This advantage is how easily digital media can be shared, stored, copied and changed.\nSince its entry into the market, digital media has generated a lot of innovation in many industries in the economy.\nSome of the most heavily impacted industries are. education, journalism, entertainment, publishing, etc.\nEven though digital media innovation in many sectors of the economy is truly enormous, it does not seem that this will end any time soon.\n\nTHE MOVIE INDUSTRY \n\nAt the same time, the presence of digital media has caused a great deal of change in many sectors of the economy. Its impact in the film business is very easy to understand.\nDigital media has taken the film industry from the era of analog film cameras to the era of digital cameras only.\nThis innovation certainly has both positive and negative sides. One of its advantages is it is economical.\nDue to the presence of digital media, it has become much easier to distribute films- this can be done with only one click of a buttons.\nWell, its downside is that it has driven some people out of work. \nMany dangerous stunts that had to be executed in order for the films to appear real are no longer necessary because they can be done digitally.\n\nJOURNALISM \n\nThe film industry is not the only economic sector that has been influenced by digital media.\nJournalism is a sector where the emergence and impact of digital media is very evident.\nDigital media seems to have caused more harm than good for journalism.\nThis has led to job losses for many people due to reduced relevance of print media.\nWhile the loss of jobs that has resulted in loss of relevance in the print media is wrong, worse still, many large newspapers had to close their doors because of the bankruptcy.\nOn the other hand, the emergence of digital media has created jobs in the journalistic sector. However, these jobs are only accessible to those who are digitally literate.",
