Currently, it sits at ~55% of my portfolio due to nearly tripling in marketcap over the last few days.\nYou can take a look at my last post to see a few reasons why I was bullish on this coin back then; nothing has occurred to change any of the points I laid out in the previous post. If anything, the developers are constantly overperforming. Quick rundown of what I've seen recently from them:\n\n* **Development**\n  * Fast. As an amateur developer, I generally understand how long development *should* take and if the team is working hard or not. The elixir team of two developers have not only laid out an extremely optimistic timeline, but also have adhered to it thus far.\n  * Flexible. The developers have a grand vision in mind, but are willing to adjust when faced with issues. They not only adjust, they also expand their goals. For example, introduction of a conversion token and/or recent development of a token manager that enables Elixir to become a protocol for lending. \n  * Focused. Every week. Development update with *progress* showing. Not just an update for the sake of posting an update.\n* **Marketing**\n  * Devs are using twitter more and more to broadcast their announcements and updates.\n  * Still lacking some in this area, but luckily they have individuals like me who enjoy learning/writing about crypto.\n* **Reliability**\n  * Devs show a start-up like devotion to their project. The dedication and self-sacrifice that comes from growing your own small idea over months, years should not be overlooked. I'm confident that, in their minds, the devs are just scratching the surface of what they can build. From my observations, this was due to -> \npump: a sudden wave of \"shilling\" + increase in exposure \ndump: panic + misunderstanding of elixir's batch generation and lending rewards algorithms \n\nBut I would like to offer a rebuttal to the perception of elixir being a \"shitcoin.\" It has a few glaring flaws (anonymous team, etc.), but it has gained enough of my trust to amount to 35% of my portfolio (ATM) for a few reasons.\n\n1) A practical idea that can reach the general public. They understand the power of incentivizing a coin's use. Complex back end, Easy to understand front end.\n-> This caught my attention first.\n\n2) The developer/developers did not fund through an ICO (they had the support to do an ICO), instead opted to do an airdrop.\n-> Showed intelligent process (not overvaluing their project from the start instead growing slowly) and dedication to the project.\n\n3) Made sure not to drop their previous project (timereum) but instead allow their previous investors to turn their TME into ELIX. \n-> Showed loyalty to investors and integrity.\n\n4) Built project on developer's social, technical, marketing skills (mostly on bitcoin forum). Well-coded website, pleasant design scheme and product. \n-> Showed that they are technically skilled and are capable of developing their product.\n\n5) #1 cryptocurrency so far in addressing public concerns, although they're so new it would be fine for them to funnel all work into their MVP (as they probably foresaw at this point in time). Not that they don't enjoy the publicity, but by observing their past actions: no ICO and anonymity (until MVP is released). It seems that they are pleasantly surprised by this sudden increase in exposure and adjusting accordingly. \n\nExample 1 - Sudden questions due to a twitter post suggesting misconceptions about the coins total circulating supply appear.
