bodyIn Q3- 2018 Bitcoin will implement the Lightning Network that will bring, among other changes, instantaneous and concurrent checks with transactions. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/68ebg8s9h8.jpg) The problem is that for the past year, the average number of Bitcoin transactions per second has hovered around a mean of 3. This compares to Visa’s network, which can handle closer to 3,600 transactions per second. And that’s not all. As the number of Bitcoin users increases, the transaction delays get even longer and the fees even higher. The simple reason for these low transaction volumes is that Bitcoin’s block size is capped at 1MB. The Bitcoin community is torn about increasing the cap of the block, and there are arguments to both sides. When Lightning becomes mainstream and is adopted by exchanges, Q3 2018, the Bitcoin price will skyrocket. The technology of the Lightning Network would significantly improve the process through which Bitcoin transactions are being validated. Presently, the validation process is via the use of mining rigs, and it requires that computers solve complex mathematical problems before transactions can be approved and recorded on the blockchain-ledger. And due to the computing power needed for these process, it can take more than an hour to confirm a single transaction. However, with lighting, the process would significantly speed up. The Lightning Network would require that each participant transaction on a ", offline channel," and the blockchain would then update to record the external-transaction. This would lead to the middleman of the mining rig or digital wallet provider being skipped entirely. The Lighting networks developers have indicated that its speed would enable it to "be used at retail point-of-sale terminals, with user device-to-device transactions or anywhere instant payments are needed. So don't sell your house to buy Bitcoins, don't get a loan, but invest as much as you can afford and you won't regret it

bodyDepends on your duration of investment and risk profile. By the coins you mention I'm guessing long duration, low risk. I would choose ETH 60%, BTC 30% and LTC 10%. I don't see a huge future for LTC, it has nothing special going for it. BTC is too big to grow much, but it is the untimate store of crytpo value. ETH still has room for much growth. Ripple is the devil in coin form. I won't touch it.

bodyVirtual or crypto currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are definitely by far the hottest investment product currently available. [image](https://img.esteem.ws/ypr5kai23z.jpg) The question of the best cryptocurrency to invest in, is very complex and it’s next to impossible to give a definite answer. The reason being all of these have their pros and cons and virtually no one can give you more than a speculation. Here are the main points about all of these currencies: Bitcoin - even though it’s not the very first currency out there, it certainly is the most popular and successful as of now. The market cap is way above all the other ones. It is often referenced to as digital gold, sort of an asset that gained enough momentum that it will remain valuable for time to come. Having said that, this does mean that the network is overloaded leading to major delays in transfers, it has many major governments trying to regulate (and often limit) its use, it became next to impossible to mine and the price of coins as well as the transaction fees are way up there, so much so that it hardly makes sense to invest if you don’t have rather hefty amounts to throw at it. Ether - Made using Ethereum, this currency has seen more than impressive growth. As of the beginning of 2018 it successfully surpassed 4 digits USD value for a single coin. The main advantage is the use of Ethereum on the backend, which is now used by many others to build blockchain based decentralized applications. It is way easier to understand and learn than the code behind bitcoin. For this reason, Ethereum has relevancy like no other and is being used by many institutions for all sorts of things. However, since the code is very young and decentralized, it is prone to bugs that can be pretty detrimental when they occur on big transactions. Also, the main thing that gives Ether the advantage that it currently has, which is the fact that it’s build on Ethereum, might be taken away from it if another, even more user friendly platforms occurs. Litecoin - It was made with the idea of it being a better, faster version of Bitcoin. It introduced features like SegWit and lightening network, which were supposed to make the transactions faster and cheaper. SegWit has been introduced to bitcoin blockchain as well, so the gap between the two has become somewhat smaller. Litecoin doesn’t really suggest any new ideas (like most altcoins), but rather refines the one that are essential to bitcoin. Ripple - Ripple, on the other hand, does introduce a significant change. It is used for fast money transactions and as such has a lot of appeal to major financial institutions. This is something that makes it somewhat more stable and less prone to fluctuations. It is not a cryptocoin in a traditional sense since it is mostly used to back the money transfers. Also it is way less decentralized since the company that made it owns over 60% of all coins. So options are there. It is worth noting that it is a very common practice for people to not invest in a single currency, but to build portfolios of a few of them. Also you can always exchange one currency into the other. As long as you compare the rates and make sure you’re getting the best deal, that shouldn’t be a problem.

"body": "Virtual or crypto currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are definitely by far the hottest investment product currently available. \n\n\n[image](https://img.esteem.ws/ypr5kai23z.jpg)\nThe question of the best cryptocurrency to invest in, is very complex and it’s next to impossible to give a definite answer. The reason being all of these have their pros and cons and virtually no one can give you more than a speculation. Here are the main points about all of these currencies:\n\n\nBitcoin - even though it’s not the very first currency out there, it certainly is the most popular and successful as of now. The market cap is way above all the other ones. It is often referenced to as digital gold, sort of an asset that gained enough momentum that it will remain valuable for time to come.\n\nHaving said that, this does mean that the network is overloaded leading to major delays in transfers, it has many major governments trying to regulate (and often limit) its use, it became next to impossible to mine and the price of coins as well as the transaction fees are way up there, so much so that it hardly makes sense to invest if you don’t have rather hefty amounts to throw at it.\n\nEther - Made using Ethereum, this currency has seen more than impressive growth. As of the beginning of 2018 it successfully surpassed 4 digits USD value for a single coin. The main advantage is the use of Ethereum on the backend, which is now used by many others to build blockchain based decentralized applications. It is way easier to understand and learn than the code behind bitcoin. For this reason, Ethereum has relevancy like no other and is being used by many institutions for all sorts of things.\n\nHowever, since the code is very young and decentralized, it is prone to bugs that can be pretty detrimental when they occur on big transactions. Also, the main thing that gives Ether the advantage that it currently has, which is the fact that it’s build on Ethereum, might be taken away from it if another, even more user friendly platforms occurs.\n\nLitecoin - It was made with the idea of it being a better, faster version of Bitcoin. It introduced features like SegWit and lightening network, which were supposed to make the transactions faster and cheaper.\n\nSegWit has been introduced to bitcoin blockchain as well, so the gap between the two has become somewhat smaller. Litecoin doesn’t really suggest any new ideas (like most altcoins), but rather refines the one that are essential to bitcoin.\n\nRipple - Ripple, on the other hand, does introduce a significant change. bodyEaster is always the Sunday closest to the first full moon after March 20th. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/b69i66k46m.jpg) Passover starts on a specific date of the Jewish Calendar (the 15th of Nisan). The Jewish calendar is a hybrid lunar-solar calendar; every month begins on the night of the full moon. This means that inserting leap days (as the Gregorian calendar does) to keep the schedule aligned with the solar year is impossible. Instead, the Jewish calendar adds an entire leap month every 2 or 3 years (7 out of 19 years). The current Jewish year (5776) is a leap year. This means that all the holidays are rather late, and Passover doesn't start until April 22. Meanwhile, the first full moon after March 20 is March 27, which is quite early (it could be anywhere from March 21 to April 25). However, you're right that having almost an entire month between Passover and Easter seems a little wrong—it is! This is because the Jewish calendar doesn't entirely correct for the difference between solar and lunar time-keeping. The Jewish year is slightly longer than the solar year, resulting in a discrepancy of 1 day every 230 years. This means that in the 16 centuries the current accounting of the Jewish year has been in place, the holidays have been gradually getting later and later than they "should" be. Various arguments have taken place regarding what should be done to fix this; unfortunately, as Jews love to argue, we've come to no consensus yet. I guess that at some point in the next couple decades, most of the global Jewish community will agree to eliminate one of the leap months we would observe, moving all of the holidays a full month earlier (until they start creeping up again).

bodyHappiness doesn’t come from material things or money. It comes from deeper fulfillment and by being content from within. First, let me explain why a lifestyle based off of money and material things don’t bring us happiness. If you rely on money for your happiness, then you fall into an endless cycle of frustration. What cycle? The cycle of thinking “I’ll be happy if I get X,” then getting X, not being satisfied, then thinking “I’ll be happy if I get Y,” then getting Y, and then keeping on with that same cycle of frustration. Unfortunately, this is what we’ve been led to believe - that chasing after money and after temporary things will bring us fulfillment. But it doesn’t. In America, people are more depressed and anxious than ever, even though we have so much. That’s because the more you have, the more you want, and the harder it is to find true happiness and contentment. Then what does happiness look like if it doesn’t involve material things? Have you ever searched all over the place for something, only to realize that you’ve had it with you all along? Happiness is like that. Rather than trying to fulfill every desire that comes to our minds, we can instead be content with what we currently have. Trying to achieve every passion we have is an endless process that only leads to frustration because the more we try to satisfy our desires, the more wishes we end up having. And we can never be happy if we are always in a state of desiring something because as long as we want something, we can never achieve peace in the current moment. The way to achieve this state of contentment is through spirituality. There’s a reason every significant culture has had a component of spirituality to it. We’re spiritual beings at our core. Through spirituality, we reconnect to our source (The Supreme, God, Allah, Jehovah, Krishna, etc.). By doing so, we begin to experience everlasting, ever-increasing bliss. Through this bliss, we can become entirely happy and content. We become unconditionally excited meaning that we’re so glad all the time despite other circumstances in our life. You won’t have to search out for happiness anymore. You’ll always have it with you instead. ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/wwm8p97mtu.jpg) Look how happy he is. Proof that you don’t need much to be happy. Therefore, the path of inner contentment will always bring more happiness than the path of greed and materialism.
