      "body": "March 29, 2017\n\nOne year ago today, I heard the most heartbreaking news of my life. \n\nI was sitting in front of you in a fast food chain. I was in cheerful aura but you were in your swollen eyes, deep breaths and heavy heart. I finished my meal having no clue of what you were going through. I thought it was just an ordinary bad day for you. \n\nYou held my hand. I clearly remember what happened that day. You placed my little palms on your cheeks. You sniffed and suddenly, your voice broke. I knew then that something was wrong. \n\nYou barely looked me straight in the eyes. I felt from within that sadness filled the atmosphere. With enough courage on my pocket, I began to ask why are you so sad. Then you began to cry. Tears flown as you held my hand tighter. You began kissing the top of my palm. \n\nYou told me you cannot say it with words. So you sent me a private message. We're next to each other yet we had to use our phones to connect our both worlds.\n\nYour message made me cry. From that moment, I checked upon your face to see if you're just giving me some stupid joke. I saw in your eyes that your words were real and subsequently, I saw my life, my dreams shattered in an instant. I saw the family we planned of right before my eyes. I saw how my dream travels dissolved. I saw myself losing sanity.\n\nWhenever I look back on those days when I had to deal with the thought of you leaving, it still breaks and continually breaks my heart.\n\nYou might read this one day and you might laugh at me because I have not yet recovered from those memories. It was really heartbreaking enough for me to accept it all. I am trying to move forward little by little. I am praying that for now, our paths will not cross again. A friend told me that she's going to South Korea. She asked me to come and I automatically said yes even though I was hesitant whether I can really afford the trip or not.\n\nIt was our first time to go out of the country so what we did was we hired a travel agency to help us plan our dream tour. We are thankful enough that we have met TravelM8 Express Co (https://www.travelm8express.com/). They provided us a  good offer for our Seoul Trip. It costed us Php. 26,990 or about $539 for the tour. \n\nThe $539.00 includes the following for 4Days, 3 Nights Trip:\n(1) The round trip airfare from Manila to Incheon, South Korea;\n(2) Terminal fees;\n(3) Hotel accommodation with daily breakfast at Mido Hotel;\n(4) City tour \n(5) Lunch and dinner during city tour\n\nEverything went smooth, as planned. We were lucky to have very accommodating tour guides for meeting all our expectations in our trip.\n\nSo a lot of people ask me very common questions and now I have to really answer.\n\n1. Is VISA required to visit Korea?\n\nYes, VISA is required. TravelM8 processed our Visa. I only paid them about $20.00 to do the processing for me. Whaat I only did was prepare the necessary documents for the Visa.\n\n2. What are the necessary documents for Korean VISA Application?\n\nOne (1) Passport size colored picture (34mm x 45mm)\nOriginal Passport (6 months valid)\nPhotocopy of Passport Bio-page\nOriginal Certificate of Employment, if employed\nPhotocopy of Business Registration and Business Permit, if self-employed\nOriginal Personal Bank Certificate issued by bank (NOT Bank Statement, NOT Passbook)\nPhotocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316\n[optional] Invitation Letter & Copy of inviter’s Passport, if invited by Korean resident.\n[optional] Invitation Letter & Copy of Korean Company Business Permit, if invited by Korean company.\n\nSince I am a government employee, I asked our National Office to secure me a copy of my Certificate of Employment. As stated above, ITR is required. \n\nI was hired only last February 2017 so the head office told me that I still don't have an ITR. What I did was, I wrote a personal letter addressed to the Embassy of Korea stating all my intentions to visit Korea and why I cannot produce a copy of my ITR. \n\nAs for the personal bank statement, I only had Php. 60,000 or $1200. I gradually deposit money on my passbook account. Prior my VISA Application, I was able to come up with the total amount. (Some says, you only need Php 50,000 for this.)\n\nTwo weeks after I submitted my requirements, I was informed by our agent that our single entry visa application was approved. The very best way to secure yourself an approved visa is to diligently comply with the requirements. It is also important to have a decent and good looking visa photo which you will be attaching to the application form. I had mine captured by a professional photographer. It gives the embassy officer an impression that you are on the elite group and you deserve a grant to visit South Korea.\n\nOther unexpected expenses:\n1. Visa Application Fee - I only paid $20 for my Visa Application. \n\n2. Additional Tour - I opted to add a tour to Nami Island, Elysis Ski Resort and Le Petit France. I was thinking that since i am already in Korea, I better visit all possible places. I paid $100 for the additional tour. It was worth every penny. The places I visited were too beautiful!\n\n3. Meals prior flight - I spent around $30-40 at the airport. Everything was expensive - from coffee down to fast food meals. To me, it is more than just a union of two people in love but a celebration of God's gift and blessings. To have someone to share your life with is probably one of the greatest things that the Heavens could ever give. You'll never be lonely for you have found your better half. \n\nJust today, I attended two weddings. Today was a real roller coaster of emotions. I was happy, terrified, overwhelmed, furious... I saw a friend took his vows to his bride. I saw how the bride responded with the same emotion. In deed, the best feeling in this world is the feeling of being in love.\n\nOnce upon a time, I was way too joyful of the idea of getting married. I must have done something good to deserve this person. I saw the future in his eyes. He's gonna be my husband, I'll wake up right next to him. He'll send the kids to school. He'll take good care of me. He'll share my hopes, my dreams, my fears, my joys, my triumphs, my failures. Right at that moment, I knew he was someone I wished to spend the rest of my life with. He then promised me the bond of marriage. I was hopeful of his promise.\n\nI started planning out my dream wedding... From the gown, to the venue, to the invitation card, to the wedding playlist. I started to ask questions why... I started to question love. I grew several doubts in my head. I looked at the bride as she takes her steps to the groom. I put myself on her shoes, I closed my eyes and felt the moment. My eyes started to blur because if I were her, I would have ran away from everyone else. \n\nIn an instant, I saw how my heart turned the opposite. I don't believe in love as much as I did. Marriage to me now is a little burden. How will I trust my life into someone I barely know? How sure am I if our love is forever? What if he leaves? What if he falls out of love? What if he finds someone else? \n\nI saw people come and go. People will leave you if your existence is not convenient for them anymore. The thought of tying the knot now scares me. It makes me really sad, so sad that I wish I would believe in love again after series of letting go's. I wish love would come and make me believe of its magic...again.\n\nFor now, marriage is my least priority.
