They were not so expensive, approximately 4$ round trip. From 5 a.m. the doors are open for those who want to climb the 1,605 that it has, only people who are in good physical condition can go up there (or at least what I heard from the guard), otherwise you can suffer spasms from the altitude and atmospheric pressure. For athletes, there is a special card that you can go up with a 50% discount on the funicular.\nOnce on the funicular, the view is very beautiful. As we approached there was a prayer, the name and who had made this sculpture. It turned out that it was a representation of the homeless Jesus. Imagine on a mountain (which is already high) a second floor and with glass walls. The food was very tasty, we had picada which is what you can see in the second picture on the right. It comes with: chicken, beef, pork, avocado, banana, Colombian potato and as a courtesy of the house, they gave us soup. Everything was delicious and the condiments were very good, the real rolo flavor (which is how they call the people who live in Bogota). It was raining that day, so it is very important to bring something to cover your hands, a sweater and an umbrella (you never know, the weather in Bogota is very volatile).\n\n> Comenzó la travesía a las 8 de la mañana, mientras esperábamos el autobús que teníamos que tomar para llegar hasta el cerro. Ese día estaba lloviendo, así que es muy importante que lleves algo para cubrir tus manos, un suéter y un paraguas (nunca se sabe. They were not so expensive, approximately 4$ round trip. From 5 a.m. the doors are open for those who want to climb the 1,605 that it has, only people who are in good physical condition can go up there (or at least what I heard from the guard), otherwise you can suffer spasms from the altitude and atmospheric pressure. For athletes, there is a special card that you can go up with a 50% discount on the funicular.\nOnce on the funicular, the view is very beautiful. The fear eats away at you because of the altitude, but I promise it is a unique experience.\n\n>Llegamos hasta la entrada  y estaba la taquilla para comprar los tickets. No eran tan caros, aproximadamente 4$ la ida y vuelta. A partir de las 5 a.m. están abiertas las puertas para quien desee subir los 1.605 que tiene, sólo las personas que tienen buena condición física pueden subir por ahí (o por lo menos lo que escuché del vigilante), del caso contrario puedes sufrir espasmos por la altura y la presión atmosférica. Para los deportistas, hay una tarjeta especial que pueden subir con un 50% de descuento en el funicular.\nYa subiendo en el funicular, la vista es muy hermosa. It was getting so cold that we couldn't move our fingers much. The roads were long and wide, the atmosphere was happy and warm (metaphorically speaking). As we approached there was a prayer, the name and who had made this sculpture. It turned out that it was a representation of the homeless Jesus. That made me feel sad, because it was a metaphor for the homeless, who wander for the rest of their lives. \n\n>Al acabar la misa nos separamos con una escultura que nos llamó la atención. Al acercarnos había una oración, el nombre y quien había hecho esta escultura. Resulta que era la representación de Jesús sin techo. Imagine on a mountain (which is already high) a second floor and with glass walls. The food was very tasty, we had picada which is what you can see in the second picture on the right. It comes with: chicken, beef, pork, avocado, banana, Colombian potato and as a courtesy of the house, they gave us soup. Everything was delicious and the condiments were very good, the real rolo flavor (which is how they call the people who live in Bogota).
