bodyI feel like too many of the Crypto Youtubers have turned into hype machines / Pump n' Dumps. They do superficial analysis of coins (or copy others), buy into them, promote them, get others to promote them, watch the price rise, convince people they're onto to something, and then the process just repeats itself. My guess is, no other Youtubers are going to say anything negative about XRB since they probably already bought into it and have started the hyping process.

bodyThat's cool that you're pursuing a CS degree. I just finished my first semester of my CS degree. It might be a cool idea to create a series where you show your progression of your tetris block. I don't really understand how to make an AI for basically any game but tic tac toe because I just finished intro and am moving on to data structures this semester! I would be interested to see your progression! Good luck on steemit!

bodyI agree that adoption is the number one barrier followed by UI's. I really wish more businesses would accept BTC or LTC or really anything. As a miner, the only places I can spend my earned coins are eGifter and Newegg. Used to also be Steam (PC Video Game Marketplace) but they removed that functionality. Maybe another video idea could be to possibly explain what would have to occur in order for businesses to start openly accepting more and more crypto's. I know its a bit out of your area of expertise, but hearing your explanation would be great. On a side note, anyone want to take a guess as to how many other big name crypto youtubers will follow his opinion now?

titleHow Nicehash Miner Software Works
bodySimply put, Nicehash miner software works by you giving Nicehash permission to use your computer hardware to "mine" cryptocurrencies. -The Contract System- However, Nicehash does not mine itself. It gets paid in contracts where it says to a potential buyer, "Hey, I'll sell you THIS MUCH mining power for the cost of $XX. Typically paid for in Bitcoin. The cost as well as the amount of mining power varies day to day with the value of certain currencies and the current demand. No, you are not mining Bitcoin. You are mining other cryto's for other people and being paid in Bitcoin as compensation. -Why I use Nicehash- In my personal experience, Nicehash has given me more money per day than any other mining I have tried. I tried Kryptex when Nicehash went down, and the website was mostly in Russian, and the returns were 1/3 to 1/4 that of on Nicehash. Nicehash maximizes your income by automatically picking for you what coin to mine at that time by selecting the most profitable for your hardware. That was a long sentence. It works like this: Nicehash checks starts by benchmarking your system, seeing how your hardware performs mining using different algorithms. Then it checks real time charts for what is being paid for each algorithm at that time. It then calculates how much you can make with each algo and picks the most profitable. I have tried mining XMR, VivoCoin, Feathercoin, and a few others, but these required much more setup, know how, and maintenance to keep working. If you are a BAT file God, you possibly could make more money outside of Nicehash but you would have to know exactly what you were doing and in my experience it was hard to find good info on configuring BAT files for different cryptos. I also was not making as much. On Nicehash using 4 RX 580's I make an average of $12 to $14 a day. Mining Monero before, I was making about $8.50 to $9.00 a day. -Wallet Warning- The biggest thing to be warned of is that you MUST, I mean MUST use an external wallet. Do not under ANY circumstances use their inhouse ledger wallet. The fees are higher and it just got hacked in the beginning of December. Personally, I got burned by the hack. I did not personally lose too much money, but reading forums I have seen that some people lost thousands. Luckily, everyone will eventually get all of their money back its just a matter of when. From what I can tell, the fees for removing your money to an external wallet is 4% and leaving it inhouse is about 7%. Even with these fees, I still make more money using Nicehash than trying to configure a BAT file in an attempt to Pool Mine. I do think it might prove to be more profitable speculating on a new coin trying to mine it before it gets popular, then holding and selling when the price goes up substantially. This is more work though and less guaranteed. -A Suggestion For An External Wallet- I learned my lesson, and installed a lightweight wallet called Electrum. I chose a lightweight wallet because I did not want to download the entire blockchain to keep my wallet up to date. All transactions ever in Bitcoin have been through the blockchain, and in its current form, it is very large. "Lightweight" just means your wallet communicates with a server to be up to date on the status of the blockchain. I also liked Electrum because it had a pnemonic key recovery system. However, this is not advice, just what I did. Do your own research and pick a wallet outside of Nicehash that best meets your security and ease-of-use requirements.

bodyWall Street won't be that important until we see an ETF get approved - most of Wall Street is not allowed to own Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies directly. So the big thing to follow will be ETF submissions and responses from SEC. I think the declining Bitcoin market share is an opportunity - all it takes is the launch of the Lightning Network for everyone to suddenly switch from altcoins to Bitcoin. Recall that while Bitcoin had its bull run from October to December, everyone thought altcoins would never see any love ever again. Now people think Bitcoin is too slow and expensive, thus Bitcoin will die a slow death and altcoins will start to take over its market share. But I bet you that Bitcoin will come back with a ferocity, as it always does.

bodyHonestly, I don't think you need "higher quality" content. I watch all of your videos because you have a background in finance and you know EXACTLY what you are talking about. You are basically the only crypto channel I watch who actually understand the markets and what the graphs mean and make accurate predictions for the future. I have learned so much from your videos about how cryptocurrency works, that it is insane. In fact, I actually get kind of upset when I watch other videos talking about crypto because in my head I go, "That's not right!", or cryptoinvestor said exactly the opposite of that and his explanation made sense! When you said other bignames only scratch the surface of the issues, I 100% agree with you on this. That is why I typically only watch you. In the beginning, your monotone nature kind of set me off, but I have gotten used to it and now enjoy it when you make little jabs at things or jokes. I especially laughed reading your response to a fellow youtuber who is "all in" on ripple a few days ago, and how his username of "teenage investor" fit him well. LOL. I actually joined Steemit because of your promotion of it. Some questions I have for you / video ideas are what is your opinion on Wallstreet getting involved in crypto in 2018 ( you may have answered this in a previous video but I may have missed it), and what is your opinion on Bitcoin losing a ton of market share, down to 37% currently. I know in the past you said you are weary of Bitcoin losing market share because when the market corrects everything typically gets hurt worse than BTC. All in all, great job growing your channel so fast! You're one of my favorite channels on youtube.

titleHow A Computer Works For Beginners
bodyHave you wondered how a computer works, or want to build one yourself? I did too at one point and now I would like to help fellow beginners understand how a computer works. I have made this as simple and to the point, without missing out on any important details, as possible. I will sometimes refer to a computer colloquially as PC, or personal computer. They both mean the same thing. If you learn anything from this guide or still have any questions, make sure to comment down below. I will to the best of my ability answer each question. This is part one in a series, discussing mainly the basics of how computer work and what each component does, and why it is important. All data transmission in computers is facilitated through electrons going through logic gates, but this is too in depth for this guide. In the future I will make a more in depth guide of how computers work. Thanks for reading my first steemit post! There are six essential parts that every computer needs. These are the motherboard, processor(cpu), memory (RAM), power supply, storage(hard disk drive) and the case. Each of these are very important in their own right, and a computer needs all of these parts -except for a case- in order to run. Computers also need an operating system, but in this guide I will only cover hardware. I will now explain what each of these parts does, and why it is important to the computer as a whole. To make each component better understandable, I will use a metaphor to compare a computer to a classroom. In the beginning, this metaphor may not make much sense, but as we go on, it should clear up. -Processor- ![IMG_3013.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQQbjA694KELoZ8tBnQobib9nudPHFdjTmaf1n9BVLKsi/IMG_3013.JPG) The processor, aka CPU, takes in information from the RAM and interprets the data it receives. In the metaphor, the processor is the teacher or student. It takes data from a book(the storage), copies it to the whiteboard(the RAM), and works on it. If you have a problem in your book that says "4+10= " you could probably do this in your head and wouldn't need to copy this to a white board to solve it. A computer, however, would need to copy this problem from the hard disk drive(HDD) to the ram in order for the processor to work on it. But what if you were asked what the Riemann sum was for a definite integral. You most definitely would need to write this down to solve it. A computer works the same way, just as you copy a problem from a book to a sheet of paper to interpret, a computer copies data from the HDD to the RAM to solve. The CPU connects directly into the motherboard, but it is always covered by a CPU cooler. The CPU cooler is most of the time a heatsink made of of metal with a fan attached to it. The heatsink draws the heat out of the CPU so it doesn't overheat. Remember that data in a computer is sent through electrons, and these electrons build up heat, making the heatsink necessary. The CPU connects to the motherboard through what is called a socket. -Storage- ![IMG_3018.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmREWDhipSrTC7zELW8UNZ9wb4HZby9DiTLhSVyn8xP7ue/IMG_3018.JPG) This kind of memory storage is called non-volatile storage, and this is because if it loses power, it will never "forget" what it has written on it. Storage originated as magnetic tape in the 1950's, went through a lot of upgrades and now is known as Hard Disk Drives(HDD's), Solid State Drives(SSD's), or Universal Serial Bus (USB) flash drives. In the metaphor, storage is a textbook. You can't directly do anything with a textbook but read it, but if you copy its information to the whiteboard, or a piece of paper, you can now work on it. A computer has to copy the data it finds from the HDD to the RAM in order to work on it similarly. Most non-volatile memory connects to the motherboard through what are called SATA ports. The SATA ports on the motherboard are shown in the following picture. ![sata ports.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTYxoF2wUG9Dv5M4p2ok7NKfdf7zHcdFtd6iArNzVDDsH/sata%20ports.jpg) -Memory- ![IMG_3012.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmULfNkcUmfUhF6W96jBLCx9hzMQf9RiNwi9gpD6z1tK3s/IMG_3012.JPG) This kind of memory is called volatile storage, for the opposite reason as non-volatile storage. The component that is volatile storage in a computer is called the Random Access Memory, or RAM. In the metaphor, you copy the information from a textbook, to the white board in order to work on it. In a computer, the information is copied from the HDD or SSD, to the RAM for a CPU to interpret it. RAM connects to the motherboard through what are called DIMS. -Motherboard- ![IMG_3017.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmc3xCTawndyvB36njBvXB2Dv5VogxesPGcnrEr9dP8dzK/IMG_3017.JPG) The motherboard is what allows all other components to communicate with each other. The CPU, RAM, power supply, case, and storage all connect to it. In the metaphor, the motherboard is the classroom itself. It is the medium for the students to read the textbook and work problems on sheets of paper. -Power Supply- ![IMG_3019.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTipiLAz1Zqejc7A7eGMUftmuM3sgXxBf4kqwu9GFm4KX/IMG_3019.JPG) The Power Supply Unit(PSU), is what provides power to the rest of your computer. It is important that before you buy one, you calculate how much power you think your PC will consume, and buy a PSU with a power delivery of at least 200 Watts above your calculation. A good website for calculating this is http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ Cooler Master's own. -Case- ![IMG_3021.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQMsTyBdg7SAXtfSxYuoS4uxQ2hvMHLJ2nGYXc5sDZ2iU/IMG_3021.JPG) A computer case is an autological word. Saying the word describes what the word means. A computer case holds and protects all the other components from physical harm and a percentage of dust from getting into the computer. Almost all cases have a front I/O (Input and output). This means they have a power button and some USB ports, as well as a headphone jack. The front I/O also connects to the motherboard, usually along the button edge. In the metaphor, the case is the walls of the classroom. And those are all the essential parts of a computer! If you enjoyed this guide or learned anything, please tell me about it down below. Thanks for reading my first steemit post!
