It was a refreshing return to normalcy. I miss it already. \n\nI’ve ventured once again into the Phoenix stores, to be “greeted“ by a bouncer, one making more than $100 a day to sit there and ask customers to put on a mask. We are paying for that.\n\nAt Whole Foods I nodded to the bouncer, who put down his book quickly and asked if I had a mask. I stopped, looked at him right in the eye and told him \n\n## I understand it is it is your store's policy to require masks. However I have a medical condition so I cannot wear one. \n\nHe paused, the wheels turning in his head. He looked down. \n\n## OK he said. \n## Thank you. I replied\n\nThe same thing happened at Costco. The bouncer quickly reached for his box of muzzles until I told him that I had a medical condition. Those are the magic words as he interrupted me to say \n## OK! \n\nAnd wave me in.\n\nI shopped hassle free, for which I’m grateful. But it just saddens me so much to see the state most people here have fallen to.\n\nDescendants of the pioneers are now wearing face shields, N95 or KN95 masks in their car, and thick gloves while shopping.\n\nDisplayed prominently were boxes of 50 one-time disposable face diapers from BYD. Look up that company in case you have not heard of it.\n\nThey are really turning up the heat. Costco had their sandwich board sign displayed prominently at the end entrance\n\n## No one may enter without a face covering.\n\nThe same thing at the dollar store. \n\n## You may not enter without a face covering. I entered without a face covering and was greeted cheerfully. So fuck you, sign.\n\nWhen deaths are dropping, why are they turning up the heat so much? As they are so fond of telling others, they could be asymptomatic for 14 years and not even know it, spreading their germs all over the place. Don’t they care about other people?\n\nIf it is so dangerous, wouldn’t they want to protect those closest to them? And there it is. \n\nThis has nothing to do with protection. \n\nJust like the TSA has nothing to do with airport security. It is simply security theater. And so is this. But, this ritual is of a far more sinister nature.\n\nWhat they are claiming and most are accepting is that your body does not belong to you. You are a slave to the collective. You will do what you were told, wear what you were told to wear, and shame whom you are told to shame.\n\nDisgusting and despicable.\n\nLook up what the word **democide** means. Three hundred million people in the 20th century work were murdered by their own government. That’s 3 million people per year. Even if every phony fake government-sponsored COVID-19 statistic was accurate - which they are decidedly not - this \"pandemic\" would still only be about half as deadly as the most dangerous killer around: the psychopaths in government and the mindless and/or psychopathic order followers.",

Thank goodness and well overdue. As I write this from the scorching valley of the sun a taxpayer stolen bus drives by me with a face mask required marquee on the front. Oh what a lovely weekend it was.\n\nStopping into an auto parts store in Payson, I was pleasantly shocked into a state of normal relaxation:\n\nA couple customers donning the mask of submission, but there, and there! And there! A majority of the customers and all of the employees had their free-breathing, healthy looking faces displayed to the world.\n\nI had a frankly enjoyable conversation with the guys at the front desk for the first time in I can’t remember how long. A conversation without muffled voices, dull eyes, and other travesties of this year.\n\nAt the oil change place in town, the same thing occurred. All three gentlemen working there were free-breathing and joking around. I had a genuinely jocular experience, joking around with the guys and letting them do their work. It was like the good old days - the days which will return with a vengeance.\n\n***\n\nThat was it for Payson. The next morning I stopped at a wonderful breakfast place in Heber. I will not disclose the name nor any of the names of the stores which I featured in this article for distrust of the *mask-stapo*.\n\nThe America of the history books, the America which the entire world risk their lives and fortune to emigrate to is on life-support.\n\nThe people of the world did not come to live in a \"social justice\" paradise. They came to live in a free society, or at least a society exponentially freer than the ones from which they fled. Fuck all of you working to turn it against that.\n\nI felt freer living in Communist China.\n\nThis breakfast spot was also decidedly normal. None of the servers spoke with muffled indistinct voices. All of them were smiling, joking, and having a good time. Even the owner was doing the same. The food was so delicious. I am so excited to go back the next time I’m in town.\n\nNone of the patrons, save one had donned the mask of submission. The sole exception was a gentleman in his 60s or 70s, but wearing the simple and useless cloth mask which offers no protection from infection.\n\nI will remember these places for quite a long time. There’s nothing wrong with it. Tyranny isn’t spreading over your once-free country. Go back to sleep. At the first Walmart, a different one then in yesterday’s report, I approached the door calmly, slowly, and with a big smile on my face.\n\nThere were two girls at the door. I stopped to face them before entering and told the eldest:\n\n## Good morning. I understand it is your store's policy to require facemasks. But I have a medical condition, so I cannot wear one. The younger one started to point me in towards the door. Victory!\n\nI was planning on continuing my speech, but the elder one also stopped me and said \n\n## That’s fine. Go ahead.\n\nI went about my business unmolested an unhurried. It was a refreshingly normal experience.\n\n*** \n\n# Part two: The Return\n\nI went back to the Walmart featured in [yesterday‘s report](https://steemit.com/covid19/@michaelmcawesome/the-muzzle-report-august-11-2020-walmart), keeping myself calm. \n\nI saw a small SUV parked in the lot with fantastic bumper stickers. One had Murray Rothbard’s face. Another with a don’t tread on me snake. I was encouraged.\n\nI calmly and politely explained to the new mask bouncer what I had said at the other store. I understand it is their store policy to require masks, but I have a medical condition so I cannot wear one.\n\nThe gentleman at the door, wearing his mask around his chin, smiled and pointed me towards the entrance. The other one, our \"hero\" from yesterday was also there.\n\nI was wearing my eyeglasses today so I got a better look at her. Still built like an offense of lineman, with the poor tan and freckled skin of way too much unhealthy sunshine.\n\nHer hair, which should’ve been gray given her age, had a poor appearance of a bad dye job. The Dunning Kruger effect personified.\n\nShe had to throw in her line that I was putting the people who worked at the store with cancer at risk. She had already told me twice before. She is wrong. \n\nI shook my head at her, smiled and said nothing but just walked into the store and returned my items without further incident.\n\n***\n\n# Whole Foods Bonus\n\nToday I went into Whole Foods, free-breathing. The two young men, with their masks around their chins, bid me good afternoon and THAT'S ALL.\n\nNo one: Not a customer, an employee, a manager, or a concerned citizen said a single word to me about my free-breathing mug. What a lovely experience!",

I thought it would be a hassle free experience, as I had read that Walmart does not bother customers who do not degrade themselves with muzzles for safety theater. As they say, that’s why they don’t play the games on paper.\n\nI was wrong.\n\nWalking towards the entrance, I noticed they still had the blue tape cordoning off approaches to the entrance, forcing entrants to walk another 150 feet out of their way so they could only enter in one direction. Practice for the FEMA camps maybe?\n\nI swept under the blue tape, moving past the officious muzzle bouncer as she perkily explained to another customer that \n## Shopping carts are on the right and they’ve ALL been sanitized.\n\nInside I felt disgusted. Somebody who is so far gone and proud of how so far gone she was. I walked past her.\n\nShe yelled out \n\n## Sir! \n\nI kept walking hoping to just ignore her and be on my way.\n\n## Sir! \n\nShe called out again. I continued walking, hoping to be rid of her.\n\nShe called out a third time. \n\n## You need a mask! \n\nI stopped, turned around and looked her right in the eye while saying \n\n## No I do not. \n\nYelling out to her actually as they were about 30 feet between us. \n\n## I have a medical condition so I am exempt from wearing one.\n\nShe said something like I need one no matter what to enter the store. I told her again no I do not. I have a medical condition.\n\n## What is it? \n\nShe asked. This was the first time it escalated that far. She stood with her hands on hips glaring at me.\n\nAfter working at a supermarket for a couple of months, I knew her type. The coworker with whom I worked who guarded the door was this way too. This person had family in the police department. She backed the blue. She followed the rules.\n\n## I called back that I do not need to tell her. And that she’s not allowed to ask. She said she is allowed to ask. I told her, \n\n## Well I don’t need to tell you.\n\nAs her way of claiming victory she told me that there are people with CANCER in the store, and I was putting them at risk.\n\nThis is how broken most peoples brains have become in this land.\n\nI moved quickly out of the situation, as a group of associates had gathered to listen. I pushed my cart past them and looked for my items. \n\nAs I was looking, the security “guard“, a young kid about 19 or 20 years old, came to me and told me impatiently that I had to wear a muzzle, that it was private property.\n\nFunny how \"private property\" is used as an excuse to justify tyranny. I'd love to hear those same people start railing against taxation, being the THEFT of private property. So many champions of private property these days.\n\nI told him again \n\n## I am exempt because I have a medical condition. He said it doesn’t matter. I said yes it does. \n\nHe looked up to the ceiling in exasperation and walked off quickly.\n\nI was not sure if this signified victory, or simply a brief respite before another escalation, this time potentially from an armed government worker, a cowardly but dangerous order followers, or perhaps even a vicious psychopath.\n\nI have a feeling that I should get my shopping done quickly. However, I still went about my business, asking associates (most of whom had their mask entirely under their nose, breathing freely, God bless them) for directions.\n\nMost of the others were polite. I saw an old man associate look at me and follow me with his gaze.\n\nI left the store, thankfully not through the same entrance. I heard the same dumb door bouncer yell out something along the lines of\n\n## You need to wear a mask next time to enter the store.\n\nI ignored her. It would not have done any good and my time is more valuable than that. She yelled out something more but I did not quite understand. I can guess her meaning.\n\nHer voice had the particularly modern American tone which belongs to a “woman” who is decidedly most unfeminine, raspy and trying hard to be tough. She had the body shape of an offensive lineman, without any of the grace. \n\nShe seems like she enjoys her job, as the other one at the grocery store I worked at did. She feels important. She’s keeping people safe. Or so she thinks. \n\nHowever, she is doing her best with her feeble strength to close the jaws of tyranny around other innocent people. Should that happen, the death toll resulting from what will follow will be far higher and far more gruesome than any virus, real or created in a laboratory.\n\nBut she probably won’t make the connection. She doesn’t seem that smart. Just loud, obnoxious, petty and officious. ",

It is the place which has given me the least amount of trouble, and also the place where I’ve been called a \"fucking asshole\" by an anonymous customer while I was on the phone.\n\nEntering the gate, the muzzle/diaper bouncer immediately scrambled for her box of disposable masks as she saw me rocking up, free-breathing.\n\n*First of all, even if I needed a mask, how sanitary is it for her to touch the fabric with her fingers, fabric that will touch and be in close proximity with my breath? If this was seriously a nasty contagion, wouldn’t any thoughtful person be more mindful of that piece of hygiene?*\n\nI stopped, looked at her, and told her I have a medical exemption so I do not need to wear one. Her eyes glazed over, as she looked past me and to the side while mumbling some thing, which was hard to discern due to her muzzled face but I think it was \"stay safe have a nice day.\"\n\nI walked on, and it was a relatively uneventful experience. No one bothered me. No one hassled me. No one said anything to me or freaked out over *the cases! Yes, I know about Amazon and Jeff Bezos, but in my area they have the freshest produce, which is very important to me.\n\nToday I stood up to the submission theater, and did not don a face diaper or a muzzle. Instead I walked in past the mask bouncer who did not say anything to me. I grabbed my cart, smiled and walked right in.\n\nAll was well in the produce department, I grabbed what I needed: Plenty of fresh vegetables for eating and juicing. I do care quite a bit about health. \n\nI do not care about security theater nor participating in any rituals of any cults. \n\nShopping went well until I asked an associate where the ice cream was. She glowered at my maskless self, before being triggered by my question into \"helpful associate\" mode. \n\nI felt she wanted to say something and as we were walking, she turned back and pointed to her muzzle saying muffled things which I did not understand clearly, though I was quite sure of what she meant.\n\n## \"What’s that?\" I asked \n\n## \"Do you have a mask?\" She said. \"They are required in our stores now.\"\n\n## \"Oh, no I don’t,\" I said. \"I am exempt from that.\" She walked on.\n\nAt check out, I shared compassion and empathy for the new cashier who slowly looked up each scan code of the  vegetables.
