But that's for another post. 🔑 \n\nIf you are trading or just generally scared of your sweet data getting stolen, as you should be. \nThen you need to consider stacking your browser with some extensions,\nthat can help your privacy and give you that extra layer of security.\nI've prepared a list of the ones I think is worth looking at. \nThere will be a short description of each of the extensions, \nkeep in mind that not all the extensions might be necessary,\nso pick the ones suited to you're use. 🔒\n\nThe only search engine I use is duckduckgo. (That you keep under your pillow)\nA couple of usernames is also a good idea.  🔓\n\n\n## Extensions:\n### HTTPS Everywhere:\n\nWhen you connect to a website using your browser, the browser will go trough an authentication process, usually with either HTTP or HTTPS. This extension enables an encrypted connection (HTTPS) where possible, witch makes it harder to monitor your activity or steal data. Not all websites support HTTPS, but this extension will try to connect with HTTPS by default. HTTPS has been noted to be a good detergent against \"man in the middle\" attack.\n\n(HTTPS: Hypertext Transfer Protocol)\n\nhttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/https-everywhere/gcbommkclmclpchllfjekcdonpmejbdp\nhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/https-everywhere/\n\n### Ghostery:\n\nAlmost every site nowadays uses some kind of tracking software to create custom ads based on your history, at least so they claim. *cough* \nGhostery gives you the ability to manage your trackers and lets you decide whom to block/unblock.\nThe trackers are categorized, witch makes for an easier selection of what to block/unblock.\n\nhttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ghostery-%E2%80%93-privacy-ad-blo/mlomiejdfkolichcflejclcbmpeaniij?hl=en\nhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery/\n\n### AdBlock\n\nHands down one of the best extensions, blocks banner ads, pop-up ads, etc, etc. It will block most ads you come across and you even have the option to disable third party cookies, scripts, website malware alert and more.\n\nhttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb?hl=no\nhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/\n\n### NoScript (FireFox) (https://steemitimages.com/50x50/https://steemitimages.com/DQmW6Qui99CrPYmALCjrgg5fEyTQoqsEGBRiWJoCgaBw2iu/NoScript.png)\n\nYou will be able to choose witch sites to trust and allow to run executable web content based on JavaScript, Java, Flash, Silverlight, and other plugins.  More and more sites rely on Java-script nowadays, and this has become a common way of injecting malware. NoScript gives you that extra countermeasure and offers different options to customize you security.\nId also like to mention that NoScript have received multiple awards.\n\nhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/\n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NoScript\n\n### uMatrix (Chrome)\nHands down one of the best extensions for Chrome, not only can you disable about every script, the level of customization makes most other extensions seem like second class.\n\nThis would be my number one pick to replace \"NoScript\" if you are using chrome. Some might even say that uMatrix is a superior extension, light, configurable, and comprehensive. Brought to you by the well established author/developer Gorhill, uMatrix has a GUI that makes every adjustment so simple compared to NoScript.\n\n(block ads, block scripts, block images, block/delete cookies, spoof UA)\n\nYou might want to consider this extension instead of AdBlock, \n###  Extra read: What Can You Do? 🔎\nFTC’s delegation of its implementation to the W3C, as well as the widespread industry decision to simply ignore it because they can, effectively killed it. But there are other options you can use to protect your privacy. Here are a few things you can do:\n\n1. Set your browser to reject third-party cookies. First-party cookies are from the websites you visit, and they can be very useful. Third-party cookies, however, come from advertisers and social networks, and are used to track you around the Internet.\n\n2. Opt out of as many tracking services as you can.       "body": "## Intro\n\nSo back in February I had an idea to do an  experiment, to see what it would be like to travel somewhere and pay for most of my expenses with trading. \n\nThe plan was simple enough, I would take 50% of the table from my biggest positions as needed and 80% from my day trades, from my math this should be sufficient to cover most of my expenses while at the same time make a big dent in my portfolio \"hehe\".\n\nAnyways, I had some business to take care of in Malaga, Spain, so this was an excellent opportunity to see if I could do it.\n\nThe experiment would show me, what it would be like to trade for a living, what the challenges can be and how I would handle them. \n\n### From the top of my head i had some questions in mind:\n\nWhat happens if the marked decides not move? \nWould my positions be different, now that I have some real pressure on me?\nCan I handle the emotions?\nCould this be a possible permanent future?\n\nSo for the next few weeks I will be posting my progress and make a little blog about my experience. I will not to a daily update and will not be sharing all of my trades, I will however share my thoughts on the crypto marked and some TA.\nI want to make this blog about the experience and my journey.\n\n## The First Update:\n\nI arrived in Spain about 4 days ago, its winter here and raining a lot. There is very little rain here throughout the year, so I'm guessing its a good thing. And from a Norwegians point of view this is like summer compared to back home, so I cant complain. \n\nCurrently I'm renting a flat in the part of town called La Malagueta, its about 50m from the beach and 100-200m to the center, in other words a really good spot to be.
