| body | Before I blow your mind with my metaphysical hot-takes, I’m going to tell you a story that comes from India circa a few hundred years before Christ. There once was king named Bhartriji. He was a great king and under his rule the kingdom flourished. He was such a great king that one of his subjects decided to present with a special a gift; a flower that if eaten, would bestow eternal life. Bhartriji was grateful for this gift. He seriously considered eating it himself but decided that it was too good for him. Instead, he gave it to his wife, the person that he loved and cherished more than anyone else in the world. His wife was grateful for gift. But after giving it some thought, she decided that it was too good for her and gave it to her lover. Her lover also decided that it was too good for him and decided to give it to someone else. And on and on it went until eventually it made its way back to the king. This was how Bhartriji discovered that his wife had betrayed him. He was so upset that he rejected all of his earthly responsibilities, ate the flower and went off into the forest. After hundreds of years of living in the forest, spending his days meditating under a tree, he decided to return to his former kingdom. When he returned he told the people there to dig a hole six feet deep, bury him in the hole, and encase the tomb in concrete. I can’t say exactly how that conversation went but eventually he convinced them. So they dug the hole, buried him alive, encased the tomb in concrete and left him there. You can imagine their surprise when 106 years later, Bhartriji walked into town. He went to the same spot where had been buried and told the people there to dig another hole right next to the original grave which was exactly as they had left it a century ago, bury him in there alive, and encase the tomb in concrete. They probably required less convincing this time around. 106 year later, he shows up again and tells the people to bury him again, right next to the other two graves which were still untouched. He kept coming back every 106 years (nobody knows how) with the same instructions and today his 7 graves sit side-by-side. Each of them unmolested, unopened, and undisturbed. His last burial was in 2006. A festival is held in his honor every year during the September new moon. I’m going to go there myself and update this post once I’ve seen Bhartriji’s seven graves myself. If I’m lucky enough to get my hands on a flower of life, I’ll be there to witness the seventh burial in 2110. As a reader whose beliefs are formed by Western influences, you probably think this story is bullshit because immortality is a foreign concept to Western cultures. The eastern scriptures have plenty of references to immortals but the Western scriptures only have four: Melchizedek, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The high success rates of producing immortals in eastern cultures is said to be due to all the yoga and meditation. There are so many immortals roaming the forests and mountains in that region that you can’t go for a walk in the woods without tripping over a naked immortal yogi. Rumour has it that there are entire tribes of immortal monks chilling in the Himalayas, laughing at all the climbers who need gear just to reach them. Anyway, I promised you some hot-takes so here they are:
1. You’ve probably been offered a shot at immortality and you passed
As seen at the beginning of the story, the gift of immortal life passed through many hands before it got back to someone who had the balls to take it for himself. Who knows how many more hands it passed through before it got to him the first time. You’re probably thinking that you would remember if someone presented you with such a gift and I can give your at least one example; Jesus Christ. This guy presented a whole manual on how you can live eternally on earth here and now and people decided that they would rather be sinners. Christians looked at the guide, decided that the Laws of Life are too hard to follow, and turned him into an idol to be worshiped rather than an example to be followed.
2. Immortality is Boring
Bhartriji was so bored after centuries of meditating in the forest that he decided to show up in his old hood every hundred years or so and fuck and with people’s heads. Hip-Hop heads will notice that he broke a vital rule of success: once you’ve made it out of the hood, never go back or you’ll end up six feet under.
3. Immortals don’t hang out with regular folk
Imagine that you’re chilling in corner of the house, meditating peacefully for weeks on end, and your roommate notices that you haven’t moved or eaten for a really long time. In fact, you’re so chill in your meditation that geckos are walking across your eyeballs. Or they walk in on you having a great night dancing with trans-dimensional beings that only you can see. You already know that shit’s gonna land you in a psyche ward which is why Bhartriji had no choice but to retire to the forest. The immortal monks chilling in the Himalayas aren’t just there for the great energy: they’re there because they know they are less likely to be disturbed by the normies.
4. Trust no one
Bhartriji was the greatest king that the kingdom had ever seen and his wife still cheated on him. Not being able to trust anyone is simply the reality of things, so you better come to grips with it before your end up abandoning the throne to go sit under a tree and sulk. Do not fear immortality my fellow normies, it is yours for the taking….if you really want it. “Being with you left me satisfied, Not ready to go to the other side.” - Your Immortal Lover. Recommended reading: Breaking the Death Habit, by Leanord Orr. |

Not being able to trust anyone is simply the reality of things, so you better come to grips with it before your end up abandoning the throne to go sit under a tree and sulk. \n\n\nDo not fear immortality my fellow normies, it is yours for the taking….if you really want it. \n\n\n“Being with you left me satisfied,\nNot ready to go to the other side.”\n-\tYour Immortal Lover. \n\n\nRecommended reading: Breaking the Death Habit, by Leanord Orr.",

| body | Do you know why a real man doesn’t hit a girl? Because she likes it. No woman will ever admit to this. The ones who have been through domestic violence issues will deny it with every part of their being but the hard truth is that there are parts of a woman’s brain that light up like a Christmas tree when a nigger goes postal on her. Objectively, she knows it is wrong to take delight in such a destructive act but there is no fighting biology. Another reason that they like a good rhino-charge is relationship security. Knowing that the man loses his cool for her lets her know that she has complete control over his emotions. She can flip him on and off like a switch and then brag about it to her friends saying: “Look! Look what I can make my man do!” While most women do their best not to encourage such barbaric behavior, there are other girls who go out of their way to push these buttons. A friend of a friend and his girlfriend had a domestic the other day. Plenty of blood, bruises and drama. A girl I was seeing at the time told me about it and I cannot remember her exact wording but her message was clear: “I want what she’s having." Once the shock wore off and I realized what she was asking for, I tried to explain to her that 1. I am way too emotionally stable to lose my cool like that (side-effects of excessive meditation), and 2. We do not have to trauma bond. That was not what she wanted to hear because apparently, nothing solidifies a relationship quite like a good domestic. I did not want to be a prude so I considered maybe coming to some kind of compromise. I figured I could role-play it and pretend to go postal (after she has signed the consent forms, of course) but I was not confident that I would be able to sell it. It would be like that scene in Endgame where the Avengers go back in time and Smart Hulk has to pretend to be Rage Hulk. The idea was abandoned but I made a mental note to be taking a bigger wind-up when I smack her ass. As much as I’d like to berate women for getting off on such depraved shit, I understand why they feel this way. Women need to feel a man’s masculine energy and if she is not feeling her man’s raw masculinity, she will poke his buttons until he explodes. How you deal with your woman in this situation will define your character as a man. If you doubt that they are actually enjoying themselves, really listen the next time a woman gives you her DV story. Look for the excitement in her eyes and the elevation of her tone. Does she sound like she’s describing a horrible event or her favorite ice cream? One woman even told me how she was flitting in and out of consciousness while the blows rained and she sounded like she was describing the best roller-coaster she had ever been on. Whooping a bitch is convenient for some men, but for others hitting his woman feels like keying his own car just because it won’t start. It will make him feel better in the short run but it will not keep her from repeating the action. If anything, it will make her do it again because she is secretly getting off on it. A different form of discipline is required. I suggest taking your rage out on her cervix because she won’t be able to give you grief if she’s walking around seeing butterflies and rainbows everywhere. You may want to hit her with some of those ‘pre-emptive strokes’ as well to keep her in a permanent state of dick-dizzy. This works because a dick-dizzy woman is the most pleasant thing in the world. Every time she is about to act up, she remembers what you did her ass the other night and calms all the way back down. This method only works if your digging stick can reach all the way to the back. My fellow Kings, if dicking her down is not calming her uterus demons then you’ll either have to bring in a big-dicked professional or take the nuclear option and walk away. Walking away is the nuclear option because there is nothing you can do to hurt a woman more than taking away your love and attention. There is no punch, headbutt, or whipping you can deliver that will do more damage to your woman’s psyche than ignoring her. Bruises will heal but the open wound of being ostracized will never heal and she will do everything in her power to stay as far away from you as possible. You’ll lose the girl but you won’t have to spend a night in a cell or suffer the eternal label of “wife-beater”. She will also 100% use that incident against you when she decides to destroy you before moving on to the next fool she can control. The problem with being a wife-beater is not that you would damage something so delicate as a woman, because we all know that there are times when she is literally asking for it, but that you reveal yourself as a man who cannot keep his cool under pressure and such man a is a liability in times of crisis. Doesn’t matter if she’s in your car, in your house, or if she’s carrying your spawn; just walk the fuck away. Run if you have to. In completely unrelated news, I have been invited to Manchester United to deliver a talk entitled: “How to Handle Bitches Now that You Have Money”. We will be discussing hot topics such as How to Append Kinks Into Consent Forms, and How To Hide Your Assets in Crypto. Special Guest Appearance by Achraf Hakimi’s mum. |

| body | A friend of mine told me a story of how he was stabbed in the chest and neck. He’s lucky he’s such a beefy ma’fucka otherwise he would have been dead. The reason for his near-death experience; trying to save some hoes from their own stupidity. Women lie. Any man who interacts with women whether it is in personal, business or family relations must accept this universal fact or get shafted every single time. In the words of the Immortal Roissy from Chateau Heartiste: “If a woman has anything to gain from telling a lie rather than the truth, then she will lie every single time.” Honor, honesty, reliability and integrity are masculine virtues. Women have no need for this things therefore if you have a woman in your life who tells the truth and sticks to it, then she is the exception that makes the rule. Hold on to that one. Before I get into the details of my friend’s story, I am going to share with you some of my own interactions with hoes in distress so that you can see that Captain Save-A-Hoe is not only a danger to himself, but also a danger to the men around him. The first time was at a rave. I was minding my own business in the crowd, vybing to the music like a trans-dimensional space goat, when a girl’s hip bumped into my hand. She was quite short, and I tend to keep my head up, so please believe me when I say that I had not even consciously registered her existence up to this point. I was not pleased at having been brought back to this reality so abruptly. On a more sober day I would have just given her a tight smile and gone back to whatever dimension I was in but on this particular day I had been having gin. There’s something about gin makes me an angry person so I gave her a death glare instead. I think I must have scared her because that is the only way I can explain her next action. She leaned over to the guy standing next to her and said something that activated his inner Kinuthia. This was it. This was his big chance to save her from the cruel world and possibly get a blowjob for his efforts. He looked at me and saw a short skinny guy that he thought he could roll over for some easy points. So the joker comes at me, telling me not to touch her. I could see what was going on here. Sneaky bitch was trying to make it look like I was sneaking feels. I will not pretend to be above such shenanigans however that was not the case here. Sober me would have calmly explained that she was in fact “full of shit,” and carried on as I was but gin makes me aggressive so nilienda na kifua. He decided to throw hands and the training that I had received from Master Ndungu on the balcony at Westpointe kicked in. I deflected his attempted shove in my chest with “wipe-the-windows” from Karate Kid and then countered with a left hook to the ribs and a straight to the face. It was a beautiful, fluid motion that sent him sprawling. Unfortunately, the bouncer had seen everything and politely asked me to leave. Yeah, I had “won” the fight but my rave was over and Kinuthia would have a black eye for a week. All over some bullshit. My next interaction was less dramatic. Once again I was skipping dimensions while standing on the dancefloor and a woman walks up and stands right next to me. She was a large woman and it was a packed club so it was not that surprising that parts of her were rubbing up on my forearm. I allowed it, until I heard her telling the people in her group that I kept touching her. Thankfully, the guys in her group chose to ignore her. Either they were either red-pill aware or she was not hot enough to activate the Kinuthias within. Eventually, I got fed up with her energy and went to stand somewhere else. Imagine how differently things could have gone if they decided to save a hoe? My friend got stabbed thanks to a similar interaction. He was at a rave and a girl that he kinda somehow knew told him that some guy was harassing her. If she was genuinely feeling threatened by this guy, why did she not go to the bouncer? 1. Because bouncers deal with drunk chicks every week and are wise to their bullshit, and 2. Because there is a sadistic game some women like to play called “Let’s You and Him Fight” and it is much more interesting. So my friend morphs into full Kinuthia and decides to confront the guy. The accused in this case was a Somali Guy and I hate to sound racist, but those guys are not known for keeping their cool. Things looked like they were going to escalate into a fight and the Somali guy bolted. Basking in the glory of the service that he had just provided to womankind, my friend went about the rest of the night dreaming about the really tight hug that he would maybe get as a thank you. When my friend left the club, he found the accused waiting for him outside. A fight started, and my friend was clobbering the asshole but Somali Guy had backup. While my boy smashed the accused’s head in, the backup stabbed my friend twice. Once below the heart, and once where neck meets shoulder. Champ didn’t even feel it. He didn’t even know anything was wrong until someone else pointed out that he was bleeding. Like, a lot. Pieces of flesh were hanging off him. They rushed him to the nearest hospital to get stitched up, and he was stuck with six weeks of recovery on top of a hospital bill worth a quarter of a million bobs. All this bullshit over some bitches who probably did not even send him a get-well-soon card. My learned gentlemen, the moral of this story is quite simple: When you feel Kinuthia activating, LET HER DROWN. *If you recognize yourself as ‘my friend’ in this tale, I am sorry for co-opting your story. Also, thank you for reading. |

| body | A friend of mine told me a story of how he was stabbed in the chest and neck. My friend got stabbed thanks to a similar interaction. | body |
Another ten years of novels, another ten years of exploring the depths of other people's minds. Here's a list of the books which tickled Journeyman's imagination more than any others in the 2010s. Pingchowah!

1Q84 - Haruki Murakami

A Japanese assassin looks up to the sky and notices that there are two moons up there. Rather than accepting the fact that she’s going crazy, she decides that she has crossed over into another world for the explicit purpose of taking down a religious cult that worships clone-making fairies that spawn from the mouths of dead goats. If you thought that I was talking about Orwell’s 1984 then you have earned yourself, yet another, smack-across-face-with-a-hardcover-copy-of-Pride-&-Prejudice. They will be handed out by trained, beefy librarians in bookstores worldwide by the end of the year.

Red Rising – Pierce Brown

Interplanetary warfare with a big helping of class warfare. The blue-eyed blonds are at the top of this food chain, of course, but I’ll commend Brown for keeping the blacks relatively high on the racial ladder and leaving the gingers at the bottom. The lead character is one of these gingers who decides to dip his toes into the world of solar warfare after getting an extreme makeover. He’s motivated by the fact that his fiancé was executed for singing a song. I’ll do a lot for the love of my life, but toppling a 1000-year-old regime run by 10-foot-tall aristocrats who send their kids to murder-school seems a bit extreme.

Fates & Furies – Lauren Groff

Thank you Groff for showing the world what love is really like. It’s hard, it’s painful and it makes you question your will to live but when it comes down to it, love is what holds you down. Anti-romance at its best, told from the perspective of each lover.

The Century Trilogy - Ken Follett

Anyone with a television knows the basics of what went down in the 1900s. WWI, WWII, the atom bomb, white presidents with black mistresses, having to choose between university education and going abroad to kill random people, shotgun weddings after impregnating the boss’ daughter, and learning to survive on nothing but potatoes and vodka. A lot can happen in 100 years. Ken Follett knows way too much about what happened in the past. Is he a diligent researcher, or the immortal author?

The Book of Pook - Pook

The best books come at the best times. This book came into my life when I was feeling a scarcity of love and Pook reminded me about the abundance all around us. Getting girls is easy, especially when they’re not the focus. Racking up notches is fun, until you stop enjoying the process.

The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives - Lola Shenoyin

This guy had 11 kids from 3 different wives and it wasn’t until his fourth wife failed to quicken when the learned how none of the kids were actually his. #TeamDNATest

Fire & Blood – George R. R. Martin

Enough incest and dragon fire to satisfy your dark urges. The contents of this book are taken from the first-hand accounts of a wiseman and a fool. The fool’s version is colorful, but the wiseman’s stinks of ass-kissing. I’d probably do the same if the people I’m talking about keep fire-breathing geckos for pets.

50 Shades (of whatever) - E.L. James

I still haven’t read it, but anything that can simultaneously turn on this many women all over the world deserves an honorable mention.

The Grand Tour - Ben Bova

I want a spaceship. Atmo-rated and nuclear-powered because having a nuclear reactor inside is the only way to make sure that it won’t be shot down. The first place I’m going is Jupiter to find out what it’s like in that massive ocean. Yes, my spaceship will somehow be able to withstand the crushing pressure. Don’t ask me how; it’s space-magic. The next stop is the planet of the space-babes. Gotta spread that seed ;)

Pranic Nourishment - Jasmuheen

How much faith do you have in the internet? If you heard about a certain group of people who do not require any food or water at all, and their bodies function even better as a result, would you believe them? Well, they don’t care whether you believe them or not. They claim to live on love, light, sunshine and air. Fuck it, if a plant can convert sunshine into energy, then so can I.

NB- This is not a guide on what books to read. Journeyman will not be responsible for any consciosness-expanding side-effects that may result from heavy reading.

Are you enjoying the content on Steemit? I’d probably do the same if the people I’m talking about keep fire-breathing geckos for pets.\n
\n
\n\n
50 Shades (of whatever) - E.L. \n\nThe next stop is the planet of the space-babes. Gotta spread that seed ;)\n
\n
\n\n
Pranic Nourishment - Jasmuheen
\n
\n\n\n\n
\nHow much faith do you have in the internet? If you heard about a certain group of people who do not require any food or water at all, and their bodies function even better as a result, would you believe them? Well, they don’t care whether you believe them or not.\n\nThey claim to live on love, light, sunshine and air. Fuck it, if a plant can convert sunshine into energy, then so can I.\n\n\n\n
\n
\n\nNB- This is not a guide on what books to read. | memo | Greetings kriskabiru! We're messaging you to inform you about some important changes we have introduced to our delegation model. You might have already noticed a downward trend in revenue over the last couple of days, which originated from HF21 & EiP and its effect on the ecosystem. There is a new word floating around: #NewSteem, which is a symbol to re-create our beloved blockchain. And in this spirit, after a long thought process, we came to the conclusion to stop the promotion service with @smartsteem and switch over to manual curation. Our goal with this is to attract skilled and valuable people to Steem and to retain them here, which ultimately should have a net-positive on Steem in general. Now, here is the important part, that you want to know about: we've changed the revenue model from profit-sharing to distributing our own "token" called SmartPoints. For more detailed information on what SmartPoints are and what you can do with it, please head over to https://steemit.com/smartsteem/@smartsteem/introducing-smartpoints - If you want to keep your delegation, we would be thrilled, but we can also understand that you might want to undelegate or change the delegation. One of the ways you can do this is on our website: https://smartsteem.com/settings/delegation - With this said, we want to thank you for supporting Smartsteem with your delegation and wish you all the best, however you might choose to go forward! Sincerely, Team Smartsteem |
