La rebeldía y la falta de respeto cada vez van en aumento. La voz de los padres ya no es escuchada en muchos hogares. Los profesores con angustia dicen que ya no tienen autoridad sobre sus alumnos. Los ancianos ya nos son tratados con respeto. El marido tal parece que ha dejado de ser cabeza de la mujer. Tal parece que desde el más joven hasta el más adulto se han vuelto respondones y pleitistas. Sin embargo, Dios quiere tomar a esta gente difícil y transformarlas en la clase de gente que Él quiere. Dios quiere cambiar a la familia para que sea la clase de familia que Él anhela. Y para esto Dios ha dejado un modelo, un plan a seguir para la familia.\n\n## 1- Familia que ora unida permanece unida:\n\nEste principio espiritual lo vemos en muchas familias a través de los años. La oración al interior del seno familiar es un factor de cambio muy importante, que ayuda a superar los momentos difíciles. Es necesario que los hijos vean rezar a sus padres en el hogar. “Si ve a sus padres rezar sin prisas, quedarse en silencio, cerrar los ojos y ponerse de rodillas, los niños captan intuitivamente la importancia de esos momentos y perciben la presencia de Dios en el hogar”. \n\nEs vital que se haga con devoción, que no se limite a las palabras, sino que se transforme en hechos y testimonios de fe”, los niños aprenden a orar rezando con sus padres, por lo cual hay que hacerlos participar en la oración, que aprendan a hacer los gestos, a repetir algunas fórmulas sencillas, algún canto, a estar en silencio hablando a Dios. \n\nJesucristo nos enseñó que \"cuando hay dos o tres congregados en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos\" (Mateo 17,19). \nAlabar a Dios, darle gracias y pedirle sus dones forma parte esencial de la vida de una familia cristiana.\nDios quiere una unidad derivada de El. Es por eso que Pablo amonesta a la iglesia a ser uno (1 Corintios 1:10) Y es por eso también que Jesús enseña que el marido y la esposa son una sola carne. (Mateo 19:5) Si tan sólo aplicáramos este concepto de Dios en nosotros mismos, no habría divisiones en las iglesias, ni divorcios en los matrimonios, ni hijos pródigos en las familias. Salomón dijo una gran verdad: “Camina en su integridad el justo; Sus hijos son dichosos después de él.” (Proverbios 20:7) Esta es la consecuencia positiva en sus hijos de los que vivieron con justicia. Los padres que viven una doble vida, una en la iglesia y otra en su casa, no influenciaran positivamente a sus hijos. Es posible que los hijos nunca se conviertan o si se convierten seguirán los pasos de sus padres, un cristianismo superficial.\nEl Dr. James Dobson dijo: “Las huellas que un hijo siga, es probable que sean aquellas que sus padres trataron de ocultar” \n\nNo hay otra manera de hacerlo, Moisés ya lo dijo: “y estas palabras, que les estoy mandando hoy, estarán en su corazón” Las palabras de Dios tienen que ser parte de la vida de los padres. Los padres deben vivir de acuerdo a los principios bíblicos para poder ayudar más efectivamente a los hijos. Tener la palabra de Dios en nuestro corazón significa: leer, estudiarla, meditarla y por supuesto aplicarla cada día. Dios sabe que de la “abundancia del corazón habla la boca” (Mateo 12:34) y también sabe que solo el corazón puede convencer al corazón.\n\n## 3-\tPara ser bendecidos en prosperidad y éxito:\n\n(Salmo 127:1-2:) \"Si Jehová no edificare la casa, en vano trabajan los que la edifican; Si Jehová no guardare la ciudad, en vano vela la guardia\".\n\"Por demás es que os levantéis de madrugada, y vayáis tarde a reposar, y que comáis pan de dolores; Pues que a su amado dará Dios el sueño\".\nDespués de considerar estas cosas, ¿no es necesario orar a Dios para prosperar y tener éxito en sus llamados? La oración y el duro trabajo deberían fomentar aquello que es su objetivo. Orar y no hacer las obras de sus llamados sería esperar provisiones mientras son negligentes.
