You will find Nemo... and his parents, siblings, and sixth cousin twice-removed.\n\nBeautiful as the hotel's private beach is, it's worth hiring a driver for the day so you can experience the different waters of this gorgeous island. If you're also hurting for adventure, you'll get your fix during the drive alone – with more pot holes than road under your wheels, you're really getting a tour and roller coaster in one. \n\nFor snorkelling, Million Dollar Point should be your first stop... lacklustre as it appears. This poor beach is covered in litter and rocks to the point where you won't feel safe to take your shoes off, but cross that hazardous wasteland to the deep, clear water and you will be rewarded. There are wreckages just below the surface, which are now home to an extraordinary marine ecosystem. You will lose time chasing your new friends as they dart in and out of iron hidey-holes, never mind the enormous schools of fish glittering by on all sides. If you're lucky enough, you might even see a turtle or two.\n\nIt's time to relax again by this point, which means heading up to the northern cape of Port Olry, where you will find stunning Champagne Bay. How do you fix this? By following these hilariously dodgy steps:\n\n1. Use your own referral code to create a whole new account (then set up wallet etc)\n2. Purchase at least 100 R7 from BTC-Alpha and send to your new account.\n3. Stake that R7.\n4. Congrats, the features from your original account should now be unlocked.\n\nNow, a disclaimer: I have not personally tried these steps myself. This is the official advice Regal issued me, and to be honest, I am preeeeeetty skeptical. I have chosen to just leave my account as is and see what happens.\n\nWant to give it a shot, though? After watching my friends break their brains trying to make sense of the Regal changes, I decided to construct this guide.\n\nSo if you're having trouble understanding these new developments, how to use the updated platform, or get started with staking, please read on!\n\n***\n\n**THE BASICS:**\n\nR7 = their staking coin. You can no longer stake (lend) with your REC. REC must first be converted to R7. \n\nCrypto gods willing, R7 will hit exchanges within the next month, which means you will soon be able to convert BTC to R7 and vice versa.\n\nThere is no more \"lending\" per se, but their staking contract program (SCP) functions very similarly to their previous lending program.\n\n***\n\n**THE KICKER:**\n\n<center>_Unconverted balances and released capital have been converted to \"code balances\"_</center>\n\nYou cannot withdraw your capital. You cannot convert it. Your capital now exists as this \"code balance\". And there is only one thing you can do with this code balance: Stake it. \n\nSo if your lending contract expired during the site lockdown and you were looking forward to withdrawing your capital, looks like you're hard out of luck. It is unclear whether _all_ future capital releases will be auto-converted to code balance, or if it was just capital released during the system change. I will update this when I know for certain, but current information points to the former.\n\nWhether you're just shrugging your shoulders at this development or burning with murderous rage -- it is what it is. Personally, I've just accepted this as another crazy crypto ride, staked my \"code balance\", and am hoping to make a few bucks. \n\n***\n\n**BUT HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?**\n\n\n+ STEP ONE\n\nLet me guess: You’re getting the PLEASE GENERATE WALLET error every time you click on ```Staking``` or ```Convert```? If so, keep reading. I hadn't felt like the captain of my own fate for a very long time, and people who feel that way are forever doomed to let the sea carry them wherever it wishes. I would not be forty years old and still looking through seat cushions.\n\nI made a plan.\n\nI opened six new bank accounts devoted to my various financial needs.\n\nI connected with friends worthy of my time and effort.\n\nI threw myself into cryptocurrency.\n\nI joined an archery club – something I'd sworn I would do for twenty years.\n\nI started writing again.\n\nI joined this community.\n\nI played a video game.\n\nI would say I am reclaiming myself, but I'm not certain if I ever really owned myself to begin with. So I am claiming myself – finally – inch by inch. It's not an easy feat, and I have a junk drawer of emotional knots to untangle, but it's progress. \n\nMy job still rules me for now, but surrogates are hard to release. My self-worth has always been bound too tightly to external factors, and I care far too much what the people around me think – these are problems with thirty years of traction. That's ok. It's ok to have a bumpy past, psychological blocks, and weaknesses born of those markers. Not everyone understands why people like me cling to these messes, and their judgment makes me feel stupid and even weaker at times, but it <i>is</i> ok. I understand my flaws, why I am who I am and why I do what I do, and there's a sad beauty in having the kind of perspective I know I have.\n\nCleaning my life means first cleaning my mind, and boy howdy, I am <i>scrubbing</i>. It's a solo job, but there are people cheering me on even when they don't realize it, and that makes me scrub harder.
