      "body": "So at first when i saw these commercials they were funny.\nhttp://i63.tinypic.com/30mtr4i.jpg\nBut after a few weeks and them coming on every 15 min on every channel, I'm starting to go a little nuts.\nThe at first catchy jingle was OK, but now it rolls around my brain day and night, i cant sleep! its the worst ear-worm in the world.\nWhenever the commercial comes on i immediately change the channel and try not to think about it, unfortunately it invades my brain and it starts going round and round in my head, i try to turn on music or think about one of my favorite songs but it doesn't always work, when I'm sleeping I'm dreaming of the song.\nI wonder if Direct TV is using some sort of subliminal messaging in their commercials.\nBut whatever the cause of the ear-worm, i wish it was gone.\nBut i know one thing, i wont ever be a customer of Direct TV because of it, their marketing backfired on this guy.\nhttp://i64.tinypic.com/o73rer.jpg",

      "body": "so...I didn't make it rich on Steemit.\nThis is how my friend and coworker started our lunch today at work.\nhttp://i68.tinypic.com/262y1ia.jpg\nI asked, well how many blogs/stories did you post? he said 4.\nI said well that's the problem (and probably the content)\nAnyway that's how my lunch went but i felt it was an interesting perspective to have, only blogging 4 times and surprised your not rich, I'm not here to make it rich (i wont be sad if i get rich though!)\nI'm here to watch the next big idea take off and change the face of cryptocurrency and social media, I'm a band-wagoner just like everyone else, however I don't jump ship when it doesn't shoot to the moon right away, i mean look at bitcoin when it was new, people were surprised it was worth $0.30, now its over $600 a coin.\nYou never know what Steemit will become, but I'm excited to sit back and watch knowing I'm part of it, if my account gets noticed and i start making good money great!       "body": "So my 3 kids have downloaded Pokemon go and have been playing it for a few days now, at first i was happy they were out of their rooms and out of the house getting vitamin D and oxygen and what not, but now I'm slightly concerned, my neighborhood is a fairly safe place (if anyone can really say \"safe\" in this day and age) but anywhere can have problems.\nAfter my 13 year old daughter and her friend returned after chasing some digital dust around the neighborhood, she seemed a bit off, so i asked her what what wrong, she said that a group of kids were out playing by them and came over to them to chat about the game, however one boy about 16 was very nasty to her, talking about her boobs and butt and asking if she had had sex yet, this really upset her and she has decided not to go back out, even with a friend. and i don't blame her, even though i wanted to crush this kids skull in, he didn't touch her or hurt her he just made her uncomfortable, I'm glad she wont be out now because with all the benefits of the game, health, social and whatnot there are some scary truths, a lot of these \"kids\" and adults that  are running around probably don't have the best social skills or are in a way shut-ins or recluse type people, this game brought them out from the shadows and good or bad are changing the landscape of social interaction.",

      "body": "The city stood still former home to Hundreds of thousands of souls, dilapidated buildings blighted the sky obscuring clear sight to the moon, huge hulks of steel and stone sticking up out of the cold ancient street, cars that have been parked waiting for their owners to return look back thru dusty windshields, flat tires and rotting seats.\n\nWaking along down Bagley Avenue was jade, the only movement for blocks, confident, beautiful, and deadly she searched for the opening to the building she was striding towards.\nIn a dark obscure corner of the backside of the building was a door recessed and devoid of a handle was the only door visible.\n\nShe knew it well, though she hadn’t been here in over 10 years.\nShe had traveled far, over 400 miles to find it, not really knowing if she would ever make it, or if it was even still standing. \nShe had walked, starved and struggled to get back here wondering, wanting, wishing to find it.\nJade slowed her pace as she approached, thinking , this is too easy, where was the barricade, the military, the gangs, the resistance she had found in other city’s other where’s and whens.\nDetroit looked like it always had, dilapidated, rotting but much much worse, buildings had fallen, streets were cracked and broken into huge slabs of concrete jutting between trees and brush, steam poured from beneath the sewer cap about a block away where some piece of machinery continued to heat the sewer to prevent freezing in the winter, the lumbering machine running on a small solar power farm still providing some small source of energy to this part of the city.\n\nThe building was dark; it was almost dawn, the small rays of sunlight just starting to peak out from beyond the eastern border of the Detroit River.\n\nShe walked slowly toward the building noting that all the glass windows, floor to ceiling windows had been broken, small remnants remained in the frame jutting out like broken teeth.\n\nAs she got closer she saw the café, dark and decayed, a small sign still shown in the light, Lucy & Ethel’s, shining like it was new, made out of stainless steel it would be there for a hundred years unless it fell.\n\nShe approached the door to the café, only 10 feet away now, she wondered what kind of trap she must be walking into, she hadn’t seen anyone in 2 days, 2 days of approaching the city calculating her moves had seemingly been for nothing, this city was dead.\n\nShe wondered why no one was in Detroit. Toledo after all was much more lively, with about a hundred or so people there.\n\nShe slowly looked around waiting for some sort of sign of life waiting for some type of ambush maybe, she was only 2 feet away from the door, looking thru the broken glass to see the counter and a few dishes littering the tables and floor.\n\nSmall movement from the corner of her eye and she whirled pulling the revolver from her hip as she spun, a rat ran down the sidewalk, she almost pulled the trigger not caring what was there to kill,  but just to get the jump on it, but her instinct held her hand, instinct and a serious shortage of ammo.\n\nIm jumpy ‘she thought, calm down damn you, you came this far and with no one around for days and nothing to stop you….she let the thought trail off.\n\nShe walked toward the door and stepped thru the broken glass, pushing the second door open with her free hand, It groaned and shuddered along the floor, she was still holding the revolver, a 357 magnum, a very powerful but very loud gun, last time she used it, it brought half the city to her.\nShe wouldn’t risk finding out if the city was really dead or if there were people here unless she absolutely had to.\n\nThe second door required some effort to budge open, years of weather, rain, snow and heat had buckled the steel frame and bent the door towards the floor.\nIt moved in enough making scraping sounds against dingy almost black tile floor that once had been white.\n\nThe sun was slowly coming up over the road and it glistened on the stainless steel grill hood in the diners small kitchen just in view, reflecting light in many directions making it easer to see her surroundings, one of the things she taught herself was don’t go into the bigger buildings, there unstable, but she needed to be in this one.\n\nSlowly she walked into the café carefully moving around items lying on the floor including the cash register smashed in between two smaller tables, a small amount of change lay around the register covered in dust. \n\nShe moved to the counter and picked up a menu laying on the counter, pictures of semi good looking food looked back at her, the paper was yellowed with age and a small area of the plastic was torn away. Someone, gods knew who or how long ago, had drew a hand with the middle finger up and the words bite me.\nShe expected it to smell foul but after 10 years any food stuff would be long gone, still there was something in the air, she couldn’t quite put her finger on it but it reminded her of mushrooms.\n\nAbout 15 feet in front of here was a door that led into the hallway that led to the main entrance foyer. She knew this place well she hadn’t been here in 10 years but she spent every weekend here for 6 years, this building, this place was her home away from home…or at least it used to be.",

      "body": "The city stood still former home to Hundreds of thousands of souls, dilapidated buildings blighted the sky obscuring clear sight to the moon, huge hulks of steel and stone sticking up out of the cold ancient street, cars that have been parked waiting for their owners to return look back thru dusty windshields, flat tires and rotting seats.\n\nWaking along down Bagley Avenue was jade, the only movement for blocks, confident, beautiful, and deadly she searched for the opening to the building she was striding towards.\nIn a dark obscure corner of the backside of the building was a door recessed and devoid of a handle was the only door visible.\n\nShe knew it well, though she hadn’t been here in over 10 years.\nShe had traveled far, over 400 miles to find it, not really knowing if she would ever make it, or if it was even still standing. \nShe had walked, starved and struggled to get back here wondering, wanting, wishing to find it.\nJade slowed her pace as she approached, thinking , this is too easy, where was the barricade, the military, the gangs, the resistance she had found in other city’s other where’s and whens.\nDetroit looked like it always had, dilapidated, rotting but much much worse, buildings had fallen, streets were cracked and broken into huge slabs of concrete jutting between trees and brush, steam poured from beneath the sewer cap about a block away where some piece of machinery continued to heat the sewer to prevent freezing in the winter, the lumbering machine running on a small solar power farm still providing some small source of energy to this part of the city.\n\nThe building was dark; it was almost dawn, the small rays of sunlight just starting to peak out from beyond the eastern border of the Detroit River.\n\nShe walked slowly toward the building noting that all the glass windows, floor to ceiling windows had been broken, small remnants remained in the frame jutting out like broken teeth.\n\nAs she got closer she saw the café, dark and decayed, a small sign still shown in the light, Lucy & Ethel’s, shining like it was new, made out of stainless steel it would be there for a hundred years unless it fell.\n\nShe approached the door to the café, only 10 feet away now, she wondered what kind of trap she must be walking into, she hadn’t seen anyone in 2 days, 2 days of approaching the city calculating her moves had seemingly been for nothing, this city was dead.\n\nShe wondered why no one was in Detroit. Toledo after all was much more lively, with about a hundred or so people there.\n\nShe slowly looked around waiting for some sort of sign of life waiting for some type of ambush maybe, she was only 2 feet away from the door, looking thru the broken glass to see the counter and a few dishes littering the tables and floor.\n\nSmall movement from the corner of her eye and she whirled pulling the revolver from her hip as she spun, a rat ran down the sidewalk, she almost pulled the trigger not caring what was there to kill,  but just to get the jump on it, but her instinct held her hand, instinct and a serious shortage of ammo.\n\nIm jumpy ‘she thought, calm down damn you, you came this far and with no one around for days and nothing to stop you….she let the thought trail off.\n\nShe walked toward the door and stepped thru the broken glass, pushing the second door open with her free hand, It groaned and shuddered along the floor, she was still holding the revolver, a 357 magnum, a very powerful but very loud gun, last time she used it, it brought half the city to her.\nShe wouldn’t risk finding out if the city was really dead or if there were people here unless she absolutely had to.\n\nThe second door required some effort to budge open, years of weather, rain, snow and heat had buckled the steel frame and bent the door towards the floor.\nIt moved in enough making scraping sounds against dingy almost black tile floor that once had been white.\n\nThe sun was slowly coming up over the road and it glistened on the stainless steel grill hood in the diners small kitchen just in view, reflecting light in many directions making it easer to see her surroundings, one of the things she taught herself was don’t go into the bigger buildings, there unstable, but she needed to be in this one.\n\nSlowly she walked into the café carefully moving around items lying on the floor including the cash register smashed in between two smaller tables, a small amount of change lay around the register covered in dust. \n\nShe moved to the counter and picked up a menu laying on the counter, pictures of semi good looking food looked back at her, the paper was yellowed with age and a small area of the plastic was torn away. Someone, gods knew who or how long ago, had drew a hand with the middle finger up and the words bite me.\nShe expected it to smell foul but after 10 years any food stuff would be long gone, still there was something in the air, she couldn’t quite put her finger on it but it reminded her of mushrooms.\n\nAbout 15 feet in front of here was a door that led into the hallway that led to the main entrance foyer. She knew this place well she hadn’t been here in 10 years but she spent every weekend here for 6 years, this building, this place was her home away from home…or at least it used to be.",
