The developer team was running a referral contest back then, giving away free eggs but there was little information provided about the game. That's when I made my decision to dig further into the matter and compile all the facts I could find.\n\nSince then a lot of things have happened. The alpha version of the game is currently up and running and the auction house was launched recently. So far the developers are doing a great job of updating and rebalancing. New features and items are implemented constantly, listening to community feedback, which is great.\n\n<h3> So what is aethia all about?</h3>\n\nTo give you a brief introduction:  Aethia is a fantasy pet-raising and role-playing game running on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethergotchi are fantastic creatures that arrived on Aethia via a meteor. Little is known about these Ethergotchi but they seem incredibly diverse and are hatched from eggs. Once the game goes live, you will be able to obtain a free starter egg. Another option is to purchase a hatched 'gotchi from the auction house.\nIt takes six interactions until you ethergotchi will hatch. So far there are seven different choices implemented, all with different effects, allowing you to create the 'gotchi of your dreams. \n\nPerforming interactions require a certain amount of **happiness & energy**. If these levels reach a certain value, your pet might run away or even die, so better take care of your ethergotchi. The recently introduced auction house allows you to sell and purchase ethergotchi at any stage of their life cycle. Once your pet reaches the adult stage it may mate with other 'gotchi resulting in a new egg. This action can be performed only once so you better make sure to find the right partner. If these levels reach a certain value, your pet might run away or even die, so better take care of your ethergotchi.
