant properties coupled with beneficial effects against skin, breast and other cancers. Enabled by its water solubility, this is currently being tested for use as nutraceuticals and in cosmetics with potential benefits against skin aging. A further challenge would be to package all these palm ingredients into a single functional food for better nutrition and health.Palm kernel oil is a rich antioxidants agent that contains vitamin E. And vitamin E, coupled with the antioxidants properties in it, help prevent the signs and symptoms of aging.\n\nObservation has also shown that the use of palm kernel oil does not only prevent fine lines, it helps delay sagging and wrinkled skin. My achievement 2 post, entails some set of key question's of which was involved in my task on basic security on steem,Of which i will be providing answers to each in numerical order.\nQuestion 1\nHave you retrieve all your keys on steemit?\n\nQuestion2\nDo you know each of these key functions and restrictions?\n\nQuestion 3\nHow do you plan to keep your master password?\n\nQuestion 4\nDo you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?\n\nQuestion 5\nDo you know how to power up your STEEM?\n\nYES I HAVE RETRIVED ALL MY KEY'S\n2.I KNOW THE FUNCTIONS OF EACH OF MY KEY'S AND THERE SPECIFIC RESTRICTION'S\n3.I PLAN ON KEEPING MY MASTER PASSWORD BY SAVING IT ON MY GOOGLE DRIVE AND ALSO PRINTING OUT A HARD COPY FOR FILING JUST IN CASE THE SOFT COPY GOES WRONG AM SUREE TO HAVE A BACK UP.\n4.YES I DO THIS A PROCESS WHICH INVOLVES COPYING YOUR ACTIVE KEY PASSWORD TO LOG INTO YOUR STEEM WALLET THEN YOU CLICK ON THE DROP DOWN ICON IN THE WORD STEEM (DONT CLICK THE BUY STEEMUNLESS WHEN BUYING), YOU FILL IN YOUR DETAILS AND THE NAME OF THE ACCOUNT YOUR TRANSFERING THE STEEM TO.\n5.YES I DO KNOW HOW TO POWER UP MY STEEM OF WHICH FEW OF THE DETAILS INVOLVED IN CONVERTING STEEM TO SP IS CALLED POWERING UP.
