In the Karate philosophy, the fight should end with a single punitive blow, inflicted with the greatest possible force. It should be remembered that this power does not come only from the muscles. Yes, they are important, but I think they play a secondary role. If we consider the impact in terms of kinetic potential, it is better to increase the speed of the hand or leg impact than its mass. The maximum impact velocity can only be achieved by relaxed muscles. In Karate, every impact is assumed to be an end blow, so every movement is made in harmony with the whole body, with the work of the legs, with the rotation of the hips, with the principle of levers. All this in one technique allows you to strike immediately, precisely and with maximum force. It is also important to bear in mind that physical and mental principles cannot be considered separately.
