| author | nativeskimo |
| body | It seems as if everywhere I go I'm always met with a sort of bureaucratic system. And frankly I'm getting upset at this organizational matrix because it constructs life as a set of codes and those codes are instrumental to live your life. This thought originally came from when today at 6 in the morning Western Pacific time I had met my own bureaucratic run with Kaiser Permanente. It took me about 2 hours just to get a appointment and to get a refill on my prescription medicine. The impersonal was made personal I was coughing I was grasping for air and all these people could think of what's your name let me confirm your number let me confirm your Social Security and it really ticks me off. Bureaucrats are everywhere they're not just social workers they are doctors lawyers teachers government officials police officers everyone is a bureaucrat. It's disgusting because they alienate themselves from reality and from actually servicing people's need in the name of their bureaucratic system. Why are rich people rich it's because they've been able to tap into the bureaucratic system by buying up lawyers by buying of experts to either write the laws for them or to exploit certain codes within the system they have an easy pass to the bureaucratic Network while the rest of us are Scavenging scratching our heads and and barely making ends meet down with the bureaucracy I'm fed up with that b******* |

It took me about 2 hours just to get a appointment and to get a refill on my prescription medicine. The impersonal was made personal I was coughing I was grasping for air and all these people could think of what's your name let me confirm your number let me confirm your Social Security and it really ticks me off.\nBureaucrats are everywhere they're not just social workers they are doctors lawyers teachers government officials police officers everyone is a bureaucrat. It's disgusting because they alienate themselves from reality and from actually servicing people's need in the name of their bureaucratic system. \nWhy are rich people rich it's because they've been able to tap into the bureaucratic system by buying up lawyers by buying of experts to either write the laws for them or to exploit certain codes within the system they have an easy pass to the bureaucratic Network while the rest of us are Scavenging scratching our heads and and barely making ends meet down with the bureaucracy I'm fed up with that b*******",

| body | *Please bear with me, as I try to scramble my thoughts together. I'll make sure to go back on this idea to refine and tweak it for performance purposes.* I started to ponder profoundly on the idea of decentralization in relation to highly centralized Unions. Is the idea possible? Maybe. But few have actually undergone such venture. From my head I could think of the Knights of Labor and the IWW. On more modern terms **take a look at this:** [Why Unions are going into the co-op business] (http://www.yesmagazine.org/issues/how-cooperatives-are-driving-the-new-economy/union-co-ops). >A March 2012 report from the USW, Mondragon, and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC), lays out a template for how “union co-ops” can function. “A union co-op is a unionized worker-owned cooperative in which worker-owners all own an equal share of the business and have an equal vote in overseeing the business,” the report states. Probably one of the few I've actually caught a glance at. Many Unions nowadays however, still function on a linear platform, under an Industrial based system of hierachies and only recently into managerial positions. Why? One theory I have stems back to the Roosevelt administration when Communist, Socialist, and Trade Unionist fought alongside to encapsulate what many refer to Keynesian economics or state run capitalism. And many know too well what happen to the Communist *(hint: The Red Scare)* and later to the Socialist, because shoot we are America all these scary words are all the same. But in the end who survived? It was the Trade Unionist, it was business unionism. Why? Because they did not want to radicalize the system the way the Communist, Socialist, and some Anarchist wanted to. They were statist to the quo. But let's go even further than that shall we? The Industrial Revolution where so much bullshit happen: child labor, poor sanitary conditions, dangerous environments, ghostly benefits, weekdays? Hourly work? It was also a great time of washing away the struggle of many White immigrants and their fight for the proletariat liberation. For without their participation we wouldn't be having the "benefits" that we do. Unions then helped to maintain the delicate dichotomy between master and slave. These two pivotal points: Industrial Revolution and the era of Keynesian economics were particularly well in adopting Labor tactics; at fighting off any wage suppression. But why? I think it falls down on the synonymous connection of centralization that these two pivotal points had in relation to Unions centralized network. In a synchretic manner, Unions could only rely on the centralized apparatus that these two pivotal points created-- Industrial Age you had the monopolies; the Keynesian era it was the State apparatus. Unions needed that centralized network to make it known how much they are needed. I think the last decentralize Union in modern times at least, was the UFW. In the way they started, everything seem to run on a democratic order, on a horizontal agenda where the workers had their own opinions validated and respected. Up until the Grape boycott when Cesar Chavez started to defect from the group and slowly started to get a god-complex; authoritarian, and what Gilberto Padilla stated when I had a conversation with him about what happen to Cesar, he said "estaba loco; he had political paranoia" It was the very act of centralizing the movement that eventually parted ways with the overall message. Ever since the Reagan and Thatcher era it Unions got a big beaten. Obviously their only strength and weakness was a heavy reliance on the State apparatus. When that shit moved over sees they kissed the workers power goodbye. But it wasn't really globalization that hit hard for Unions. It was actually the changing economic ecosystem. In the era that precedes the 80s and onwards, something particular different that the capitalist system develops does not compute accordingly to its centralized principles, ladies and gentleman I am speaking about the information techonology--the internet. Prior to all of this, the capitalist system worked well at adopting these new forms of social and economic order. Because again they ran under the guiding principles of centralization. But the hyper combined flux of information and technology created this weird environment that the capitalist system could not translate properly and with it the Unions as well. The internet, for all purposes, is a weird space of high volatility; high entropy; decentralized. For most of our economic history everything has sort of been running under a low entropic state. It's only natural to begin adopting this natural occurrence in life. But Unions just like these other centralized modes cant begin to fathom was is beginning to unravel before their eyes. *I'm going to stop it here before I go in more of a tangent than I am. Thanks for reading :)* |

| body | I'm not sure you could have anarcho-communism inside an anarcho-capitalist system. Say some of the individuals in an anarcho-capitalst society decided to treat all their private property as public means of production and form an anarcho-communist group. On the surface, it would seem that from the perspective of the capitalists and the free market, the communists could be considered a single entity. However, if you look at it from the communists perspective, they would be subject to control and limitations from the surrounding capitalist environment. Just to present a few issues: They would have to uphold contracts with external actors. That means, they would have to collectively agree upon the contents of these contracts. They would need to implement some process to choose how their collective interests are represented towards these external actors. They would be subject to the effects of the free market. As they would not control all available resources, they would have to import and export certain things. For example, if their collective territory did not contain any drinking water, their very existence would be dependent on the capitalist market. So while I'm sure it would be possible to implement some of the anarcho-communist principles in a closed group within an anarcho-capitalist system, a lot of them would have to be significantly rethought to fit the environment, most likely to the point where it couldn't even be labeled anarcho-communism anymore. But then again, this would be possible the other way around as well: you could form a group in an anarcho-communist system where members of the group respect each others private property, sign contracts, exchange goods through a free market and as a group (from their perspective, uphold the contract to) collectively take what they need and produce to their abilities. It's probably more obvious to you how this would be a mutilation of the inner group's principles. |

| body | Passive protest don't work when your aim is not at restructuring the system or stemming away from it. Many remember Dr. King as the heroic figure who fought for the rights of disenfranchised Color people. But they fail to delve into his other point--poverty. Did you forget, that a free population is not really free of they were still enslaved under the wage system. It was the Poor People's Campaign the real originator that formed the basis of OWS. Why do you think the government was so keen in killing him? I believe his last speech before he got assassinated was one about the sanitation workers. The speech is really about the Poor classes, whether your white or black poverty holds no racial bias. It's the idea that successfully be free we must all fight against the powers that be that hold so much of the unfettered power unchecked. |

| body | I agree with you in the fact that you can have communism under a capitalist system but not the other way around. But I wouldn't condense the interaction people have purely on contractual agreements. A contract translates to a system that will need to condense and codify. Life is not a bureaucracy. Life is chaotic and filled with relationships. The angle I see it, especially under this platform is that property is not a thing, less so is intellectual property. In this two cases they are what build the social relationship amongst people. In this case what I am trying to argue is that the mode we are living under is not really capitalist at all--rather it is a gift exchange economy. The stuff I write and reply to are freely given, even if I do not make physical or crypto cash. What I see is the potentiality of making something and been rewarded in a different way: more views, more followers, etc. (Anarcho-communism doesn't really need an apparatus, and I don't think it ever intended so. If it did what's the point of calling it anarchic? There can be some structure and order, it just has to come from the bottom up. If you cant find an order for people to mutually cooperate then it's not really anarchist society it's just chaos.) |

Nowadays we just anadectotally recycle and regurgatate the same ideas from 19th century French thinkers. I know the possibility exist. The ingredients to create such a scenario exists, so much analysis and breakthroughs may come in the future. I'm just glad I'm part of its vastness. |

| body | I believe that Unions are going on a downward spiral, and it has to do with a buggy-whip anamoly. So many resistors to this new system. Just take a look at the Luddites, destroying new technologies that outcompeted labor. What kind of physcopath will kill the very evolutionary step towards leisure? A lot of Unions are so focused on industrial labor that they fear mechanization. The answer is to not put your focus and energy in sectors that will be automize in a couple of decades; rather focus your attention to the factors that will bridge us to that new phase of economy--open source platforms. The more they stop resisting the inevitable, the easier they see themselves in the roles they play for future sectors. |

| body | The real ponzi scheme comes from social media that capitalize on our intellectual property. Where you write off your rights to these corporate giants to own your images, stories, videos, etc. Social media has infringed on our liberty and privacy for far too long. I am done being a slave to the Facebook nation. I no longer wish to be a renter and to pay my debt to Facebook or any other social media platform if I do not get my fair share in all of this. Because from where I see it, which is on the bottom, I aint getting none of the royalties you fuckers are getting. Even though it is WE, that you need the most to survive. These modern monopolies will hold little base in the oncoming years. The platform economy is slowly transforming itself...yet again. What made these tech companies richer in the begging--facilitating the transaction of goods and services to buyers and sellers without the need of a linear structure--will be out compete through a decentralize system, an open source platform. The coming years is filled with alot of chaos. I declare it to be a war on ecosystem, which ecosystem and for this steemit matrix, which cryptocurrency will be the last to survive? Who knows. What I do know is that even if I do not make a buck out of this, its my property, and no one owns it. |

Even though it is WE, that you need the most to survive. \n\nThese modern monopolies will hold little base in the oncoming years. Who knows. What I do know is that even if I do not make a buck out of this, its my property, and no one owns it.",

| body | In almost all Biblical scriptures in relation to the Devil, the Devil has been described more or less as the deceiver or the ultimate trickster. Everyone seems to mutually agree that messing with the Devil will lead you to no good. Few have ever actually dance with the devil and came back to the tell story. However, in The Simpsons, Homer spends most of his time dodging, evading, and ultimately winning against the Devil--through Bureaucracy. This story came as an inspiration after reading Utopia of Rules by David Graeber, in it he describes how their is a lack of analytical/satirical research on Bureaucracy in comparison to stories like "The Castle" and "Catch-22" I would argue that for the Simpsons the bureaucracy exists; its a rough manifestation but it exists; and its ultimately a commentary on the fallacy the Devil has under this system. **In The Simpsons Tree House of Horror Episode IV (Season 5 Episode 5)** http://projectwatchseries.com/videos/-the-simpsons-s5%20-e5/137504.h **@1:18** did anyone notice what was behind the image of the Devil ? Its a purple mountain, but look well at the silhouette--its Homer. Nice camo. The whole interaction with the Devil really emerges out of another contract Homer agreed upon at an earlier stage of his life. Look at **@ 2:02** when he is scrambling to find a replacement donut to subside his crave. He opens an emergency manual, and in the middle of the book you see a cut-out, perfectly fit for one juicy donut. However, what Homer finds is a sad IOU. He figures that his quench for this donut has the market value equal to that of his soul. He says it out loud "I would sell my soul for a donut" **@2:10** Moments later, Ned Flanders appears as the devil--a funny juxtaposition--Flanders hands out another contract for the trade of 1 donut for 1 soul. Homer agrees right away. And before Flanders could finish speaking, Homer ate all but the last piece. In a condescending manner Homer states but what could be the best line in the episode **@ 2:58** "I am smarter than the Devil!, I am smarter than the Devil!" Oh how telling is that statement, only its not really Homer, its actually someone much dearer. For much of this time since when Homer initiated the contract with Ned Flanders, the leverage was always Ned's. The contract was always meant to be broken, given the fact of how stupid Homer is, and how in love he is with Donuts, eventually he was going to lose. However when he does, as seen in **@ 3:30** the leverage gets turned back to the Simpsons. The moment Homer is about to get sucked into the inferno vortex. Lisa stops Ned, and says **@ 3:48** "Doesn't my Dad have the right for a fair trail?" and Ned replies, "Oh you Americans with your due process, fair trails, this is always so much easier in Mexico" The Devil's contract transgresses into a bureaucratic process and in the minutes that follow **@5:00 to @8:00** the case seems hopeless and bleak for Homer. **@ 5:30 Lionel Hutz--Homer's attorney--clumsily offers the Devil the ability to chose the jury; which end up being a crowd of the baddest people in history. Ned's view of the contract is emphasized at **@ 6:15** "I only ask what is rightfully mine." At this point you start to wonder if there is any escape for Homer? All evidence points to the accused. And at surface level, Lionel Hutz, seems to only dig Homer's grave deeper by this statement pointed out **@6 :35** "What is a contract? Webster defines it as an agreement under the law which is unbreakable...unbreakable." While his statement is counter-intuitive and frankly a DUH moment, it helps transition the next scene in the episode. Because while the Jury and the Judge is about to make their final decision; Marge Simpson swing by what could be the best timing. **@ 7:30** She shows everyone the original owner of Homer's soul. A letter Homer had written *(frankly probably forget as well)* to March after the night of their wedding. It states, "Dear Marge, you have given me your hand in marriage, all I can give in return is my soul." With this legal transcript; the 2nd contract initiated with the Devil and Homer is forfeited. And Marge becomes the one who is smarter than the Devil for remembering such paperwork existed in their case file. Obviously the only drawback to this story is the fact that the Devil did not know what Homer wrote beforehand. But what the battle really illuminates is that bureaucracies are ultimately a war on paperwork--who can bring the best kind to best fit your case. It is really the one mechanism that will make even the Prince of all Darkness feel stupid. But I guess that is what it is meant to do. Right? |

| body | I began to wonder what kind of person I wanted to be after graduating University. It was really an existential crisis between the person I was to the person I was becoming. I was slowly creeping away from the intellectual life that I grown accustomed and fond about. The folks at work also pushed me to realize where I wanted to be. And it wasn't until the beginning of the year where I really took my education to another level. I graduated on May 2015, with a Bachelor's degree in U.S History and a minor in Philosophy. Never much a rigorous student, hardly sparing time to study or to write a paper report, but I manage to get by with ease. Not a qualitative GPA, but good enough to graduate. The change came after graduating, several months after, when I was finally at work, and my coworkers continuous bland conversations gave me the realization of what needed to be done. I took it upon myself to continue to pursue my education even after receiving my diploma. Through the means of information platforms like the internet. I began venturing in the corners of the world wide web, and actually finding myself and maturing. I stand that with the full utilization of tech-info platforms we can proliferate and grow our understanding of the world a little better. We can help stop the funding of highly financialized educational system that gambles away young adults life for a buck or two. We can create our own spaces for intellectual debate and Socratic ponder under a decentralize system. We no longer need the qualities of State run educational programs. We can choose for ourselves what to learn, how to learn it, why, where, when. There is much to see, learn, hear, love, cry about in this world that the State apparatus will never grant us. We need to take control by detaching ourselves from the shell of the old and occupy elsewhere, setting off the down spiral of Academia, that for so long has lost its meaning and passion it once had--a haven for the awkward and obscure they once were. Now turned into financial instruments, debt bondage to the young, and ultimate destruction for a better and brighter future. I declare the full utilization of the internet to look, seek, and reach wisdom and knowledge. To fundamentally allow the death of the old self and rebirth of a new person take shape. Because if it weren't for this revolutionary tool, I do not know where I would be. There is still alot to learn, and I may not know everything. But what I do know is that I am free. And I will continue to be free and I am coming for my people who need to unplug. The world is a better place when you see the potential we all have as human beings. |

No one will give you money and all people are treated the same and fair. :) Or stay here and realize that if people like what you do they'll vote, and maybe you'll get some money and as more and more people like what you say more money will flow to you. Rigging the system in your favor is not going to fix a thing. Also hating the people that made the platform, spent their own time and money, because they have more money than you and talking about redistributing their wealth is not going to work. You might as well END ideas of that now, because the only way that'll happen is if you go spend your time and money and create a competing platform. You are welcome to do that. I can tell you I won't be joining you in it's usage because I see no benefit in EVERYONE being given things if they don't have to work for it. ***In addition, you did not really address anything in the article I wrote. I'm not quite sure what you were trying to achieve in this response, but I decided to reply anyway.*** If the world ever did embrace Anarchy (which is not likely) then as soon as you bring Communism to me and try to decide that something I create is not my property and belongs to the public, then you'll also discover my creation designed to remove brains from heads. I won't ATTACK you out of aggression but the minute you force me to defend myself I will and I am more than willing to give my life to defend the things I make. If I grab a stone and sculpt and amazing lion head. It is mine. I care not if the public thinks they own it and it belongs on the steps of some public building. | body | If you want to pursue maximum efficiency why not take the platform your building and redirect it to academia as a whole? Living under this new information technological age, incorporate the full utilization of the internet to pursue for more knowledge. I've freed myself and been learning more than I could ever have done from under Academia. Academia interjects corporatist values; the capitalization of your intellectual knowledge and the alienation of the intellect. The Administrator class of Academia has devised a bureaucratic structure so lethargically emphatic that you literally can die if you don't play along. And in the end the highly financialized beuracratic educational system has accredit your diploma. Because without the diploma how else are you going to participate in the States twisted beuracratic game and keep perpetuating the madness? Over and over again. Escape I say and run to cyberspace. |
