      "body": "Your gift will make a way for you.\nHappy Sunday to you my co steemers, it is a new day and the begging of the week, I hope you guys have been good and you have being doing yourself for real. \nWe are in the last week of the first month of 2020, it is so shocking that gradually we have started our journey in this year and before you know it, it will be the 31st day of December 2020. Before it gets to that, I would have to indulge everyone of us to please try to ensure at least you accomplish something each month or each week that brings you closer to your goal.\nAs the popular saying that “Rome was not built in a day” and that a journey of 1000 km, starts with a step. This brings me to the topic of my post today “Your gift will make a way for you”\nAccording to the book of Proverb, 18 chapter 16 it reads “A man’s gift makes room for him\nand brings him before the great. ESV.\nWhat is that thing that is your gift, what is that thing that is your passion, what is that thing that you are excited doing? You have no reasons to be worried, everyone of us is born with one talent or the other, you need to discover your talent and then use your talent which is your gift, utilized it and then it will make a way for you.\nMoses in the Bible was a shepherd and his first encounter with God was in an open field, the first quest that he was asked was Moses, what is in your hand? He responded and say, it is just a rod. Moses was a shepherd and it is typical for a shepherd to have a rod which he uses to direct the animals, in other words, the rod was his gift. If you follow the story to the end, that rod, that gift that was in Moses hand, brought him before Pharaoh, that gift of his brought him before kings. If you have time, you can read the story in Exodus 4:2,.\nToday brothers and sisters, what is in your hand? What is that gift that you posses, you should start today and make use of that gift as that gift as the bible says, will makes room for you,\nAs you journey through this week, you should remember to utilize your gift and stay focus on your goal.\nRemember, no one can you do better than you.",

      "body": "Good day Steemit family and friends, \nIts been couple of days that I am able to write up a post, this is because holiday time is over, work has resumed fully it is getting busier at work, it is one call after call and and no time to spare for a minute for a quick hello or a few paragraphs of a post, you all are on my mind and I miss you guys just time is limited.\nI just want to make a summation about live generally, many times we are so caught up  with our daily work and schedules that we do not have time to check on our friends and family, but that doesn't really mean we do not like them its just that we do not want to \"economize\" our time with them, we believed that friends & family needs our full attention and not just a \"touch and go moment\"  \nTime is something that we will never have control of, no matter how flexible or schedules are, in one way or the order we will be at that point that we say, wow, how time flies.\nBrothers and sisters, spend your time well, create a moment to check on loved ones, even a single hello can change someones live, it will show that you care and that you are on my mind, just as you all are on my mind.\n\"I am who I am not who you think I am, not who you want me to be, I am me\".\nNo one can do you more than you, you are unique.\nCheers!",

      "body": "Morning Family,\nI hope you’ve all been doing good.\nIt has been a busy week for me so far, the kids are back at school, work is getting busier as everyone is now awake from the holiday mood. Well, that is life and it goes on an on, we should just be grateful for our life and believe our best is yet to come.\nToday, a quote from one of my favourite actors Denzel Washington caught my attention and the quote goes like this.\n“If I am a cup maker, I’m interested in making the best cup I possibly can. My effort goes into that cup, not what people think about it.” – Denzel Washington\nFocus on what you are doing, and not the critics. Critics never made history, and critics never made anyone’s life better. Focus on adding value in your own unique special way.\nThis quote reminded me when I was new in the country and jobless, I was busing going to the internet café searching for job online, every cent I got I make sure I reserved some for my next day browsing to the extend that I became friend with the guy that runs the café who on many times allowed me to use the internet at an added time for free and even go out of his way to give me internet time even when I don’t have money.\nMost of my friends and my flat mate, used to laugh at me telling me that instead of me to use that money and buy food or spend my time watching movies I am wasting them on the internet café searching for a job, there are no jobs and even before you are considered for any position, they will consider the citizens.\nI did not let all these discouragement get to me, I pressed on, focussing on my goal of getting a job, I applied for gazillions jobs and after 4 months of perseverance I got an interview for a Telesales job, which I have no idea how a Telesales environment  works as I’ve never work as Telesales agent before as a Computer Science graduate, I have only worked all my life as a Computer Officer, Admin Manager and a Desktop Publisher Assistant. However, I have had the zeal to work in a Telesales or Call centre because of the guys I used to speak to on the customer care lines and those that calls me to sell insurance and all those kind of stuff this makes me to apply for any job that is call centre or as Telesales area.\nBefore the interview, I have to run around to ask for transport fare and also ask people where the address is and I got lucky I was able to raise money for transportation and I know or I have idea of how to get to the Company.\nI attended the interview, it wasn’t good enough remember the position was for a Telesales which I’ve never being part of, the guys who interviewed me I alter know as the one of the co-owner and the second guy the Telesales Manager were not keen about my answers to their questions and I was told, we will call you for the second interview should you qualify.\nSecond day, I got a call for the second interview and I have to hustle for another transport fare this time I was optimistic because for me to get a second interview meant I have a chance, I was at the address and this time the owner will be interviewing me.\nWe sat and the interview commend, he introduced himself, and that he saw on my CV that I don’t have Telesales experience however there is an aspect on my CV that caught his attention, I did a research work in school and I should explain to him how this was done.\nTold him I write computer programs and as a case study I need to visit a particular Bank or Company, find out how their system works and then come up with a program and present it as my project.\nHe was very impressed and informed me that he will be creating a Research Department and he will be employing me to run this, I will be doing my research on the phone, email and find out what programme or course people are interested to attend, what they expect in such training and   that was how I got employed and gradually I got into the system.\nIf I had focus on the complains or the negative comments my friends were making, I would have given up and would have never being where I am today.\nLet us focus on our goals and forget about what people say.\nOn a last note, I will leave you with the word of Apostle Paul in the Bible, Philippians 3:14, Apostle Paul wrote “So I run straight toward the goal in order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to the life above”.       "body": "Morning Family,\nI just want to leave you with this story.\nA lady was waiting for her flight at the airport. Since she would need to wait many hours, she decided to buy a book and a packet of cookies to spend her time. She sat down in an armchair, in the VIP room of the airport, to rest and read in peace. \nBeside the armchair where the packet of cookies lay, a man was seated in the next seat, he opened his magazine and started reading\nWhen she took out the first cookie, the man took one also. She felt irritated but said nothing. She just thought: “What a nerve! If I was in the mood I would punch him for daring!”\nFor each cookie she took, the man took one too. This was infuriating her but she didn’t want to cause a scene. When only one cookie remained, she thought: “ah… What would this abusive man do now?”\nThen, the man, taking the last cookie, divided it into half, giving her one half. Ah! That was too much! She was much too angry now! Angrily she took her things and stormed out of there. When she sat down in her seat, inside the plane, she looked into her purse to take her eyeglasses, and to her surprise, her packet of cookies was there, untouched, unopened!\nShe felt so ashamed! She realized that she was wrong. She had forgotten that her cookies were kept in her purse.\nThe man had divided his cookies with her, without feeling angered or bitter. “While she had been very angry, thinking that she was\ndividing her cookies with him.\nAnd now there was no chance to explain herself, nor to apologize.”\n\nThere are 4 things that you cannot recover: \nThe stone after the throw! \nThe word after it’s said! \nThe occasion after the loss! \nThe time after it’s gone.\nCherish Every Moment and fill It with Love and Care for everyone.\nHave an awesome week!!!",

      "body": "Hello Family,\nToday I am taking an extract from one of my favourite books, 48 Laws of power, written by Robert Greene.\n\nThis book has been one of the manuals I refer to in my everyday life. I have applied many of the laws and believe me it worked.\n\nToday, I will make a reference to Law 5 of the 48 Laws of power and it talks about reputation.\n\nReputation according to the Cambridge dictionary, defines reputation as the opinion that people in general have about someone or something, or how much respect or admiration someone or something receives, based on past behaviour or character:\n\nIn Robert Greene’s 48 Laws of power, Law 5 states as follows:\n\nLaw 5: So Much Depends On Reputation Guard It With Your Life.\n“Reputation is the cornerstone of power: through reputation alone you can intimidate and win; once it slips however you are vulnerable and will be attacked on all sides. Make your reputation unassailable. Always be alert to potential attacks and thwart them before they happen. Meanwhile learn to destroy your enemies by opening holes in their own reputations. Then stand aside and let public opinion hang them.” \n\nYou have to protect your reputation as it lives after you; it is a landmark that you leave on the face of earth, even when you have transited.\n\nAs I always say, remember that there is no other you and no one can do you more than you. Another you is a counterfeit. \nEnjoy the rest of your day, walk with your shoulder high and do you!",
