      "body": "Akshay Kumar Biography Akshay Kumar (real name Rajiv Hariom Bhatia ) was born on September 9, 1967, in the city of Amritsar (Punjab). Akshay 's father was an officer. From early childhood, Kumar loved to dance and perform in front of the audience. Akshay ’s childhood passed in one of the oldest and most vibrant areas of Old Delhi - Chandni Chowk. Akshay later moved to Mumbai. Akshay received his school education at the Don Bosco school, after which he entered Khalsa College, where he became interested in martial arts. After studying for a year, Akshay dropped out of college and left for Bangkok, where he devoted himself completely to martial arts. In Thailand, Akshay moonlighted as a waiter and devoted all his free time to Thai boxing. Returning to Mumbai, Kumar began teaching martial arts. One of Akshay's students - a novice photographer - recommended him to engage in the modeling business. Akshay decided to try and, having made himself a portfolio, he began to work as a model. Later, Kumar began acting in extras of various Indian films. In 1991, Akshay made his debut in Raj N. Sippy 's film \" The Oath \", in which he played the main role.
