title$RISE - A true futuristic coin worth the investment
bodyI enjoy buying and getting to know many different types of cryptocurrencies, especially those with practicality and usefulness. Rise is one of those coins. I enjoy RISE because it is not overhyped. Many coins advertise an ecosystem, but RISE delivers on the ecosystem promise. One of the best parts about this coin is that it is a fixed supply for 5 years. It gradually increases each year. At the end of 5 years, the ecosystem will rely on transaction fees only. This is really good news because it shows a ramp up period where RISE adoption can occur en masse. I am most excited about Rise not just for the future price potential, but the DPoS rewards (delegated proof of stake by 101 delegates), and the smart contract builder. It offers a cheaper alternative to Ethereum, in a sense. i was waiting for the price of Rise to go down a bit to buy more, but it seems like every time I do that, there is a pump. It comes when I least expect it. This is good news for hodlers and traders alike. This year, we have seen steady growth on Rise. Rise is definitely here to stay, in my opinion. They are always adding new devs and features to the project, and they continue to innovate and add to the ecosystem. Keep your eyes on the RISE! https://Rise.Vision Joopius

titleInnovation in the Contact Center: Where to Start
bodyMobile, omnichannel, AI, integrated CRM, analytics -- with the universe of contact center technologies rapidly expanding in every dimension, decision-makers may find it challenging to know where to focus their attention and investments. Which areas are critical for delivering a good customer experience? Which can be implemented without disrupting operations? Which will help boost agent productivity? Which can you ignore until the technology matures or better suits your business strategy? By looking at both the areas of technological innovation and their impact on the customer experience, contact center leaders can develop a clearer picture of which areas will be most beneficial to their business goals. Here’s a round-up of a few Technologies Transforming the Contact Center. Most organizations looking to transition to a next-generation contact center, enhance agent productivity, and improve the customer experience will look for solutions that incorporate several of these innovations. **Cloud-based infrastructure:** Cloud-based contact centers have numerous benefits, including greater flexibility, simplified integration, and plenty of room for growth. With less on-premise equipment to maintain and on-the-fly software upgrades, IT costs decrease and reliability improves. **AI-enabled bots** and intelligent virtual agents (IVAs): Providing a way to serve customers better, bots and other non-human points of contact offer two benefits. First, they enable a higher level of self-service, allowing more forms of customer engagement, and second, they can offload many routine inquiries, freeing valuable live agent resources to focus on more complex interactions. **Knowledge management:** The advancement of AI has stimulated new innovations in how knowledge management (KM) is defined and used in the modern contact center. Beyond searchable content or forums, KM can also empower agents by providing real-time access to subject matter experts and best practices. With access to robust KM systems, agents can solve customer problems faster and more accurately. **Speech analytics:** Gathering customer information provides key insights into contact center performance and operations. The most innovative contact center solutions use speech analytics to help route inquiries and provide immediate feedback to agents and managers, resulting in higher quality customer interactions. Other innovations, such as voice biometrics, customer journey analytics, and gamification, also have merits for certain contact center uses. The best place for contact center leaders to start is to have a clear understanding of their organization’s unique business goals and needs, and then evaluate the innovations that promise the most benefits.

titleCryptocurrency use in omnichannel contact centers
bodyI work in the field of deploying global contact center solutions. We have several large clients in areas like Japan. How can we implement cryptocurrencies in their contact center? A few ideas I had been thinking of are around a few key ideas: identity, payments, transaction records, recording. **Identity** Each "coin" or token on the blockchain is unique, and therefore, one user can have access to one specific bit that is their identity. When someone initiates a transaction for assistance from a contact center agent, the serial number of that bit can be read, and identity of that person can be established. The agent receives a screen pop with the client information. **Payments ** There was recently a huge story that IBM is partnering with Stellar for payments. This is very cool and big news! This means that there are real world use cases for settling payments using cryptocurrency. Payments in the contact center can be fast and instant. If someone is called outbound and connected with a sales rep, a person can settle a payment over the phone or with a mobile app. Speaking of mobile app, if a mobile app is used, voice, video, and chat channels can all be a part of the mobile app to connect with support reps! **Transaction Records** Cryptocurrency makes it simple to record whom interacted with whom, and keep a public record of a transaction. It can be as follows: Person A is customer Person B is agent IVR is segment C Person A will be identified by public key in a micro transaction Micro transaction goes to person B, the agent. Person B brings C on the phone/chat/SMS Person A sends QR code to make a payment to C with B's assistance. All is recorded in the blockchain, which can be read in a portal for historical record purposes. It is secured because the identity of the hashes is unknown, but could be translated in a portal. **Recording** Recording or transcript could be available and stored in the blockchain, and encrypted by a key. This way only people with access to the portal can read he identities. If anyone is interested in talking about a project like this, please reach out to me on twitter: solutions_engi Cheers, Nick

title$BNB BINANCE Coin: A Noob's Guide
bodyBINANCE Is one of the Premier Cryptocurrency Exchanges in the world. It has seen unprecedented growth since July 2017. ![binance](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ldh8ZH1Plkc/hqdefault.jpg) What's really cool about Binance is that they have their own ERC20 Token called Binance coin. When you buy it, you feel like you own a bit of the exchange.. That's because you do! In that way, it functions similarly to a publically held company would when investors buy stock in that company. The growth they have seen has been phenomenal. They ramped up in July 2017 and have quickly found themselves in the top ten. The reason I get excited about this coin is because it's not just cool and unique, but has real-world applications and uses within the exchange. **Use for fees** Not only can you buy $BNB on Binance, but you can also use it as a "coupon" for your trading fees. Trading fees also happen to be a lot lower on Binance since they are trying to stay competitive. Still, it's an excellent value, and they seem to be adding, on average, one coin every 1-2 days lately. I don't think I have paid any withdrawal fees, either. **Smart contracts** Built on the Ethereum platform, smart contracts can be created and executed using BNB. This might open up the door for margin trading down the road. **BNB Supply** Binance will also, every quarter, use 20% of their profits to buy BNB and destroy them. This adds value to other coins that people are holding. This is great because they will decrease the supply and increase the demand for the coin by increasing its application. **Conclusion** BNB is an excellent value right now. If you are searching for a long term hold, it's definitely one you should keep on the radar. Seems like there are a few coins out there that will decrease the supply, or do a reverse split, in order to reduce supply and increase demand and add value to their coins. It's an interesting trend to watch as things move forward. There will likely be other uses on Binance exchange in the future with their token that we haven't even thought of yet. It will be great to see the exchange and the token grow! *Note: Always do your own research before you invest in cryptocurrency.*

title$RISE Vision Delegated Proof-of-Stake: A Noob's Guide
bodyWhat is RISE? RISE is a Delegated Proof-of-Stake Cryptocurrency. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSKRkP95vp8oUb4xXUAYpy4K7RsCfV2c1WnLi2NYspuQx/image.png) There are 101 delegates that hold 450,000 RISE and run forging pools to 'mint' new coins. People who vote for the delegate will receive payouts. The idea is that if you are a delegate, you will forge new coins. The more voting power you have, the more coins you will mint as a delegate. Non-delegates will vote for delegates in the top 101. By voting, they will receive a share of RISE every so often as a payout. It's good practice to talk to your delegate in the RISE Vision slack. It's not just picking and choosing a delegate at random, but as a voter, you want to be sure and choose a delegate that will actually pay you out! RISE is also a user-friendly application development platform! According to their site at http://rise.vision/, >"The RISE SDKs support multiple popular code languages such as Javascript, Python, C#, Ruby and JAVA. RISE wants to bring basic Decentralized Apps (DAPPs) and Smart Contract creation within the reach of everyone, not just skilled developers, through user-friendly graphical user interfaces and drag-and-drop type building tools." With Ethereum, for example, smart contracts must be executed using code. Rise will provide a Smart Contract builder to layer on top of that. RISE is aiming to create an ecosystem for smart contracts, applications, payments, and more. At 115 million coin cap, it has low enough volume where anything under 50 cents will be a good price to buy RISE. Today the block reward is 15 RISE per block, and will decrease along with an annual percentage of inflation. After 5 years, the block reward will become 0 Rise per block and 0 inflation, and transaction fees alone will sustain the network. It's a unique and different idea that makes the project very compelling. Not to mention the community involved with RISE and the development team. There are other PoS coins out there, Blackcoin is one of my favorites, but it seems like RISE offers a lot more than all of the rest out there! RISE has been adding to the team lately, and I'm very excited to see their progress in the coming months! title$XVG Verge currency: A Noob's Guide
bodyVerge has quickly become a very desirable currency in the crypto world. ![verge](https://i.imgur.com/EPI5n8K.jpg) But what is it? Why should we care? This guide should help anyone who is curious about Verge. Verge is a currency centered around anonymity and privacy. By leveraging the Tor browser and I2P, one may browse the internet completely anonymously and privately. IP addresses are completely obfuscated and untraceable. Verge has one of the strongest developer communities there is. There are literally thousands of developers contributing to the project, roughly 8,000 worldwide. All development and marketing activities are done by community members! SPV(Simple Payment Verification) technology allows for lightning-fast transactions. In some cases, transactions can happen in a matter of seconds. There are a number of wallets to use on their web site, and it is a mineable coin as well. Many verge pools are listed at https://vergecurrency.com/pools/, Verge also uses different hashing algorithms such as Scrypt and x17. You can buy verge at several exchanges, including Binance! Check out https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/verge/#markets. Verge is a solid project, and I can't wait to see what the developers roll out in the coming months and years!!

title$XVG Verge currency: A Noob's Guide
bodyVerge has quickly become a very desirable currency in the crypto world. ![verge](https://i.imgur.com/EPI5n8K.jpg) But what is it? Why should we care? This guide should help anyone who is clueless about Verge. Many verge pools are listed ![here](https://vergecurrency.com/pools/), Verge also uses different hashing algorithms such as Scrypt and x17. You can buy verge at several exchanges, including Binance! Check out ![this link](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/verge/#markets). Verge is a solid project, and I can't wait to see what the developers roll out in the coming months and years!!

titleThe Future of Cryptocurrencies
bodyThere have been many articles and high-profile people speaking out lately about cryptocurrencies. Tony Robbins, for example, stated recently that Bitcoin is “Iffy” and that it should be equated to gambling in Las Vegas. Whether or not you agree with that statement, it is something to think about. Is it like gambling? The year 1976 saw the birth of two companies: Microsoft and Apple. Two rivals that defined the computer industry. At that time, what those two companies were doing was extremely cutting-edge and innovative. Most people had not ever seen or used a computer personally before, much less did they own one. The goal was to bring a computer into every home when such a concept was nowhere near mainstream. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs saw what others did not: opportunity. They started working on building something they believed in and saw as the future, granted, in two very different ways. Cryptocurrency investors follow a similar philosophy. There are many projects in existence; as an investor, it can be difficult to discern which are the best, which will be successful, which are scams, and which ones will fail. The philosophy of these investors is speculative in the sense that they believe that cryptocurrencies do, in fact, have a future; however, the question is, which ones will still be around in a few years? Why is crypto here to stay? Money has been around for thousands of years, in many forms, and across many civilizations. The technology of the past 100 years has accelerated our growth as a species. Computers and technology dominate everything we do these days, it was only a matter of time where technology caught up to something we all use universally. It’s not just about the value and payment systems that crypto projects provide, but rather the sheer diversity in the way such value is provided to stakeholders of the coin, and of teams involved with crypto projects. In reference to the birth of computers, as described earlier, computers very much started out as a “homebrew” culture in California. People would get together and meet about how to build new electronics, exchange ideas, learn about new and great technology. Crypto is a rebirth of that computer world, and we are still only in the 1970’s. As a side note, mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency was further illustrated for me personally when I was on a flight and I saw a commercial on the headrest TV for DASH. If you’re interested in the video, it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0oNO3mbBE8 Cryptocurrencies are so new that we would need to consider them as something that is generally known about, but not widely used. We are still in the early adopter phase heading into the Early Majority phase. More people are starting to recognize the value in cryptography and different projects that exist. Of course, since we are in the 1970’s of crypto, it would only make sense that this is the early part of the Technology Adoption Curve. ![image](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/45/DiffusionOfInnovation.png) Looking at the top 100 coins, I am reasonably familiar with roughly half of them. These coins are changing spots from time to time, and in some cases, quite rapidly as a new coin is released or there is an announcement. Each coin people can invest in has specific unique factors to the project that make it more appealing. In the end, it is not unlike investing in someone’s company and idea. For example, on Binance, there is a token called BNB. BNB is a ERC20 token that will hold value as part of investment in the exchange, as well as potential purposes in the future. It is a unique idea and concept at the moment, and it has so far been very successful. There are two main reasons I like this coin. The first is, by holding BNB, you have invested in the exchange itself. Second, since BNB is an ERC token, there are many other potential use cases that can be imagined from that scenario, (hint: smart contracts). As it stands now, my favorite way of investing in new cryptocurrency projects is to use an exchange. My new favorite exchange is Binance. If you have not signed up, you may want to check them out. Binance has the best mobile interface and apps on the market today. You can tell they have taken the time to define a great user experience when it comes to professional cryptocurrency trading. Binance is a world-class cryptocurrency exchange ranked #8 in the top 10 list of exchanges by volume, with over $70 million transacted daily. www.binance.com Note: Author invests in cryptocurrency and the above text is not to be considered investment advice.

titleThe Future of Cryptocurrencies
bodyThere have been many articles and high-profile people speaking out lately about cryptocurrencies. Looking at the top 100 coins, I am reasonably familiar with roughly half of them. Second, since BNB is an ERC token, there are many other potential use cases that can be imagined from that scenario. As it stands now, my personal favorite way of investing in new cryptocurrency projects is to use an exchange.
