Also, mention author and curation rewards for your account for past 7 days.**\n**Author Rewards**: The reward you get on a post or blog after it has lasted seven days (expired), due to another user or users upvoting the post.\n\n\nCuration Rewards: This is the reward you get by voting others post(s). When the post you voted payout, the 25% remaining of the post's total reward is shared among all users who upvoted the post. We have five crucial keys on steemit namely:\n• Master password\n• Posting key\n• Active key\n• Private owner key and lastly\n• memo key\n\n *Master key* \nThe master password as it is called is used to generate the posting key, active key, private owner key and the memo key. The master password has the greatest liberty to a user’s account and it  should not be revealed to any one, It is better and safer to print out a hard copy and keep in a well secured place or to have a virtual memory backup such as Google drive in cases we loss the device or the devices was stolen\n\n *Posting Key* \nThe posting key allows the user to have access to write posts on steem and it is most frequently used key on steem for making posts on daily basis. The posting key also can also be used to comment, vote, resteem, follow and mute other accounts and a well as edit posts on steem.\n\n *Active Key* \nActive Key is a very sensitive key that can do numerous things also. It controls users wallet and this implies that, sending steem, powering up, powering down, placing market orders and updating profiles all these can be done using the Active Key. So the Active key should be securely kept and shouldn’t be shared with anybody.\n\n *Owner Key* \nThe owner key is another very delicate key that should be well guided. It can change the keys of an account and log the user out from his/her account. The owner key have a large extend of control over a user's account and should be stored in a very protected place offline preferably.\n\n *Memo Key* \nThe memo key is used for encryption and description of memo when transferring funds. The memo key isn’t so sensitive and as a result it should not raise more concern.\n\n *Securing Passwords* \nSecuring the keys in steem is another very important key because the keys are sensitive and are meant to be kept private. The posting key is save to give out but the owner key and master key should not be shared. The steps below explained the process to follow.\n\nStep 1:click on steem and select power up\n\nStep 2: enter the amount of steem you want to power up.
