Port Aransas, Rockport, Corpus Christi, Houston and so many other places are going to be dealing with so much damage and loss of life for a long time to come.\n\nI have friends and family there and I'm almost certain my house down there may have to be torn down as it was in one of the areas that was hardest hit by winds and flooding...\n\nBut that's the least of my concerns. I'm worried about the people there - my friends, family and neighbors - and I want to help.\n\n\nI'm pledging $100,000 to benefit the Red Cross in an effort to help everyone in Texas that has been affected by this hurricane.       "body": "yeah but the round before he was knocked out but held onto mayweather so he didn't get a 10 count, or the repeted hammer fists and the punching to the back of the head. also they show the judges score cards up to the point of the stoppage and all 3 judges had mayweather winning by a lot. \n\nhttps://cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/9122413/Screen_Shot_2017_08_27_at_1.18.43_AM.png\n\n\noh also the low blow thrown by McGregor and when mayweather signaled to the ref McGregor pushed him up agienst the ropes and started attacking. oh and the punch thrown while the ref was trying to separate them.\nI think it should have kept going but McGregor was seeing stars and it only would have taken another punch or 2 and he would bee on his back or face. imo atleast. also if it was anyone else with actual boxing experience they would have had a lot of points deducted rr disqualified for the crap going on.\n\nIDK, it was entrtaining but im sure if people could get talked into believing that that McGregor could win they could also get talked into beliving McGregor was robbed by the stopping of the fight and next time he will win.\n\nand maybe next time he would, mayweather was not the same fighter he was a couple years ago and it shows.\nHe should pay his taxes and live his life as 50-0 king for life. imo again.\n:D\nsry for the rant.\nI just think its funny and am expecting some butthurt people, possibly a rematch. McGregor could make more money off a rematch then he could fighting the rest of his life in MMA",

Despite the breaches, it was a largely controlled, professional display from the MMA fighter.  \nMayweather, meanwhile, struggled to stamp his authority on the contest, receiving blows to the head and failing to make an impact on the 29-year-old opponent.  \n\nThe American found himself against the ropes early in the fourth round as McGregor went on the attack. Despite apparently trailing the Irishman, Mayweather had time for a wink to the cameras in a show of confidence.\nBut Mayweather is known to be patient and started to find his groove in the fifth round.  Pushing the Irishman back, Mayweather landed a number of blows to the body and his pressure started to pay off in the sixth as the Irishman seemed to tire. \n\nIn the seventh, he finally started exerting serious pressure on McGregor, getting him on the ropes and landing a hard left hook. \n\nIn the eighth, Mayweather maintained the pressure but McGregor remained defiant, landing some shots of his own.\n\nMcGregor got Mayweather on the ropes early in the ninth, but Mayweather battered McGregor with a hard right.
